It seemed like that the rain started to pour down even more heavily. Raindrops were pounding violently against the umbrella Sin was holding, and it almost felt like that it was their mission to tear it apart, giving no shelter for Sin and Ivory. The shorter man had almost glued himself to his significant other's side, partly because he wanted protection from the horrible weather, partly because he just wanted to be close to the man he loved. The taller man didn't seem to mind this and just kept walking. They were wandering through Olden Shadow Town, not uttering a single word. It was evening and the town was getting prepared for a relaxing nighttime. The heavy rain had driven most people out of the streets and stay inside their warm homes. That was the reason why Sin and Ivory didn't really encounter that many denizens. Those few who were outside for a reason or another, mostly didn't pay much attention to these two men and just minded their own businesses. A couple of people did take a look at them, but went on their own ways right after that. There was a bloodstain on Sin's clothes and for some reason, nobody seemed to care. It wasn't that visible, though, but it was still there. Then again, that's just how a lot of things were running in this town – people didn't want to get involved with shady stuff. It was better to look away. The journey through the town to Ivory's place was – as expected – very much uneventful. Ivory unlocked the door and the two men stepped inside, being welcomed by the warmness of a home. The shorter man took the black umbrella from Sin, shook it a little bit to get some of the raindrops fall from it and then folded it. Ivory paused for a moment to look at his beloved one. Sin's clothes were soaked since he had been wandering in the rain without a protection from an umbrella before their paths met. The taller man kicked his boots off his feet while the shorter one was inspecting him. “Maybe you should go and take a hot shower”, Ivory suggested. “I'll wash your clothes.” Sin didn't reply verbally. He just nodded. And with that, both men began to ascend the stairs to upper floor, then finding their way to the bedroom where they could get access to bathroom. Before going to the shower, Sin took off most of his clothes, leaving only his pants on. Ivory stared in awe at the sight of Sin's athletic body. He just was sinfully good-looking man in Ivory's opinion. Sin didn't pay much attention to him, however, and marched to the bathroom, closing the door behind him, leaving the shorter man alone. Ivory kept looking at the door for a little while after his significant other had disappeared to the other side of it. He heard the shower turning on. Now he had to wait a little while. His washing machine was in that bathroom, so he had to wait for Sin to be ready before he could wash his clothes. Ivory sat on the edge of his bed and just passed the time. His eyes wandered around the room. Eventually his gaze fell upon the pile of clothes Sin had left behind. His clothes… Ivory decided to stand up again and walked to the pile. He picked up the green coat from it. Even though it was wet, he chose to dress in it. As expected, the coat was a bit too large for him. Also, his wing didn't really fit, so it looked like that he had a massive hump on his back. But still, because there was a tall mirror in his room, he marched in front of it and took a good look on his reflection just out of curiosity. The coat did look a bit silly on him, but he kept turning his body and looking at different angles of his mirror image, just for fun. Then he buried his face in the coat, deciding to sniff it. It smelled like cigarettes, which wasn't a surprise since Sin was a smoker. There was also a manly scent mixed with it, which Ivory thought to be strangely pleasant. Wrapped in the coat, inhaling the smell, he heard the bathroom door open. Ivory turned to face Sin, who was just wearing a towel around his waist. As soon as the taller man noticed that Ivory had his coat on, he raised his eyebrow, giving a bit puzzled look. “Why are you wearing that?” Sin asked. Ivory gave him a smile. “Just for fun”, he answered. Sin just shook his head a bit. Figuring that Sin probably needed some clothes, Ivory pointed at the door of a wardrobe and said: “There might be some clothes that fit you.” And with that, Sin walked to the closet and disappeared inside of it. While waiting for him to be ready, Ivory decided to be productive and do the laundry. With longing mind, he took off the coat. First, he searched the pockets for some small items and did find Sin's lighter and a pack of cigarettes. Then he loaded the washing machine with first set of clothes and turned it on. He was done for now, and wandered to the bedroom to wait for Sin. The time was passing by. No sign of Sin. It was taking awfully long time for him to get dressed, Ivory thought. “Darling?” Ivory called. “You okay?” No response. He was almost ready to get up and look what was taking so long. But right before he decided to perform this task, Sin appeared. And Ivory couldn't help but chuckle. Sin had put on some dark grey, quite tight pants and a purple t-shirt. They were just a little bit too small, he was taller than Ivory, after all. And they made him look so gay. He wasn't looking comfortable at all. “That suits you”, Ivory commented. “Fuck you”, Sin growled. “It's fucking impossible to find anything that fits.” Then he disappeared to the closet again. “You could also stay naked”, Ivory pointed out. “I promise I won't stare. Too much.” In the end, Sin did successfully find something to wear. He snatched from Ivory's wardrobe some loose black pants and a hoodie and was satisfied with them. Sin also made a note to get some change clothes he could use in Ivory's place for situations like this. The rest of the evening they pretty much spent cuddling on the couch, watching TV. Even though Sin had found some comfortable clothes, the memory of him in those pants and shirt he had first dressed in gave Ivory something to smile about for the rest of the day.
