  "description": "This is a new digital technique I've been practicing lately to completely change up how I do digital art. Instead of drawing the fine line art at first, I do a rough sketch and paint the various colors as layers, and finally do the line art where needed to reinforce the drawing. This was one of the earliest attempts but I really like the effect. It's not much faster, but when done right, I feel like I have a lot more control over the texture and special effects and it's easier to get to the point where I can see what the final image may look like. Plus I'm not at the mercy of the paint can and dont' have to commit to lines I drew where I may change my mind later since the shadows ultimately dictate the form I want. The color layers are just flat colors.\n\nI'll be uploading a few more that are better than the previous. None of them are complete, but they're finished enough that I'm willing to share them. Plus I need to upload some new characters on my site.\n\nThis is Boulder Timberdon sleeping after a long day in the swamp.
