He knew it wasn’t much further, then, and just a few steps past that odd looking tree, there was a small thicket of bushes. Taking in a breath, KC rumbled forward and right through the bushes, finding them so thick with leaves and stems that it was sometimes hard to breathe in them.\n\n“Ahhhh…whew! Made it through again…” KC let out a breath and cheered himself on. Just on the other side of the bushes was perhaps the most secluded clearing in what was easily twenty square miles of forest, one that, to the best of his knowledge, only he knew about. In this clearing, the canopy of the trees thinned out greatly, and light shone on the tall, soft grasses that lay within. It was what was at the center of this clear that intrigued him the most, however; a circle of small, perfectly rounded stones rested in the very center of the clearing, surrounding a marble table, not much taller than a headstone upon a grave. Finally, built up upon that table was a large ring of onyx stones, just as perfectly round as the ones on the ground, and within the ring, a light, milky blue aura crept and swirled around, entrancing anyone who came near it to enter. Nothing but black emptiness as far as KC could see, and no exit that he could fathom, either.
