Chapter 6: The king of Savanna City The first thing Scar did was return to Outlands with the news. Everyone was already certain that the dark lion had won the competition but the new position offered to him was a surprise that he couldn’t wait to share with them. The young lions who already knew we asked to keep quiet while Scar gathered his friends and employees. “Patriarch…holy moly…” Shenzi put most of their thoughts into words. “So…what does this mean for us?” Banzai couldn’t help but ask. He was very proud of his friend but became concerned about their future. “If you’re the new patriarch, who’s gonna run things around here?” They couldn’t imagine anyone else putting in the same amount of time, effort, and care that Scar had. “The Outlands have thankfully stabilized and should not need as much direct leadership, but I was hoping you three alongside Timon, Pumbaa, Nuka and Kovu could take care of the day to day issues and forward anything critical for me to take care of until you have better understanding how to run the Outland.” Scar laid out his plan. “That…sounds doable actually…” Shenzi noted. “The goal is to allow my sons to run the business mostly on their own.” He did want Ed and Banzai and some others to move in with him for his own private use, but given the unexpected shift that would be some months away at least. “You sound like you have a big plan.” Shenzi noted. And she was right, but the dark lion wasn’t ready to reveal it yet. He wanted to make a home for his family and friends that was separate from the businesses, it would help them separate work and free-time much better, which had always sort of melded together. While being named patriarch was unexpected, the position would give him the power and resources to give his friends and family long term stability and comfort that would last beyond his reign and their lifetimes. Having the support of Prideland and Outland as well were a major help as well. Over the coming months, Scar worked harder than ever to ensure that everything would run smoothly when he fully accepted the role of patriarch. Mohatu assisted with the power he still wielded as reigning head of the powerful family and when things got too stressful Ahadi and Mufasa were nearby. Scar made great progress in a surprisingly short amount of time: With the help of the Breakers, Ahadi’s shady network of crooked investors was fractured into pieces. Reform was given to the Pridelands as well, giving the employees there the benefits and reward system offered at the Outlands. This relaxed a lot of the previously overworked and mistreated staff at the Pridelands, ranging from escorts, security, and even the bar staff. Prideland’s strict code of conduct was also relaxed a bit as well, allowing for more acts to be performed, but it was still kept tighter than Outland, keeping it’s image as a high-class gentlemen's club intact. It was a change many had looked forward to and the new range of exotic non-lionesses who were brought in greatly revitalized the stagnating business again. While Scar worked the business side of things, Mohatu oversaw the education and training of the younger lions. Simba had already proven himself to be a quick learner but the other three proved to be just as clever. Their Clan District background also gave them a different perspective that allowed them to see and solve problems in unique ways. Mohatu was very impressed by their creativity: creating solid solutions while also being frugal with resources and money given for the exercise. Simba was impressed and had been a little jealous until the others offered to teach the Pride District born lion their ways. He in turn taught them all about their family history and the values and insight that had been passed down from generation to generation in their family. The younger lions often got some private time with Mufasa or Ahadi as a reward and to further their sexual experience and education. Some from Outland were occasionally invited and taught their own style of sexual acts. They would stick around for a bit and catch up with the young lions, being glad that they were treated well and learning more. Of course the previously impoverished Clan District lions were awestruck from being brought into the luxurious environment and lifestyle of their Pride District family. Despite being a bit pampered and receiving gifts beyond their wildest dreams, like Simba the others hadn’t become spoiled or entitled. They were grateful to have the opportunity and gifts that Mohatu had given them. Scar was a bit against all the gift-giving Mohatu did, but his grandfather said if he couldn’t spoil his great grandchildren a bit then who could he spoil? The dark lion had to give in on that argument. Mufasa and Ahadi saw the storm of changes that Scar brought about and were both stunned that mostly everything landed right as it should. The two continued to serve out their punishments, being at the beckoned call of their family members and whoever else was given authority over them. Being used by so many was a humbling experience, especially for Mufasa. His arrogance was chipped away more and more as he learned an escort’s job wasn’t as easy as he had previously thought it was and along the way a more submissive side had been brought out of him. Of all the available partners, his favorite was Scar by far. Ahadi needed more work done to him, but he soon learned his place as well. Alongside the new position as personal toy, the lion’s stubbornness fell away as well and he began to attend some therapy. It was clear that he had a past with another male that he refused to talk about, but the name he had let slip had let the lion family fall into a variable rabbithole as they investigated it. It was a fake name belonging to one an instructor that Mohatu had hired for Ahadi when he was young for a short time, but fired because of the lack of progress. The old lion hadn’t thought further of him, but as they investigated “Tamu” and his chameleon-like ability to shift identities they noticed a sickly pattern, Mohatu realized his mistake and what likely had happened to his son. Ahadi was not the first and far from the last child “Tamu” had abused, but the family vowed he was not going to get away with it any longer. Ahadi saw Scar enter his chambers and sighed as he began taking his clothes off, his son never came for just a social visit, but to his surprise he asked him to put his clothes back on. “I don’t like you…and I will likely never fully acknowledge you as my father, but you are family…” The dark lion handed his father some photos. Ahadi recognized the individual tied to a chair, it was Tamu, he looked terrified. The next image was of him clearly after a beating of a life-time and the last was of him in a hospital bed in a coma. “He will never hurt you or anyone else again…” Was all Scar said before he left the room. It was the most amount of care Ahadi had ever experienced from his other son. His family had taken revenge on the man who had haunted his dreams ever since cubhood on his behalf. Ahadi never directly thanked any of them for what they had done, but Scar did find an unmarked letter with the simple phrase “I’m sorry.” in his room. It seemed his father was too troubled to address him directly, but that was fine… “Ahadi. Mufasa.” Mohatu addressed a few weeks later. “Your shared punishment is finally over and the two of you have shown that the lesson has been learned.” Mufasa had made more progress but after they got revenge on Tamu, Ahadi had had a tonal shift. He too became more submissive and didn’t complain nearly as much. They both gracefully accepted their new roles as majordomos, heads of the servants, as they would need to earn back a lot of trust and goodwill before they could be trusted with any other position. Having enacted many changes that benefited so many, Scar felt that it was finally time for him to step back. Though a part of him always wanted the praise of proving those who doubted him wrong. But now he was beyond that, having raised brilliant children, ensured the prosperity of his friends, and now he had more than any one lion could wish for. As he finally retired to the new family estate as the new patriarch he found Zazu’s clan had already moved in, serving as the family’s personal servants and Zazu temptingly offered to escort him to the master bedroom to finally “relax” after all he had accomplished. Scar knew that special tone in Zazu’s voice, it mean he had something special prepared for him, the dark lion however did not to be led into the darkened room and unto his bed only for the lights to turn on and most of the males of Zazu’s clan naked and ready to serve him. Zazu revealed that the bird clan decided to pledge themselves to Scar personally for all that he had done for them and for the bond he and they shared. They would always be there for him when he needed it, but first they wanted to surprise him and help him release all his built up stress. If Scar had died that night, he would have died a very happy lion, but despite being pushed to his limits with so many partners he just fell asleep deeply content surrounded by the softest featherty bodies pressed against his own. That same night a very nervous Mufasa knocked on the door to the room shared by Simba and Kopa. As his grandfather said, it would not be an easy thing. He was just short of knocking but something kept him from following through. “I have only one son.” Those words said by him replayed in his mind, bringing a heavy sense of guilt with it. “It’s not too late, y’know.” The golden lion nearly jumped out of his pelt but sighed in relief when seeing it was only Shenzi. “I’ve seen many fractured families, a lot of them way worse than yours.” “Oh really?” Mufasa asked. “And how is that?” “I went to school for psychology but never finished,” the hyena admitted. “There’s a lot of people in the clan district that need help and it seems there’s a few in the Pride District too.” Though not officially certified, that didn’t stop her from seeking out and helping those who really needed it. But streetside therapy wasn’t paying the bills back then. Maybe it was about time she finally got that degree… “Just take the chance, sun-fur. There’s worse things than rejections. And even if he doesn’t truly accept you, that doesn’t mean you can’t be there for him,” Shenzi told him. Mufasa nodded in understanding. Really, there was a 50/50 chance that his sons would forgive him. But either way he was going to be the father the both of them needed. He didn’t really have an excuse, his brother cared for them while managing Outland during its growth phase, it was really only his own reluctance holding him back. Taking a deep breath, Mufasa finally knocked on the door to his sons’ shared room. “Come in,” the voice responding was Kopa’s, making the older lion gulp. He stepped inside to find the pair of golden younger lions. Some time had passed and they certainly looked a bit older, with Kopa’s mane being more defined and Simba finally gaining the start of his own. “Simba. Kopa…” Mufasa addressed them both. “I know this may be sudden and I’m not sure how to properly do this so… I’m sorry. Towards the both of you I was terribly wrong. Simba I could never truly make up for the neglect I’ve shown you and Kopa…to shun my own son. I know it’s something truly unforgivable.” Simba and Kopa listened to their biological father, hardly believing that these words were actually being spoken. And the look of regret on their father’s face was clear enough to see. The two of them looked at each other, having nearly the same expressions. “I know what I ask sounds impossible but I hope it’s not too late to be your father. I don’t intend to take you away from my brother. I’ve accepted that he’s more of a parental figure than I’ll ever be. All I want is the chance to be there for you two, in any way that I can,” Mufasa finished. There was a long silence in the room. Mufasa wasn’t expecting much, having made peace with the chance that he would be rejected by both of his sons. They were getting older, Kopa reaching his teenage years, and it was rather late for him to become involved… “Mufasa…” Kopa said first. Hearing his name spoken painted a grim picture but Mufasa still heard his son out. “You’re right. It does sound impossible but…I don’t want to spend my entire life hating you. Whether I like it or not, we are family and should at least get to know each other.” “I always wanted the two of us to be close, even when you pushed me away,” Simba admitted. “I don’t think I can say I forgive you, but I’m willing to give it a chance too.” His grievances with Mufasa weren’t as extensive but he had good reason to shun his father as well. “...Thank you,” Mufasa told them. He knew being fully forgiven was too much to ask for but this was a start that he wanted to make good on. Knowing that it was rather late and they had their own tasks, the older lion didn’t intend to intrude on his sons’ lives. But he would spend more time with them and be there anytime they needed him. Both the Prideland and Outland were run from the new estate if there wasn’t need for someone to be present and with their elders guiding them Nuka and Kovu started getting hang of how to run Outland and Simba and Kopa learned how to operate Prideland, with the hyenas and the meerkat and warthog helping the former and the avian clan helping the latter respectively. It was a few weeks into the family moving into their new home that Mohatu decided to end Scar’s probation period as Patriarch and fully step down. “I honestly expected to have to hold onto my position until the next generation, but you turned out so different from Mufasa whose potential was dragged down by my son’s wayward ways.” Mohatu sighed relieved after he revealed this to Scar. “You have accomplished what few could and as such should be rewarded, but I must embarrassingly admit however, I don’t have any prize to give you for overcoming so many hindrances on your path here. If there is anything you can think of…” Mohatu trailed off. The dark lion had pretty much anything he could want, but there was something his younger self had always wanted that he knew he couldn’t have… Mohatu yelped a bit as his grandson pulled him in close unexpectedly. He had always respected his grandfather immensely…but he had also lusted for him sometimes… “You…I want you Mohatu…” The former patriarch blushed at the unexpected request, there was an aura of dominance about Scar that made him want to submit and be his, never in his life had the strong willed lion ever felt like that. “Then I offer my body to you,” Mohatu responded, his own voice taking on a sultry tone. The smirk Scar gave him made him shiver. “I’ll take your heart and soul too if I can.” The dark lion said as he dragged his grandfather towards the nearest bed to finally fulfill his youngest desire. The two of them passionately made love to each other until they were too tired to continue. Both had given and taken and Scar had indeed taken his grandfather’s heart and soul as well as his body. Mohatu had always dreaded a bit what he would do without a position in the family, but now he knew…he would be Scar’s. His aid, a willing ear, his grandfather, his lover. Months flew by and the younger lions grew into their roles as head of their family’s businesses, no longer needing the aid of the hyenas, the meerkat and warthog pair or Zazu’s clan so much anymore, allowing Scar to invite them to move into the lion’s family estate. “Oh come on…we’re not fancy enough to live in such a place…” Shenzi blushed. “But you are family friends…in fact…in some aspects I actually fully think of you as family.” Banzai choked as he heard that. “Aww, come on…we didn’t do much.” Timon said humbly. Even though he and Pumbaa were already thought of as unofficial uncles of the young lions. “You did far more than I could have ever asked of you. I would be honored if you would all accept an honorary spot in my family.” Scar offered. “Oh my…” The warthog said surprised. “Yeah…I don’t think he is kidding…” Banzai said in a shocked tone. Coming down from their shocks they all accepted, making the hyenas, Timon and Pumbaa and the bird clan, for whom Zazu accepted the offer as their representative, unofficial branches of Scar’s family. This ensured that they and anyone who came after them would be under the convoy of the lion’s family line. This gave them the protection and privilege that the lion family already enjoyed. Scar did warm them to not misuse the newfound power despite it being lessened a substantial amount for them. “You all deserve to live the life of luxury as much as I do,” the dark lion began his speech. “I couldn’t have gotten this far without your help. Starting my own business, finding my own lost children, and becoming the new Patriarch. I could never have dreamed of being where I am now.” The dark lion sighed “I am sorry Mahiri, the love I once so passionately held for you is long gone.” He apologized to her personally “But as the mother of my sons, there will always be a place for you here if you want or need it.” The lioness nodded in understanding, it was enough for her that he loved their children so dearly. Scar turned to the rest “Each of you has aided me, big or small in getting here, this achievement I truly only reached because of you.” There was a brief silence as everyone thought back on their journey here. “Thank you…all of you.” “Hail!” Banzai called out and the rest joined in. “Hail the patriarch of Savanna City!” They embarrassed the dark lion a bit by chanting. “So…now that you have time, what is the plan for expanding the harem?” Banzai asked with a smirk before getting pulled into a headlock. “Don’t push your luck…” Scar warned, but there was no edge in his voice. Scar had plenty in the hyenas who he had both taught and learned from, the adventurous meerkat and warthog, his lover Zazu and his affectionate clan, his dear sons whom each were growing into their own: Simba had become very comfortable in both sexual roles, Nuka had become much like himself, very dominant and only offering himself to a select few who had earned it, he was grateful to be among those numbers. Kovu was comfortable in both roles like Simba, but leaned more towards being submissive and Kopa who showed his true prowess when he got over his initial shyness, showing his incredible natural skills in both sexual roles. There was of course also his grandfather Mohatu, who seemed to find a new purpose at his side alongside Mufasa and Ahadi whom Scar had a feeling didn’t mind staying in their new roles nor as their family’s bedwarmers. Okay…maybe he had gathered somewhat of a harem…but it was completely unintentional. The dark lion didn’t know about the future, but his grandfather had assured him that he had already earned the right to the medicine he had taken to keep his body younger, but Scar wasn’t old enough just yet to take it. Ahadi would have to wait a little to take the lesser version of the medicine that paused his body at a later stage than the sought out one, but that was the best the former head of the family could get after his dishonorable reign. Mufasa’s future was a bit up in the air on that subject, but they would see if he could redeem himself enough. So far he was making good on his promise to just be there for his sons, spending time and getting to know them for real. Savanna City with both Pridelands and Outlands as its focal points entered into a new era and all involved were all living better lives than before. While some had completed their journeys others still had much left to do. Scar enjoyed his time off with all his lovers. Zazu enjoyed Scar’s company and seeing his clan start to rise again. Banzai and Ed picked up where Scar left off in improving the Clan District’s community and also cheered on Shenzi’s return to finish her education. Kovu and Nuka were running the club well, taking in all they learned from both districts to put their own spin on Outlands. Timon and Pumbaa took some time off to do some more traveling, but this time they had a place to return to and friends who would be welcoming them back. Simba did miss his roommates but had Kopa to keep him plenty of company, the two of them grew much closer to each other and their father as well. They were almost a normally functioning family save for the unusual way they often bonded, but given their family’s history as an escorting empire, it wasn’t out of the ordinary for the older lion to lift his tail for his pair of sons or service them in any way they wished. “So much free time…how shall one spend it?” Scar asked aloud, lying comfortably in his bed. The first arrival to answer his call was Zazu and some of his clan “Need some “service” my love?” He asked temptingly. The next to arrive were Ed and Banzai “How about pounding me and Ed into the bedding? Or you could take your time with us and take it nice and slow…you can have us howeeever you like.'' Banzai lewdly suggested, with Ed agreeing his own special way. Kopa and Simba were next “We’ve been good uncle…please reward us.” Simba said in an innocent yet very needy tone. The warthog and meerkat pair were the next on the scene. “We picked up some really neat tricks from the last place we visited…how bout we try them out?” Timon tempted the dark lion. “Let’s just say my skills with my tail have greatly increased.” The meerkat wiggled one of his eyebrows suggestively. With so many having arrived, it seemed unthinkable that more had heard the dark lion, but Nuka and Kovu arrived shortly after Timon had finished talking. “H-hey dad…can we join?” Kovu asked eagerly. “Yeah…I…I need you dad…” Nuka blushed a bit. “Oh please don’t start without me…I was starting to get a little bored myself.” Mohatu excused as he arrived, clearly eager to spend more time with his grandson. Zazu opened a door revealing Ahadi and Mufasa in the process of undressing, with their surprise ruined they quickly snapped collars on each other and got on their knees at the bedside. “Please use us, we still have a lot to make up for.” Mufasa said with an eager tone. “P-please…” Ahadi added in a needy tone. His times with his other son eased the pain of what Tamu had done to him in the past, letting him actually enjoy sex with another male and replace those bad memories with good ones. Scar looked over all his eager partners and smirked “I’ll have you all.”
