Draer asked about the ritual, and then did something sudden and surprising. He said that He'll organizes a hunt for those organs near to the place, where the ritual will be done.
Draer and I traveled to the location, and we were accompanied by his netherwulf pack. Our target was a trading town. A walled-up settlement, that is open for the day and allows traders to enter and exchange goods. A well-guarded place indeed, especially at nights, when the gates are shut and the guards are doubled.
However, we don't need to enter the town. The many herds of animals aren't entering the town, but guarded outside of it, and a little further away from the walls, so the townsfolk are spared the noise and the smell. The herds are not guarded that well, because usually only animal predators try to steal some food as a last resort, and the thieves have already learned, that it is extra hard to escape with the heavy stolen animals on the plain field until they reach the forest. The guards will easily chase them down on horseback, and make an example out of them.
But we aren't ordinary thieves, nor ordinary animals. We're beasts, monsters, and we're on the hunt! The netherwulves moved in and caused minor ruckus at several points, and the guards were distracted away from their posts. Draer and I were undisturbed, when we did the deed. We hunted down the targeted animals, collected their organs in my sack, that will keep them fresh until the ritual, and even managed to take a bite, when a slab of meat looked tasty and inviting. The distraction was so well, that by the time the massacre was detected the whole of us managed to make a huge lead on escaping with the loot.
We arrived at the edge of the forest, and looked up to the silhouettes of the trading town, where the lights are being lit and a line of torches were heading out from the gates. The guards gave chase on horseback, and very soon, they will know which way to follow us and will be on our back in less then an hour. We could have killed the guards and we are most likely strong enough to kill the pursuers as well, but we have better things to do, according to Draer...Lucky humans don't even know, that they are only spared, because it was only a hunt for animal organs, which are enough to work for this ritual.
Draer and I were panting, our bodies bloodied and sweaty, but in our eyes the satisfaction of a successful hunt. Draer growled something about "My netherwulf pack stays close and will watch out for the approaching guards, and will signal us, if we should make it deeper in the forest..."
Draer suddenly turned toward me, and gently pushed my body on the ground. I drop the bloody sack full of organs, and look on the Packleader's face. It has lust all over it! The carnal lust only a predator has! There is no outside world at this moment! It's time for our predator instinct to go on strong! We simply started to have sex right there right in that instance...
The netherwulf leader and the dragon priestess began to make heated wild sex, because Draer invited Killereye for...A dinner date! Dinner was done...time for the date to go on!
