"writing": "\t“Hey, Kacey?” A lighter-and-higher toned voice chimed from the center of a toy-littered room. Standing amidst a mix of boy and girl toys, including Fox McCloud series action-figures and Amy Rose dolls, a young akita stood, his curly tail wagging wildly. His fur was a black color, aside from the ends of his arms, legs, his tummy and face, which were a conflicting white. His hair was only just lighter than the black base his fur held. His dark green eyes stared out, across the room, to a similar-looking female akita, jumping up and down on a pink bed in the corner of the room.\n\tHis clothes today happened to be his favorite outfit. A red shirt with a phoenix design on the center, and his shorts were very jean-like. They were both slightly to big on him, and thus, were baggy and long.\n\tThe female akita, Kacey, was a slightly-smaller, brown version of the male. Whichever parts on the boy were black, Kacey’s fur replaced with her brown color. Her straight hair extended down to the center of her back, in contrast to the male’s, which stopped at his shoulders. Contrary to her brother’s clothing, she wore a pretty yellow-and-pink dress that depicted a hummingbird swooping down from her neck, the body of the bird over the front of her legs. \nHer rambunctious jumping quickly stopped upon hearing her brother’s call.\n\t“Yeah, Kasper?” She responded. Her ‘R’ was just barely forming, and so it almost sounded as though the name lacked the ‘R’ at all. She looked expectantly to her older brother.\n\t“I jus’ thoughted of a new game!” Kasper said, excitedly running the short distance to his sister. His bare feet trampled over the figures that littered the floor, until they rested on the single clear spot in the room—directly next to the bed.\n\tA large smile quickly grew on Kasey’s face. It was clear that she enjoyed the idea of a new game. Her tail wagged slowly, and both of her ears perked in wonder. Her own green eyes met Kasper’s. \n\t“What’s the game called, huh?” She asked. She leaned forward, almost as if she might lose some enjoyment from hearing the idea if she weren’t closer.\n\t“I donno, but I thoughted you could help me think of one! Wanna hear how t’play the game so we can think of a good name for it?” \nKasper could hardly wait for a response. As his sister had only just begun to nod her head ‘yes’, he explained the game. Although short, it was a decent description of an epic battle between good and bad—That is, with the kid-like twist children can only throw in!\nThe game was simple. One of the two would be the bad guy, and the other the good guy. The bad guy was trying to steal all the toys, so no more games could be played by little children! Whoever was the good guy would be fighting off the bad guy with none other than that which he was stealing; toys.\n“Okay!” Kacey nearly yelled with her excitement. She was bouncing up and down at the idea, as she found it astounding and amazing. She stood up from where she sat, and hopped off of the bed next to her brother. She looked up at him the few inches shorter she was, and let out a great big smile, showing her teeth. Her tail was wagging much faster now; closer to her brother’s speed, which hadn’t slowed down from earlier.\n“’Les start, then!” Kasper said, his initial goal of obtaining a name for the game long gone. He quickly ran to the center of the room, Kacey right on his heels. When he made an abrupt stop in the middle of the room to bend over and pick up a toy, Kacey nearly tripped over herself to stop in time. \n“W-woah!”\nAs she flailed her arms to keep herself from falling down, Kasper stood up, holding a figure of a villain from the Starfox action-figure set. He seemed somewhat of a disgruntled, old, and misunderstood person, although his evil intentions were clear.\nKasper held out the figure to his sister, saying, “Here! You’ll be the bad guy!”\nIt only took a moment for Kasey to regain her balance. When she did, both, her tail stopped wagging and her smile ceased. Her smile was replaced with a slight frown. \n“B-but… I don’t wanna be the bad guy!” She said, a tone of despair in her voice.\n“One of us has ‘ta be the bad guy, though!” Kasper replied, the tone in his voice changing from the previously happy and excited one. His ears lay back, and his tail slowed its wag.\n“Can it please be you, Kasper?” Kasey asked. Her own ears laid back, similarly to her brother’s. When her Kasper didn’t reply and simply continued holding out the bad-guy figurine, Kasey’s frown deepened. She turned around and took a step, reaching down to grab a doll from the plethora of scattered toys. She quickly turned back to her brother, holding out a very-well-kept doll of a female kitten in a maid’s outfit using one arm. With her other arm, she held Fox McCloud’s blaster next to the doll, meaning that the two were to go together.\n“I wanted to be the good guy and be her!” Kasper’s sister explained, pretending to fire the gun. \nKasper, however, seemed to almost dislike his sister’s antics. His ears still back and his tail completely halted, he shook his head, saying, “But that’s not how the game’s supposed to be played!” \n“But I thought that we were gonna make the game together!” His sister nearly yelled. Her cry echoed through the house, and from downstairs, two creatures began to stir.\n“We were just gonna play the game together, ‘cause I already made it!” Kasper retorted.\n“Well, I don’t wanna play anymore!” Kasey, being as small as she was, could only handle so much; Her little body and mind couldn’t stand her brother anymore. Reaching out with her arms, she knocked the toy out of Kasper’s hand. \nFor only a moment, Kasper stood still, shocked. This was quickly replaced by him returning the movement—with his hands, he knocked the toys from Kasey’s hands. In an instant, the two were together, pushing against each other in some sort of a fight. As quickly as it started, though, it ended.\nTwo larger figures had quickly entered the room, each sweeping up one of the fighting children.\n“Hey, hey, hey, stop it, you two!” The male said. Despite Kasper, who had been picked up by the male, attempting to squirm free with all his might, the male’s strength made it impossible. Although a gentle hold, the solid, tone muscles rippling under his fur prevented the small child to move them in any way. The man’s fur was a light golden color, and although the room was only lit by the open door and light emanating from hallway windows, his fur gleamed as if being hit by a spotlight. His green eyes quickly darted to the other person who had come in with him.\nThe other figure who entered was a female, and she had held Kasey, who was similarly-to-Kasper struggling. The woman’s fur was very similar to Kasper. The color and patterns were the same, down to a pinhead. The biggest difference between the two was the mother’s blue eyes. As hers met the male’s, she quickly and silently carried Kasey out of the room.\nThe male quickly walked Kasper to the corner of the room, and using his feet, cleared a spot from the toys. He sat Kasper down in the corner, and lightly held him there. Tears had begun forming in Kasper’s eyes by this point, and he pouted when he realized that resisting was pointless. His arms crossed, an his eyes down and away, he sat there, silently.\n“Kasper, tell me what happened just now,” The male instructed. He glanced carefully down at Kasper, attempting to read any slightest clue for answers. Kasper, however, responded only with a sniffle.\n“Kasper, tell me.” The figure said. He lowered himself down and sat, so that he could be closer to eye-level with Kasper. He reached out with his hand, and set it on Kasper’s shoulder. This almost seemed to dwarf the black akita.\nWith another sniffle, Kasper looked up at the other akita. “K-Kasey was b-being mean, Daddy!” Kasper began to explain. “M-me and h-her were playing, and, and,” He paused for a moment, sniffling. “And then I had a really cool idea for a game, Daddy, and I told Kasey about it!” He used his the sleeve on his short-sleeve shirt to wipe the tears from his eyes. \n“And then I asked her to play to, and we were about to play, but she wanted to play it wrong, Daddy! I didn’t want her to play it wrong, though… I wanted to play the game right!”\nThe father was silent for a moment, his own eyes searching Kasper’s.\n“And why did you two start fighting?”\n“Because Kasey hit my toys away…”\n\t“So you two just started fighting after that?”\n“N-no…” Kasper’s ears were practically pinned to his head at this point. “I hit the toys away from her, back…”\n“So you hit back at her, hmm?”\n“Y-Yeah… But only ‘cause she did it first!”\nThe father took a moment to respond. His gaze rested upwards, and his tail flicked back and forth once or twice. When he’d collected his thoughts, he looked back down to Kasper, who was still sitting in the corner, only now staring up at him.\n“Kasper, you know you’re the big brother, right?” He asked.\n“Of course, Daddy! You’ve told me a lot before, so duh!”\n“And I’ve never told you what being a big brother meant, have I?” He asked, his tone soft.\n“Whaddaya mean…? Doesn’t being the bigger brother mean Kasey has t’listen to me?”\n“Being a big brother means you can’t hit your sister, no matter what.”\n“Is… is it a bad thing?” Kasper had already figured out the answer. This was the first time him and his sister had gone after each other, and consequently, the first time he was talked to like this.\nDespite being an adult topic, Kasper’s father took the opportunity. This would be an excellent way to let this topic sink in—and, for a long time, Kasper’s father had been waiting for this opportunity.\n“Yes, it is. It’s a very bad thing to hit your sister. If you hit your sister, you may never be able to see her ever again, forever! Or even longer!” Kasper’s father attempted to stress the point as best he could to a six-year-old. Although difficult, he knew it was possible. “You like playing with Kasey, right? Isn’t she fun to play with sometimes?” He continued.\n“Yeah, she can be kinda fun…” Kasper confessed.\n“Well, you might not be able to play with her, ever again, if you keep hitting and fighting with her!” \nKasper, although seeming astonished, didn’t have a look of somewhat-horror on his face. This needed to be pressed more, Kasper’s father thought.\n“Do you remember being put in time-out the other day? Remember how you couldn’t talk to anybody, and you couldn’t play with anybody? You just sat in the corner for a long time, all alone? That might happen again if you hit Kasey, only for a lot of forevers-more!” He stressed the, ‘a lot’, perhaps a bit too much. However, it seemed to work. \nKasper’s eyes narrowed as he stared at his father, trying to grasp this. Before he could ask anything, though, his father continued.\n“In fact, real bad guys might come and take you away forever if you fight with her more.”\nKasper’s shocked look didn’t falter.\n“You might not be able to see me or Mommy, either!”\n“No!” Kasper nearly yelled. A short while ago, his father had stopped pinning him to the wall. With his freedom, he now launched forward, hugging his father tightly. Although the reaction slightly shocking, it was satisfying to the father. Kasper’s father hugged him back.\n“If you don’t want to never see us ever again,” Kasper’s father whispered in his ear, “you can’t fight with your sister anymore, as mean or annoying as she might get. If she hits your toys again, or pushes you, or anything, you have to not push her back, okay? Just come find me or Mommy, alright?”\nKasper’s father was met with silence.\n“Kasper, can you promise me this?”\n“Yeah, Daddy… I don’t want you or Mommy or Kasey to go away forever and ever…”\nKasper’s dad pulled Kasper away from him slightly, looking him in the eye. The father smiled warmly, his golden ears perked.\n“Good. Now, I want you to go say sorry to your sister, alright?”\nKasper nodded. \nAs Kasper’s father stood up, Kasper made his way around him and to the door quickly. The father followed Kasper out, to make sure that Kasey’s talk was also done.\nQuickly, the two headed down the hall and down the stairs. Once they reached the bottom of the flight, Kasper’s father led Kasper to the left and into the living room. In the center of the room, Kasey stood next to her mother. \nKasey looked straight at Kasper, and Kasper back. In silence, the two walked to each other.\n“I’m sorry, Kasey!” Kasper said. He hugged his sister, who quickly hugged him back.\n“No, I’m sorry… I was being a dummy.”\n“No, I was being a dummy… I don’t want you to go away forever, I’m sorry for hitting your toys.”\n“Me too… If you wanna go play the game your way, we can. I’ll be the bad guy.”\n“No way, your way is probably way cooler!”\nThe two quickly ended their hug, and made their ways upstairs. \nKasper’s father and mother smiled at each other, and walked next to one another. Kasper’s father pecked the mother on the muzzle with a kiss, and Kasper’s mother quickly landed one back on the father’s lips. The kiss was short-lived, however, and the two separated to separate rooms, to do their own chores.",

His arms crossed, an his eyes down and away, he sat there, silently.<br />&ldquo;Kasper, tell me what happened just now,&rdquo; The male instructed. He glanced carefully down at Kasper, attempting to read any slightest clue for answers. Kasper, however, responded only with a sniffle.<br />&ldquo;Kasper, tell me.&rdquo; The figure said. He lowered himself down and sat, so that he could be closer to eye-level with Kasper. He reached out with his hand, and set it on Kasper&rsquo;s shoulder. This almost seemed to dwarf the black akita.<br />With another sniffle, Kasper looked up at the other akita. &ldquo;K-Kasey was b-being mean, Daddy!&rdquo; Kasper began to explain. &ldquo;M-me and h-her were playing, and, and,&rdquo; He paused for a moment, sniffling. &ldquo; And then I had a really cool idea for a game, Daddy, and I told Kasey about it!&rdquo; He used his the sleeve on his short-sleeve shirt to wipe the tears from his eyes. <br />&ldquo;And then I asked her to play to, and we were about to play, but she wanted to play it wrong, Daddy! I didn&rsquo;t want her to play it wrong, though&hellip; I wanted to play the game right!&rdquo;<br />The father was silent for a moment, his own eyes searching Kasper&rsquo;s.<br />&ldquo;And why did you two start fighting?&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Because Kasey hit my toys away&hellip;&rdquo;<br />\t&ldquo;So you two just started fighting after that?&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;N-no&hellip;&rdquo; Kasper&rsquo;s ears were practically pinned to his head at this point. &ldquo;I hit the toys away from her, back&hellip;&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;So you hit back at her, hmm?&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Y-Yeah&hellip; But only &lsquo;cause she did it first!&rdquo;<br />The father took a moment to respond. His gaze rested upwards, and his tail flicked back and forth once or twice. When he&rsquo;d collected his thoughts, he looked back down to Kasper, who was still sitting in the corner, only now staring up at him.<br />&ldquo;Kasper, you know you&rsquo;re the big brother, right?&rdquo; He asked.<br />&ldquo;Of course, Daddy! You&rsquo;ve told me a lot before, so duh!&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;And I&rsquo;ve never told you what being a big brother meant, have I?&rdquo; He asked, his tone soft.<br />&ldquo;Whaddaya mean&hellip;? Doesn&rsquo;t being the bigger brother mean Kasey has t&rsquo;listen to me?&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Being a big brother means you can&rsquo;t hit your sister, no matter what.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Is&hellip; is it a bad thing?&rdquo; Kasper had already figured out the answer. This was the first time him and his sister had gone after each other, and consequently, the first time he was talked to like this.<br />Despite being an adult topic, Kasper&rsquo;s father took the opportunity. This would be an excellent way to let this topic sink in&mdash;and, for a long time, Kasper&rsquo;s father had been waiting for this opportunity.<br />&ldquo;Yes, it is. It&rsquo;s a very bad thing to hit your sister. If you hit your sister, you may never be able to see her ever again, forever! Or even longer!&rdquo; Kasper&rsquo;s father attempted to stress the point as best he could to a six-year-old. Although difficult, he knew it was possible. &ldquo; You like playing with Kasey, right? Isn&rsquo;t she fun to play with sometimes?&rdquo; He continued.<br />&ldquo;Yeah, she can be kinda fun&hellip;&rdquo; Kasper confessed.<br />&ldquo;Well, you might not be able to play with her, ever again, if you keep hitting and fighting with her!&rdquo; <br />Kasper, although seeming astonished, didn&rsquo;t have a look of somewhat-horror on his face. This needed to be pressed more, Kasper&rsquo;s father thought.<br />&ldquo;Do you remember being put in time-out the other day? Remember how you couldn&rsquo;t talk to anybody, and you couldn&rsquo;t play with anybody? You just sat in the corner for a long time, all alone? That might happen again if you hit Kasey, only for a lot of forevers-more!&rdquo; He stressed the, &lsquo;a lot&rsquo;, perhaps a bit too much. However, it seemed to work. <br />Kasper&rsquo;s eyes narrowed as he stared at his father, trying to grasp this. Before he could ask anything, though, his father continued.<br />&ldquo;In fact, real bad guys might come and take you away forever if you fight with her more.&rdquo;<br />Kasper&rsquo;s shocked look didn&rsquo;t falter.<br />&ldquo;You might not be able to see me or Mommy, either!&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;No!&rdquo; Kasper nearly yelled. A short while ago, his father had stopped pinning him to the wall. With his freedom, he now launched forward, hugging his father tightly. Although the reaction slightly shocking, it was satisfying to the father. Kasper&rsquo;s father hugged him back.<br />&ldquo;If you don&rsquo;t want to never see us ever again,&rdquo; Kasper&rsquo;s father whispered in his ear, &ldquo;you can&rsquo;t fight with your sister anymore, as mean or annoying as she might get. If she hits your toys again, or pushes you, or anything, you have to not push her back, okay? Just come find me or Mommy, alright?&rdquo;<br />Kasper&rsquo;s father was met with silence.<br />&ldquo;Kasper, can you promise me this?&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Yeah, Daddy&hellip; I don&rsquo;t want you or Mommy or Kasey to go away forever and ever&hellip;&rdquo;<br />Kasper&rsquo;s dad pulled Kasper away from him slightly, looking him in the eye. The father smiled warmly, his golden ears perked.<br />&ldquo;Good. Now, I want you to go say sorry to your sister, alright?&rdquo;<br />Kasper nodded. <br />As Kasper&rsquo;s father stood up, Kasper made his way around him and to the door quickly. The father followed Kasper out, to make sure that Kasey&rsquo;s talk was also done.<br />Quickly, the two headed down the hall and down the stairs. Once they reached the bottom of the flight, Kasper&rsquo;s father led Kasper to the left and into the living room. In the center of the room, Kasey stood next to her mother. <br />Kasey looked straight at Kasper, and Kasper back. In silence, the two walked to each other.<br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m sorry, Kasey!&rdquo; Kasper said. He hugged his sister, who quickly hugged him back.<br />&ldquo;No, I&rsquo;m sorry&hellip; I was being a dummy.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;No, I was being a dummy&hellip; I don&rsquo;t want you to go away forever, I&rsquo;m sorry for hitting your toys.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Me too&hellip; If you wanna go play the game your way, we can. I&rsquo;ll be the bad guy.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;No way, your way is probably way cooler!&rdquo;<br />The two quickly ended their hug, and made their ways upstairs. <br />Kasper&rsquo;s father and mother smiled at each other, and walked next to one another. Kasper&rsquo;s father pecked the mother on the muzzle with a kiss, and Kasper&rsquo;s mother quickly landed one back on the father&rsquo;s lips. The kiss was short-lived, however, and the two separated to separate rooms, to do their own chores.</span>",
