He is quickly subdued.\n\nUpon capture, his flippant attitude makes it obvious that he's aware how little trouble he would be in with the law due to lack of evidence, lack of crime enforcement, or whatever else – seeming to indicate it's not the first time he's caught in the act. Fortunately, the plan was never to deliver him to the authorities, but to rather take the matter into their own hands and see if the result may be a little more effective; no matter which of the theories is correct, making an example of him would probably have a positive effect on the community.\n\nPart of it consists in humiliating him, and he is stripped of his clothes, and cuffed to a lamp post. Interestingly enough, he has the gall to try and call for help; the muzzle they've brought with them comes in handy, and his ironic complaints are promptly muffled.\n\nThey stand back to decide what to do with him next in order to ensure he would remain trapped for enough of a while to properly learn his lesson.
