Yes, this is meant to be Baiyo as a child. Sure to human minds she looks like she'd pass for an adult 20x over but Starmaninjians just grow faster than humans. Digression aside, I wanted to draw Baiyo as a kid again after updating her look as an adult to give her more wild hair. Baiyo's hair is supposed to be loosely based on a Native American headdress and her mother Phoenix takes it a step further by having the ponytails on her shoulders. Phoenix will probably be redrawn soon, even though her recent drawing is really good despite the inaccuracy. I also drew her cause I just <3 Birds. Even though thier beaks really make it hard to consistently draw their faces. \n\nI guess since you all know Baiyo as well as I do, I'll just toss in some fun facts: \n\nTazyas don't have teeth....directly. They can firm up the inside of thier beak to simulate chewing food, but they never actually have visible teeth (their gums just become rock hard). This basically allows them to make thier beak really firm as well without having to deal with space for their teeth (which is retractable on most Starmaninjians) and fits with the shape as well. \n\nSpeaking of beaks, thier beaks are soft like lips and feel that way as well. THe hard separation is actually just the point where the feathers appear on the face, but the beak does have unusually textured skin to make it smoother in texture. \n\nTazyas are slightly bigger than Ratzus despite birds being quite small normally. That's mostly cause of thier leg design, thier feet are actually plantigrade, but they look like they have very long toes (they don't, it's just an illusion, they're too heavy to sit on branches anyway) So if they stand digitigrade like normal Stars, they become much taller. Their feet are extremely flexible though to make up for thier lack of hands. The back claw is purely for balance since thier legs are shaped awkwardly and their bodies are usually hunched forward.\n\nHow Baiyo got a sleeved shirt on is one of Starmaninja's many infinite mysteries.
