Kimberly Delorry's legendary Pokémon partner, Gin.
Story:
Gin, like the very first Mewtwo that was created by Dr. Fuji in the Kanto region through the DNA of Mew, was one of many clone experiments inside the Unova region under the name "PJT-M22X". He was one of the few that had the allowance being outside of the research laboratory by the time he was still a little child, always having one of the professors as overseer that were involved in the cloning project. The team was replaced when the relation between PJT-M22X and the professors got stronger, causing the new team being abusive towards him and marking huge scars that are still visual on his face and chest. A long time passed by until one of the old team members that were involved inside the clone project helped him escape from the laboratory, but being unexperienced in fighting he didn't know where to go or what to do.
2 weeks later he was found by Kimberly Delorry and Jack Sparks inside a nearby forest and didn't hesitate taking care of him. Jack was mostly out of town due to his job as Pokémon Ranger while Kimberly, as Pokémon breeder, used her freetime not only to take care of the little one but also trained him to get his powers under control. He matured pretty fast from his outer look but remained unbehaved in personality, something that often causes problems for the young pair.
Relationship/s:
Gin has a close alliance towards Kimberly and Jack that often led to the nicknames "mother" and "father" when he was younger, and even nowadays Kimberly seems to be one of his most important individuals in his life. Though he is known as a legendary Pokémon which represents the first cloned Mewtwo of Kanto he acts more like a human than a Pokémon, causing him to wear human clothes which often leads to different reactions by others. Still he's highly accepted and respected by both humanity and it's own kind.
Personality:
Calm and curious but also serious and willing to protect those he's close with. He loves to spend a lot of time studying different myths from Unova and all the other regions while trying to train his psychic powers to proof that he hasn't forgotten his origins. Being less talkactive than others he often seems to be pretty conceited at first glance, but it won't take too long to break the ice and make him talk actually pretty much. Gin often tends to be childish when Kimberly's cousine Cho-Cho and her Shaymin are coming to a visit, always causing big trouble because of the cocky behaviour Cho-Cho's Shaymin has and making Gin acting exactly the same way. Shiroi, the albino Mew who's the legendary partner of Jack Sparks, is probably the only one that makes him rage because of her talk-a-lot-and-being-more-experienced-than-you kind of personality she has, but nonetheless all three of them are working hand in hand when help is needed. It is well known that Gin has some strong feelings for Kimberly due to the fact she spent most of her time being there for him, he even shares the same bed with her when Jack needs to be out of town for a long time so she doesn't feel all too alone. Oh yeah, never mention food near him; he will make sure you'll never beat his cooking skills.
Nickname Origin:
"Gin" is the Japanese word for "Silver" which was chosen by Kimberly. She felt that the name suits him well due to his scars on his body which sometimes appear silverish when the sunlight is shining bright and hitting their direction.
