I just realized I've been doing a lot of Green and purple lately.... Just noticed.\n\n5. Yeah, so quick review on mechanical colored pencils... Stick to the $2 crayola ones. The mechanical ones seem convenient, but they break very often if you apply any pressure, and it costs a TON to get more \"leads\". It's not made of the same wax as regular colored pencils and is too thin. My green broke when I was coloring her wing and when I got home to finish with a regular colored pencil, the color was so much thicker, I had to go over everything with it again. Also, the Red looks too much like hot pink, and I couldn't get a dark red effect with it. So yeah. I'd love to recommend it, but....eh... you can find good quality colored pencils for a dollar at some stores. OH and speaking of colored pencils. The trick to sharpening them. Twist the sharpener, NOT the pencil. Let the sharpener do the work.
