"Glass Triad" is actually a three-part story: "The Doll", "The Three-Ring Circus" and "The Opera", and it's the most developed and written AU so far (its draft already has about 50k words). The big thing that I hope will be posted one day... after I finish the first part of AtE fic.

Pairing: Aidan/Jerald, Cosmic/Aidan
Notes:
- Aidan is the protagonist here. It's his "redemption arc".
- Despite the fact above, he is still an asshole and thus suffers a lot.
- Jerald is an asshole too, but he changes on par with Aidan.
- Cosmic is an alien version of Sonic that is 3k years old, he can transform and lay eggs… into someone.
- Shadow and Amy here are Cosmic/Aidan kids.
- IMPORTANT: spoilers for the ending of the first part of AtE right from the beginning.
Description:
The main thought behind this AU's existence was: "Is there a way to make Aidan a character you can empathize with?" ...Although it started with the another thought: "How can we make this bastard suffer even more?" and suddenly it lead to a big story with a ton of characters and subplots that follows Aidan as he grows up both in age and as a person: gets what he deserves, changes his ways, obtains maybe a bit strange but real family, loses almost everything during a civil war... learns to live on with a small fractions of hope, has it all settled down and finally... dies when his time comes.
This is a really important story for me since I didn't even plan to get attached to Aidan due to his role in AtE, but in this AU he started to shine with new colors and even if he's still not a very good person, it feels like a true "redemption arc" for him.

Description:
It's the world where the Empire gives full rights to Grays and where Chromes are ones to be oppressed. Due to it a lot of roles got reversed and characters got different bios and as a result - motives and ways to act. No more evil maniac Aidan - now he's a victim of the system and its violence, - no more embittered and cruel Jerald - he's a soft and naive boy who knows very little about the reality and what the Empire does to Chromes. There's even Shadow who is a villain and is the one that he could become during SA2, and now Mobius invades Empire's lands.
This AU is full of soft moments, fluff and cozy sweaters... even if the world around is burning down.
