Born of my incessant need to populate the world around my OC, Lina is the first of several new faces that will be interacting with the Prowler family. She's a cabbit (a cat/rabbit hybrid, if you somehow aren't familiar with the term). Despite looking as though she's just entering puberty, Lina is actually 16 years old... So why doesn't Lina have a last name, you ask...? Well, funny story about that. Well, not so much "funny" as "ridiculously brutal and tragic"...
When she was 5 Lina lived with her parents. Her parents were both very busy with business and had routinely left the kitten at a local daycare center run out of a trusted friend's house. There's a long story about these events I intend to write later, but the important part is the center was attacked by slavers and she, along with all the other cubs present, was cubnapped and sold into slavery. For years the group sold her and the others as child prostitutes, smuggling her into and out of various places around the world where she would be forced to satisfy whatever urges her clients may have... Finally, when she was 11, a relatively kind customer bought her from the group and moved her to the small town, but by then she had forgotten her old life and even her own name... The name Lina was given to her by the orphanage she was transferred to.
Years of sexual abuse took it's toll on the girl's personality and mannerisms. Over time, she grew to really enjoy sexual touches, no matter how gentle or rough, or from males or other females. She has become a pansexual, and is well-known in her high school for being "highly active". Much of the time, her clients took her in wild, underground parties and as a result she is now a prostitot, both figuratively and literally on occasion. She has become quite fond of raves; most of her nights entail designer drugs and anonymous sex, even occasionally actually whoring herself out when she's running low on cash... Now in her last (hopefully...) year of high school, Lina has befriended a certain black kitten who reminds her so much of herself...
Ultimately, Lina, and those connected to her, are the catalyst for most, if not all of the "noncon" ideas involving Jynx and Sara; if it looks rapey, Lina was probably at least indirectly involved in it. She's the corrupting influence to Jynx (as though she needed further corrupting) and the bane of Sara's attempts to maintain any amount of innocence. Also, she's full of surprises, mostly regarding
Lina was originally going to be Kris's "closer than sisters" friend back before I redesigned the Prowler family to what it is today. I had been looking for a place for her for a while and finally came up with this. Originally, she was a silver tabby, and I decided to keep the coloration and just make her a hybrid. I feel a little weird about those feet, but otherwise I love her redesign. You can definitely expect to see more of her, especially that painfully dark past of hers...
Oh, and fun fact: that lock she's wearing is actually a locket. Even she doesn't remember its significance, but it's the only thing she has from before she was enslaved and she's extremely attached to and defensive of it.
