"description": "This is how I organized my fantasy world in terms of what is associated to what. These are only default elements, and any of them can learn any of the other elements, but their nature is most aligned to the default.\n\nFor sphinx, just picture said feline having wings, as this is how I chose to depict sphinxes, in order to not just make them plain feline furries, although I could have. I thought sphinxes were more interesting.\n\nI only drew the dragons because they were the only ones that weren't really generic and I had to make my own version of them, though they are based on a lot of the common dragons I know. The idea I had was that they have 3 different types of integument: scales, fur, or feathers, and they are either the lizard kind of dragon, or a serpent (snake).\n\nThe first one is the fire dragon, the scale lizard, pretty much your standard Western dragon.\n\nSecond is water, the fur serpent, it was inspired by sea serpents, but given fur to match the pattern and also because I made water part ice.\n\nThird is wind, feather lizard, which is pretty much a bird. To differentiate it from the avians, I designed it after an archaeopteryx and gave it feather ears.\n\nFourth is earth, scale serpent, pretty much a standard depiction of a wyrm.\n\nFifth is life, feather serpent, which you might recognize as being Quetzalcoatl.\n\nSixth is metal, fur lizard. It is a lot like a Chinese dragon, except it is more like a lizard instead of a serpent. I gave it spiral horns a lot like the pokemon Cobalion or some forms of antelope because they resembled lightning bolt symbols. For this one, the bat wings are sort of justified because I gave it mammalian traits.\n\nSeventh is my aether dragon. It is a creature of pure energy that I made very whispy and has the traits of both kinds of dragon.\n\nI forgot to mention that in this world, there exists what I call \"aether creatures\", beings of pure energy that are color coded to the element they possess.\n\nRed is fire\nIndigo is water\nCyan is wind\nOrange is earth\nGreen is life\nYellow is metal\nPurple is aether\n\nAll aether creatures are feral in design. Seluna is the Moon Rabbit, which I took the interpretation of the moon controlling water. I only drew the dragons because they were the only ones that weren't really generic and I had to make my own version of them, though they are based on a lot of the common dragons I know. The idea I had was that they have 3 different types of integument: scales, fur, or feathers, and they are either the lizard kind of dragon, or a serpent (snake).
The first one is the fire dragon, the scale lizard, pretty much your standard Western dragon.
Second is water, the fur serpent, it was inspired by sea serpents, but given fur to match the pattern and also because I made water part ice.
Third is wind, feather lizard, which is pretty much a bird. To differentiate it from the avians, I designed it after an archaeopteryx and gave it feather ears.
Fourth is earth, scale serpent, pretty much a standard depiction of a wyrm.
Fifth is life, feather serpent, which you might recognize as being Quetzalcoatl.
Sixth is metal, fur lizard. It is a lot like a Chinese dragon, except it is more like a lizard instead of a serpent. I gave it spiral horns a lot like the pokemon Cobalion or some forms of antelope because they resembled lightning bolt symbols. For this one, the bat wings are sort of justified because I gave it mammalian traits.
Seventh is my aether dragon. It is a creature of pure energy that I made very whispy and has the traits of both kinds of dragon.
I forgot to mention that in this world, there exists what I call "aether creatures", beings of pure energy that are color coded to the element they possess.
Red is fire
Indigo is water
Cyan is wind
Orange is earth
Green is life
Yellow is metal
Purple is aether
All aether creatures are feral in design. They look like this. (note: I am Jukain, I lost my email password)
The linked picture is specifically of Seluna, one of the 7 Aspects, which are the most powerful aether creatures of each respective element. Seluna is the Moon Rabbit, which I took the interpretation of the moon controlling water. (this is also why rabbit is aether element by default)
