A Huge blizzard caused the lab to reach sub zero temperatures though, and while most of the other scientists escaped (to unknown parts), Spindice was trapped inside the lab. Forced to almost literally freeze to death. She felt cold and abandoned for many years, and unlike with Minnie's case, no one went back to save her cause they thought that she escaped and went elsewhere. Regardless, the lab was abandoned almost completely. With no one else around, Spindice made it her own home and grew used to the ice, gaining vast control over it. The factory now works somehow using ice as it's fuel, but has been buried for so long, you can't even see the facility above ground anymore, it's now at the base of the caverns of Polar Mountain, which Starky accidently lands in during his adventures.\r\n\r\nPersonality wise: Spindice used to be more outgoing, though quite serious, but lately, she has a much colder demeanor. She prefers to be alone if she can help it, and doesn't like when people visit her. This is mostly cause of the sense of abandonment she got and held for almost 2000 years. When she meets Starky and Gene, she attacks them both unmercifully cause Starky floods her home (unknowingly) and Gene reminds her of the scientists who abandoned her years ago. Despite this, both heroes manage to convince her that times have changed and they offer for her to have a better life than being locked up and alone. Spindice's heart warms up when she realizes that despite her brash actions, the two still care for her, but she admits she grew so used to the factory, she couldn't possibly leave it. Instead, she creates an entrance to allow people to visit and makes snowcones and other ice related products there. Gene also helps her keep company by sending some people who like the ice settings to help her out. So in the end, her story has a happy ending and she becomes more friendly as a result.\r\n\r\nPower wise: She clearly has the power of ice, but she also can use her pointed legs as spears to stab people or even carry her around. They can retract somewhat so she doesn't feel so clustered, but she can also grow several hundred times her size to her Tarantula form to wreak havoc if she feels like (this is how you fight her in both games). Her attacks mostly consist of icicle spears and such, but ironically, her weakness isn't fire. That's the only hint I'm going to give to you! Hehehe! (Using fire against her is a very bad thing. Her exoskeleton resists it like it's nothing and the ice perspiration all over her body will merely turn to water as she blasts you in retaliation, and you do NOT want that to happen cause then you'll be easier to freeze.)\r\n\r\nFinal point, her body is mega shiny because she has a thin layer of ice all over her body. Her body feels like frozen glass actually and is very VERY tough.
