Tracking the speed demon wasn’t always easy, and the discovery of his disappearance via warp ring had made it all the harder. There had been Dr. Eggman’s bases to search out, and many favourite spots of the blue hedgehog’s to check. Finally, with Knuckles’s help through the master emerald, the striped hedgehog had discovered exactly where the warp ring had led to. The echidna had been reluctant to use the giant gem at first, but when Shadow had made it clear to him that it wasn’t likely Sonic was still on Mobius red had relented. And the results were enough to make Knuckles put the master emerald under the care of a worried Tails when the echidna was provided a vision of not just where the warp ring had gone, but how and why the blue hedgehog had been taken.\n\n Carried off limply after an ambush by Scourge to Moebius, as the green hedgehog told the unconscious form just how much money he’d make him.\n\n That had increased the urgency of the search, now having become a rescue mission.
