Parfait sighed as she unlocked her garage door after a late night of festivities. She felt quite sore from the long walk to the party, the dancing, and the long walk home. The last thing she wanted was to come in through the front door, make too much noise, and incur the wrath of her brother. So, in her proclivity to avoid drama, she stealthily made her way through her one-story home and tip-toed into the bathroom.
She sighed once again, but in relief, for her brother's room was at the front of the house -- far away from her bathroom. Good, now she could relax. She peeled off her garments and felt cool air touch her fur for the first time in 8 hours.
"Blech..." she muttered as she lifted herself on the counter enough to see her crazy-old-lady hair, "...Parfait, you're a mess."
She scoffed at her developing recesses under her eyes and tried to rub them away. "You look like a grumpy old crone."
A nice shower is what she needed and a nice shower is what she got.
In a great deal of time of her just standing there and enjoying the stream of droplets, she snickered at herself thinking aloud "You really aaaare a wet beaver, aren't you." (dam)
She shook her little rump a bit as if she was teasing somebody, but quickly remembered how much she hated the term "beaver". She let out a mixture of a grunt and a sigh, realizing just how tired she must have been for saying that.
Parfait opened the bathroom door after exhausting the water heater to the point where it was spitting out cold water. The steam that escaped that room was blinding in its intensity. "Whoo!" she exclaimed, "Much, much better."
She really needed to get out of the habit of talking to herself.
Parfait approached her bedroom with a towel wrapped at her waist. As she opened the door, little trinkets littered near her door were pushed aside as she was greeted by her warzone of a living space. She really ought to clean up her room sometime in the near 2 years. Oh well.
Engulfed by her exhaustion, she sought only to sit down and relax and obviously it did not matter where because she plopped down on her multicolored carpet. She then blindly felt around behind her for her headphones and iPod -- specifically -- her nighttime iPod. Nothing jarring about a little "trance" in the middle of the night.
Parfait found herself comfortably enthralled by the music blaring on her huge headset while she relaxed against the side of her bed, her head slightly bobbing up and down.
She half-smiled and thought to herself: "I wish every night could be as relaxing as this."
By the way! Bunny would like it to be known that one of Parfait's secret shames is that she nibbles on the wood of her bed when she sleeps. Sometimes it gets so bad that her unconscious self travels downward near the base of the wooden supports and she ends up plopping down on the floor and scaring the crap out of herself. :/3
Also, Parfait's room consists of many direct references to pictures mostly on Bunny's profile and the pictures of Parfait on mine as well :) it's also totally normal that Parfait is British and has a British flag postcard on her room. Totally normal. But at least she doesn't find humor in posting naked pictures of herself in her room c; <3
