She hated that cold but heavy air. The RUtB had such a nice, moisture free feel to it, but here? Nothing but a cold wetness that was just as suffocating as any ocean.\n'Course, having skin would've probably helped.\nHaving stepped out from her world for good she had been reborn. Now, she was simply a skeleton wrapped in a tight, thin layer of rotting muscle and covered in the crusted remains of burnt fur and flesh which chipped off as she walked. \nThe crisp remains of her ears perked up, letting in more cold.\nShe was suddenly aware of something she'd been ignoring during her trek through the woods towards civilization. \nMusic.\nMusic and laughter. \nThe sounds of other sentient beings throwing some kind've 'joyous' get-together.\nShe felt what was left of her stomach lurch. She hated other animals, they served only one purpose in her life.\n...\nOr did they?\nAn idea slide into her mind and demanded her full attention.\nFurries still had skin, right? And fur..warm, warm fur.\nHer face twisted into a hideous smile, only made worse by her snapping muscle and cracked burn coating. \nPerhaps food wasn't their only purpose after all...[/i]\n\nLONG STORY SHORT\n\nKasha is reborn from the Realm Under the Bed as a skeleton with the burnt, sticky remains of her muscle and skin.\nShe stumbles on a huge outdoor concert and proceeds to maim and/or kill everyone she can, ripping off their hides and slapping them onto her body where they fuse with her and become her new skin. Chicken then feeds off the deer furs she kills and gains enough spiritual energy to create his first 'solid' form. He still has a ways to go though. \nALSO, Kasha hates cold because she's doomed to forever be cold. Windigos are spirits of winter and starvation.
