Had to make a new ref for this bastard cause old one wasn’t that… *intimidating*.
Plus dropped some old sketches with him.
One day I will update other two refs. (Or at least one - for Sonic)

With every scene I add to my draft where Aidan appears I’m getting scared of him more and more, heck. Good thing that I don’t need to write from his POV and go deep into his twisted thoughts…
Aaanyway! Aidan is the main villain for the Part I of Among the Enemy story. He does pretty nasty and weird shit, but most of it will stay behind the scenes and will be purely mentioned.
(But if I ever get to Prequel - there will be more details about all the *bad* side of those three months Shadow spent around him. Just because I want to make myself suffer, ooff.)
I tried to include all the significant info to the ref sheet itself, so it could feel a bit crowded… That's why I will expand it even more here x’D
- “The hedgehog?” is with a question mark since it’s not quite clear if alien hedgies are actually hedgehogs or not. They do look like ones, but *are they*?
- Aidan’s design specifically was made to be pretty tall: from the real height to the ears’ length and of course to the quills “style”. All to show that dominance towards others.
- The sleeves thing. Yes, it’s very rare to see him without those, but again, it’s not clear for others why.
- While Aidan is indeed pretty fast to the point he can even give Sonic some challenge (on the short run) - he can’t keep that speed for long and it mostly just speeds up his reaction.
- “Plenary powers” are both on the legal side of things (since he’s the one who decides how and when the invaders “army” attacks and have the full control on the ship) and, well, also the *other* side too - cause you kinda can’t say no to the person who can literally kill you with zero consequences if you won’t obey. Not like Aidan uses that side much (he has very high standards for his “toys”), but he easily can pick some “not so competent” crew member if he is in a torture mood and there’s no prisoners around.
- No matter how cruel he gets, Aidan will always smile (sometimes it’s truly terrifying). But if for some reason he is not… Let's just say - you don’t want to see him in his serious mood.
And some trivia stuff, that didn’t fit to the ref:
- Aidan is 22 years old.
- He is pretty good with knifes and any other short-range cold weapon.
- Aidan is a chemistry fan and very often uses various self-made chemicals and drugs in his “games”. No, he doesn’t take them himself.
- Despite not looking as a strong opponent, he shouldn’t be underestimated. You can’t get to the Commander rank without an effort and at least some abilities. And for now you haven’t seen them all.
