} ], "description": "Every few months or so, the Splatfest rolls around. And every time it does, me and Krissy team up to take on the world. We've become so dedicated to our craft that we set apart time in our schedule solely to focus on the event. We save up enough rings for snacks to eat and sodas to drink so we don't have to cook or anything. I put my second in command in charge of any bounties that come in at Returner HQ, make sure I don't have any scenes to film for Batty Blade for that week and if so, try to get them done in advance before the event. A lot goes into our time splatting n00bz on the battlefield.\n\nHowever this Splatfest, we had it DOWN, because Krissy had a bit of an idea to make sure our focus was never shattered. Mainly because it's steeped in a bit of reality. A lot of the stuff going on here is actually also going on with me and Krissy IRL. We did have a killer run on Night 1 of the Splatfest. We are talking about starting a pro team. And to top it all off, these pics were worked on WHILE we were wrecking shop in the Splatfest. It was the perfect storm of inspiration. I do want to thank Krissy from the bottom of my heart for being so patient with me while I double wielded last night, making these poses and still pulling my weight for the team.\n\nYou might also notice that Keryo has a new addition to his design. And truth be told, it's been a long time coming. Gonna be updating his ref sheet very soon.\n\nAlso, this set actually got me to cry, mainly because it was the first time EVER that a pose I had in my head came out EXACTLY how I envisioned it on the first try. I didn't have to search for workarounds, or do post editing. It all came together exactly how I pictured it in my head. And I couldn't contain my happiness. So I hope you all enjoy these pics, because in my view, it's the best photography work I've done in the 5+ years I've been doing this. We've become so dedicated to our craft that we set apart time in our schedule solely to focus on the event. We save up enough rings for snacks to eat and sodas to drink so we don't have to cook or anything. I put my second in command in charge of any bounties that come in at Returner HQ, make sure I don't have any scenes to film for Batty Blade for that week and if so, try to get them done in advance before the event. However this Splatfest, we had it DOWN, because Krissy had a bit of an idea to make sure our focus was never shattered.
