Lingerie14: awesome, I had something I wanted to show you anyway, I'll bring it with me UE_ShadowCat: heh, that sounds ominous. Can I ask what it is? Lingerie14: hehe, it's a secret! Lingerie14:anyway I'll be over soon so you can see for yourself Lingerie14 has gone offline. Carol set her laptop on the bed beside her and sat up, the stream going on in front of her momentarily forgotten as she considered her girlfriend's words. It still felt a little strange to think that she had a girlfriend; before all this had happened she'd never even given any real thought to whether she preferred boys or girls, much less pursuing either. The two of them talked fairly constantly over the last week since the tournament; Linge (who apparently had embraced the idea far more readily than she had) frequently chatted with her over discord or through their game's message system at random intervals. But even so, they hadn't told anyone else about them yet or gone on a real date. Hanging out at the mall or at each other's houses was fine but it didn't qualify... right? Well, no point in worrying about that now, she reasoned. For now there was the more immediate question of what the girl was currently up to. She'd been uncharacteristically evasive when Carol asked her about this, whatever it was she was bringing with her. A part of her worried at the possibilities. But then this was Linge she was talking about; for all her eccentricities and despite her circumstances, the squirrel girl was one of the most innocent people she knew. Whatever it was couldn't possibly be that bad. And anyway Linge herself would be there soon enough The kitten shrugged off her thoughts and turned her attention back to stream just in time for the grand finals to start up. * * * The final match of the tournament turned out to be a marathon. The player in the loser's bracket had forced a reset after five straight games coming down to their final rounds and the second set was just as tight. The final game had just ended when she heard the doorbell ring. Carol smiled as she got up and walked over to her window. “It's open, come on up,” she called out to her friend below. Moments later, her own door opened and Linge quickly made her way over to her girlfriend's bed, tossing a backpack on the bed between them. “Carol, come check this out,” Linge said with her typical enthusiasm. That energy was a big part of what Carol really liked about the older girl. As she turned back from the window she noticed the squirrel girl staring at her. “Hey, I don't think I've ever seen you wearing panties before.” “Oh yeah, that. I, ah, was feeling a little chilly earlier...” Carol managed. She wasn't sure why, but despite the fact that she'd been bottomless in front of the other girl before, somehow it felt weird now that they were a couple. She hoped that Linge would accept the flimsy excuse and breathed a quiet sigh of relief when the older girl just shrugged before turning her attention back to the pack. Carol climbed back onto the bed next to Linge, who was herself now down to her underwear as well. The kitten's curiosity finally getting the better of her, Carol finally spoke out. “Okay, out with it. What's this big secret of yours?” In response, Linge reached into the pack, producing a small pile of magazines. Glancing at the titles, Carol's face immediately heated up. ‘Oh no, not her too…' Before her was what was unmistakably a porn mag; the fox kit on the cover couldn't have been any older than her. Even considering the girl was wearing a bikini in the picture, the title “Lolicon Furries” left no doubt to the contents. Other similar magazines featured older but no less provocative furs, men and women alike. “Awesome right?” Linge's voice cut in through her thoughts. The heat in her face must have been showing because the squirrel girl let a giggle pass her lips behind her expectant smile. “Oh, ah... yeah totally.” Carol finally managed. Inside her head she was in intense conflict with herself. This wasn't supposed to happen. She has always made a point of steering clear of perverts and such, particularly after discovering her own extended family was so depraved. Not that she hated stuff like that, it was just annoying; it seemed like she was the only person she knew that wasn't a massive perv. One of the things that had attracted her to Linge was that she hadn't seemed anything but innocent and that perception was dying before her eyes as she watched the older girl flipping through the magazine, subtly rubbing her thighs together. On the other hand, if she was being honest with herself, this was nothing compared to what her nieces were constantly bombarding her with whenever they saw her. And despite how new and weird this all still was, she found she really didn't want to call Linge out on this and risk hurting her feelings. She supposed, if this was the worst of the girl's secrets, she could grin and bare it for her sake. Once again, Linge shook her from her reverie, this time by pushing an ear bud into one of her ears. “What's this for?” she asked, genuinely confused. “To enhance the experience,” she replied, still smiling sweetly despite everything. “Just listen, you'll love this.” Without a moment's hesitation Linge turned on her player. Immediately her blush redoubled. This was going to be a lot harder than the poor kitten thought...\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t | \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
The awkward breaking of Carol's world continues... I never really meant for her to become quite as tsun as she is, but it sure is fun to mess with her for it. While this is far from the first time she's been exposed to sex (she is a Prowler after all), it's one of the only times she's forced herself to really take it all in. Hard to say at the moment if she likes it or not, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
In this earliest phase of their relationship, Carol is really going to have to learn quickly to compromise and grow together with Linge. It is encouraging though that she's so readily willing to put her partner's feelings before her own reservations though. It speaks to a much larger affection for the squirrel girl than even she can consciously comprehend at this point. Of course there's still the little matter of introducing this relationship to the corrupting force that is the rest of the Prowler family, but I'm sure she'll be fine... right?
So... it's only been 2 months to get something of value down on paper. Hopefully I can hang onto some of this momentum. There were so many storylines I wanted to work on before all this happened, not the least of which being this one...
