A quick trip to the school clinic later and he'd be home-free. Simple. Pinch stopped in the hallway, looked left and right, and rubbed his forehead vigorously. Y'know, just in case they felt his forehead. He cleared his throat, tasting salmon from breakfast, and made a few guttural, fake forced coughs, to get his voice nice and raspy.\n\nHe knocked on the door and pushed his way inside. What Pinch didn't anticipate was who was the school 'nurse' that day. He locked eyes with the lucario secretary, who smiled and nodded, gesturing towards the examination room. Inside was the panther in question, Doctor Isaac Eris. Unfortunately for Pinch, he had a keen nose for sniffing out liars and fakers, especially when they stumble over their words during simple questioning.\n\nAnd ol' Pinchy did just that. The sharp yellow stare immediately bottomed-out his confidence and he mumbled his way through some explanation of waking up with chills and a cough. The doc strolled over and examined his throat, frowning. He felt Pinch's forehead. His brow furrowed even deeper and he began to ask the hard questions. Eventually, the story fell apart and Pinch admitted to the sham. He must've thought that honesty could score him brownie points and he could avoid having to explain this to the financial officer when his next funding meeting came up.\n\nIsaac didn't feel like they'd need to alert the administration, though, as long as Pinch wrote out an essay on why he would never pull this stunt again. To make matters worse for the kitty, the doc was finishing his check-up the old fashioned way: a thermometer in the butt to humble the student.
