Vera tends to get herself in odd predicaments with her propensity for accepting general compliments. If a boy tells her that her hairstyle or hair color or even her snout shape is pretty or cute or 'adequate', she completely melts.
With this, she bumped into a senior boy named James. Literally, she wasn't looking where she was going because she was changing the song on her iPod and she ran into him. Being casually nice, and after their little apologize-fest, James decided to compliment her weird eye colors. Of course, Vera gushed super hard at this and, without James even knowing, she was already his.
For the next few days he found her following him around, though not stalking, she would simply... figure out what his schedule was and go to talk to him during passing periods or lunch time. Of course, she would always just... appear and never have much to say because she was not much of a conversation starter.
James sort of found it charming... very strange, but still charming.
That and the fact that Vera was overeager to express her hourly-changing true love for him by giving a very wanting vibe. He decided he would indulge in her not-so-subtle passes and even went so far as to invite his sophomore lion friend, Bomani, to a little get-together of sorts.
Vera, with her ever-present desire to accommodate, decides to take James up on his sudden offer for what he described as "a fun little party". That's cool, she thought, anything to make her newest self-proclaimed boyfriend happy! She always loved to feel so wanted therefore she jumped at the chance even if James and Bomani wanted to do it in the abandoned locker room.
"Isn't that place supposed to be haunted or something?" Vera complained as they made their way through the soon-to-be-demolished west wing of their school. The boys paid her no mind considering... ghosts... come on.
At least they were able to find some lights that worked. Though, Vera did still think it was still creepy, at least it was far away from any faculty members. Or skeletons. Then again, she did think the area leading to the old coach's office was pretty creepy, but having these two boys with her did make her feel a tinge of safety.
Especially since she was sandwiched between them. XD
PS. Bunny hath proclaimed that the only way this was meant to end was either: a skeleton popping out of the locker or a Slenderman stalking them from the coach's office. We might've chosen both -- you guys don't know >w>
