and @Kadm", "writing": "[center][b][u][t]Chapter 1[/t][/u][/b][/center]\n\nThe young 8 year old feline was in class at the elementary school he goes to, the day seemed to drag on until finally the bell rang and he happily grabbed his bag, following the other cubs out of the classroom to get on the bus to go home. He realizes he forgot something in the classroom and immediately runs back to grab it, as he goes back into the hall he notices there’s a couple cubs his age picking on a much smaller cub, the older boys were holding a book just out of his reach as the smaller boy tries his best to reach it. “Gimme back my manga!” The small fox boy cried as the bully pushes him down to the floor. “Manga is lame, you can have your dumb book if you can take it from me shrimp!” The smaller cub started to sniffle and cry on the floor in defeat.\n\nThe calico stopped abruptly as he noticed the older boys with the younger cub, the feline perking his ears and the excited purr he had from the end of the school day cutting off as he hears the older boys teasing the younger and more vulnerable fennec boy. \"Hey! What are you doing?\" The calico asked angrily as he turns from the classroom he was headed from and walks over to confront the older boys. \"You leave him alone, and give him back his manga!\" The house-cat says loudly as he moves to put himself between the older boys and the cub. The boys' eyes widen having not expected anyone else after the first wave of cubs left for the buses, the smaller cub blinked up at the feline protecting him as he tried to wipe his tears. The boy holding the manga huffs and tosses it on the floor next to the small boy who immediately takes it and holds it to his chest protectively “Tch! Not even worth our time anyway...” The boys sneer before running off to get on the buses as well “Th-thank you...” The little fox cub sniffles as he looks up at the older feline.\n\nAs he watches the other two boys leave he growls at them for only a moment before turning back to the younger boy, noticing he's wearing a shirt big enough to fit an adult, making him look even smaller than before. He drops down onto one knee to offer a paw to help the boy up, smiling at him, though the younger cub could certainly see concern on the cats face. \"Are you alright? They didn't hurt you, did they? I'll make sure one of the teachers hears about that.\" The kitten says as he looks over the little fox. The small fox sniffles again and nods “Y-yea... I'm alright, and thank you again. They were teasing me about my manga, my blue hair and tail, and my shirt being too big...” He takes the older cub's paw with his small sleeve covered paw, the feline could feel him trembling a bit as the little fox looked up at him sadly, yet he could sense a hint of admiration in that small blue eye of his, with the other covered by his semi-long boyish and almost emo looking hair like some of the teen boys in the upper classes.\n\n\"He...hey, it's alright now...\" The kitten said as he feels the boy trembling, gently pulling him towards him to give him a quick, soft hug. \"Don't listen to them. They just wanted to pick on someone to feel better themselves. There's nothing wrong with you.\" The kitten said in a very mature voice, though it was only because his class had been taught about bullying already anyway. \"I'm sure the buses are gone by now, but we could walk home together if you'd like. Where do you live?\" The little cat asks, still gently holding the younger boy's paw. The little fox told the older boy where he lives and noted it wasn't too far from the school, maybe about a 10 minute walk, as he held his paw and hugged him the little fox's trembling lessened further and further, he finally looks up at the feline and shyly and asks “Umm, wh-whats your name?” The feline blushes a little bit as he realizes he hasn't even introduced himself. \"My name is Kaddie.\" The kitten says a little bit abashedly \"What about you? What's your name?\" He asked as he tried to stifle his blush a bit, leading the cub out of the school and towards his house, which happens to be just a few blocks down from his own home. “M-my name is Isaac, n-nice to meet you Kaddie” He said as he holds onto the older cub's paw tightly for security having never walked home before. He relaxes as his house comes into view, and notices there is no car in the driveway. “Daddy is working today... Umm, w-would you like to come in? Daddy won't mind if you visit i think.” Isaac says uncertainly, not having ever had anyone come over to his house before.\n\n\"This one's yours?\" Kaddie nods towards the house, his brow furrowing a little bit at the lack of a parent being home for such a young cub. \"I'd love to keep you company till he gets home,\" the calico says as he gives the boy's paw a gentle squeeze, following him towards the house. \"Maybe you can show me some of your manga.\" the kitten says excitedly. Isaac's ears perk up when he hears that and he smiles “Yea! I gots all kinds we can look at~!” He opens the door with a house key he grabbed from his backpack and leads Kaddie inside, who notices he isn't wearing shoes as his little blue tail flicks behind him lifting his shirt enough for the kitten to see them properly as the fox pads towards his room “My rooms over here Kaddie, come on in!” He says a bit excitedly, feeling more comfortable now that he's home. The calico quickly kicks off his shoes and sets them by the door, setting his backpack down as well as he follows the young fox into the house, looking around curiously as he heads towards the boys room, a smile on his face seeing the boy relax. \"I can't wait! I don't have very many,\" the kitten says with a giggle as he reaches the boys room. Isaac sits on the floor and sets down his backpack, placing the manga the bullies were teasing him with back with the rest on his shelf, Kaddie notices he has quite a few but not a whole lot, the little fennec smiled at him and churred happily, his one blue eye that's showing full of childish happiness. “You can look at mine anytime you want, I’m always getting more from the bookstore~”\n\n\"That's really nice of you,\" the kitten says with a smile as he comes in and sits down on the ground near the younger cub looking over the manga in his collection and smiling. \"So what kind is your favorite? I like the kind about cubs who gain magical powers and become heroes~.\" the calico says with a little giggle. “Hehe those are my favorites! I has a few of those I’m almost finished reading~” He exclaims happily, his tail swaying behind him slowly and contently. \"Let's see....\" Kaddie said as he gently runs his fingers over the fox's collection, eying through them before finally settling on one, grabbing it out of the stack. \"I started reading this series, but couldn't afford any more of them.\" the kitten giggles as he gently sets it on the ground in front of him and lies down on his belly. Isaac smiled and crawled over next to the older cub, shyly scooting closer to read with him while on his belly as well “I really like this one~ D-do you mind if I read next to you Kaddie?” The kitten blushed just a little bit as he feels the boy getting closer to him, but gives a little nod. \"Of course hehe, they're your manga.\" the kitten says with a smile as he gently slips his arm across the young fox's back to give him a half hug, letting it lie there. The little fox blushes a bit as well when he feels the older cub's arm over him, but lets out a soft churr denoting that he's comfortable with it, his little tail subconsciously resting on Kaddie's legs as he reads next to him.\n\nKaddie would start to purr softly at the feeling of having the cub pressed against him, the rumbling starting out low as he focused on slowly reading through the manga, making sure that his new young friend was ready before he'd turn the pages, his fingers subconsciously brushing against the fox's side through his shirt. As the reading went on Isaac churred softly and happily, the feeling of the older boy's fingers against his side making him feel safe and secure. He blushed softly never really having received such contact nor had been so close to anyone like this before, he wasn’t used to this feeling but it felt nice. Slowly the little fox got a bit braver and pressed up close to Kaddie's side, enjoying the closeness and the contact more than before. The feline starts to purr considerably louder as he feels his friend press closer against him, the young cub enjoying the warmth and closeness much as all cats do, though his cheeks do color almost imperceptibly as he feels a little flutter in his stomach. As he reaches the end of the manga, the kitten reaches out with his free paw to grab the next volume, not moving his other arm except to give a gentle squeeze to the little fox's side. \n\nThe young boy’s tail flicks softly against the older cub's leg, and for a reason he can't explain his heart flutters in his chest at the squeeze, as Kaddie grabbed the next volume he lets out a soft churr of happiness, relaxing against his side and getting more comfortable as he adjusts. That louder happy churr would make the kitten blush enough to be seen, he turns to the little fox smiling softly. \"I like your shirt. I bet it's really comfy~\" the kitten says with a smile as he opens the next volume and rubs his paw up and down Isaac's side, now a bit more conscious of the action. Isaac blushed softly at that comment, smiling shyly back at Kaddie and trying to avert his attention to the manga to hide his blush “Y-yea it is, I like to curl up in it at bedtime hehe” He replied shyly to the older boy \"Maybe next time I come, I'll have to bring one so we can dress the same when we read manga together.\" the calico said, giggling softly as he notices the younger boys blush. Not wanting to embarrass him, he turns back to the comic, reading along though the butterflies in his belly are getting more insistent. “Hehe that'd be fun~” The fox giggled, blushing a bit more at the thought that Kaddie would want to dress like him, his eyes still fixed on the comic. Only faintly could Kaddie feel the young fox's little heart beating under his paw while he rubbed his side, the boy’s heart beating a bit faster as time goes on with his new friend.\n\nThe little cat would wonder about the faint thing he was feeling for a moment, and then barely stops a confused meow as he realizes that it's the boy’s heart thumping gently, the kitten’s cheeks darkening further at the realization. \"S...so when will your dad be home?\" the kitten asks, concerned for what might happen if he leaves the cub alone. Isaac looked up at the clock “Daddy should be home soon, in an hour I think hehe~” He smiles as if he were used to his dad being gone at this time as he settles back down next to the kitten, resting his head in his crossed arms. Letting out a sigh of relief as he realizes the cub isn't left alone for too long, the kitten smiles as he returns his focus back to the comic, the fluttering not subsiding one bit as he gives the little fox another gentle squeeze. \"Maybe I can come over after school and keep you company. Or you can come over to my house some days!\" the kitten says with an excited giggle. Isaac’s ears perk up and he nods excitedly “Yea! I’d love to play with you more Kaddie~! Ya know... I’ve never had a friend before” He smiles shyly, fiddling with his paws a bit bashfully.\n\nThe kitten felt really sad for a moment hearing the little fox say that, a small quiver running through him as he stops reading and turns himself to pull the little fox close into a full hug. \"Well, we're definitely friends now, and we can play anytime you want,\" the kitten says with a big smile as he hugs the boy tightly against him and nuzzles at his forehead. Isaac blushes heavily as the older boy hugs him, his little heart leaping in his chest as he is embraced by you in a way only his daddy has done before, after a few moments he lets out a loud churr of happiness and hugs back tightly with his face buried in the young feline's neck. Kaddie moves his paws so that one of them is gently cradling the back of Isaac's head as the other continues hugging around his back, the kitten's purr rumbling loudly in his chest as he rests his muzzle against the little fox boy's head, the fluttering in his stomach almost overwhelming now. \"I...I like this,\" the boy says quietly as he holds the fox. Isaac nuzzles the kitten's neck softly and hugs tighter to him, enjoying the warm comforting embrace of his first friend, his small tail subconsciously curling with the older boy's “M-me too Kaddie”\n\nThe kitten gives a contented sigh at those happy words, his tail flicking about for a few moments before it settles with Isaac's. The feline leans down to give the side of his muzzle a quick loving lick. \"I wish we could stay like this.\" The kitten says almost without thinking as his heart starts to beat quicker in his young chest. Isaac blushes brightly at the lick, feeling his own heartbeat quicken in his chest, his ear flicking a bit hearing those soft words. Chapter 1


The young 8 year old feline was in class at the elementary school he goes to, the day seemed to drag on until finally the bell rang and he happily grabbed his bag, following the other cubs out of the classroom to get on the bus to go home. He realizes he forgot something in the classroom and immediately runs back to grab it, as he goes back into the hall he notices there’s a couple cubs his age picking on a much smaller cub, the older boys were holding a book just out of his reach as the smaller boy tries his best to reach it. “Gimme back my manga!” The small fox boy cried as the bully pushes him down to the floor. “Manga is lame, you can have your dumb book if you can take it from me shrimp!” The smaller cub started to sniffle and cry on the floor in defeat.

The calico stopped abruptly as he noticed the older boys with the younger cub, the feline perking his ears and the excited purr he had from the end of the school day cutting off as he hears the older boys teasing the younger and more vulnerable fennec boy. "Hey! What are you doing?" The calico asked angrily as he turns from the classroom he was headed from and walks over to confront the older boys. "You leave him alone, and give him back his manga!" The house-cat says loudly as he moves to put himself between the older boys and the cub. The boys' eyes widen having not expected anyone else after the first wave of cubs left for the buses, the smaller cub blinked up at the feline protecting him as he tried to wipe his tears. The boy holding the manga huffs and tosses it on the floor next to the small boy who immediately takes it and holds it to his chest protectively “Tch! Not even worth our time anyway...” The boys sneer before running off to get on the buses as well “Th-thank you...” The little fox cub sniffles as he looks up at the older feline.

As he watches the other two boys leave he growls at them for only a moment before turning back to the younger boy, noticing he's wearing a shirt big enough to fit an adult, making him look even smaller than before. He drops down onto one knee to offer a paw to help the boy up, smiling at him, though the younger cub could certainly see concern on the cats face. "Are you alright? They didn't hurt you, did they? I'll make sure one of the teachers hears about that." The kitten says as he looks over the little fox. The small fox sniffles again and nods “Y-yea... I'm alright, and thank you again. They were teasing me about my manga, my blue hair and tail, and my shirt being too big...” He takes the older cub's paw with his small sleeve covered paw,  the feline could feel him trembling a bit as the little fox looked up at him sadly, yet he could sense a hint of admiration in that small blue eye of his, with the other covered by his semi-long boyish and almost emo looking hair like some of the teen boys in the upper classes.

"He...hey, it's alright now..." The kitten said as he feels the boy trembling, gently pulling him towards him to give him a quick, soft hug. "Don't listen to them. They just wanted to pick on someone to feel better themselves. There's nothing wrong with you." The kitten said in a very mature voice, though it was only because his class had been taught about bullying already anyway. "I'm sure the buses are gone by now, but we could walk home together if you'd like. Where do you live?" The little cat asks, still gently holding the younger boy's paw. The little fox told the older boy where he lives and noted it wasn't too far from the school, maybe about a 10 minute walk, as he held his paw and hugged him the little fox's trembling lessened further and further, he finally looks up at the feline and shyly and asks “Umm, wh-whats your name?” The feline blushes a little bit as he realizes he hasn't even introduced himself. "My name is Kaddie." The kitten says a little bit abashedly "What about you? What's your name?" He asked as he tried to stifle his blush a bit, leading the cub out of the school and towards his house, which happens to be just a few blocks down from his own home. “M-my name is Isaac, n-nice to meet you Kaddie” He said as he holds onto the older cub's paw tightly for security having never walked home before. He relaxes as his house comes into view, and notices there is no car in the driveway. “Daddy is working today... Umm, w-would you like to come in? Daddy won't mind if you visit i think.” Isaac says uncertainly, not having ever had anyone come over to his house before.

"This one's yours?" Kaddie nods towards the house, his brow furrowing a little bit at the lack of a parent being home for such a young cub. "I'd love to keep you company till he gets home," the calico says as he gives the boy's paw a gentle squeeze, following him towards the house. "Maybe you can show me some of your manga." the kitten says excitedly. Isaac's ears perk up when he hears that and he smiles “Yea! I gots all kinds we can look at~!” He opens the door with a house key he grabbed from his backpack and leads Kaddie inside, who notices he isn't wearing shoes as his little blue tail flicks behind him lifting his shirt enough for the kitten to see them properly as the fox pads towards his room “My rooms over here Kaddie, come on in!” He says a bit excitedly, feeling more comfortable now that he's home. The calico quickly kicks off his shoes and sets them by the door, setting his backpack down as well as he follows the young fox into the house, looking around curiously as he heads towards the boys room, a smile on his face seeing the boy relax. "I can't wait! I don't have very many," the kitten says with a giggle as he reaches the boys room. Isaac sits on the floor and sets down his backpack, placing the manga the bullies were teasing him with back with the rest on his shelf, Kaddie notices he has quite a few but not a whole lot, the little fennec smiled at him and churred happily, his one blue eye that's showing full of childish happiness. “You can look at mine anytime you want, I’m always getting more from the bookstore~”

"That's really nice of you," the kitten says with a smile as he comes in and sits down on the ground near the younger cub looking over the manga in his collection and smiling. "So what kind is your favorite? I like the kind about cubs who gain magical powers and become heroes~." the calico says with a little giggle. “Hehe those are my favorites! I has a few of those I’m almost finished reading~” He exclaims happily, his tail swaying behind him slowly and contently. "Let's see...." Kaddie said as he gently runs his fingers over the fox's collection, eying through them before finally settling on one, grabbing it out of the stack. "I started reading this series, but couldn't afford any more of them." the kitten giggles as he gently sets it on the ground in front of him and lies down on his belly. Isaac smiled and crawled over next to the older cub, shyly scooting closer to read with him while on his belly as well “I really like this one~ D-do you mind if I read next to you Kaddie?” The kitten blushed just a little bit as he feels the boy getting closer to him, but gives a little nod. "Of course hehe, they're your manga." the kitten says with a smile as he gently slips his arm across the young fox's back to give him a half hug, letting it lie there. The little fox blushes a bit as well when he feels the older cub's arm over him, but lets out a soft churr denoting that he's comfortable with it, his little tail subconsciously resting on Kaddie's legs as he reads next to him.

Kaddie would start to purr softly at the feeling of having the cub pressed against him, the rumbling starting out low as he focused on slowly reading through the manga, making sure that his new young friend was ready before he'd turn the pages, his fingers subconsciously brushing against the fox's side through his shirt. As the reading went on Isaac churred softly and happily, the feeling of the older boy's fingers against his side making him feel safe and secure. He blushed softly never really having received such contact nor had been so close to anyone like this before, he wasn’t used to this feeling but it felt nice. Slowly the little fox got a bit braver and pressed up close to Kaddie's side, enjoying the closeness and the contact more than before. The feline starts to purr considerably louder as he feels his friend press closer against him, the young cub enjoying the warmth and closeness much as all cats do, though his cheeks do color almost imperceptibly as he feels a little flutter in his stomach. As he reaches the end of the manga, the kitten reaches out with his free paw to grab the next volume, not moving his other arm except to give a gentle squeeze to the little fox's side.

The young boy’s tail flicks softly against the older cub's leg, and for a reason he can't explain his heart flutters in his chest at the squeeze, as Kaddie grabbed the next volume he lets out a soft churr of happiness, relaxing against his side and getting more comfortable as he adjusts. That louder happy churr would make the kitten blush enough to be seen, he turns to the little fox smiling softly. "I like your shirt. I bet it's really comfy~" the kitten says with a smile as he opens the next volume and rubs his paw up and down Isaac's side, now a bit more conscious of the action. Isaac blushed softly at that comment, smiling shyly back at Kaddie and trying to avert his attention to the manga to hide his blush “Y-yea it is, I like to curl up in it at bedtime hehe” He replied shyly to the older boy "Maybe next time I come, I'll have to bring one so we can dress the same when we read manga together." the calico said, giggling softly as he notices the younger boys blush. Not wanting to embarrass him, he turns back to the comic, reading along though the butterflies in his belly are getting more insistent.  “Hehe that'd be fun~” The fox giggled, blushing a bit more at the thought that Kaddie would want to dress like him, his eyes still fixed on the comic. Only faintly could Kaddie feel the young fox's little heart beating under his paw while he rubbed his side, the boy’s heart beating a bit faster as time goes on with his new friend.

The little cat would wonder about the faint thing he was feeling for a moment, and then barely stops a confused meow as he realizes that it's the boy’s heart thumping gently, the kitten’s cheeks darkening further at the realization. "S...so when will your dad be home?" the kitten asks, concerned for what might happen if he leaves the cub alone. Isaac looked up at the clock “Daddy should be home soon, in an hour I think hehe~” He smiles as if he were used to his dad being gone at this time as he settles back down next to the kitten, resting his head in his crossed arms. Letting out a sigh of relief as he realizes the cub isn't left alone for too long, the kitten smiles as he returns his focus back to the comic, the fluttering not subsiding one bit as he gives the little fox another gentle squeeze. "Maybe I can come over after school and keep you company. Or you can come over to my house some days!" the kitten says with an excited giggle. Isaac’s ears perk up and he nods excitedly “Yea! I’d love to play with you more Kaddie~! Ya know... I’ve never had a friend before” He smiles shyly, fiddling with his paws a bit bashfully.

The kitten felt really sad for a moment hearing the little fox say that, a small quiver running through him as he stops reading and turns himself to pull the little fox close into a full hug. "Well, we're definitely friends now, and we can play anytime you want," the kitten says with a big smile as he hugs the boy tightly against him and nuzzles at his forehead. Isaac blushes heavily as the older boy hugs him, his little heart leaping in his chest as he is embraced by you in a way only his daddy has done before, after a few moments he lets out a loud churr of happiness and hugs back tightly with his face buried in the young feline's neck. Kaddie moves his paws so that one of them is gently cradling the back of Isaac's head as the other continues hugging around his back, the kitten's purr rumbling loudly in his chest as he rests his muzzle against the little fox boy's head, the fluttering in his stomach almost overwhelming now. "I...I like this," the boy says quietly as he holds the fox. Isaac nuzzles the kitten's neck softly and hugs tighter to him, enjoying the warm comforting embrace of his first friend, his small tail subconsciously curling with the older boy's “M-me too Kaddie”

The kitten gives a contented sigh at those happy words, his tail flicking about for a few moments before it settles with Isaac's. The feline leans down to give the side of his muzzle a quick loving lick. "I wish we could stay like this." The kitten says almost without thinking as his heart starts to beat quicker in his young chest.
