Multicolored flashed of lights lanced through the room as the very air pulsated with the heavy thump of the bass. Music blasting loud, smog rolling off of the stage and over the floor as forms danced to the beat. Streaks of fluorescent colors being swung about as the songs went on and on. 

A soft twirl of his friend as she spun away from him and a flick of his wrist brought the folf back to him; a chuckle coming from the draolf as he started to dance once more. Glowsticks adorning Kaji's body; one hanging from his neck, illuminating his black fur with a bright sky blue. Two more hanging from his wrists; green streaks of color swirling through the space around him as he continued to dance. 

His dancing partner; a new found friend, and fellow hybrid, danced with him. White glowsticks hanging from her wrists as Onai had a bright green one hanging from the collar on her neck. Her eyes closed as she was pulled into another spin from the draolf; a bright laugh flitting from her mouth before she leaned in close. Looking up at Kaji, she jerked her head towards the side of the dance floor and started to weave her way through the dancing crowd. 

His ears perked up as he followed the shorter hybrid through the crowd, sliding past two felines getting a bit too personal for the dance floor and the draolf let out a small huff at that before he trotted over to his dance partner. He fell down into a chair, and arched a wing around to block the sound a bit as he leaned over the table towards her. “So? Ya havin' fun?” A wolfish grin playing over his muzzle as he let out a soft laugh. 

Onai let out a laugh, her pale blue eyes sparkling as she nodded eagerly. “Totally! How about yourself?” She gnawed on the edge of a cup a bit before taking a drink from it as the draolf across from her let out a soft chuckle. 

“What better way to spend a Friday night than out with friends, hm?” He twirled a wrist, and caught the string on his finger; twirling the glowstick in a lazy loop before his ears perked up once more. “Oh! Good song! C'mon!” He reached over and grabbed onto Onai's arm; literally dragging her onto the dance floor once more. 

Being over a foot shorter than Kaji, Onai didn't have much of a choice in staying in that chair as she let out a yelp when she was pulled out of it. “Kaji!” A flurry of colors spilled into her vision as she stopped in the middle of the dance floor. Her vision swirled for a second before  she shook her head and gave a small glare at the draolf... who was already dancing the night away. 

Piano flowed through the air for a moment; Kaji's eyes flicking down to the folf before his wrists flicked softly. Sparks of lightning flowed up his arms and then vanished into the field of darkness that covered the draolf. The piano died away and the song burst into the beat as the dance floor shook with the dancing paws and feet. 

A burst of light as it refracted off of the glass on the ceiling, filling the room with a prismatic array of colors as both hybrids started to dance once more in the middle of the dance floor. Sometimes, to forget ones problems. All ya gotta to is dance the night away. Or do somethin' fun to take your mind off of things. The point is, don't get bogged down on what went wrong. Just keep your mind set on how it's going to be when it's set right.
