XD\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t", "writing": "Kaji let out a cough as he pushed himself back up to his feet to watch the sultry phoenix walk away. “Damn, she hits hard,” grumbled the draolf as he put a hand against the wall; pushing himself up to his two paws as he looked around the cavern. “Okay, now I know how I got here...now how about a way to get home,” mumbled Kaji to himself as he started to follow the entourage that was following Contessa. It wasn't hard not to know where they were going, the clicks of her claws and her followers' hooves made it quite clear which caves they were going down.\n\nWith his attention on how hard Contessa slammed her elbow into his gut, he wasn't noticing the pictures that he was passing by. The family line of Contessa; her relatives that looked like they were all made to be in model magazines but went into the battlefield. When he actually started to notice, he saw a huge door in front of him and it baffled him how people actually opened the damn thing until he noticed that some minotaurs were entering through a smaller door in the lower corner of the really huge doors. There wasn't really anything special about how the doors were made, they were just made of wood. Seemingly normal wood.\n\nA hand still rubbing where her elbow slammed into his gut; he found himself in the war hall of their little base and that everyone was look at him like he wasn't supposed to be there. \"Uhh... I'll just go back outside,\" said Kaji a bit slow as he started to take steps backwards to head back out of the door. \n\n\"Wait,\" said Contessa as she rested her hands on the table in front of her. It extended a good ways away from her; stopping about five feet from Kaji and he was a good twenty feet away from her. \"You have skills in fighting, I'll give you that.\"\n\nKaji arched an eyebrow and turned around; a grin forming on his muzzle as he said, \"Oh? I do, do I? And why do you say that?\" He brought the hand away from his stomach and crossed both arms over his chest. His wings flare out slightly and then contract back to his back as he waited for an answer.\n\nYou could tell that she didn't want to ask the question that she was about to ask Kaji, but she had no choice. He put one of her generals out of commission, and at a rather fast pace as well.\"I need a new general, and since you're the one who took out my higher ranking one; I would like for you to be my new general.\"\n\nKaji blinked a bit and then arched another eyebrow, \"That idiot was a general? And if he was your highest ranked, I would really hate to meet your other generals. Cause... he wasn't' that powerful really.\" He took him out with one punch to the gut, even Dalaraga could take a few of those head on before asking for some sort of mercy. His tail swayed behind with a look of slight concentration on his face, and before Contessa was about to yell at him to make up his mind, he said, \"I'll do it. I'll be your new general.\" Hell, he'd already been one on the other planet he was taken to. \n\nContessa was about ready to spit a few good curse words at the insult to her general when Kaji accepted the position, and she just blinked a few times. \"If you're going to become a general under my command. You're going to have to dress a lot more appropriately for battle.\" She gestured to the tatters of clothing that he was wearing, and it didn't cover much really. \n\nKaji looked down and laughed slightly; his cheeks burning red under that black fur of his. \"Alright, you wanted more appropriate fighting clothes? You got 'em.\" He closed his eyes, the air around him rippling his heat before a pyre of flames encompassed him and soon died down within a minute. Leaving Kaji clothed, black shorts hanging down past his knees a short ways and a black vest on his torso with holes in the back for his wings. \"That better?\" His tail swung to and fro behind him as he glanced at Contessa. \n\nThe pyre of flames caused everyone in the room to covered their eyes, but Contessa didn't look away. She didn't see the harm of fire as she was a phoenix and they were ones with the element. \"And you're extremely flashy. Great.\" She clicked her beak in annoyance before waving a hand to bring Kaji closer to her; he needed to know the battle plan. She shook her head as she muttered to herself in her head; mainly about if this was a good idea or not. \n\nKaji's claws clicked against the rocky floor as he headed close to the table; glares from the other generals were shooting towards him. He shrugged them off as he looked up at Contessa and asked, \"So, what're we up against. Elementals, other anthros, or what?\" Maybe he has some knowledge of fighting these baddies that he could pass onto these. \n\n\"Demons,\" stated Contessa as her eyes looked up at Kaji while keeping her head pointed down towards the map. Her feathered hand brushed over the parchment that was laying in front of her. \"The renegades of a devilish pack of spawn that torments this land and is growing steadily larger with each passing day.\" She looked up at Kaji and asked, \"Is there anyone that you know that could come and help us? Or do we only have you as our aide.\" She spoke with an angry and sarcastic tone with the last part of that statement and it made the corner of Kaji's muzzle twitch. \n\n\"In fact I do have someone that I could bring here, but alas. I'd rather not have him hear this briefing. He'd probably run out of here to find something more interesting to do. Not that I'd blame him, listening to people talk isn't that greatest joy in life.\" Sarcasm fights sarcasm, and Kaji just grinned slightly as he walked closer to the table and looked down at the map. \"And, let me guess. We're going to try and beat them before the third sun comes up right? Or just fight 'em all day.\" He put his hands into his pockets, his thumbs hooking onto the pocket coverings as he looked at Contessa. \n\nThe phoenix clicked her beak in agitation and then she gritted her teeth slightly. \"Fine. You can bring help later. Just... let me get on with the meeting.\" He cast a look at the other generals and muttered under her breath about the sea of testosterone that she was swimming in at the moment. With a sigh to collect her breathe, she looked up and said, \"The demon's came is sitting on the far east side of the Sulfyre Valley. We need to get in there and take them out. There have been rumors that they are tunneling into the volcano that they are based on; using that as cover for when the Third Sun rises up into the sky.\" She looked over at the minotaur to her left and said, \"You need to clear those tunnels out before the Sun rises and we can use them for our cover.\" \n\nShe swung her head to look up at Kaji and she said with a grin, \"You are out front line. Get in there fast and take out as many demons as you can. And some of them might be a little immune to fire, so I hope you have some tricks up your sleeve Kaji.\" \n\n\tThe draolf huffed slightly and muttered, \"Wouldn't you like to know.\" His wings shook with agitation as he then brought a hand behind his back; flexing it as lightning coiled around his fingers and then fizzled out. Damn... must be the rock or something... \n\nContessa looked at the other two generals and said, \"You two are our back up and long range offense. Make sure our backs are clear and our troops well kept.\" The Naga and gryphon nodded and then headed off to meet with their armies as Contessa looked at Kaji. \"Would you like to meet your army? Or just assert your dominance over them like you did their previous general.\" \n\nKaji watched the other two leave and then looked back at the phoenix with a \"Huh?\" when he heard that he was being talked to. \"If you don't mind, I'd rather just work alone with whatever help I bring with me. Commanding an army wasn't my biggest asset when I was on another planet fighting in their war.\" He gave a smile and then looked around, \"And I'd like to be shown out of this place if you don't mind. Rapid explosions that gave the impression of machine guns firing kept on echoing in the distance as Contessa then turned around; flaming flowing down her arms as she smiled and then two swords formed in her hands. Curved blades that has spikes running down the fronts of them. She pumped one of them into the air; the army responding with a war whoop. She repeated the process thrice more before she turned around and pointed in the direction of the demon camp and yelled out, \"Charge!!\"\n\nThe entire army rushed past Kaji; the draolf having to fold his wings in tightly as he stepped out of the way of the stampeding army with Contessa in the air leading them to their fight. With the draolf along finally, he sighed a bit and ran a hand through the fur on his head. \"Why do I always get picked to lead things that I don't want to,\" muttered the dracolupine. He looked out into the distance and spotted the red sun in the horizon; the golden hue of his eyes shifting and turning more crimson as he grinned and said, \"Now to summon an good friend.\" \n\nVines of fire spiraled down his arms, collecting in the palms of his hands as he formed an orb of it in front of him. \"Alright, Leon. Time for you to help me out,\" said Kaji as he then slammed the ball of fire into the ground; a bright light enveloping him as he stood back up and moving back a good few steps. He brought up an arm to block the light from his eyes, but something grabbed his wrist and pulled him down to look into his eyes. \n\n\"Why the hell did you bring me here!?\" yelled Leon as he glared at Kaji; causing the draolf to chuckle slightly. Leon was a fire fox, and not to be confused with a fox that just flings fire spells around. Leon was a real walking, talking, breathing furnace of fiery power and that's why Kaji liked him.
