While she spent time at the park, she had come across a 4 year old tot at the park by himself, diapered and all, and with no parents in sight. After nicely asking the boy where his parents were, he revealed that he was an orphan, and that the \"caretakers\" as they called themselves, left him behind and could care less about them. After taking some consideration, she informed authorities she would be taking the boy under her charge and become his legal guardian. While some found the fact that she was adopting a human a little odd, there was nothing in the laws that said she couldn't, and it wasn't unheard of. So, after getting through the paperwork, Minnie brought the little boy to her home in Hot Dog Hills. There, his tummy betrayed him and revealed he hadn't had a good meal yet, and knowing that he was still a tot, she decided to play it safe til she was able to visit the doctor, and allowed the young boy to nurse from her for nourishment.
