There is no opening on the cross where the blood can come out, and no opening at the base for it to drain into, and occasionally human bones will bob to the surface then disappear but are never seen coming out of the cross or going into the ground at the end of the flow. \n It's a mystery that may well never be answered because once it begins it is watched over by Boneclaw, the Wraith who guards the cemetery from any and all interlopers no matter who or what. Normally free to roam the universe as he pleases, on this one day he is bound to remain and keep The Flow undisturbed for the entire day, sometimes with a gentle warning and playful pat on the rear to full on rage, rending and tearing to pieces those who assault The Cemetery with force or malicious intent.
