a walk in the park :3c","description_bbcode_parsed":"Like a walk in the park :3c","writing":"CHAPTER XII\n\nZonic almost missed the Scourge's awful personality. But only almost. He followed scourge out of the house and to the sidewalk. \"We have a park... that way. It's not far.\" He said, pointing the direction he remembered the park to be in. They walked slowly. Both of them having trouble moving. \"That park sure is far away when you walk like this.\" He grumbled. For once his Sonic-typical impatience was showing. Walking this slowly outdoors was... not normal for him. He remembered the park being only the blink of an eye away. But at this speed it took them almost ten minutes to get there.\n\nMaybe because they entered the store on their way there. It was a tiny store with a very bored looking store clerk who didn't even look up from his phone as they bought snacks and some cans of beer. Zonic had refused to buy any stronger alcohol. Beer was fine. He didn't drink alcohol usually but he could stomach one beer.\n\nThe park was small and quiet. There wasn't a soul out here. Just as they entered the lights flickered on. There was a small calm pond, a few empty benches with a nice view of the planet surface or the endless sky depending on which side of the pond you picked to sit down.\n\n\"This isn't bad. We should go out more often.\" He said quietly, following Scourge to whichever bench he picked, before handing him the little plastic bag filled with beer and snacks. Not without stealing one can of beer out of the bag first, however.\n\nHe'd been in this park a few times, but it was the first time he'd stayed. The bench wasn't really his thing though so he got up again, only to sit down at the edge of the pond, staring at the black water. \"Can you swim?\" He asked after a while. Popping his can of beer open. \"Most Sonics can't.\"\n\nHaving beer and some snacks at night in a park was never his ideal way of spending his evening, but it was for this time. Scourge felt his sticky fingers come into play, of course caught by the cop. He missed being able to just take things, but only for now he’d behave just so he wouldn’t get scolded later. He didn’t… mind this too much. This atmosphere was calm, it was boring but it was a break from all the intense shit he had to endure over the past few months. He never noticed how much of a breather he needed, how his fur was always somewhat tense, his jaw felt like it would break from how clenched it was at times. He couldn’t remember the last time he felt relaxed. Even when alone in Zonic’s house, he was still trying to eliminate every bad thought that came to mind but it was near impossible. Not even his biggest distractions were enough but this actually helped. \n\nSure, he’d have opted to run, but the calmness of the night, the look of the sky around him, for a second time this week it actually captivated him. He always kinda found the usual Sonic he dealt with a big of a treehugger, not really seeing much of the ‘beauty’ in nature the same way. It was nice sure, it meant freedom to Scourge but to sit and appreciate the way it looked and how it shaped the world… well, it was kind of a new thing for him. He sighed, watching the sky first, the stars were pretty nice… \n\n“Swim…? No.” He frowned, turning to Zonic and tilted his head. “You mean to tell me, you can??” He didn’t think that was… well possible. He was once Anit-Sonic but it didn’t mean his abilities were opposite of the Prime. He was just as useless in the other as the other. “You wouldn’t catch me near a body of water like that...honestly.” He didn’t want to join his companion, it just seemed like a one way ticket to drowning. “I take it you can. I can’t imagine a cop that can’t fuckin’ swim. Ya know… saving lives and all that shit.” He popped open his can and pulled the mask down. Take his first huge gulp, he gasped. It was a familiar, bad taste that felt like good to have again. He cleared his throat, so much better. He looked at the can and then at Zonic. \n\n“You’re uh… not so bad. I mean… when you’re not being a stuck up asshole and all that.” He tapped the can, moving it around a bit to watch the liquid swirl around inside. “I’m not the easiest to get along with, obviously. And I kinda don’t plan on becoming a soft hearted pansy like you… but I guess in some ways this can -kinda- work out.” He wasn’t trying to say thank you, but it was coming out like that. Whatever. “I kinda assume I’d be dead in that jail by now. I don’t think I had much fight left in me before your happy ass came along.” He sipped some more of the beer, clearing his throat. “I would’ve been fine with it to be honest. Kind of a shitty end to someone like me, but hey, I got caught.” He shrugged. “Still… I’m here now, so I guess that’s a good thing. I don’t know why I’ve been acting this way, that uh… whatever that was before I slept. I don’t get it. All I know is it’s there, like a fuckin shadow looming over me. It’s like that creepy uncle ya never wanted around, haha. Don’t you have an Uncle Chuck- excuse me, ‘Zuck’ or however the fuck you weirdos pronounce your names. Either way, do you really plan on keeping me for a long time? Cause uh… at some point I WILL heal fully, and when that happens, I can’t promise I’ll be as agreeable as I am now. You other Sonics are so trusting.. I guess I’m just giving you a warning now since… well, you’ve been...okay.” \n\nZonic didn't particularly -like- water. But he could swim, yes. He had to learn it. It'd been an awful learning process and he wasn't a good swimmer either. Well he could probably save someone out of water if a life depended on it. \"I can... but I don't like water either.\" He said, still fascinated by the dark mirror-like surface. How deep was this pond anyway? Were there fish? Did anyone ever drown in it? Unlikely.\n\nHis ears twitched, turning back to focus on Scourge's noises as he opened his can and cleared his throat. As he actually started talking Zonic couldn't believe his ears however. So he turned around to look at him with his eyes wide and his mouth agape. Was he drunk already? Imagining things? Or had Scourge really just told him multiple times that he wasn't so bad. That he'd been ready to die but that he was good with being alive now. Scourge's honesty took him so off guard that he was legitimately speechless for half a minute.\n\nEven though his last sentence weighed heavy on him. Yeah. Once he was healed things would change, no doubt. He'd try to get rid of the collar at any cost. He'd try to escape. He'd fight.\n\nThe thought that Scourge might succeed had crossed his mind. It wasn't a good thought. And he didn't like the painful sting it caused in his chest.\n\nSo instead of talking he turned back to the pond and downed the entire rest of his beer. He wanted another. \"You can't stay here forever... I guess.\" He said quietly. For a moment he was tempted to throw the empty can into the pond, but in the end he got back to his feet and threw it into the trashcan next to the bench. He took a second can of beer from Scourge's little stack of cans. Even though he'd initially only wanted to drink one. Forget that.\n\n\"You're not so bad either.\" He said before quietly groaning as he let himself fall to the ground next to the pond again. \"You're an asshole and a criminal. I shouldn't think the way I think. I want to see you run. I know you can't with that stupid collar. I wish I could take it off. But you'd leave. And I don't want that either.\" He downed the second can of beer in on gulp, feeling the alcohol's heat in his throat, settling in his stomach.\n\nHe groaned, falling backward into the grass, looking backwards at the trashcan, trying to toss the second can into it from this position. Obviously he failed and glared at the can for a moment before turning his head to look at Scourge, upside down. \"If you could go wherever you wanted... where'd you go? I promise if you -manage- to escape from me... I won't chase you. The case 'Scourge the Hedgehog' will be taken from me, no doubt. And if I'm unlucky, my police badge, too. At least for a while. So you can tell me.\" It was weird how calm he felt about this.\n\nWas he just confident Scourge couldn't escape? Or did he just not mind? After all he knew some part of him wanted to see Scourge run free, because he couldn't be. Or maybe it was just this weird surreal atmosphere in this tiny quiet park.\n\n“You just roll over and accept things so easily… you’re really weird.” He scoffed, his beer can was empty, placed on the pavement below and crushed beneath his feet. He liked the sound of the can caving in under him, it felt like a powerful blow, but really anyone could do it. He tossed the flattened aluminum at the trashcan without looking. It landed next to the trash but he didn’t care. “I can’t really figure you out… but I’m guessing you’re a lot more merciful than the Sonic I’m used to. The way you’re… sympathizing with me just feels weird in a lot of ways.” He grabbed another himself, popping it open and taking a sip. “You really felt bad for someone like me, how? I’m not a good person, I’m probably one of the worst and yet you’re completely okay with the idea of being demoted or something for my sake.” \n\nSaying it outloud was probably weirder now that he was listening to himself speak. “You can’t expect yourself to just. Allow me to run away, right? What happened to being a stubborn asshole like the rest of us? It’s no fun if you put up no fight… besides, I think you know where I’d go. I don’t have a warp ring, but I’d definitely find one. I wanna go home. I wanna be back in my own zone, or maybe I don’t. Maybe I’ll make a new life here in this weird place. Not like anyone besides you lawmen know who I am.” He drank some more. He was quick to finish, now aiming to get buzzed. “I don’t know. I don’t really have a plan of action but i have aaaall the time in the world to think one up. Best be on your toes, cop.” He pointed at the other then finished his second can rather fast. He tossed it over his shoulder, leaning back as he opened another. Scourge had no plans to just stop drinking, tonight, he was gonna go as far as he could, until the dull aching in his chest ceased. Until the sadness and hurt left, till his mind was nothing but a whirl of confused thoughts that made no sense. \n\nHe wanted that, just for the night if he could. Sounded like the best option for now at least. He didn’t think being comforted, hugged or soothed would help much. He was pretty self-reliant and it wasn’t as though Zonic was obligated to cater to him (yet the cop did quite a bit). \n\n“I think you just wanna feel better about yourself. Like you have this peaceful lil corner of the world, everything goes well for you cause you’re such a good boy. It’s boring isn’t it? Dreary and getting old… you probably like all of this cause… it’s a thrill huh?” He squinted at the cop, trying to figure him out but the alcohol was starting to hit. His lips were beginning to lose their filter. “What’s that like for ya, huh? The way you just have to hide a convicted felon, the fact that you took it upon yourself to bring me to your place as if you could really nurse me back to health and make me all nice and proper… Did you think that’s what would happen or…? I don’t get your pity… I just don’t get you.” He stared at his third can. The contents inside filled him just a little more, edging on the brink of a buzz, it felt good. “In a perfect world, maybe this would be like those shitty romance dramas. You got your first kiss, your first fuck. You ‘saved’ me from getting beaten to death in prison and my thanks and appreciation spins into some weird form of admiration and love, right? I wonder if that’s how you see things. As if there’s always a good way for things to come out, but not always. Not everyone can be reformed. Not everyone’s capable of being a good person, shouldn’t you know that better than anyone?” \n\nHe wasn’t sure where he was going with this, it was just whatever came to mind. \n\n“You’ve -seen- how horrible people can be. You probably know the truest extent of what makes a person -evil-. Ha, I wouldn’t be surprised if I quality… Monsters are a thing, and you referred to the guys in prison as such. Why aren’t I like them? I… I’m not sure what I’m even saying. This headache is still here but goddamn am I happy to be drinking at all.” He sighed, downing another huge gulp. He wiped his mouth and shook his head. \n\nZonic chuckled softly. \"No worries. You're gonna have to beat me unconscious before I let you run... and if I'm unconscious you won't find out how to release the collar. So you'll get your fight. But -if- you somehow manage to beat me... I won't chase you. That's all I'm saying.\" Scourge seemed to be getting more and more talkative the more he drank. And more honest too.\n\n\"The reason why you don't understand me is probably because I don't understand it either. But you're right... You're a thrill. I think I regretted saving you in the beginning but now... I don't know. Hah... you know the last time I drank beer was three years ago. The last time I went out at night before a work day was... never. I spent my life thinking that kissing was kind of disgusting. But then I admit I can be wrong sometimes. After all I never thought I'd hear you talk about romance, either.\"\n\nHe rolled on his stomach to look at Scourge properly, his head leaning on his hands. He was basically to Scourge's feet now that he'd rolled over. \"You're an asshole. Not a monster. I've seen monsters. I've caught criminals before that make all your actions look like a 3 year old's temper tantrum, no offense. I know a monster when I see one. And you're not like -them-. You know... Earlier today... in the kitchen. You know… you could’ve done anything to me… but you didn’t do anything bad. That was your chance to get some revenge against -me- you know? I thought about what you said to me during the first few days you were with me. And I'm working on getting Zobotnik out of business... And maybe... in the chaos of...changing management in prison... nobody would notice if a certain green hedgehog without an inhibitor collar took revenge... The camera feed would be turned off for about an hour... I mean I'd be there to supervise the change... And you could be in my car that day, I couldn't leave you in there so I'd have to take you into the prison with me. And you know how it is. It's a labyrinth. I might lose sight of you for a bit.\" Zonic mused.\n\nHe'd thought about this a lot. He, himself, couldn't kick those monsters' asses. But Scourge could. And tomorrow during his talk with Zally he would get that stone rolling.\n\n\"Unfortunately, that can only happen if I can trust you to come back to my side. Otherwise all I can do is change management and schedule a much more strict supervision. Up to you. -That- would definitely make me feel better though. In that particular case I -am- gonna use you to make myself feel better, yes.\"\n\nFor a moment he was lost in thought, staring at nothing. He felt woozy. His body wasn't used to alcohol at all and his tolerance was low. \"Give me another beer. I feel like getting drunk. Everything is upside down and wrong and surreal these days but at least life finally feels interesting again. Thinking about that all this is gonna end one day is depressing. I'm gonna get drunk, too.\" He sighed. His life would look even more plain and bleak after Scourge left his house. It made something inside his chest clench painfully.\n\nHe didn't want it to end. Even if it was difficult. Even if Scourge was awful company at most times. Even if he could hardly walk because the green hog was a brute.\n\n“Well, well well…” Scourge said, only to place the can down beside his foot. “Lookit you! Actually doing something, ehehe.” He tilted his head but then sighed. “Yeah I guess you got a point… I still do want that fight… though I don’t know what I’ll do when it’s over. I’d make a bet and say I could kick your ass even with this collar on but I’d be lying. I’ve never felt so goddamn powerless in my life thanks to this thing.. At least make it fair when it comes around.” \n\nHe thought back to earlier… the raw energy of the two of them losing themselves to the very feeling of sex. How odd it was to look back on that and feel just a little bit disgusted but also slightly okay with it. He was in between at this point but with the effects of the beer, he didn’t seem to mind much at all. He knew in his mind that he accepted it as just a moment of weakness, allowing his body to express itself by taking whatever was available at the time. Zonic was offering, he accepted. Only he went a lot further than even Zonic had planned… What did that say about him? Didn’t the cop ask him this exact question? He frowned a bit, it wasn’t something he felt needed too much thought… maybe he just wanted it all the way due to needing a real release, not just a measly blowjob… \n\nThis all would’ve been even nicer with a cigarette too, but Scourge was satisfied for now. He decided that maybe that topic was something for another time, but yeah, he was pretty nice to Zonic. He could remember how he was more than willing to keep going despite zonic’s cries of pain and begging for Scourge to stop. He had that intention to just make do with what he had, not even consider the other’s feelings or whatever. He -wanted- to be vengeful and terrible to Zonic like he had been treated in prison. But for reasons he didn’t totally understand, he just couldn’t. He was an Anti, against just about everything the Prime Sonic stood for, yet he had some kind of humanity somewhere in the cold core of his heart. It was an odd thing to discover, but he kind of appreciated hearing that he was no monster. \n\n“I do take offense to that… “ He picked the can back up again and finished off the rest, tossing it forward towards the pond. He hoped that it’d land in that perfectly still water, but missed it by a few feet. “You sound way better when you’re being honest. I can’t stand people that beat around the bush or lie right through their teeth, That’s my job.” He leaned down, tilting his head as he looked at Zonic with his eyes trying to search for something. He reached down, touch was still really weird at this time but he was the one initiating it so… maybe it’s be okay. He cupped Zonic’s cheek for a second, thumb making small circles on the soft, peach skin. His eyes became half lidded, voice a lil lower. “I ain’t drunk yet but… a lil more and I might want somethin’ from yah. I got a lil thing for people sittin below me.” He lifted his hand, opening another beer and downed it as quickly as possible. “How often do people come over here during the night… “ \n\nScourge didn’t have much of an explanation why he was -okay- with this idea ofther than the influence of alcohol in him. The more he had the less he felt he needed to account for his actions. It was late, no one was out here, and with his legs spread wide enough, Zonic’s head made the perfect fit. \n\n“You wanted to try that again… maybe if we get drunk enough, you can.” He mumbled, His four can had gotten him pretty tipsy for sure, but he wasn’t done till Zonic was up there with him. “You say I’m a thrill… I’ll show you a thrill.” \n\nZonic wanted to say things. He was sure he did. He had words in his head that he'd wanted to say but today Scourge just kept doing things that came out of nowhere. First they had sex, then he... nevermind, then on this walk he was suddenly extremely honest, and now he was touching him? Gently, too. Even if it was only a brief moment the way he was looked at made his ears fold back.\n\nThere had been words on his mind. For sure. But everything he wanted to think or say was quickly replaced with a much more pressing topic. \"N-no.\" He cleared his throat, his voice sounded a little weird and the alcohol made him dizzy and warm. \"No one comes here at night... I don't think.\" He sat up on his knees and grabbed another can of beer. There was no way he was doing something that was -actually- against the law just because he was drunk, right? Right?\n\nInstead he should focus on talking. Yes. \"You just want me to be in pain while walking -and- talking tomorrow, don't you, your majesty?\" Yeah sure, riling Scourge up was gonna help him with his case. He'd wanted to say something entirely different. Like 'no way. That's against the law' or something along those lines. Instead he emptied his third can of beer, looking at the plastic bag ruefully. Was he some teenager discovering how much fun it was to be bad. \"Chaos you're a bad influence on me.\" He grumbled.\n\nZonic knew he was getting drunk. His alcohol tolerance was much lower than Scourge's thanks to the fact that he never drank. The air around them was cooling down but his body felt warm. He had to do something that did not involve him kneeling before Scourge. Right. He fought himself back up on his feet. Suddenly that task had gotten even harder. He swayed, his mind spinning. \"I should... either drink -more-, or nothing at all.\" He complained halfheartedly and staggered over to the pond to pick up scourge's can. He threw that one and the two next to the trashcan -into- the trashcan where they belonged. They couldn't make a mess of the park. Littering was against the law too.\n\nThat was it though. There was nothing else to do. He was gonna sit down on the bench next to Scourge, he thought, as he sat down on the ground in front of Scourge again. \"You know this...is against the law, right? P-public...eh...something.\" What were the words again? \"I think I should... s-stop drinking or I'll do something stupid.... again. You make me do too many stupid things. Like -that- morning... where I panicked and just... did this, without asking. I can't even properly apologize because it all feels like excuses.\" This topic was painful to talk about. He could still hear Scourge calling him a rapist.\n\n\"It's against the law...\" He mumbled. It wasn't quite clear if he meant public blowjobs, or blowjobs without consent. In the end both were against the law. Chaos he just remembered why he hated being drunk. Words just kept spilling out of him. This wasn't okay at all.\n\nThe guy was stalling hardcore and it was slightly annoying. Here Scourge was, offering to let this cop suck him off and he was collecting cans?? Sure, he wasn’t in the most clear place right now, tipsy from four, going on five, cans of beer but he knew what he was doing. The simple fact that he even offered should’ve been appreciated! Scourge wasn’t about to chase Zonic down though, he wasn’t going to push for this to happen. He was a lil too affected by the alcohol to do that for now, so he waited, leaning back with his legs spreading wider. He frowned, his eyes still following the blue hog till he finally sat down again. \n\n“I’m letting you… there’s a difference between then and now… suddenly you have a conscious??” He scoffed, but he could at least tell that Zonic did regret what he did… The cop was regretful of a lot of things lately, wasn’t he? Making so many bad choices, deep down he -wished- Zonic would regret allowing the sex too. It’d make actions like this a lot less easier to come by. “You just said so yourself… no one comes here this time of night.” He drank a little bit more, his can now emptied and tossed over towards the trash can. Lucky for him, it made it inside. \n\nThis sudden turn of events, he personally felt was just the booze talking. A place out in the open during night time sort of threw him into a thrilled mood. He had his fair share of public sex when the times called for it. He loved the idea of nearly getting caught of making a bit of a ruckus with people close by. He felt the adrenaline rush, the sheer excitement of doing wrong in plain sight. This wasn’t anything different, and the thought spurred out of nowhere… He couldn’t help being horny, and with how shitty today was as far as sexual things went after morning passed, he wanted to erase those bad memories, those terrible times where he was used and hurt. At least with Zonic, he had more of an uppoer hand… and he could be a little more rough. He bit his lip, thinking about getting another blowjob. He recalled how warm Zonic’s mouth was, how perfect his skills were even though he had only done this one time. It wasn’t easy to get that out of his head, and he knew it’d be a better thought than the nightmares. \n\nStill, Scourge didn’t feel the need to explain his reasons for his actions. It was the alcohol, that’d be his excuse the moment they were sober. No way was this because it was one of his kinks or he really liked Zonic sucking him off… nah, horniness and beer go hand in hand anyways. Scourge leaned forward, hand outstretched and soon placed behind Zonic’s head. He pulled the blue hog closer to where Zonis’ muzzle was smooshed against Scourge’s crotch. He bit his lip again, trying to contain a smarmy grin. \n\n“You look. Better. Down there.” He cooed, his voice lowering again. “Do it. I know you want to… and who cares if it breaks the law. You’re the only cop here… We don’t have to go all the way… I just want that snarky lil mouth choking on my dick, got it? You -did- refer to me as ‘your highness’ afterall… and Chaos be damned that’s kind of a turn on.” The pressure on the back of Zonic’s head didn’t lighten up at all. He kept him there, almost smothered in hopes that their position was enough to sway Zonic’s mind. “I can just stick it right in there the moment you open your mouth again… ya know, I’m sure you’ll eat it right up.” \n\nTBC...","writing_bbcode_parsed":"
CHAPTER XII

Zonic almost missed the Scourge's awful personality. But only almost. He followed scourge out of the house and to the sidewalk. "We have a park... that way. It's not far." He said, pointing the direction he remembered the park to be in. They walked slowly. Both of them having trouble moving. "That park sure is far away when you walk like this." He grumbled. For once his Sonic-typical impatience was showing. Walking this slowly outdoors was... not normal for him. He remembered the park being only the blink of an eye away. But at this speed it took them almost ten minutes to get there.

Maybe because they entered the store on their way there. It was a tiny store with a very bored looking store clerk who didn't even look up from his phone as they bought snacks and some cans of beer. Zonic had refused to buy any stronger alcohol. Beer was fine. He didn't drink alcohol usually but he could stomach one beer.

The park was small and quiet. There wasn't a soul out here. Just as they entered the lights flickered on. There was a small calm pond, a few empty benches with a nice view of the planet surface or the endless sky depending on which side of the pond you picked to sit down.

"This isn't bad. We should go out more often." He said quietly, following Scourge to whichever bench he picked, before handing him the little plastic bag filled with beer and snacks. Not without stealing one can of beer out of the bag first, however.

He'd been in this park a few times, but it was the first time he'd stayed. The bench wasn't really his thing though so he got up again, only to sit down at the edge of the pond, staring at the black water. "Can you swim?" He asked after a while. Popping his can of beer open. "Most Sonics can't."

Having beer and some snacks at night in a park was never his ideal way of spending his evening, but it was for this time.

Sure, he’d have opted to run, but the calmness of the night, the look of the sky around him, for a second time this week it actually captivated him. He sighed, watching the sky first, the stars were pretty nice…

“Swim…?

“You’re uh… not so bad. I guess I’m just giving you a warning now since… well, you’ve been...okay.”

Zonic didn't particularly -like- water. But he could swim, yes. He had to learn it. It'd been an awful learning process and he wasn't a good swimmer either. Well he could probably save someone out of water if a life depended on it. "I can... but I don't like water either." He said, still fascinated by the dark mirror-like surface. How deep was this pond anyway? Were there fish? Did anyone ever drown in it? Unlikely.

His ears twitched, turning back to focus on Scourge's noises as he opened his can and cleared his throat. Scourge's honesty took him so off guard that he was legitimately speechless for half a minute.

Even though his last sentence weighed heavy on him. Yeah. Once he was healed things would change, no doubt. He'd try to get rid of the collar at any cost. He'd try to escape. He'd fight.

The thought that Scourge might succeed had crossed his mind. It wasn't a good thought. And he didn't like the painful sting it caused in his chest.

So instead of talking he turned back to the pond and downed the entire rest of his beer. He wanted another. "You can't stay here forever... I guess." He said quietly. For a moment he was tempted to throw the empty can into the pond, but in the end he got back to his feet and threw it into the trashcan next to the bench. He took a second can of beer from Scourge's little stack of cans. Even though he'd initially only wanted to drink one. Forget that.

"You're not so bad either." He said before quietly groaning as he let himself fall to the ground next to the pond again. "You're an asshole and a criminal. I shouldn't think the way I think. I want to see you run. I know you can't with that stupid collar. I wish I could take it off. But you'd leave. And I don't want that either." He downed the second can of beer in on gulp, feeling the alcohol's heat in his throat, settling in his stomach.

He groaned, falling backward into the grass, looking backwards at the trashcan, trying to toss the second can into it from this position. Obviously he failed and glared at the can for a moment before turning his head to look at Scourge, upside down. "If you could go wherever you wanted... where'd you go? I promise if you -manage- to escape from me... I won't chase you. The case 'Scourge the Hedgehog' will be taken from me, no doubt. And if I'm unlucky, my police badge, too. At least for a while. So you can tell me." It was weird how calm he felt about this.

Was he just confident Scourge couldn't escape? Or did he just not mind? After all he knew some part of him wanted to see Scourge run free, because he couldn't be. Or maybe it was just this weird surreal atmosphere in this tiny quiet park.

“You just roll over and accept things so easily… you’re really weird.” He scoffed, his beer can was empty, placed on the pavement below and crushed beneath his feet. I’m not a good person, I’m probably one of the worst and yet you’re completely okay with the idea of being demoted or something for my sake.”

Saying it outloud was probably weirder now that he was listening to himself speak.

He wanted that, just for the night if he could. Sounded like the best option for now at least. He didn’t think being comforted, hugged or soothed would help much. He was pretty self-reliant and it wasn’t as though Zonic was obligated to cater to him (yet the cop did quite a bit).

“I think you just wanna feel better about yourself. Not everyone’s capable of being a good person, shouldn’t you know that better than anyone?”

He wasn’t sure where he was going with this, it was just whatever came to mind.

“You’ve -seen- how horrible people can be.

Zonic chuckled softly. "No worries. You're gonna have to beat me unconscious before I let you run... and if I'm unconscious you won't find out how to release the collar. So you'll get your fight. But -if- you somehow manage to beat me... I won't chase you. That's all I'm saying." Scourge seemed to be getting more and more talkative the more he drank. And more honest too.

"The reason why you don't understand me is probably because I don't understand it either. After all I never thought I'd hear you talk about romance, either."

He rolled on his stomach to look at Scourge properly, his head leaning on his hands. He was basically to Scourge's feet now that he'd rolled over. "You're an asshole. I might lose sight of you for a bit." Zonic mused.

He'd thought about this a lot. He, himself, couldn't kick those monsters' asses. But Scourge could. And tomorrow during his talk with Zally he would get that stone rolling.

"Unfortunately, that can only happen if I can trust you to come back to my side. Otherwise all I can do is change management and schedule a much more strict supervision. Up to you. -That- would definitely make me feel better though. In that particular case I -am- gonna use you to make myself feel better, yes."

For a moment he was lost in thought, staring at nothing. He felt woozy. His body wasn't used to alcohol at all and his tolerance was low. "Give me another beer. I feel like getting drunk. Everything is upside down and wrong and surreal these days but at least life finally feels interesting again. Thinking about that all this is gonna end one day is depressing. I'm gonna get drunk, too." He sighed. His life would look even more plain and bleak after Scourge left his house. It made something inside his chest clench painfully.

He didn't want it to end. Even if it was difficult. Even if Scourge was awful company at most times. Even if he could hardly walk because the green hog was a brute.

“Well, well well…” Scourge said, only to place the can down beside his foot. At least make it fair when it comes around.”

He thought back to earlier… the raw energy of the two of them losing themselves to the very feeling of sex. He frowned a bit, it wasn’t something he felt needed too much thought… maybe he just wanted it all the way due to needing a real release, not just a measly blowjob…

This all would’ve been even nicer with a cigarette too, but Scourge was satisfied for now.

“I do take offense to that… “ He picked the can back up again and finished off the rest, tossing it forward towards the pond. “How often do people come over here during the night… “

Scourge didn’t have much of an explanation why he was -okay- with this idea ofther than the influence of alcohol in him. The more he had the less he felt he needed to account for his actions. It was late, no one was out here, and with his legs spread wide enough, Zonic’s head made the perfect fit.

“You wanted to try that again… maybe if we get drunk enough, you can.” He mumbled, His four can had gotten him pretty tipsy for sure, but he wasn’t done till Zonic was up there with him. “You say I’m a thrill… I’ll show you a thrill.”

Zonic wanted to say things. He was sure he did. He had words in his head that he'd wanted to say but today Scourge just kept doing things that came out of nowhere. First they had sex, then he... nevermind, then on this walk he was suddenly extremely honest, and now he was touching him? Gently, too. Even if it was only a brief moment the way he was looked at made his ears fold back.

There had been words on his mind. For sure. But everything he wanted to think or say was quickly replaced with a much more pressing topic. "N-no." He cleared his throat, his voice sounded a little weird and the alcohol made him dizzy and warm. "No one comes here at night... I don't think." He sat up on his knees and grabbed another can of beer. There was no way he was doing something that was -actually- against the law just because he was drunk, right? Right?

Instead he should focus on talking. Yes. "You just want me to be in pain while walking -and- talking tomorrow, don't you, your majesty?" Yeah sure, riling Scourge up was gonna help him with his case. He'd wanted to say something entirely different. Like 'no way. That's against the law' or something along those lines. Instead he emptied his third can of beer, looking at the plastic bag ruefully. Was he some teenager discovering how much fun it was to be bad. "Chaos you're a bad influence on me." He grumbled.

Zonic knew he was getting drunk. "I should... either drink -more-, or nothing at all." He complained halfheartedly and staggered over to the pond to pick up scourge's can. He threw that one and the two next to the trashcan -into- the trashcan where they belonged. They couldn't make a mess of the park. Littering was against the law too.

That was it though. There was nothing else to do. He was gonna sit down on the bench next to Scourge, he thought, as he sat down on the ground in front of Scourge again. "You know this...is against the law, right? P-public...eh...something." What were the words again? "I think I should... s-stop drinking or I'll do something stupid.... again. You make me do too many stupid things. Like -that- morning... where I panicked and just... did this, without asking. I can't even properly apologize because it all feels like excuses." This topic was painful to talk about. He could still hear Scourge calling him a rapist.

"It's against the law..." He mumbled. It wasn't quite clear if he meant public blowjobs, or blowjobs without consent. In the end both were against the law. Chaos he just remembered why he hated being drunk. Words just kept spilling out of him. This wasn't okay at all.

The guy was stalling hardcore and it was slightly annoying. It’d make actions like this a lot less easier to come by. “You just said so yourself… no one comes here this time of night.” He drank a little bit more, his can now emptied and tossed over towards the trash can. Lucky for him, it made it inside.

This sudden turn of events, he personally felt was just the booze talking.

Still, Scourge didn’t feel the need to explain his reasons for his actions.

“You look. “I can just stick it right in there the moment you open your mouth again… ya know, I’m sure you’ll eat it right up.”

TBC...
","pools_count":1,"title":"Zonourge RP - CH.12","deleted":"f","public":"t","mimetype":"application/msword","pagecount":"1","rating_id":"0","rating_name":"General","ratings":[],"submission_type_id":"12","type_name":"Writing - Document","guest_block":"t","friends_only":"f","comments_count":"7","views":"180","sales_description":null,"forsale":"f","digitalsales":"f","printsales":"f","digital_price":""}
