The name of the group was Foxtale Productions but like every single other thing I try to do that takes some kind of daunting process, it never went anywhere. Mostly because none of my friends were interested... and I just don't want to do this alone, it makes me feel like the work is meaningless even if I tell myself it's a WIP. Art is much more manageable an ambition for me because each picture feels like a piece of a whole and people can see and enjoy completed work without me feeling like there's some lacking aspect in the gameplay or looking for bugs to fix. I wouldn't mind putting up with all the aches and pains of learning to code something, I just don't want to do it alone but I always end up doing that, alone, with nobody to talk to about it, nobody to ask for help, nobody to bounce ideas off of that knows and understands, nobody to show interest in my work and my progress beyond the tiny bit of appreciation any average person would give work to anything that doesn't understand what's actually involved in doing it. It's not that I fault people for not fully comprehending all the time and effort I put into my art or attempts at programming, it's just that I wish I had someone to work with that knew what they were looking at and when they told me it looked good, I could feel like I got an educated opinion on it. Maybe I should look for someone on the GMC to make games with, but I have very specific ideas and I doubt anyone would be interested in them. I'm most likely to get a bunch of retarded 12 year old kids that are only interested in shooters and 3D games whereas I'd like to make games that are more original (or at least less overdone) and a lot less depressing. It's no secret few people have my gaming preferences so I'm about as likely to find someone who cares about my direction as I am to find a grain of salt in a sandbox.","description_bbcode_parsed":"A little pixel art I did when first learning some pretty useless GML tricks like how to make things move when things were clicked on, etc. I guess it's useful in some object-oriented logic system but I'm not that complex a thinker and I'm starting to wonder if programming of any kind is a lost cause.

I say this because this little guy was supposedly the mascot of an indie company I wanted to start - which was basically me and some friends trying to learn GML.
