to two people who did as much to make Dr.WHO the legend it is and has become,the composers of the haunting and stunningly beautiful electronic score, Ron Grainer and Delia Derbyshire at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.\nWhat you might NOT know is that while Grainer was the actual composer of the music it was Derbyshire who,by cutting and splicing literally hundreds of hours of tape looped melodies and electronic sound effects was the one who created the original classic version. \n Grainer was amazed at the resulting piece of music and when he heard it, famously asked, \"Did I write that?\". Derbyshire modestly replied \"Most of it\".
