  "description": "I WAS going to do a tribute piece to Chuck Berry but then someone even more important to me personally passed away and I HAD to do a piece honnoring him.\n Bernard Albert \"Bernie\" Wrightson aka Bernie Wrightson was one of those amazing artists who could literally make a drawing not just come to life but LIVE!!  He and a VERY few others showed me the power of black and white and how just a few lines on paper could capture every emotion a human OR monster could experience and make the VIEWER feel them too.  And he created some of the most memorable  and unusual characters ever to grace both the printed page AND the movie screen, my favorite being Hanover Fist, much abused sidekick of THE most corrupt and wicked man in the galaxy Capt, Lincoln Stern, immortalized in probably THE best segment of the movie Heavy Metal!  Except for the ending, it's a PERFECT take from the comic it was taken from. :D\n\nSO for this VERY meager remembrance we have a few quick sketches of Hannover Fist and his famous line from Heavy Metal and a VERY sad little green bunny who makes the pilgrimage to a waterlogged graveyard once a year to pay his respect to an artist / writer who inspired HIS creator accompanied by an equally sad creature of the swamps.\n\nToxy, DEADLAND, all art and words  c. 2017  @KNIFE\n\nSwamp Thing Hannover Fist  and Capt Lincoln Stern are   c. 2017 Bernie Wrightson     R.I.P.
