  "description": "I was inspired by a friend of mine, [iconname]Zenobius[/iconname] who gave me the idea of trying physical inking to get smooth solid lines like I usually make in digital art. It has it's pros and cons though. \n\nPros: \n-A lot faster. 20 minutes versus usually an hour or so.\n-If I feel like I need to make a change, I can see the whole image and make the change accordingly.\n-Pen and paper are always easily accessed.\n-Easier to look out for gaps and keep lines solid\n\nCons:\n-Without being able to zoom in, I can't do fine lines. The lines end up several pixels wider than the roughly 2 pixels I do line art with.\n-I'm restricted to the size of the paper\n-I can't do fine details very easily if at all. \n-Wastes more paper, since I'd use a second sheet to trace the image just in case. (and paper has to be lined up)\n\nUltimately, the speed really makes up for the fact that I can't do fine details without doing some cleaning up, there are ways I can combine the two methods without using my drawing tablet, where I draw the outline except for the fine details, then scan both the sketch and the line work then use the path tool to do the fine lines.  The reason why it takes a lot less time though is because when I do the line art digitally, I usually zoom in and do sections at a time, then I have to move the view around and do more, and keep doing that. So it only really helps around the face where I want the lines fine (especially around the eyes and the mouth, I had to use an eraser to clean up those areas), but outside of that, you can see that the lines are about as good as when I do it digitally. \n\nI'll probably put this in scraps because it's not complete and just an experiment. I'd like to shade it and all that stuff before I upload it officially, but I want to do some more testing first. \n\nAnyway, this is Neutrina, she's copyright to Kao Ninjaratzu. I've been wanting to draw Neutrina more since I kind of felt like drawing my massive two headed dragon goddess and her long necks really make it easier to position her heads. In the sketch Starlight is pointing to a galaxy she made and playing a guessing game. Darkstar snarks at her, claiming she knows the answer cause both heads are still intellectually linked, before lamenting about trying to sleep.
