Logging onto his blog from the tablet his father gave him last Christmas, Aiden scrolled through the assortment of pictures and posts he had put up, stopping to read over any comments he had missed. There weren't many new ones - he always tried to reply to them - so it was more of a matter of strolling through memory lane. For the past year and a half he had dutifully maintained his online journal from his time in Singapore, his family having moved there for his father's new job at the time. Now that his dad had received another promotion, it was time to move again, this time to the States, and away from the life they had made for themselves; Aiden was going to miss this life. Coming to live in the foreign country, the young tree kangaroo had been introduced to a wickedly new concept of living life to the fullest, namely, purposefully gaining weight. It was a slow process at first as a combination of nerves, fear and an unconditioned palate for the local cuisine kept him from diving right into this new way of life. Unsure of how far he originally wanted to take this idea, he had set up a personal journal on his computer tracking a daily food journal, his thoughts on his softening body as well as weekly photos. His classmates had quickly noticed the growing marsupial amongst them and wasted no time in giving their own thoughts. The initial reaction had been mostly curious, though after a few inches were added to Aiden's middle, the behavior of his classmates divided between snide and encouraging. Localizing himself with his new friends, Aiden was encouraged to take a stand for himself and post his progress online as a way to say "I don't care what anyone else thinks." Hesitant at first, it took only a few weeks for him to find himself surrounded by support and encouragement from people he had never met. Purposefully, he had never mentioned that he was only twelve years old on his blog. If his dad and other relatives were anything to go by, he knew his species was generally considered short and youthful looking. Eight months after starting his blog he had gained half his starting weight to his frame and had built a faithful following of furs online who lent their praise to the gainer 'roo as well as a number of tasty and high calorie recipes. All of that weight had settled on him quit evenly as not only had his stomach ballooned out but his thighs had thickened, arms swelled up, and his rear became a bit better padded. It was heaven for Aiden though and the only disappointment came when his body had hit a plateau at eighty-one kilos. It was only a few weeks after reaching his summit that he received the news they would be moving again. Tapping the touch screen, he wrote a brief message of what was going on and that he'd be inactive for a while as he settled into his new home. Tossing the tablet aside, Aiden moved over to his closet and began packing clothes. Sitting the back of the class, Kazan took out his school issued laptop and opened the teacher's drop box, turning in his homework he had finished just this morning. It was still twenty minutes before classes began for the day, not even the teacher was in the room yet. Accustomed to this early schedule, the young wolf used the solitude to check up on the going's-on of the internet: news for upcoming video games, some forums he went to and lastly, after checking the clock, his favorite blog. Angling his posture so no one would see his screen, he opened the website and gave a quick scan for anything new. The exotic character he internet stalked would often put up weekly updates of his "progress," showing before and after pictures. The tree kangaroo in the blog was beautiful and terrifying to him and Kazan would give anything to spend a day with him. Don't be stupid, he would often tell himself after fantasizing this. He's probably like twenty something years old and lives in some huge city. He wouldn't want to hang out with some kid... Still, it was fun to think about hanging out with him and feeling how soft his belly would be, watching how much he could eat and -maybe- the skinny wolf would have enough courage to feed his idol. Shaking his head to clear it, Kazan scanned the blog for an update, ears dropping as there was no photographic update. Scrolling the top of the page, he found a written update from last Friday instead: "Hey everyone, good news and bad news! Bad news is no update this week! :p Sorry to disappoint but I'm going to be moving to America! It's going to take a while to settle in but I'll let you know when I'm finally ready to update the journal. Anyone have suggestions for awesome restaurants, let me know! Ears perked upright and tail wagging at breakneck speed, Kazan couldn't remember the last time he was this excited. His internet idol was moving to his country and narrowed the distance between the two of them significantly. Maybe he would move to the next state over or maybe to the same state! He couldn't even dare to hope the tree kangaroo from the blog would move to his town but the possibility was now there! The five minute warning bell rang, starting him so much Kazan nearly forgot to clear his browser before putting his laptop away. It was only a few seconds later before the teacher walked into the room, nodding at the young wolf before going to his desk. Today could not go wrong. "Kazan, could you come up here a moment," the middle aged raccoon called out. Tucking his backpack under his desk, Kazan slowly walked to the front of the class, wondering what his teacher wanted. Smiling encouragingly, Mr. Daniels leaned forward. "I have a favor to ask, Kazan. We have a new student starting today and I want to know if you can show him around the school, be his study buddy, help him out if he needs it? He's moved here from Singapore and I want to make sure he feels welcomed here. Think you can do that for me?" A blush lined the inside of the wolf's ears, turning the pink flesh red as he nodded slowly. "I think I can do that Mr. Daniels... Does he speak English though? I thought Singapore was in like China or something." Patting his shoulder, the raccoon smiled again. "Don't worry, I've been told his English is very good. You shouldn't have a problem understanding each other." Nodding at that, other students started to file into the classroom and Kazan went back to his seat. Well...It's still a good day. Maybe the new kid is pretty cool? He thought. Digging out his textbook, Mr. Daniels stood up and started roll call, stopping midway through as a knock sounded from the door. One of the secretaries from the office stood in the doorway, smiling at Mr. Daniels as she whispered to him. Stepping aside, the new student walked into the room and stood beside the raccoon teacher, gaze directed at the adults with his ears perked towards the rest of the class. A few stifled giggles came from the students in front of him, along with a number of whispers, but Kazan was the only one to gasp. It was impossible...he couldn't be the same but the resemblance...no, it was impossible! Mr. Daniels thanked the secretary and put a paw on the tree kangaroo's shoulder. "Class, we have a new student joining us. Do you want to introduce yourself?" he directed the last question at his newest student. Aiden stepped forward and gave a wide grin at the rest of his peers, small ears flicking up and down. "'Lo everyone! My name is Aiden and I just moved here from Singapore. I moved there with my family a year ago but I was born and raised in Australia. I'm very excited to be living in the United States now!" A fresh wave of giggles came from the class as Aiden finished and Mr. Daniels tsked loudly. "Don't worry, Aiden, you've just got an accent many of us haven't heard before," he said loud enough for the class to ear; a large number of ears tucked themselves down. "Why don't you go take a seat beside Kazan back there? I'll get you a loaner textbook." Kazan was sure he felt everyone's eyes on him as Aiden carefully made his way down the aisle of desks, though they were actually trained on the behemoth of a student waddling his way to the back. Raising his paw in greeting, Aiden's smile brightened as he took a seat beside the scrawny-in-comparison wolf, and Kazan quickly noticed how the new student's stomach was only half an inch from pressing into the desk. Giving an embarrassed smile he said, "Hi...Aiden? M-My name's Kazan." Undisturbed by the looks or giggles all around them, Aiden smiled back and held out his paw. "It's very nice to meetcha, Kazan. Nice to see a friendly smile," he said as a jab at the rest of the class. Kazan nervously shook the offered paw, looking up as Mr. Daniels placed a textbook on the tree kangaroo's desk. "Alright class let's finish roll call and then we'll open our books to page 132..." Casting a nervous glance at Aiden, Kazan tried to call up a mental image of the tree kangaroo in the blog, convinced this was the same guy, the same kid. He didn't just move to the same state he moved to the same town! Taking a deep breath, he tried to focus on his school work and put the heavy set 'roo in his peripheral vision out of his mind. Unable to stop himself from glancing over every few minutes, the recess bell could not have sounded sooner for him. The entire class filed out quickly and left the two walking side by side towards the playground. "S-so you're from Australia, Aiden? Do you miss it?" Stepping into the sunshine, they covered their eyes until they adjusted and Kazan felt his breath catch as Aiden smiled at him, noticing how his soft cheeks gave a slight wobble. "Australia's nice yeah, real friendly." Flicking his small ears he added, "N' thanks for not laughing at my accent. I never really dropped it when I was in Singapore." Staying back in the shade of the building the two watched other kids run around, not feeling overly inclined to join them. "So what do you do for fun, Kazan?" he asked, nudging his elbow at the wolf. Feeling another flush of red coat the inside of ears, Kazan gave a small shrug. "Some video games I guess. I go to the movies when I have money." Inhaling, he decided to make a bold probe to see if this was the same tree kangaroo from the 'net. "Sometimes I go online and read blogs and junk. Th-There's one I like to follow...uhm...maybe you know of it? Gain'r'roo?" Aiden spun around to face his new friend, eyes as wise as saucer plates and ears pinned back against his head. "Tell me I misheard you...please tell me I misheard you, mate." Kazan smiled shyly, rubbing at his arm nervously. "Does that mean I'm right...I-is that your blog, Aiden?" Inhaling through his nose slowly, Aiden looked from the wolf in front of him to the rest of the students running and screaming around them. "Look you can't...you can't tell anyone. Okay, please? You can't. It's not hurting anybody and-and..." Watching his shoulders slump in defeat, Kazan put on paw on Aiden's arm. "I'm not going to tell anyone...I just wanted to know if that was really you is all. I follow your blog every single day and it's just...it's like meeting your favorite super hero! You're in my town, my class and you're MY age! That is so freaking awesome, dude!" Grinning from ear-to-ear, Kazan tried to coax a smile out of his new friend. "You're like my idol or something..." Finally getting a smile out of him, Kazan sat down and patted the ground beside him. Settled against the outer wall of the school, the two talked throughout recess: about Aiden's blog, about what the town was like, about how moving to two new countries, about local places to hang out. The two were equally thrilled to find they had so much in common: books, video games, bands and of course a love for food. It was over lunch time, sitting together at a table by themselves, that Aiden asked "Kazan? Don't want this to come off as rude but...you're awful twiggy. Most blokes who talk to me through the blog admit that they're pretty big themselves. You're just...well it looks like I could eat whole and nobody would be any the wiser." Kazan felt his tail droop as he subconsciously held his paws over his slight paunch, biting his lower lip. "I-I'm not that small...I've actually been trying to bulk up a little. Like seeing your blog really got me thinking and some days I think I want to try to be as big as you and then others I look in the mirror and...I don't know. I don't think I even can put on weight! Everything I try just doesn't do anything." Frowning, Aiden glanced around the lunch room briefly before looking back at the blue and green wolf. "Come with me to my house after school. I can show you some of the things I do and maybe I can point out if you're doing something wrong?" Seeing his tail perk up and start wagging, he knew Kazan liked that idea. The rest of the day passed in a blur for the two with Kazan trying to picture himself as big and soft as the tree kangaroo and Aiden going through dozens of recipes and food stuffs that he knew. Confident in each other, the two set off after school finally let out towards Aiden's house. "There isn't a whole lot to see, we just moved in durin' the weekend. Dad had our stuff shipped here last week but he didn't want the movers unpacking. We can go up to my room later if you want? I want to get a snack first though," Aiden said with a lick of his lips. Looking around the massive kitchen, Kazan felt his ears turning red again as he followed Aiden to the dining table. "I'll make you something too if you want. Get you started on the right path?" Without waiting for an answer, the tree kangaroo headed for the fridge and pulled out a box of left over pizza, piling three slices each on two plates and heating them in the microwave, setting the first in front of his guest. "It's not quite gourmet but it's a good start." Flicking his ears back, Kazan didn't exactly feel hungry but he couldn't turn Aiden's offer of food down either. Taking a large bite, he finished half of a slice before Aiden sat down beside him, a bottle of ranch dressing with him which he poured a generous helping of on each slice. "First lesson on gaining is add as many calories as you can to the meal you're having. Condiments, sauces, dips, whatever you can." Sliding over the bottle, Aiden smiled encouragingly to his new friend and pupil, thick tail wagging slowly as Kazan follows his example. Satisfied, the two worked on their afternoon snack, a meal in its own right to most. Kazan was in awe at how quickly Aiden cleared through his plate, barely on his third slice before the other dish was cleared. Licking off a stray stain of sauce, Aiden could only grin in pride at the wolf staring at him. "Lesson two is to eat as much as you can as fast as you can. Your body starts to realize it's full after twenty minutes so you want to wolf down as much as possible." Finished with their snack and with the lesson, the two washed up before going upstairs, throwing open the door to Aiden's room. "All my stuff is still in boxes but I've got my laptop if you want to listen to music or something?" Looking around the room, Kazan could feel his jealousy rising with each minute. "Your parents must be loaded to afford a house like this...your room is bigger than parents' even!" Ears flicking down, Aiden shrugged and sat on his bed. "Parent actually. It's just me and my dad who moved here, mum went back to Australia. If you want...you can come by anytime you want. Dad's going to be at work most days till late, he said, and I don't have any friends yet. So...if you wanted to...?" Feeling bad, Kazan sat beside Aiden and tried to give an encouraging smile. "I can probably do that. My parents don't really care where I'm at so long as I'm home before dark. We could...I dunno, work on making me into a gainer if you want?" Kazan felt his ears grow hot again, sure they would set on fire at the rate he was blushing today. Aiden instantly perked up though, tail swishing across the sheets at the mention of having another gainer as a friend. Over the course of the next month the two spent each day after school at Aiden's house, sharing an afterschool "snack," helping each other with homework, ordering take out for a second snack, and discussing ideas for Aiden's blog. Kazan quickly made it clear he did not want to be put online, to embarrassed at the idea, though he was more than willing to take charge as camera man for new videos. Together, the two even came up with an idea to take requests from the blog for a weekly Binge Thursday. Picking some of the better choices, they both agreed to handle two ideas each and record Aiden as he went through one of his to post online. With encouragement from the online fan base, each other and a friendly rivalry to see who could push each other farther, it wasn't long before Aiden had beat his supposed weight plateau and Kazan was well on his way to growing a spare tire. It was exciting for the young wolf to watch his body grow over the weeks, nerve wracking at first in fear that his family or class mates would call him out on it. It was only with Aiden's encouragement that first: he looked just fine with a bit of pudge and second: nobody would notice since he was slowly putting on weight. "The only way someone would notice is if you grew to -my- size overnight!" Aiden had said after the fifth time Kazan brought it up. "We're still young and we're expected to grow. Nobody's going to care if we grow more out than up." True to his word, it wasn't until the third month of their friendship that Kazan's parents noticed their son was a bit chunkier and only then because of how tight his clothing was becoming. "It was torture!" he exclaimed one Saturday afternoon. "My mom dragged me through that stupid store like a dozen times before she finally stopped." Aiden finished pulling out a leftover lasagna pan from the fridge, setting it on the counter. Cutting it into microwaveable squares he set one plate in each microwave, having convinced his dad to buy a second smaller one for convenience. "Well it's better to have clothes that fit right? You told her to get you bigger than what you needed so you can grow into these ones and you won't need anything new for like a year now." Wanting to complain some more about how stupid clothes shopping was, Kazan relented as his friend placed both plates in front of him. Raising an eyebrow, Aiden just grinned and set about heating another two plates. Weeks of practice had enabled the wolf to eat at the same pace as the tree kangaroo and as the microwaves went off a second time, he already had one square of lasagna done. Once more Aiden placed both plates in front of his friend, unable to hide his grin now. "What are you doing Aiden?" Kazan laughed, drizzling a layer of ranch on the two new squares. Not answering, Aiden heated the last of the lasagna and placed it in front of the wolf before answering. "You've had a rough day so tonight we're going to focus on you. We're going to test your capacity and if you don't perform to my expectations then I'm going to feed you myself." Patting his friend's cream colored gut, the two shared a smile and Kazan set to work. After hanging out with Aiden for months, spending hours stuffing themselves, Kazan was certain he could "perform to expectation." It took only fifteen minutes for him to clear all five plates of lasagna though his muzzle was stained with sauce and scraps of noodles by the time he was finished. Aiden grinned as he watched, leaving halfway through with the excuse to get a napkin., coming back with a shirt Kazan recognized as one he left here a few weeks ago when they went swimming. Tossing the button down to him, Aiden grinned and said, "Put that on. We're going to make dessert now and in one hour you're eating everything we make. If that shirt doesn't pop by the time we're done, we keep going." Watching his friends pointed ears flick downwards in uncertainty, the tree kangaroo only smiled and went to preheat the oven. "There's some boxes of brownie mix in the cupboard down there, get out four okay?" Groaning some at how full he was, Kazan stood up from the table and immediately felt the heavy weight in his gut pull forward. Tugging his new shirt off and slipping into the old button down, he growled at how tight it was as he began buttoning it shut, showing off white triangles of fluff and fat through it. Shuffling over to the cupboard, he feel to knees with a loud thud, the first button bursting free with an audible ping as it ricocheted off the cabinet. Aiden's ear cocked back at the sound but he kept himself busy with the fridge. Digging out four boxes of triple chocolate chunk brownies and setting them on the counter Aiden came over the other mixing ingredients. "Aiden not that I doubt you but that lasagna was really filling. Are you seriously going to make me eat four pans of brownies?" Dropping off the water, oil and eggs by the boxes, the 'roo dug pulled the mixing bowl towards him and looked at his friend, "Of course I'm not going to make you eat four pans, Kazan. But I am going to make you eat three of these boxes baked into one pan of super dense brownies." True to his word, Kazan watched him start to mix three of the four boxes. "Okay...so what is the fourth box for then?" The smile Aiden gave him sent goose bumps down the green stripes lining Kazan's body. "I'm going to fortify that one into a super high calorie mix and you're going to eat the batter straight from the bowl. I know we just binged on Thursday but you can handle this." Tucking his ears down uncertainty, Kazan only nodded as he believed his friend knew what he was doing. Watching him mix the three boxes with an extra ingredient Aiden said would make the batch denser and less fluffy, barely five minutes passed before the mixing bowl filled with brownie batter was placed in his paws. "Go work on that and in half an hour I'll have your brownies." Moving to the table, Kazan could feel his belly straining the shirt and his large ears could pick up the subtle sound of fabric ripping and stitches coming undone. Once seated the pressure on the buttons became too much and a second one was sent flying, smacking Aiden in the back of the head. Whirling around to demand what that was for, Aiden saw the wide eyed wolf staring at him and immediately broke into a grin. "Keep it up, wolfy." Flattening his ears in embarrassment, Kazan dipped two fingers into the batter and brought it to his lips, taste buds coming alive with the sugary substances smeared across them. Despite how full he was he could not deny how delicious the brownie batter was, taking small samples at first with his two fingers, then moving to all four and finally scooping out large pawfuls of the brown goop. Paw coated in batter, muzzle stained anew and his strained shirt a little tighter, Kazan finally sat the licked-clean bowl down with a groan. Aiden smiled to himself as he walked behind the bloated wolf and placed both paws on his doughy sides, Kazan too full and zoned out to fully notice. Rubbing gently in wide circles, he felt how tight the too small shirt was on his friend, gripping his love handles gently and assessing his months of work. It's a shame Kazan won't let me weigh him, I want to know how much he's really grown. But seeing him like this, how I was a year ago, I'm glad I can share this with him. Before long thirty minutes had passed and the oven alarm rang through the kitchen, snapping Aiden from his daze and ceasing the belly rubs Kazan needed. Carefully removing the tray, Aiden grinned and sat the hot pan on cooling racks, grabbing knife and inserting it into the steaming hot brownies. Knowing it was still to hot to cut properly, he withdrew the knife and grinned at seeing the brownies were two inches thick. Walking back over to his friend, Kazan was eagerly sniffing at the air, having roused from his short nap. "Those smell amazing, Aiden. Are they done?" Chuckling, the tree kangaroo took up his spot behind Kazan and resumed his belly rubs. "Give it fifteen minutes and you'll have all the brownies you want. Maybe even more," he said in a wicked whisper. A soft whimper came from Kazan as he took full notice of the attention his belly was receiving, back arching to push more gut into Aiden's capable paws. "Oh don't stop, Aiden. Th-that feels so amazing right now." Grinning at how easy it was to manipulate the wolf, Aiden gave a soft rub over that softening belly. Noticing how taught the shirt had become, the roo pressed four blunt claws into it and a fresh wave of stitches ripping whispered across the room as the fabric tore under the pressure to create a new patchwork of holes in the soon to be ruined shirt. "Well I'd say that's a shame, Kazan, but we both knew that shirt wouldn't last through the night. I'd say the brownies are just about ready too. Want to find out how much more you can take?" Kazan whimpered and began to struggle in the chair, held down only by the weight of his gut and the fear of what would become of him after tonight. "P-Please, Aiden. I want those brownies. I want to eat as much as you can feed me. I..." Ears flat, Kazan looked down and inhaled sharply. "I want to shred these clothes and I want to be as big as you. Make it happen." Aiden could not grin wide enough at those words. Standing up he went to fetch the tray of brownies, soft body jiggling and wobbling with each step. That is what I want. Kazan thought as he stared at his friend and feeder. I want to be that big. I want to be bigger and softer and I want to feel my body sway with every step. I. Want. That. Coming back with a plate piled high, Aiden sat beside his friend and smiled encouragingly, both boys picking up a brownie. Nodding at each other, Kazan pushed the entire brownie into his mouth and began to chew, Aiden pushing his in right after. Working in tandem the two crammed and shoved the gooey dessert into the growing wolf, never giving his jaws a break as Kazan worked to stomach everything. With every swallow his stomach grew a little larger and new rips and tears spread across his shirt. That shirt that represented what he was. With each bite, with each gut expanding gulp more and more threads came apart, buttons flying free one by one and holes and tears shredding the shirt. With one last brownie left, Kazan felt as full as he ever had before, more so even and still there was one stubborn button left. Inhaling and pushing his gut out as far as he could, it would not burst and Aiden saw that. Putting a paw on that creamy white belly, stuffed to capacity and begging for release, they both knew what it would take. Glancing at the plate, Kazan gulped and reached for the last piece, Aiden giving an encouraging nod before cramming it whole into his jaws. Working on that last bite, chewing over and over it took every ounce of will Kazan had to swallow. Finally, after the third attempt he managed to get it down and like they both knew would happen that last button tore itself free and ricocheted across the room. A groan of victory escaped Kazan and he fell back into the chair, stomach bouncing in his lap a few times as he did so. "That was brilliant, mate," Aiden said, grinning from ear to ear. "Come on, let's get you lying on the couch or something before you burst open." Helping Kazan to his feet, the two made their way to the living room and settled on the couch together, both panting with exhaustion: Kazan from his feast and Aiden since he had to all but drag his friend. Laying at opposite ends and resting on the armrests, Kazan gave a weary grin. "Thanks, Aiden...tonight was exactly what I needed." Snorting at that, Aiden only grinned and nudged his friend in the foot. "Don't thank me just yet, you've still got to digest all that to make any real progress." Falling silent the two stared off into space, uninterrupted as they had the house to themselves. "Aiden? Think it would be okay if I slept over here tonight? I really don't want to go walking home." Smiling, Aiden stood up from the couch. "Course you can. Want me to phone your parents and tell them? You said they usually don't care if you check first?" Receiving a nod in agreement, Aiden went to the kitchen to place the call, explaining that Kazan's father that it was his idea for the sleep over and that his son would be back in the morning. Receiving the permission they both knew they'd get, Aiden looked back towards the living room and bit his lip. Taking a chair and moving it to the fridge, Aiden pushed aside a bag of chips on the top of it and retrieved the video camera he used to record Kazan's feeding. Ejecting the CD from it he sat the camera aside twirled the disk between his paws. "Hey, Kazan! I got something for you...Something for your own gainer journal."
