Despite the shit he did irl, Thriller is still one of my top 10 fave albums. It’d be a chance to see his dance moves in animated format. And besides, what else would I watch while waiting for the latest episode of Blue Bloods? 😆\n\nSo yeah, for the most part, the tv special really sucked. The music was great, because they obviously used MJ’s songs (both full and instrumental versions) as the score. However, there was so much else wrong with it. The last dance sequence featured random zombie children you never saw prior in the special being cured by MJ’s dance moves (I mean, fucking really? 😒Where did all those random kids come from, and just why?) Most of the characters were blander than margarine. The dialogue was paint-by-numbers predictable. The dog’s (Ichabod) hairstyle was utterly stupid (and why does a pet character need a hairstyle?!). The animation was choppy. I mean, it’s as if the morons responsible for “Norm of the North” were responsible for this stinker.
