And when I complain to a teacher or another figure of authority, they mostly pat my head and said, “Being smart is not all that good buddy”, and leave it at that… I am starting to think maybe everyone else is the weird one by not questioning it!\n\nThen I realize that I will never get an answer and will probably drive me insane… What can I do? Nope, the instant an ability is used for selfish reasons or unwarranted actions, AUTHORITY is revoked completely, and a new individual needs to be hired to fill in the empty position.\n\nThe Founders truly thought of everything. AUTHORITY is granted to those who wish for the well-being of our world and the community. If anyone goes against that, the consequences are swift and dangerous!\n\nSomeone who has been granted AUTHORITY and then is stripped of it for abuse of power is blacklisted everywhere! Their life is kind of over at that point…\n\nAUTHORITY is supreme, and one of the people who have that power is my caretaker Kon.\n\n“If you break another window, I will make you clean it up yourself and forced you to pay for it!!” Kon said, reprimanding Mako again for fighting inside the house. Mako has invited everyone in our classroom to fight him in our home. Kon is fine with constant fighting, but Mako gets way too rough for no reason!\n\nToday, he threw a girl out of the window so he could escape from her body-scissor! Mako’s growth is so high, it wouldn’t surprise me.\n\n“If I didn’t have AUTHORITY, what would stop you from bullying or treat Julian like your sex toy then?” Mako paused at that. Indeed, it is a scary thought.\n\nI am powerless against Mako. If he decides one day to just torture me or kidnap me, then that’s it. AUTHORITY is unbeatable, and as a caretaker, he can unleash that AUTHORITY to protect me and Mako from any harm that is deemed necessary.\n\n“T-then… maybe I should get AUTHORITY, too. Then you couldn’t boss me around” Mako said silently, but Kon heard him clearly enough.\n\n“You?! The brat who breaks every window and furniture in our home for something as ridiculous as rough-housing?! You, who is already in every teacher’s naughty list?!” Mako got flustered and looked like he is about to cry! Kon didn’t need to say it like that!! Mako knows when he is doing something wrong, he probably feels a little bad about it.\n\n“If anyone other than me gets to have AUTHORITY, is probably Julian. Clever kid like you should pursuit it” Kon said, which left Mako stunned and me blushing… I guess there is one thing I am kind of better than Mako.\n\nLeaving that incident behind, there is something far more present in my life, something that I consider to be the worst thing in this whole world…\n\nThe most radical and unfair rule made by the Founder…\n\n6)\tTalent and muscle growth is all decided at birth! Mako, according to our gym teacher, is 1/1000 in terms of fighting Talent! He is quick witted, smart in a fight, learned the fundamentals of a few brawling techniques from Kon and from our gym teacher.\n\nMost kids my age does learn how to throw a punch and a kick properly. On the other hand, Mako is already learning advance martial arts techniques with kids two years older than the rest of us…\n\nAnd he isn’t the only one. I have come to the realization that I am one of the weakest kids in my class. Even the girls, who are more about skill than muscle, are stronger than me!\n\nI was born smart, not strong, I get that. But it is still unfair!! I really, really want to be a good fighter!\n\nMy teachers have all noticed this, and while some have asked me to give that up, a few others simply said that I have to be patient.\n\nTalent and fast growth allow children to reach their potential faster than most.
