"writing": " Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!\n White snow boots, lined on the inside with a tan lambskin and a brown rubbery bottom, walked along over white, untouched, fresh snow. Each step left a clearly visible and detailed imprint, making a path as they walked.\n Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!\n Thick and padded black snow-pant legs covered the top of the boots. At the top of the snow pants, a small red heart sat on the right hip, with the written-in-cursive initials, \"M.L.\" in the middle of it, signifying that it was from the Max Lover collection. A jet black tail extended from a tail-hole in the back. Slender, and with a shine despite low light, turquoise-aquamarine quills lined the bottom-back of the tail.\n Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!\n A thick white coat covered the top of the snow pants. Threaded string along the outside of the coat created a bulgy diamond pattern. The inside of the coat was lined with a tan lambskin, similar to the boots. Although unseen, hidden under the coat was a black long-sleeve shirt, a large red rose covering most of the front. White gloves, the cuffs covered by the coat sleeves, were at the ends of the coat's arms.\n Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!\n A light snowfall fell as a black, upright-walking panther-like creature walked along. Her tail was held up, hovering over the snow. She looked around and her snow-blue eyes scanned the area, trying to make out another person. Her eyesight, however, was cut off by combination of frost-haze and snow glare after only fifteen feet.\n The anthropomorphic girl looked up to the sky, staring at the snowflakes that fell. As she continued walking, she could only wonder how such a beautiful day, as it had been just that morning, could turn into heavy snowfall in a short few hours. The weather reports hadn't warned her of any snow...\n The girl dropped her gaze to the ground, watching every step she made. \"I should be near...\" she thought to herself, her mind returning to the destination she headed for. She drew her vision to her front again, and saw a few trees beginning to appear.\n \"So I am nearly...\" Her thoughts faded away as the picture of a brown, canid face with stunning green eyes and glasses appeared in her head. There was something about the man's genuine smile that always made her feel warm on the inside... She immediately blushed, and could feel her cheeks growing hot. She was going to go meet him.\n \"Hey, Sablier!\" He'd called to her earlier that day. His voice was clear and confident as he spoke. When she turned to say, 'Hi', a very light pink blush on her cheeks, she saw he was wearing his signature outfit: Brown pants with brown leather-like shoes, a black undershirt with a darker-brown jacket, and a satchel slung across his chest. The purple-and-black checkered pouch rested at his side. The sun, shining brightly, seemed to accentuate every positive feature about him.\n \"Hello, Hade!\" She called back to him. She stood still and watched as Hade jogged over to her.\n \"I wanted to ask if you'd meet me later.\" He said, his coyote-like tail wagging lightly.\n \"Where?\" Sablier asked, her blush darkening. She turned and began walking in an attempt to conceal it.\n Following her, Hade responded, \"At the park. Tonight. After dark.\" It was quiet for a few moments, so Hade continued, \"I've told you I'm a night person, and I love stargazing. It's a full moon tonight, but there's also a meteor shower. I thought you might want to see it.\"\n \"Who else are you inviting?\" Sablier asked, not slowing her pace.\n \"It'll be just you and me.\" Hade told her.\n \"Just me and you...?\" Sablier thought. Her blush didn't deepen, but she felt a happy feeling inside. She stopped walking, and Hade had quickly taken place in front of her.\n Sablier closed her eyes and shook her head, clearing it of the day's memories. She'd spaced out and not paid attention where she walked. Looking around, she saw a swingset not ten feet from her. The light snowfall had stopped. The clouds overhead began breaking up, and the moon was partly showing. She walked to the swingset and past it.\n \"I'm at the park's playground, he should be near here...\" She thought to herself. He wasn't near the swings, nor the slide when she looked. She checked the dizzy-dial as it was called, which was a giant plate, with metal poles jutting out of it to hold onto, that spun .\n \"Sablier! Is that you?\"\n Her ear twitched as she heard Hade's voice. She looked to her left and saw only the back of the park bench.\n \"Hade? Where are you?\" Sablier asked, looking towards the bench. Hade's brown-furred hand popped up from behind the back of the bench and waved.\n \"I'm right here. I'm laying down.\" He said. He was able to be seen after sitting up. He looked at Sablier with a smile, and said, \"I'm glad you came!\"\n Sablier returned a smile, and walked over to the bench. Looking at Hade, she noticed his outfit hadn't changed except for--what looked like--slightly thicker pants. \"Aren't you cold?\" Sablier asked him.\n \"No. I don't get cold easily.\" Hade replied. He then scooted himself over, making room for Sablier to sit comfortably. She sat down, wrapping her tail around onto her lap.\n \"It's turned into a nice night...\" Sablier said, staring up at the sky. The clouds were breaking up more, and larger parts of the night sky could be seen. \"It's quiet, peaceful...\" She said out loud, and added in her head, \"and with you.\"\n \"It is, isn't it?\" Hade responded. Sablier looked at him, He was leaning back, staring at the stars. \"I can't wait until the meteor shower! I've only seen one... And that was kind of a dud.\" He added.\n \"I've never seen any. This'll be my first.\" Sablier told him. She moved her gaze from him and looked around. The haze was clearing a bit, but not much. Nothing was moving. No wind was blowing. It was as if time had stopped moving, other than the clouds. \n \"It's just me and him...\" She thought to herself. She looked back at Hade, who had looked at her while she had looked around.\n \"What're you thinking about?\" He asked her. His gaze was calm and collect.\n \"O-Oh, uhm...\" She began to blush lightly. \"Nothing much, but... do you have... Is there anyone you like? At school, or anywhere, really?\" She asked. She quickly grew nervous about the question. She was afraid of what the answer might be. She regretted the question before she got an answer.\n \"Actually...\" Hade began, pausing for a moment. \"There's no one I like in particular, but there is someone I think I might be starting to.\" He said. He was staring at the stars again when he answered. He returned his gaze to Sablier and returned the question. \"What about you?\"\n \"There's someone... that I really like.\" She said. Seeing the encouraging face on Hade, she continued, \"He's taller than me by a bit, very hansome and kind...\" She said, vaguely describing her interest. \"I've been friends with him for years.\" She added, Hade staying silent.\n \"Do I know him?\" Hade asked. It was clear that he couldn't guess the person Sablier liked, and that he needed an extra hint.\n \"Yes, you do.\" Sablier replied. She looked back to the sky, selecting what details she'd give. \"He has black glasses...\" \n Hade had a very thoughtful look across his face as he attempted to guess who Sablier might like. \"Are you talking about Andrew? Wait, but he isn't too tall...\"\n Sablier saw a flicker in the sky, and it was followed by a streak of light. The first meteorite fell. \"This is my chance...\" She thought to herself. \"He's...\" She spoke softly. She looked at him, directly at his eyes, and put her hands onto his shoulders. Her face was red, and she brought her muzzle to his, pressing their lips to each others'. She held there for many moments. Pulling back, she saw that Hade's face was now a dark red, and held a shocked expression.\n \"He's... you.\" She finished, and looked up towards the sky for a moment. Her mind whizzed with all the possible responses Hade might have. She was still nervous. As she continued to scan the sky, she noticed that unlike she'd hoped, the meteor shower hadn't begun. \n She gave herself a somewhat-sympathetic chuckle. \"I-I was... hoping the meteor shower would start... like they do in the movies, when people kiss...\" She said, disheartened.\n \"It's a good thing it didn't.\" Hade said in a light tone, a happy and caring expression on his face. He put his arm around Sablier and pulled her close to him. \"It would've been really corny... Not that there's anything wrong with that. But also, if it had started during the kiss...\" He kissed her on the forehead, silently answering her also-silent question. \"We wouldn't have been able to watch it all, together.\"\n",

She looked back at Hade, who had looked at her while she had looked around.
"What're you thinking about?" He asked her. His gaze was calm and collect.
"O-Oh, uhm..." She began to blush lightly. "Nothing much, but... do you have... Is there anyone you like? At school, or anywhere, really?" She asked. She quickly grew nervous about the question. She was afraid of what the answer might be. She regretted the question before she got an answer.
"Actually..." Hade began, pausing for a moment. "There's no one I like in particular, but there <i>is</i> someone I think I might be starting to." He said. He was staring at the stars again when he answered. He returned his gaze to Sablier and returned the question. "What about you?"
"There's someone... that I really like." She said. Seeing the encouraging face on Hade, she continued, "He's taller than me by a bit, very hansome and kind..." She said, vaguely describing her interest. "I've been friends with him for years." She added, Hade staying silent.
"Do I know him?" Hade asked. It was clear that he couldn't guess the person Sablier liked, and that he needed an extra hint.
"Yes, you do." Sablier replied. She looked back to the sky, selecting what details she'd give. "He has black glasses..."
Hade had a very thoughtful look across his face as he attempted to guess who Sablier might like. "Are you talking about Andrew? Wait, but he isn't too tall..."
Sablier saw a flicker in the sky, and it was followed by a streak of light. The first meteorite fell. "This is my chance..." She thought to herself. "He's..." She spoke softly. She looked at him, directly at his eyes, and put her hands onto his shoulders. Her face was red, and she brought her muzzle to his, pressing their lips to each others'. She held there for many moments. Pulling back, she saw that Hade's face was now a dark red, and held a shocked expression.
"He's... you." She finished, and looked up towards the sky for a moment. Her mind whizzed with all the possible responses Hade might have. She was still nervous. As she continued to scan the sky, she noticed that unlike she'd hoped, the meteor shower hadn't begun.
She gave herself a somewhat-sympathetic chuckle. "I-I was... hoping the meteor shower would start... like they do in the movies, when people kiss..." She said, disheartened.
"It's a good thing it didn't." Hade said in a light tone, a happy and caring expression on his face. He put his arm around Sablier and pulled her close to him. "It would've been really corny... Not that there's anything wrong with that. But also, if it had started during the kiss..." He kissed her on the forehead, silently answering her also-silent question. "We wouldn't have been able to watch it all, together."
",
