Wanting comfort from his Jungle mother Rhea, he was about to wake her when he spotted a soft pink cave on her rear side that looked inviting. Simba hadn't been given the talk about \"When two lions love each other very much\" speech that cubs far older than himself were told about. So, with curiosity, he crawled into the soft tunnel wondering what the cave inside looked like. This sent Rhea into a state of pleasure as she slept. It didn't take long for Simba to settle into the tiny den that was Rhea's womb. He soon felt very warm, safe and protected, and passed out into a peaceful slumber, barely flinching in his sleep as an umbilical chord attached to him. Outside, Rhea unconsciously pulled her daughter Mara into a hug. In a sense, the whole family was cuddled together now. When Rhea and Mara awoke the next morning, Rhea realized that she was pregnant with Simba, because, one, her tummy was round for pregnancy, her teats were leaking milk, and Simba was nowhere in sight. She knew Simba wasn't one who wanted to wander far from her and her daughter, cause he found the Jungle quite scary, since he was not familiar with how to navigate it. Mara felt her mother's tummy, she had always said she wanted a little brother, and she thought adopting Simba was enough, but this made it more official that she would be a big sister. No random mother lioness could come and take her brother away now.
