When Keto was a pup, he expected to do great things. He expected to see the world and live a life of adventure. The fateful day that he was told he landed an apprenticeship as a mechanic working on the Flying Fang, he expected those dreams to come to true. Post-war Africa at the dawn of the age of flight surely had to hold the excitement and daring he had always craved. He expected danger, thrills and glory. Working directly under Kashra, one of the premiere, if eccentric, engineers in the world, he expected training like no other. Working along-side Radjin, a highly decorated, fighter ace from the Great War, he expected to learn how to handle the very flying beasts that would dirty his paws and cover his muzzle in grease day in and day out.
Most of all, as he settled onto his bunk after a long day of work on the Fang, in the small crew quarters in their hanger, he expected to finally get an opportunity to finish his 1920 Shop Notes edition of Popular Mechanics. The two canines who appeared through the bunkhouse door, however, had other plans.
Keto didn’t pay them much heed as they peeled off their clothes; Kashra removed his oil-splattered jumpsuit as Radjin took off his ever-present flight jacket. He never seemed to mind the pup watching from the corner of his eye, secretly idolizing him from hidden behind the lifted magazine. The grey wolf lifted his shirt off his chest, exposing the slight pudge of his once military-toned belly.
But they weren’t preparing for bed. No, they had expectations of their own for the boy. Keto laid there, dumbfounded as the two approached him. They expected him to hold still and not protest as they shucked his boxers off his legs, discarded the magazine from his paws and flipped him onto all fours. With only a whimper, Keto opened his muzzle and lifted his tail like a good boy, just as they expected. And after the wolf pilot in front of Keto grunted and made a mess of young dog’s muzzle, he growled at the shepherd to hurry up, because he expected that tail next.

The comic takes place in the 1920's, in the Saharan desert, in Africa. Kashra is the engineer, Keto is the apprentice mechanic, and Radjin is the pilot. Their plane is called the Flying Fang.
It's about time Keto get some attention. ;3
