One Tail To Another

Chapter 3:
Three's a Crowd

Last time we left off, Chucky Choo and Leilani went on their first date; it was successful.  Some time later, Chucky and Leilani have arranged for their next date.

Chucky: -knocks on Leilani's door-
Leilani: -answers the door-  Hi!  You're here!
Chucky: Yep!  Ready for our date?
Leilani: I sure am!  Today, we're going to the tiki bar I work at.
Chucky: Are you sure?
Leilani: Don't worry.  It's my day off.  Let's go.
Chucky: Alright.
Leilani: I'll lead the way.  -heads out-
Chcuky: -follows her-
-they make it to the tiki bar-
Bartender: Aloha, Leilani!
Leilani: Aloha!
Bartender: And who is this?
Leilani: This is Chucky Choo.  My boyfriend.
Chucky: -blushes-  B-boyfriend?
Bartender: Well, he is quite cute.
Chucky: Ummm...thanks, I guess.
Bartender: Well, he's welcome here.
Leilani: -sits on a stool-
Chucky: -sits on the stool close to Leilani's-
Bartender: So, what would you like?
Leilani: The usual.
Bartender: Alright.  And you?
Chucky: I'll have a shot of sake.
Bartender: OK.  Coming right up!  -starts preparing the drinks, then serves them-
Chucky: -drinks his sake-
Leilani: -drinks her cocktail-
Chucky: Uh oh.
Leilani: What?
Chucky: Nature's calling.  Be right back.  -heads to the bathroom-
Leilani: -continues sipping her cocktail-
A big, muscular male dragon sits on the stool Chucky was sitting on
Male dragon: Hey, Leilani.  How's it going?
Leilani: -dryly-  Oh.  Hi, Don.
Don: You here alone?
Leilani: As a matter of fact, no.  I brought a date with me.
Don: Oh, yeah?  Where is he?  Did he ditch you?
Leilani: No, he went to the bathroom.
Don: Alright.  So.....whaddaya say we get outta here?
Leilani: -scoffs-  Like I'm going anywhere with you!
Don: Come on, babe!  -grabs Leilani's hand-
Leilani: No!
Chucky: -comes out of the bathroom, sees Don harrassing Leilani-  Hey!  -approaches Don, taps his shoulder-  Excuse me, but she's with me.
Don: -tunrs around, sneering at Chucky- You're Leilani's date? -laughs-  Now I've seen everything!
Chucky: You want to fight, huh?  -shows his fists, ready to fight-  I'll teach ya!
Don: -scoffs-  Get lost, worm.  -flicks Chucky, knocking him over-
Leilani: Stop it, Don!
Don: -turns around, grabs Leilani's arm-  You're coming with me!
Leilani: -gets angry-  No...I'm...NOT! -breaks free of Don's grasp, uses martial art moves to beat up Don, then she throws him over her shoulder-
Don: -leaves the bar, crying-
Chucky: -was watching the whole thing, his eyes were widened and his mouth was hanging open-
Leilani: -turns to Chucky, offers him her hand-  You OK?
Chucky: Wow!  That was amazing! -grabs Leilani's hand, letting her help him up-
Leilani: Oh, it was nothing.
Chucky: Are you kidding?  You were great!
Leilani: You really think so?
Chucky: Yeah!
Leilani: -blushes-  No one's ever said that to me before.
Chucky: I really mean it.
Leilani: -gazes into Chucky's eyes-
Chucky: -gazes into Leilani's eyes-
-then they look away, blushing-
Chucky: Umm....shall we leave?
Leilani: Yeah...
-they both leave the bar and head back to Leilani's house-
Leilani: Well, good night, Chucky.  I'll see you later.  -closes the door to her house-
Chucky: -sighs-  Oh my god.  I love her.  -stays quiet for a few seconds-  Tomorrow.  I'm gonna tell her the truth.  -slithers away-
