"writing": "  Nina stretched beneath the soft bedsheets and fought with herself.  She didn’t want to get up, she didn’t want to go to work.  The otter still felt so tired, like she hadn’t slept at all.\n\n   She pulled the sheets off of her head and looked at the floating neon green numbers that hovered above her bedside table.  Six fifty nine, one minute before the ear splitting electric beep of her alarm would begin.  She tapped the glass top of the small table, a soft chime ringing out to let her know the alarm had been re-set.  There was no use waiting for it to go off, she was already up.\n\n   With a groan the otter sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes, swinging her toned, thickly furred legs to dangle over the floor.  Rays of light invaded her dark bedroom through gaps in the curtained window, their beams falling upon the empty spot where her girlfriend should be.  It didn’t look like she had ever bothered going to bed last night.  The otter ran her webbed fingers through buzz cut head fur and groaned, rising to her bare foot paws.  She headed for the bathroom, her thick rudder like tail dragging across the wooden floor behind her.  “Dammit Allie, you lazy fucking bitch,” she muttered grumpily.  “How are you gonna apply for jobs if you never sleep?”\n\n   Nina had been trying to get her girlfriend out of the house for months now.  Ever since the pudgy badger had gotten herself fired from her burger flipping job at McDougal’s the only thing Allie had done was sit on the living room couch with a VR headset on her head.  With only Nina’s paycheck to sustain them both the bills had begun to pile up, and the otter was becoming increasingly frustrated and burnt out. \n\n  Nina shuffled groggily into the small bathroom and leaned against the counter, her head hovering just above the sink.  She cupped her hands beneath the faucet, letting the cool, clear water pool there before splashing it into her face.  “Ugh wake up girl, get it together,” she groaned, rising from the sink to arch her back.  Water dripped down onto her white top, forcing the heavy fabric to press flat against perky, gum drop breasts like a second skin.  Her nipples grew stiff from the cool water, easily visible through the now translucent top.  Nina stood there for a moment with her arms raised high, twisting her waist and wriggling her paws, letting the stiff muscles snap and pop before allowing them to fall to her sides like limp noodles.\n\n   In her head Nina tried to psyche herself up for the stressful day ahead, but it wasn’t working.  She just needed to get it over with, but first a long, hot shower was in order.\n \n\n   “Hey, your gonna go apply for that warehouse job today right?  Allie?  ALLIE!?”\n\nThe heavyset badger Nina was trying to talk to was sprawled out on their living room couch, her head propped upon the armrest.  She sat up with a groan and reluctantly removed the slick black VR helmet that had been covering her head, releasing shoulder length hair that had been died neon green.  One side of her head had been shaved clean, giving her a punk rock look that was only further re-enforced by her nose ring.  She looked up at Nina from her seat on the couch and lazily scratched the bulging pot belly that escaped from the bottom of her ill-fitting purple tank top.\n\n  “Huh?  Did you say something babe,” she asked sleepily.\n\n  Nina sighed, rubbing the bridge of her muzzle.  She was ready to head out the door, already dressed in her green nursing scrubs.\n\n“I was asking about the job search.  You’re gonna go fill out some more applications today right?”\n\n“Oh, yeah I’ll do that tomorrow.  The new DeathSlayer DLC just dropped last night and I’m getting close to one hundred percenting it, and If I do that I get the legendary armor!  So excited!”\n\n  Nina growled, gritting her teeth, and thumped her thickly muscled tail against the hardwood floor in anger.  “No, you said that yesterday, and the day before that, AND the day before that.  You always have some damn excuse to sit on your ass with your face buried in that headset while I bust my ass to pay the bills, and I’m fucking fed up!  So get your ass out there today and fill out some applications or find another girlfriend to mooch off of!”\n\n  Nina stormed off towards the front door, tail thumping away behind her like a hammer, and grabbed her back pack.\n\n“Aww, come on!  Don’t be like that,” the badger whined, rising to her paws with a grunt of effort.  “Let’s talk about it.”\n\n  Nina flung the front door open, walked into the hallway of their small three family apartment building and stopped.  “There’s nothing to talk about.  Go out and look for a job TODAY or were through, I need you to prove to me that I’m not just some dope you’re taking advantage of, I need you to start HELPING me!”\n\n“What!?  Taking advantage of you?  I’d never do that to you Nina, I LOVE you.”\n\n  The otter sobbed, her ears wilting to the sides of her head like fallen leaves, and stood there in the doorway for a moment, her back turned to the flustered badger.  “Well I guess I’ll know for sure if that’s true tonight huh?”\n\n  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n \n\nThe heartache and doubt that filled Nina as she stepped onto the front stoop of their building wasn’t easy to shake.\n\n  “Did I do the right thing, did I overreact?  Is it really all over,” she wondered.\n\n  Deep down the otter hopped that this would shake Allie out of this lazy funk she had fallen into, but the uncertainty was eating away at her.\n\n  Nina took a deep breath, filling her lungs with crisp morning air, and did her best to calm the rapid beating of her heart.  She hated confrontations, they always left her feeling tense and anxious, but what else could she have done?\n\n  It took Nina a minute to get herself back together, but when she did the slick furred otter realized that there was something unusual happening in front of her red brick apartment building.\n\n  The normally quiet city street had become a parking lot.  Cars idled in uneven rows that extended as far as the eye could see in either direction.  Many of their occupants sat or leaned against their vehicles, while others gathered in small groups to talk.  Occasionally a desperate motorist somewhere in the pack would honk their horn in impotent rage, but it didn’t do them any good.\n\n  Nina started walking towards the bus stop at the end of her street, but she was beginning to think it wasn’t worth it, no bus could make it through this mess.  Up ahead of her she could see a few animal’s crowded around the open passenger car door of an old blue Bentford Roadmaster coupe.  They listened intently to the car’s radio, their faces full of concern.  One of them in particular, a rather attractive grey squirrel with bobcut hair, looked away from the middle aged hamster she had been talking with, her face breaking into a pleasant smile. \n\n  “Hey Nina,” she called out, waving one slender arm above her head.  “Is this crazy or what?”\n\n“Hey, what’s going on Pam?   Was there an accident,” asked Nina as the squirrel gave her a friendly hug which the otter halfheartedly embraced.  The soft red fabric of the squirrels dress, the smell of lavender perfume and the comfort of her soft furred arms made Nina feel better.  Pam was a good friend, and on a day like this she was glad to run into her. \n\n  “Nah, it’s some crazy riot.  Cops have the whole east end blocked off.”\n\n“What, really?  What are they rioting over?”\n\n“Nobody knows,” said Pam with a shrug.  “But it seems pretty serious, the radio just said their calling in the National Guard.”\n\n  “Shit, how am I gonna get to the hospital,” groaned Nina.  They’re gonna need everyone they can get.”\n\nThe squirrel fished her phone from the tasteful red Purrada purse hanging from her shoulder and tapped the screen with padded fingertips, frustration beginning to creep into her pretty face.  “Well id tell you to call and let them know you’ll be late, but there’s no cell service,” she grumbled, holding the thin metal framed glass screen to the otter’s face.  “See, no bars.  Been like that for about an hour now.”\n\n  Nina shook her head and looked up to the sky.  “Fuuuuccck,” she moaned, stress beginning to rise within her once again.  She watched drivers dart past them in antigravity powered luxury far above, their shadows flickering over them constantly like shooting stars.   “Ya know, its days like this that make me wish I owned a hover car.”\n\n  Pam let loose a snort of laughter, slapping her friend on the shoulder.  “Ha!  You and me both sister, this hunk of junk just isn’t worth keeping on the road anymore,” she said, nodding towards her beat up Bentford.  “I heard they’re gonna stop making replacement parts for them soon too.”\n\n“That obsolete rust bucket is still better than nothing.  If i have to ride the bus for much longer I’m gonna -------.”\n\nNina stopped talking, something wasn’t right.  Far off down the street the sound of metal crunching against metal, the squeal of tires against pavement and the terrified screams of hundreds erupted from the crowd.  Both women turned their heads in the direction of this commotion and froze with shock. \n\n  A bus was barreling down the street, plowing through the sea of vehicles that filled the two lane blacktop, sending them toppling into each other like children’s toys.  Nina recognized the massive yellow and white striped juggernaut that hurtled towards them, it was the 34 to Brentmore, the one she took to work every day.  As it barreled closer Nina gripped her friend by the paw and pulled her towards an ally.\n\n  “Come on, run!  We can’t stay here,” she cried, yanking the squirrel’s arm.  A panicked crowd engulfed them, flooding the sidewalk.  They were desperate to escape, knocking each other to the ground, climbing over each other, their eyes wide with panic.  Nina pushed her way through them, getting knocked around by countless shoulders and elbows.  She could feel Pam’s hand slipping from her own, tried to grip it tighter.  The squirrel struggled behind her, but the terrified mob was too much, and in the blink of an eye Nina felt her slip free.  When she turned around from the safety of the alleyway Pam was nowhere in sight. \n\n“Help, stop, Nina!  Nina heeelllp!” \n\n  Farther down the street a grey furred paw reached up from the frantic mob, waving franticly for a brief moment, and just with that glimpse Nina knew who it belonged to.  The otter watched helplessly as the massive metal machine barreled past her, its windows covered with blood.  The passengers seemed to be ripping each other apart, a blur of fur, jaws and claws that flashed past in a shower of sparks and metal.  Pam’s Roadmaster crashed onto its side and slid across the sidewalk like a blue bullet.  The otter shrieked, stumbled backwards onto the muddy ground and shivered with terror as the mass of metal rushed towards her face. \n\n  “Oh fuck, oh God’s, oh – oh fuck,” she panted, heart threatening to pound through her ribcage. It crashed into the ally’s entrance, bending the vehicles frame and cutting Nina off from the rest of the crowd.  Thick smoke began to curl from the mangled hood, and somewhere down the street a deafening explosion rang out, filling the sky overhead with fire and shards of shrapnel. \n\n  Beyond the smoking wreckage Nina could hear a crescendo of shouting, terrified screams and something else.  It was faint at first, drowned out by the louder cacophony, but it was growing closer with every passing second.  Sometimes it sounded like chattering, at other times it was an unhinged cackle, but mostly it was snarling, guttural noise. \n\n  Nina stood up as quietly as she could and backed her way down the alley, terrified of what might hear her, of whatever was making those primordial cries. \n\n“Pam!  Oh no,no,nooo!  Ok, ok just breathe Nina,” she panted under her breath.  “What do you need to do now?”  The words vibrated out of her trembling lips, a question she needed to answer quickly. \n\n  “Gotta get to a phone, call for help, that’s it,” she said in a hushed tone, more to comfort herself than anything else.  The closest one she could think of was back at her apartment, and as she cautiously neared the other end of the narrow, trash filled alley Nina prayed that she would find her girlfriend safe when she got there. \n\n  The otter peaked around the corner, her whiskers twitching in time with her nose as it hunted for the scent of others, but the overflowing trash barrels and dumpsters made it difficult.  With some hesitation she stepped out into the passage and started her way towards the back door of her building.  The high cement walls that surrounded her muffled the chaotic noise that came from the street, giving the dim passage way an even eerier quality.\n\n  When that familiar rusty metal door finally came into view Nina breathed a sigh of relief.  She picked up her pace, eager to get inside.  Something had been stocking her though, and once the dull slap of paws against the ground began echoing off the walls it unleashed a snarl that made Nina’s blood run cold.\n\nNina spun around, a startled gasp leaving her lips.  Someone crouched on all fours in the alley way behind her, blocking the way she had just come.  A bear, his tall, broad body taking up most of the available space, and what was left of the blue button up shirt and tan pants he wore were shredded and torn away.  With red, feverish eyes he watched the terrified otter and licked away the frothy white foam that dripped from his jowls.\n\n  “H – hello?  Sir, are you – ok,” she asked in a trembling voice, slowly backing away.  “Do you need help?”\n\n  The only response he gave was to rise to his foot paws and beat his chest with a deafening roar, revealing the massive rock hard dick that jutted from his tattered pants like a pole.  It was far larger than anything Nina had thought possible, almost as big as the bear’s thick muscular legs.  Its vein covered length twitched and flicked with muscular spasms that sent droplets of milky white cum flying in every direction before he dropped back onto all fours and charged, forcing his massive member to drag behind him like a tree trunk.\n\n   Pure instinct took over, and Nina suddenly found herself rushing for the rust coated door that lead to the lobby of her apartment building, the pounding thuds of the bear’s paws growing louder and louder behind her.  She gripped the door handle and pressed down, but was shocked to find it locked.  Her fists banged into the door, sending flakes of orange showering to the ground.  “Help, someone please!  Open the fucking doooooor!”\n\n  The bear was almost upon her, his weight shaking the ground beneath her paws.  “Who is it,” shouted a voice from the other side of the door.\n\nThe bear’s rapid, snarling breaths were growing louder and louder, her keen ears judging the distance left between them.  Turning her head Nina saw his powerful arm swinging for her, each finger sporting a razor sharp claw, and ducked just in time.  “It’s Nina, ITS NINA OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR,” she shrieked as the thickly muscled arm swept over her head.  She could feel the wind whip through her clothing and fur as he passed, the bears momentum so great he couldn’t stop in front of her, instead skidding past and into a dumpster.  The door clicked open behind Nina as the powerful predator scrambled back to his paws, a black furred paw pulling her inside, the door slamming shut just seconds before Nina’s attacker hit it with his full weight.  The otter found herself engulfed in a pair of strong yet flabby arms while her body shivered uncontrollably. \n\n  “Oh Nina, it’s you, it’s really you!  I saw your bus crash, I thought you were – oh thank the gods you’re not dead!”\n\n  Nina looked around her, still dazed from the terrifying ordeal she had just endured.  The front door to the apartment building’s lobby had been barricaded with tables, chairs, even a chrome trash bin that teetered at its peak.  In front of this jumbled mass stood her upstairs neighbors, a tall muscular horse and the short, grumpy sheep who lived on the top floor.  They both held improvised weapons in their hands, and eyed Nina suspiciously.\n\n  “Allie, get away from her,” the sheep shouted angrily, swinging a thick wooden table leg above her head.  “We don’t know if she’s been infected or not.”\n\n  “Yeah, Becky’s right,” nodded the horse.  “She could turn on us any minute now.”\n\n  Allie pushed the shivering, traumatized otter behind her and snarled at the two threatening women.  “Hey, back the fuck off!  If she was infected we would have known it by now, you’ve seen how quickly they start changing.”\n\n  Becky looked at the horse beside her, both of them seemed unsure of what Allie would do if provoked.  “Well, I guess you have a point there, but we’re gonna keep an eye on you, right Ann?  The horse nodded with a grunt, trying to keep up her tough appearance. \n\n  Nina peaked out from behind her girlfriends back looking confused.  “Bitten, infected?  What the hell are you talking about, no one bit me, though that crazy bear sure tried.”\n\nAnn pointed her baseball bat towards Nina and Allie’s apartment.  “Go see for yourself, its al over the news now.”\n\n  Nina walked to the open front door of her apartment, sensitive ears picking up the voice of a frazzled news reporter.  “Again if you’re just tuning in we have lost all contact with the metropolitan police force at this time.  What was first reported to be a riot in progress has now been confirmed as some kind of infectious outbreak.”  The fox announcer’s tired, uncertain face stared back at her from the holo screen in their living room, his tie loosened, head fur in desperate need of a comb.  “The National Guard are currently quarantining the city and have ordered all residents to shelter in place until further notice.  I repeat, all residents should remain in their homes until further notice.”\n\n  Nina stared at the flickering three dimensional image with uncomprehending eyes.  “An infection, quarantine?  Nothing can spread that quickly ------.”  Her voice trailed off into a strangled gasp once her attention turned to the small, metal barred living room window.  There was no denying the horrific reality she gazed upon. \n\n  A small bakery across the street was now a flaming ruin from which the mangled rear end of number thirty four protruded.  The street had become a junkyard of mangled wreckage, layers of destruction that smoldered in places and filled the air with a toxic haze that draped itself over everything and dulled the sun’s rays.  Shreds of clothing, pools of blood and discarded belongings littered almost every surface, but not a single animal was in sight.  Where had everyone gone?\n\n   Something floated out of the smoky haze above the wreckage, a shiny metal sphere covered in camera lenses.  It scanned the street, looking for any signs of life.  “This is the Emergency Broadcast system.  Please remain indoors and await further updates.  This is the Emergency Broadcast System.”\n\nAllie walked up to Nina and rested her large hand on the smaller otter’s shoulder.  “Stupid emergency droids, a lot of good they did.  By the time those things showed up there wasn’t anyone left to warn.”\n\n  The hovering EBS droid suddenly stopped, swiveling to face back the way it had come.  “Attention citizen, you are in danger.  Please seek shelter immediately.”\n\n  Something was out there, darting between abandoned cars that had escaped the bus’s wrath.  Allie and Nina peered out of the tiny window, trying to get a better look at the approaching figure.  “Shit, someone’s still out there!”\n\n  Becky and Ann rushed into the living room and peaked over their shoulders.  “What, that’s impossible,” muttered Ann.  “Shhh, not so loud,” whispered Becky.  “Those things might hear you.”\n\n  All four of them scanned the street, searching for another glimpse of this mysterious, smoke shrouded figure.  “There, behind that mailbox,” whispered Allie, pointing to the blue metal box across the street from them.  A grey furred head peered out from behind it, scanning the deserted street.  “It’s Pam,” Nina cried out.  She’s ok!”\n\n  Pam stepped out from her hiding spot and rushed across the street, her body illuminated by the still burning bakery, and up to the front door of Nina’s building.  “Nina, Allie!  Let me in, please let me in,” she cried, her fists pounding on the door.  The squirrels dress was stained with dirt and blood, the skirt torn in several places.  The droid followed her, continuing to blast its automated message.  “Attention citizen, you are in danger.”\n\n  Nina pushed her way past the three women and out into the hallway.  Her hands gripped a chair near the top of the barricaded door and flung it off, followed by the chrome trash bin.  Becky rushed out into the lobby, her hooves clacking on the marble floor, and pulled the otter away from the pile of furniture.  “What the hell do you think you’re doing, you’ll let them all in!”\n\n  “Let me go!  She needs help, I can’t leave her again, I can’t!”\n\n“You help her and we’re all dead, you hear me,” shouted the horse, pushing Nina away from the barricade and onto her ass.  “Those things are stalking her, just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they aren’t there, and I’m not gonna end up like ------.”\n\n  Becky never got a chance to finish that sentence, Allie’s fist made sure of that.  It connected with the horses jaw with a heavy crack, knocking the much larger animal to the ground.  The badger stood over her, massaging her sore hand, eyes narrowed, teeth bared.  “Next time you lay a finger on my Nina I’ll put you in the hospital, understood?”\n\n  Becky just stared at the badger in shock, blood trickling from her busted lip.  “Good, now come on babe,” she said, helping Nina to her paws.  “Let’s get this door open.”  Together they frantically dismantled the tangled mass of furniture, but time wasn’t on their side.  “Hold on Pam, we’re coming!  We need to clear the door!”\n\n  “Hurry, I can hear them coming,” came the muffled reply from the other side.  The drone was drawing the infected towards her, a dinner bell that was whipping them into a frenzy.\n\n  Ann stormed past Becky as she got to her hooves, her face flushed with anger.  “That bitch is leading them right to us, your both nuts!  Come on Becky, let’s head to the cellar.  If they want to kill themselves that’s fine, but I’ll be damned if they take me with them.”\n\n   Nina and Allie didn’t bother saying anything, too caught up in the task at hand.  There was still so much piled in front of the door, they found themselves wasting time trying to untangle the chairs and tables, and the bigger pieces like dressers and desks required both of their strength to move.  Outside they could hear the rising shrieks and cackles, so many voices raised in an insane chorus of noise. \n\n  Pam’s voice was nothing but a whimper now, a pathetic squeak.  She turned from the door to great the oncoming hoard that rushed up to great her, resigned to her fate.  “Aaaaahhhhhhhh get off of me, no NOOOOOOO!”\n\n  That was it, they had failed.  Nina collapsed into tears, beating her fists against the mostly free door.  They could hear the squirrel being dragged away, out into the street.  Allie gritted her teeth and turned away from the door.  Their neighbors had left them, retreated to the musty dust covered bowls of the apartment building.  If they had stayed, if they had helped, maybe Pam would be safe with them now.  Cowards.  The badger hoped they rotted down there.\n\n  Nina had grown quiet, exhaustion was beginning to claim the otter, and only the occasional whimper left her lips now.  Allie scooped the otter up into flabby yet powerful arms and hugged her close, feeling the silent, shivering sobs that wracked the poor creature’s body.  Allie didn’t know how to comfort her, the badger’s mind lacked the words.  “Come on, you need to lie down,” she said forlornly, stepping back into their apartment.  She kicked her VR headset off of the couch with a claw tipped foot paw and gently laid Nina out on the cushioned surface.  The otter curled into a ball, tucking her tail in between her legs, and cried into the armrest.  Allie draped her in an old blanket and stood there for a few minutes feeling lost, powerless to comfort her grieving love.\n\n  The noise outside was deafening, and eventually Allie found herself drawn to the living room window.  She knew what she would find, the badger had seen it all before when the bus had plowed down their street and into the bakery, unleashing those things on the panicked crowd.\n\n   She didn’t even try to count how many there were, canines, bovines, felines, every type of animal you could think of cavorted in the street.  Their muscles stood out like tree routes, eyes blood red, mouths dripping white foam.  The males all sported engorged, rock hard members that leaked a constant stream of milky ooze.  As they hopped from car to car on all fours or skittered among the wreckage they left trails of slime in their wake, but the females had experienced even greater changes.  Their breasts had torn free of cloth prisons, inflated to cartoonish proportions.  Milk dribbled from thick, fattened teats onto the rounded, protruding shelves of their upper bellies.  Some only sported small orbs that could be mistaken for a normal pregnancy, but others dragged medicine ball sized masses of taxed flesh along the ground, their faces twisted into an almost constant state of bliss.  They shuffled from male to male, presenting their dripping wet nether lips, raising their asses and tails high into the air.  They had no shortage of tackers, many of the males even fought each other for the right to go first, slashing, clawing and tackling each other, sending foam, seed, blood and fur flying in every direction, but it was the center of this crazed orgy that drew Nina’s attention. \n\n  A crowd of wild, feverish males surrounded Pam, ripping her clothes away with their claws while the grey squirrel squirmed atop the massive rod that impaled her.  It was a goat who had won the right to fill her first, and he bore the wounds to prove it.  One of his eyes was swollen shut, his chest and legs dripped blood from numerous claw marks and bites, but he seemed unfazed by these injuries.  An unhinged grin was plastered on his face, and he laid upon the hood of a car like a king upon his throne.  His hands gripped Pam’s ankles tightly, pulling her farther down onto his pulsating length.  Allie could see the outline of his dick bulging through her abdomen, traveling all the way to the bottom of her firm, cantaloupe sized breasts with each thrust.  Pam’s head rolled back, her mouth spread wide in a silent scream.  Her limbs were stiff with shock, her claw tipped toes spread wide like little exclamation points.  Males leapt and cavorted around them, impatiently awaiting their turn, snarling at each other and the goat who pumped Pam up and down upon his shaft.  They didn’t have to wait long.\n\n  A deep, rumbling cry built deep within the goat’s chest, louder and louder, until it was a piercing scream of triumph.  The outline of the goat’s dick began to disappear as Pam’s once flat stomach rounded out like an inflating balloon.  Her belly fur bristled and shifted, forced to conform to the newly rounded surface, while her inner muscles involuntarily squeezed the massive meat spear, desperate for every last drop.  With each new stream of seed her belly stretched farther and farther away from her until it was a rigid oval of furred flesh that forced Pam and the dick that still speared her inflamed lips to lean forward. \n\n  The goat released her ankles and slumped back onto the hood exhausted and satisfied, allowing Pam to dangle there limply like a marionette, her belly a ripe fruit swaying before the crowd.  It sent them into an even greater frenzy, and renewed fighting broke out among the infected hoard over who would be the next to make her full term swell even riper.\n\n  A hulking alligator, his blood stained hoodie the only thing left clinging to their scaly body, freed himself from the feral hoard and leapt onto the cars roof.  While the rest fought amongst themselves he seized the opportunity and claimed his prize, ripping the limp, bloated squirrel from the goats softening shaft with a wet pop.  He lifted Pam up by her tail and eyed the dazed, twitching squirrel hungrily, his watermelon sized testicles beginning to swell with even more seed.  The gators battering ram of a dick pulsated with need, the veins that snaked across its length pumping more and more blood into the aching shaft.  With a snarl he stabbed it deep into her punished pussy, making Pam’s eyes bulge, a squeaky, lust filled cry leaving her lips.\n\n   Allie could already tell Pam was infected, the squirrel had that dreamy, almost drunken smile beginning to form on her face, and red was beginning to pool at the corners of her eyes.  The squirrel began to push back against the seven foot reptile’s thrusts, her bare foot paws pressing into his still growing ball sack, massaging and squeezing it with soft paw pads. The gator growled in pleasure, his jaws clamping around her throat as he reached his peak, teeth pressing just hard enough to hurt. \n\n  Pam sensed how close the massive reptile was and redoubled her efforts, rubbing her inner thighs along the rigid pole, it was the final push that sent him over the edge.  Clamping down even harder onto Pam’s throat the alligator let loose a pleasured growl, his teeth finally puncturing flesh, sending droplets of blood trickling onto her breasts.  It looked like a firehose had been jammed deep into her womb and turned on full blast.  The fluffy, full term ball she had sported just seconds ago rapidly expanded in every direction, the fur spreading thin, showing more of her pink, taught skin.  Pam’s cheeks puffed outwards, and she vomited all over the creaking dome, her stomach crushed by the expanding womb that took over more and more of her chest cavity. \n\n     Each powerful blast of seamen forced her skin to stretch thinner and thinner as the squirrel’s womb took up every bit of available space, but it still wasn’t enough.  The bottom of her ribcage dug painfully into the expanding sack of seamen, preventing it from moving upwards.  It gave her belly a flat shelf like top that jutted out past her slowly growing breasts, and highlighted the curved bones.  The next heavy blast of seed cracked them apart like wish bones, allowing her womb to rush up towards her muzzle.  It crushed Pam’s lungs, pushing her breasts aside and forcing milk to spray from each stiff, rubbery nipple.  The alligator was forced to lean forward by the growing weight attached to his massive rod, and soon he rested upon the ball of creaking flesh that Pam had become.  Their weight dented the cars roof inwards, the grating groan of bending metal mixing with the rubbery squeals and liquid sloshing from her tortured orb.  Pam caressed the shiny, red ball of flesh, her fingers brushing over bruised purple patches and blood red stripes of torn skin.  She reminded Allie of an overfilled exercise ball, and as the alligator panted with exhaustion, waiting for his knot to deflate, the squirrel began to giggle, her pointy front teeth chattering, tail flicking into the reptiles face. \n\n  Allie turned away from the window and walked back towards the living room couch, she had seen enough.  The badger found Nina fast asleep, her facial fur still damp with tears.  The otter shivered and flinched, her dreams filled with dark and twisted creatures.  Allie tucked the blanket more snuggly about her restless love, and left the room.  If they were going to have a chance at survival the badger knew they would need to fortify the building, and there was a lot of work ahead of her.\n \n\n   An uncomfortable quiet fell over everything as night approached.  Allie had spent all day trying to seal every window and door the best she could.  The badger had decided to raid her neighbor’s apartments, taking whatever she thought was useful.  With some nails she found in Ann’s kitchen junk drawer and most of the floorboards from Barbara’s living room the badger had boarded up the first floor’s windows.  The horse’s weight lifting bench and bar bells had been re-purposed as a barricade for the back door as well, along with some of the sheep’s furniture.  Once she had finished fortifying the building as best she could the badger turned her attention to supplies.  Every item of food in the building was rounded up and organized, every sink and tub filled in case they lost running water, and she had even put together a rather impressive set of makeshift weapons, selecting a samurai sword she had purchased last year from a shady junk store that soled hookah’s, wicker furniture and other cheesy trinkets for herself.  At the time Nina had been upset with the badger’s impulse buy, but at least now it was good for something.\n\n  The otter wasn’t awake to witness any of her girlfriend’s hard work though, exhaustion had made Nina dead to the world, and once darkness fully settled over the city Allie joined her, dropping into a plush recliner where she was soon claimed by an uneasy sleep.\n\n  Outside the fire that had engulfed the remains of the bakery across the street had finally burned out, only twinkling embers left to disturb the inky shadows.  Emergency Broadcast drones still floated by uselessly above the street, silent observers of a desolate land.  The colder temperatures that came with the setting sun pushed the smoke towards the ground where is swirled amongst the wreckage like flowing water, obscuring the pavement from view.  Most of the infected had wandered off, drawn to other victims or new mates.  Only the females who had grown far too large to move remained.  A fox rested on her side near the apartment building’s front steps, a dazed, distant look upon her face.  She stared off into space, bubbling foam escaping her open muzzle.  Her arms and legs hugged the medicine ball sized orb that erupted from what must have been a trim waste only hours ago.  Now it seemed to bubble like a coffee pot, the taught flesh constantly shifting and warping with internal movements.  Her golf ball sized belly button warped into ovals and oblongs, the ruby red crinkled budge nothing more than a ship trapped upon a storm tossed sea.\n\n  The fox was lucky, like most she had been spared the full attention of the hoard, Pam had faired far worse.  She dwarfed them all, a bizarre Lovecraftian horror.  The frame of the car that had become the squirrel’s permanent resting place touched the ground, unable to bare the weight of the thick, wide, sausage shaped abomination her womb had become.  It extended six feet from Pam’s naked, cum coated body, her legs crushed and useless beneath its mass.  The tortured, slithering tube of flesh was long enough to rest upon the hood of another car, creating a volatile bridge of sickly purple skin coated in grey fuzz.  It pushed her frail, thin torso back into the windshield, cracking the glass and crushing her spine.  The squirrel was dead, had been for hours.  Her body nothing more than an egg sac now, she had become the vessel for a new type of infection.  The virus was adapting, mutating, Pam was only the first of many. \n\n  Her head slumped against vein covered breasts that were mockeries of pregnant bellies, each nipple a thick dark golf ball that leaked a constant, pressurized spray of milk.  Her eyes were dull, pupils dilated, an unhinged smile frozen upon her face.  Each solid sack of milk bobbed atop the writhing meat tube bellow, making Pam’s head flop from side to side like a macabre puppet.  There were countless slithering coils beneath the surface, almost visible through the paper thin pelt.  They moved through the fleshy tube with enough force to rock it from side to side, a solid sway that made the deep gashes that striped her hide grow wider and darker.  The skin bulged outwards between these week points, giving her elongated belly the appearance of a freshly pealed orange resting on its side, each slice radiating from the dark blue cone of her rapidly failing navel.  Black ooze had begun to trickle from its tip, and a few spurts erupted from her tortured stretch marks, mixing with the puddles of cum and sweat that coated the pavement below.  The thrashing, writhing tendrils were too much for the trash bag thin skin, their constant movement only hastened the end of this oozing oblong egg.  What had started as a trickle quickly became a spurt, then a geyser.  The skin popping away along the seams of deep red that striped it like snapping thread.\n\n  It shuddered like a wounded animal, bowing in the middle where it hovered above the ground, and split apart, flaps of flesh whipping open like the petals of a gore filled flower, unleashing a tidal wave of dark purple, ooze covered slugs.\n\n  They slid across the ground, covering it in slick black goo, and almost immediately began to hunt, slithering off in every direction, and leaving trails of ooze in their wake.  They wouldn’t have to look far for new hosts.\n \n\n  Ann slept soundly on a makeshift bed of painter’s tarps and laundry that only dulled the cold radiating from the basement floor.  The sheep seemed untroubled by her current predicament.  Laying on her back, arms and legs stretched out comfortably, she snored away without a care in the world.  Becky watched her from across the room with a mix of envy and anger.  The horse had spent hours arguing with the stubborn, ill-tempered sheep about what to do.  Ann was confident that the National Guard would save them any day now, all they needed to do was wait.  Becky wasn’t so sure.  They had only brought a few days’ worth of food with them, and although the basement windows were far too narrow for any of the infected to squeeze through there was only one exit, back through the lobby, and if those things were able to get into the building they would be trapped.\n\n  As she sat there on the ground, her back against the washing machine, Becky realized she had made a mistake following Ann down here.  Nina and Allie were fine, the horse had heard them fortifying the building all day.  “Fuck this,” she muttered.  “I’ll go upstairs in the morning and apologize,”\n\n  She pulled the blanket that had been resting on her lap up around broad shoulders and made herself comfortable.  Her troubled thoughts couldn’t keep sleep away any longer.  Closing her heavy eyes Becky slipped away into dreams, and was soon softly snoring.\n\n  If she had been able to fight off the urge to sleep for a few minutes longer Becky probably would have heard the wet slap of slugs hitting the basement floor.  They slithered through narrow gaps in the window frame above Ann’s crudely made bed, dropping all around and even on to the sheep’s white wool coat.  They could see her heat signature from the street, and they all had one destination in mind.  They slithered under her red t-shirt, over the black bra that covered her d cup breasts, across her toned fluffy abdomen, and wriggled past the elastic band of her grey sweat pants.  The first ones to arrive at her matching black panties tried to slither through the nylon material, until a new arrival discovered the edge of this obstruction, and the moist pink petals within.\n\n  Its slick, dark purple body slipped past Ann’s pussy lips, making the sheep moan in her sleep.  It was quickly followed by another, and another.  Their fat long bodies began forcing themselves into her two at a time, then three at a time.  Her panties bulged like an overloaded diaper, and the constant stimulation made Ann grip the tarps beneath her, her legs spreading, knees bending, hooves clenching with orgasmic bliss.  She never felt the infection spreading through her, never awoke to see her t shirt begin to writhe and bubble outwards.  Her mind slipped away peacefully, sank into the feverish ecstasy of the virus.  When the sheep opened her red dilated eyes there was no longer any Ann. \n \n\nBecky snorted awake, something wet was moving between her legs.  The horse shivered, her hands rushing to check her shorts, but her lower arms hit something rounded and solid below her firm double D’s.  She looked down, her sleep crusted eyes falling upon a strange round shape that filled her lap and tented the blanket that covered her muscular body.\n\n  “What the hell -------- Ann, were you fucking with me in my sleep?  I am so not in the mood for this practical joker shit,” she said angrily, ripping the blanket off of her body, but what lay beneath it was no prank.  The firm, slowly swelling orb of brown fur that stretched the fabric of her tank top to its limits was real, and it moved with a bubbling intensity. \n\n  She screamed, tried to scramble away from the onrushing stream.  Her foot paws kicked and stomped the squishy invaders, scattering them across the cold cement floor, but it was no use.  The infection was already spreading.  Her mind was growing numb, coherent thoughts were leaving, fragmenting.  Her limbs grew heavy, unresponsive, their muscles began to spasm. \n\n“Heheheheheeeeee bigggy big grow!”\n\n  Becky looked up, her eyes locking on to the red eyed sheep who slowly emerged from the dark.  She cackled, her face warped by a painfully wide grin, foam trickling through her clenched teeth.  Her hands slapped at the curved sides of the quad sized, raspberry shaped mass that forced her to lean forward.  It thudded into her knees and swayed like a metronome with every shuffling step.  The girthy sausage sized slugs covered her body, all headed towards her bare crotch, panties and pants long since discarded.  If Becky could see past the writhing bump covered girth she would have seen the sheep’s pussy spread painfully wide by dozens of them, their tails flapping against her ass and thighs as they slid farther into her depths.\n\n  Ann wobbled to an unsteady stop before the confused and terrified horse and wrapped her hands around as much of the bulging mass as she could, her hands no longer able to touch the bare pink thumb that erupted from its peak.  Her palms pressed into the damp, feverishly warm skin, barely denting the surface, and with a breathless giggling grunt she bent backwards, every muscle in her fluff coated arms straining to lift the still inflating blob upwards until she was fully upright.  All Becky could see was the red lightning bolts that cascaded out of her puffy cloud white wool coat, splitting the coarse hair like rapidly widening fault lines.  It was the last thing Becky saw with her darkening red eyes before the virus fully took hold.  It raced at her face, propelled by gravity, and smashed into her with all its weight.  She could barely breathe, her head turned sideways into the washing machines chromed surface.  She could hear the muffled cackling above her, felt the swarm beneath the creaking layer of flesh thud against her face relentlessly, and began to giggle. \n \n\nThe basement door crashed open, swinging back to crash into the wall where the doorknob embedded itself into the sheetrock.  Nina shot up, releasing a startled squeak, head turning frantically for the source of the disturbance that rocketed her awake.  Across from her Allie jumped out of the recliner, her cheaply made samurai sword clenched tightly in her right hand.  She rushed to their front door, which had been reinforced with wooden boards hammered into the frame, and peaked through the peep hole while Nina looked on nervously.  “Oh no,” she whimpered.  “Please tell me they didn’t break in!”\n\n  Allie shushed the otter, her eye never leaving the tiny hole.  Everything had gone quiet again, and the badger was listening so hard that her ears were ringing.  She could see the front door was still barricaded, and at first the hallway seemed deserted.  She wasn’t prepared for the veiny, blood red eye that suddenly stared back at her.  “Peekieboo! Heheheheheheeeeee!”\n\n  “Shit,” Allie cried out, stumbling back from the door, her sword dropping to the floor.  Nina jumped to her paws and screamed, panic taking over.  “They did, they broke in!” \n\n  “N – no, it’s Becky,” the badger replied, her heart pounding.  “I heard her voice.”\n\n  Something smashed into the apartment door with enough force to knock picture frames from the wall, snapping Allie from her momentary paralysis.  The wooden boards splintered, the flimsy door cracked with each powerful blow.  Allie rushed for her discarded sword and retrieved it from the floor.  Nina watched the badger grip it in both paws and raise it above her head, turning sideways and spreading her legs like she was about to strike a baseball.  “Becky?  What – what does she want?”\n\n  Nina didn’t answer her, she growled at the door and prepared for a fight as the repurposed floor boards began to snap away from the doorframe. \n\n  “Lock yourself in the bedroom Nina,” she said as calmly as she could.  “And no matter what you hear, don’t open the door.”\n\n“What,” the otter cried out, her ears flicking up, tail stiff with stubborn indignation.  “Im not just going to leave you al ---.”\n\n  Allie tore her eyes off of the splintering door and shouted angrily at Nina.  “I said GO, NOW!”\n\n  She charged at the otter as the door finally gave way, pushing her into the bedroom, the door slamming shut behind the stunned water weasel.\n\n   “Lock it Nina, please,” shouted Allie, her voice trembling, tears beginning to dampen her fur.  She could hear something slowly approaching, thick heavy clops that filled her with dread.  “I love you, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me Nina, and – and I’m sorry I took you for granted.  Goodbye.”\n\n  Allie spun to face her enemy, sword ready to strike, and waited for the right moment.  She could hear Nina pounding on the door, screaming at her to not leave her, but Allie knew if she didn’t try to fight back then they were both doomed.\n\n  Becky stumbled towards Allie like a zombie, back bent, arms outstretched, all of this to counterbalance the smooth oval egg that jutted feet from her body, the horse’s stubborn abs refusing to give in to gravities demands.  It was a rock hard battering ram of mottled mauve, bruised and bleeding around the herniated lump of a navel that marred its otherwise smooth surface.  Faint blue veins slithered across the shiny fuzz covered expanse, narrow streams that struggled to supply her vast globe. \n\n  She laughed madly, a feverish giggling cackle that was muffled by the thick white foam filling her mouth.  Allie’s stubby tail flicked nervously, her body tense, ready for action.  She had to wait, had to let the lumbering horse get close.  She only had one chance.\n\n“Heheeeeeee groooowy grow tiiimmme,” the horse shouted ecstatically, her unblinking red eyes locked onto the badger. With every clumsy step her knee would strike the five foot swell and anger its slimy inhabitants.  The skin would ripple slightly like a pebble thrown into a pond, the flesh so taught their agitated slithering could barely dent the surface.  Becky watched it bob and slosh closer and closer, the horses grinning face disappearing from view, dwarfed by the shiny orb.  Her hands swiped at the badger, the horse’s belly propelling her forward, but Allie was much more nimble than the engorged horse.  The green haired badger dodged to her right and rushed past Becky, the horse unable to turn in time.  She shrieked angrily, unable to stop herself, and smashed her oval girth into the bedroom door. Her arms flailed, unable to reach the wall, and the horse could only rock from side to side as she fought to regain her balance.  Allie kicked out her leg and brought her foot paw crashing down onto the back of Becky’s knee.  The horse collapsed, crashing onto her back with a gurgling gasp as the whole weight of that turgid girth came to rest atop her, knocking the air from her compressed lungs.  She flailed about uselessly, a turtle trapped on its back.  “Noooooo not fair,” she whined.  “You need grow groooooow!”\n\n  Allie backed away from the immobilized horse, towards the apartment door, her sword at the ready.  Her mouth was dry, her heart pounding.  She watched the horses bare legs spread wide, revealing the stretched out tunnel her vagina had become.  It bulged and warped, spitting out a tangled mass of deep purple slugs that made Allie sick to her stomach.  “What the fuck, what the fuck,” she said with shivering lips.  The badger didn’t know what to do, things were getting out of hand.  Where was Ann, what had gotten to them down there, why was Becky full of those disgusting bugs?  She backed into something hard, its surface covered in bulging bumps, and froze with a gasp of surprise.  “Heheheeeeee growwww time,” giggled the familiar voice. \n\n  Allie tried to turn, but a white fluff covered hand gripped her wrist with unnatural strength, squeezing it until the badger’s eyes filled with painful tears and she was forced to drop the sword.  With her free hand Becky punched blindly at the sheep behind her, her blows connecting with the Ann’s face again and again until her grip loosened on the badger’s wrist. \n\n  She rushed across the room, gripped a wooden chair, brandishing it at the massive sheep that struggled to claw her way through the door.  Ann was a misshapen orb, her belly resting heavily on the ground, a warped mass of basketball sized bulges that shifted, rose and fell across the angry red surface.  A thick unending swarm of slugs crawled their way out from under her purple streaked, vein covered mass.  A carpet of slime that slithered towards the badger.  Allie screamed, swinging the chair at the fat purple waves that wriggled at her paws.  The chairs legs sent them flying into the walls, on to furniture, but there were always more to replace their fallen comrades.  “Get offa me!  Get the fuck off,” she screeched, her paws stomping into their rubbery bodies as dozens more began to slither up her legs.  Allie was beginning to panic, she was trapped, her only escape route blocked by the undulating bushel of grapes wedged into the doorway.  It seemed like Allie only had one option left, to shove the engorged sheep out of the way.  With her mind made up the badger charged Ann, her wooden chair raised like a medieval jouster’s pole.  “Get out of my apartment you BITCH,” she bellowed, smashing the chair into the top of the flesh coated hive of slugs.  The legs pressed into the sheep’s paper thin pelt, releasing a liquid squeal from deep within its core, but it refused to move.  Instead the jagged ruby wounds that radiated from her cone shaped navel split apart, unleashing a pressurized spray of black ooze that coated Allie and the ticking time bomb of a sheep.  Allie stumbled back in horror, frantically wiping the black goo from her face.  Ann’s shocked, bulging eyes stared at the badger, her lower lip trembling as if she was on the verge of tears.  “No ----- feel good,” she moaned, black fluid beginning to mix with the foam dripping from her muzzle.\n\n  There was a loud creak, and Ann detonated like a water balloon, unleashing a tsunami of slugs and goo that crashed into the walls, swept up furniture in its wake, and buried the badger completely in her wriggling doom.\n \n\n  Nina watched the black liquid rush under the bedroom door from her curled up spot near the bed’s head board.  She cried, her heart aching.  It was all over, Allie was gone, Pam was gone, everything and everyone she had ever known or loved had been taken from her in just one day.  She felt so hopeless and alone.  The apartment had grown quiet again, only the otter’s anguished wails punctured the stillness of the night.\n\n  When her door know began to rattle the otter didn’t bother locking it, she hadn’t bothered when Allie had shoved her into the room to begin with.  The otter didn’t care anymore.  Let them come, they could have her.\n\n  The door clicked open, and Nina watched it swing back to reveal the slime coated body of her one true love.  Allie smiled at Nina, her red eyes twinkling merrily, and cradled the quad sized ball that undulated in her paws like snakes in a bag.  “Heheheee, growy grow tiiiimmme,” she crowed happily, waddling towards the bed, and in that moment Nina came to a realization.  She wasn’t alone, not as long as she still had Allie.  Even if they both lost themselves to the virus they would still be together.  The otter wiped away the tears that streamed from her bloodshot eyes, stood up from the bed and reached out for Allie, embracing the giggling, fecund badger in her arms as the thick purple slugs began to swarm the otter’s legs.  “I love you Allie, I love you so much.”",

The otter still felt so tired, like she hadn&rsquo;t slept at all.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; She pulled the sheets off of her head and looked at the floating neon green numbers that hovered above her bedside table.&nbsp; Six fifty nine, one minute before the ear splitting electric beep of her alarm would begin.&nbsp; She tapped the glass top of the small table, a soft chime ringing out to let her know the alarm had been re-set.&nbsp; There was no use waiting for it to go off, she was already up.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; With a groan the otter sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes, swinging her toned, thickly furred legs to dangle over the floor.&nbsp; Rays of light invaded her dark bedroom through gaps in the curtained window, their beams falling upon the empty spot where her girlfriend should be.&nbsp; It didn&rsquo;t look like she had ever bothered going to bed last night.&nbsp; The otter ran her webbed fingers through buzz cut head fur and groaned, rising to her bare foot paws.&nbsp; She headed for the bathroom, her thick rudder like tail dragging across the wooden floor behind her.&nbsp; Ever since the pudgy badger had gotten herself fired from her burger flipping job at McDougal&rsquo;s the only thing Allie had done was sit on the living room couch with a VR headset on her head.&nbsp; With only Nina&rsquo;s paycheck to sustain them both the bills had begun to pile up, and the otter was becoming increasingly frustrated and burnt out.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina shuffled groggily into the small bathroom and leaned against the counter, her head hovering just above the sink.&nbsp; She cupped her hands beneath the faucet, letting the cool, clear water pool there before splashing it into her face.&nbsp; &ldquo;Ugh wake up girl, get it together,&rdquo; she groaned, rising from the sink to arch her back.&nbsp; Water dripped down onto her white top, forcing the heavy fabric to press flat against perky, gum drop breasts like a second skin.&nbsp; Her nipples grew stiff from the cool water, easily visible through the now translucent top.&nbsp; Nina stood there for a moment with her arms raised high, twisting her waist and wriggling her paws, letting the stiff muscles snap and pop before allowing them to fall to her sides like limp noodles.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; You always have some damn excuse to sit on your ass with your face buried in that headset while I bust my ass to pay the bills, and I&rsquo;m fucking fed up!&nbsp; So get your ass out there today and fill out some applications or find another girlfriend to mooch off of!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina stormed off towards the front door, tail thumping away behind her like a hammer, and grabbed her back pack.<br /><br />&ldquo;Aww, come on!&nbsp; Don&rsquo;t be like that,&rdquo; the badger whined, rising to her paws with a grunt of effort.&nbsp; &ldquo;Did I do the right thing, did I overreact?&nbsp; Is it really all over,&rdquo; she wondered.<br /><br />&nbsp; Deep down the otter hopped that this would shake Allie out of this lazy funk she had fallen into, but the uncertainty was eating away at her.<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina took a deep breath, filling her lungs with crisp morning air, and did her best to calm the rapid beating of her heart.&nbsp; She hated confrontations, they always left her feeling tense and anxious, but what else could she have done?<br /><br />&nbsp; It took Nina a minute to get herself back together, but when she did the slick furred otter realized that there was something unusual happening in front of her red brick apartment building.<br /><br />&nbsp; The normally quiet city street had become a parking lot.&nbsp; Cars idled in uneven rows that extended as far as the eye could see in either direction.&nbsp; Many of their occupants sat or leaned against their vehicles, while others gathered in small groups to talk.&nbsp; Occasionally a desperate motorist somewhere in the pack would honk their horn in impotent rage, but it didn&rsquo;t do them any good.<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina started walking towards the bus stop at the end of her street, but she was beginning to think it wasn&rsquo;t worth it, no bus could make it through this mess.&nbsp; Up ahead of her she could see a few animal&rsquo;s crowded around the open passenger car door of an old blue Bentford Roadmaster coupe.&nbsp; They listened intently to the car&rsquo;s radio, their faces full of concern.&nbsp; One of them in particular, a rather attractive grey squirrel with bobcut hair, looked away from the middle aged hamster she had been talking with, her face breaking into a pleasant smile.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Hey Nina,&rdquo; she called out, waving one slender arm above her head.&nbsp; &ldquo; Is this crazy or what?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Hey, what&rsquo;s going on Pam?&nbsp;&nbsp; Was there an accident,&rdquo; asked Nina as the squirrel gave her a friendly hug which the otter halfheartedly embraced.&nbsp; The soft red fabric of the squirrels dress, the smell of lavender perfume and the comfort of her soft furred arms made Nina feel better.&nbsp; Pam was a good friend, and on a day like this she was glad to run into her.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Nah, it&rsquo;s some crazy riot.&nbsp; Cops have the whole east end blocked off.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;What, really?&nbsp; What are they rioting over?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Nobody knows,&rdquo; said Pam with a shrug.&nbsp; &ldquo; But it seems pretty serious, the radio just said their calling in the National Guard.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Shit, how am I gonna get to the hospital,&rdquo; groaned Nina.&nbsp; They&rsquo;re gonna need everyone they can get.&rdquo;<br /><br />The squirrel fished her phone from the tasteful red Purrada purse hanging from her shoulder and tapped the screen with padded fingertips, frustration beginning to creep into her pretty face.&nbsp; &ldquo;Well id tell you to call and let them know you&rsquo;ll be late, but there&rsquo;s no cell service,&rdquo; she grumbled, holding the thin metal framed glass screen to the otter&rsquo;s face.&nbsp; &ldquo;See, no bars.&nbsp; Been like that for about an hour now.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina shook her head and looked up to the sky.&nbsp; &ldquo;Fuuuuccck,&rdquo; she moaned, stress beginning to rise within her once again. &nbsp; She watched drivers dart past them in antigravity powered luxury far above, their shadows flickering over them constantly like shooting stars. &nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Ya know, its days like this that make me wish I owned a hover car.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Pam let loose a snort of laughter, slapping her friend on the shoulder.&nbsp; &ldquo;Ha!&nbsp; You and me both sister, this hunk of junk just isn&rsquo;t worth keeping on the road anymore,&rdquo; she said, nodding towards her beat up Bentford.&nbsp; &ldquo;I heard they&rsquo;re gonna stop making replacement parts for them soon too.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That obsolete rust bucket is still better than nothing.&nbsp; If i have to ride the bus for much longer I&rsquo;m gonna -------.&rdquo;<br /><br />Nina stopped talking, something wasn&rsquo;t right.&nbsp; Far off down the street the sound of metal crunching against metal, the squeal of tires against pavement and the terrified screams of hundreds erupted from the crowd.&nbsp; Both women turned their heads in the direction of this commotion and froze with shock.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; A bus was barreling down the street, plowing through the sea of vehicles that filled the two lane blacktop, sending them toppling into each other like children&rsquo;s toys.&nbsp; Nina recognized the massive yellow and white striped juggernaut that hurtled towards them, it was the 34 to Brentmore, the one she took to work every day.&nbsp; As it barreled closer Nina gripped her friend by the paw and pulled her towards an ally.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Come on, run!&nbsp; We can&rsquo;t stay here,&rdquo; she cried, yanking the squirrel&rsquo;s arm.&nbsp; A panicked crowd engulfed them, flooding the sidewalk.&nbsp; They were desperate to escape, knocking each other to the ground, climbing over each other, their eyes wide with panic.&nbsp; Nina pushed her way through them, getting knocked around by countless shoulders and elbows.&nbsp; She could feel Pam&rsquo;s hand slipping from her own, tried to grip it tighter.&nbsp; The squirrel struggled behind her, but the terrified mob was too much, and in the blink of an eye Nina felt her slip free.&nbsp; When she turned around from the safety of the alleyway Pam was nowhere in sight.&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Help, stop, Nina!&nbsp; Nina heeelllp!&rdquo;&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Farther down the street a grey furred paw reached up from the frantic mob, waving franticly for a brief moment, and just with that glimpse Nina knew who it belonged to.&nbsp; The otter watched helplessly as the massive metal machine barreled past her, its windows covered with blood.&nbsp; The passengers seemed to be ripping each other apart, a blur of fur, jaws and claws that flashed past in a shower of sparks and metal.&nbsp; Pam&rsquo;s Roadmaster crashed onto its side and slid across the sidewalk like a blue bullet.&nbsp; The otter shrieked, stumbled backwards onto the muddy ground and shivered with terror as the mass of metal rushed towards her face.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh fuck, oh God&rsquo;s, oh &ndash; oh fuck,&rdquo; she panted, heart threatening to pound through her ribcage. It crashed into the ally&rsquo;s entrance, bending the vehicles frame and cutting Nina off from the rest of the crowd.&nbsp; Thick smoke began to curl from the mangled hood, and somewhere down the street a deafening explosion rang out, filling the sky overhead with fire and shards of shrapnel.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Beyond the smoking wreckage Nina could hear a crescendo of shouting, terrified screams and something else.&nbsp; It was faint at first, drowned out by the louder cacophony, but it was growing closer with every passing second.&nbsp; Sometimes it sounded like chattering, at other times it was an unhinged cackle, but mostly it was snarling, guttural noise.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina stood up as quietly as she could and backed her way down the alley, terrified of what might hear her, of whatever was making those primordial cries.&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Pam!&nbsp; Oh no,no,nooo!&nbsp; Ok, ok just breathe Nina,&rdquo; she panted under her breath.&nbsp; &ldquo; What do you need to do now?&rdquo;&nbsp; The words vibrated out of her trembling lips, a question she needed to answer quickly.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Gotta get to a phone, call for help, that&rsquo;s it,&rdquo; she said in a hushed tone, more to comfort herself than anything else.&nbsp; The closest one she could think of was back at her apartment, and as she cautiously neared the other end of the narrow, trash filled alley Nina prayed that she would find her girlfriend safe when she got there.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; The otter peaked around the corner, her whiskers twitching in time with her nose as it hunted for the scent of others, but the overflowing trash barrels and dumpsters made it difficult.&nbsp; With some hesitation she stepped out into the passage and started her way towards the back door of her building.&nbsp; The high cement walls that surrounded her muffled the chaotic noise that came from the street, giving the dim passage way an even eerier quality.<br /><br />&nbsp; When that familiar rusty metal door finally came into view Nina breathed a sigh of relief.&nbsp; She picked up her pace, eager to get inside.&nbsp; Something had been stocking her though, and once the dull slap of paws against the ground began echoing off the walls it unleashed a snarl that made Nina&rsquo;s blood run cold.<br /><br />Nina spun around, a startled gasp leaving her lips.&nbsp; Someone crouched on all fours in the alley way behind her, blocking the way she had just come.&nbsp; A bear, his tall, broad body taking up most of the available space, and what was left of the blue button up shirt and tan pants he wore were shredded and torn away.&nbsp; With red, feverish eyes he watched the terrified otter and licked away the frothy white foam that dripped from his jowls.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;H &ndash; hello?&nbsp; Sir, are you &ndash; ok,&rdquo; she asked in a trembling voice, slowly backing away.&nbsp; &ldquo;Do you need help?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The only response he gave was to rise to his foot paws and beat his chest with a deafening roar, revealing the massive rock hard dick that jutted from his tattered pants like a pole.&nbsp; It was far larger than anything Nina had thought possible, almost as big as the bear&rsquo;s thick muscular legs.&nbsp; Its vein covered length twitched and flicked with muscular spasms that sent droplets of milky white cum flying in every direction before he dropped back onto all fours and charged, forcing his massive member to drag behind him like a tree trunk.<br /><br />&nbsp; &nbsp;Pure instinct took over, and Nina suddenly found herself rushing for the rust coated door that lead to the lobby of her apartment building, the pounding thuds of the bear&rsquo;s paws growing louder and louder behind her.&nbsp; She gripped the door handle and pressed down, but was shocked to find it locked.&nbsp; Her fists banged into the door, sending flakes of orange showering to the ground.&nbsp; &ldquo;Help, someone please!&nbsp; Open the fucking doooooor!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The bear was almost upon her, his weight shaking the ground beneath her paws.&nbsp; &ldquo;Who is it,&rdquo; shouted a voice from the other side of the door.<br /><br />The bear&rsquo;s rapid, snarling breaths were growing louder and louder, her keen ears judging the distance left between them.&nbsp; Turning her head Nina saw his powerful arm swinging for her, each finger sporting a razor sharp claw, and ducked just in time.&nbsp; &ldquo; It&rsquo;s Nina, ITS NINA OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR,&rdquo; she shrieked as the thickly muscled arm swept over her head.&nbsp; She could feel the wind whip through her clothing and fur as he passed, the bears momentum so great he couldn&rsquo;t stop in front of her, instead skidding past and into a dumpster.&nbsp; The door clicked open behind Nina as the powerful predator scrambled back to his paws, a black furred paw pulling her inside, the door slamming shut just seconds before Nina&rsquo;s attacker hit it with his full weight.&nbsp; The otter found herself engulfed in a pair of strong yet flabby arms while her body shivered uncontrollably.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh Nina, it&rsquo;s you, it&rsquo;s really you!&nbsp; I saw your bus crash, I thought you were &ndash; oh thank the gods you&rsquo;re not dead!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina looked around her, still dazed from the terrifying ordeal she had just endured.&nbsp; The front door to the apartment building&rsquo;s lobby had been barricaded with tables, chairs, even a chrome trash bin that teetered at its peak.&nbsp; In front of this jumbled mass stood her upstairs neighbors, a tall muscular horse and the short, grumpy sheep who lived on the top floor.&nbsp; They both held improvised weapons in their hands, and eyed Nina suspiciously.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Allie, get away from her,&rdquo; the sheep shouted angrily, swinging a thick wooden table leg above her head.&nbsp; &ldquo; We don&rsquo;t know if she&rsquo;s been infected or not.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Yeah, Becky&rsquo;s right,&rdquo; nodded the horse.&nbsp; &ldquo; She could turn on us any minute now.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Allie pushed the shivering, traumatized otter behind her and snarled at the two threatening women.&nbsp; &ldquo;Hey, back the fuck off!&nbsp; If she was infected we would have known it by now, you&rsquo;ve seen how quickly they start changing.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Becky looked at the horse beside her, both of them seemed unsure of what Allie would do if provoked.&nbsp; &ldquo;Well, I guess you have a point there, but we&rsquo;re gonna keep an eye on you, right Ann?&nbsp; The horse nodded with a grunt, trying to keep up her tough appearance.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina peaked out from behind her girlfriends back looking confused.&nbsp; &ldquo;Bitten, infected?&nbsp; What the hell are you talking about, no one bit me, though that crazy bear sure tried.&rdquo;<br /><br />Ann pointed her baseball bat towards Nina and Allie&rsquo;s apartment.&nbsp; &ldquo;Go see for yourself, its al over the news now.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina walked to the open front door of her apartment, sensitive ears picking up the voice of a frazzled news reporter.&nbsp; &ldquo;Again if you&rsquo;re just tuning in we have lost all contact with the metropolitan police force at this time.&nbsp; What was first reported to be a riot in progress has now been confirmed as some kind of infectious outbreak.&rdquo;&nbsp; The fox announcer&rsquo;s tired, uncertain face stared back at her from the holo screen in their living room, his tie loosened, head fur in desperate need of a comb.&nbsp; &ldquo; The National Guard are currently quarantining the city and have ordered all residents to shelter in place until further notice.&nbsp; I repeat, all residents should remain in their homes until further notice.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina stared at the flickering three dimensional image with uncomprehending eyes.&nbsp; &ldquo; An infection, quarantine?&nbsp; Nothing can spread that quickly ------.&rdquo;&nbsp; Her voice trailed off into a strangled gasp once her attention turned to the small, metal barred living room window.&nbsp; There was no denying the horrific reality she gazed upon.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; A small bakery across the street was now a flaming ruin from which the mangled rear end of number thirty four protruded.&nbsp; The street had become a junkyard of mangled wreckage, layers of destruction that smoldered in places and filled the air with a toxic haze that draped itself over everything and dulled the sun&rsquo;s rays.&nbsp; Shreds of clothing, pools of blood and discarded belongings littered almost every surface, but not a single animal was in sight.&nbsp; Where had everyone gone?<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Something floated out of the smoky haze above the wreckage, a shiny metal sphere covered in camera lenses.&nbsp; It scanned the street, looking for any signs of life.&nbsp; &ldquo; This is the Emergency Broadcast system.&nbsp; Please remain indoors and await further updates.&nbsp; This is the Emergency Broadcast System.&rdquo;<br /><br />Allie walked up to Nina and rested her large hand on the smaller otter&rsquo;s shoulder.&nbsp; &ldquo;Stupid emergency droids, a lot of good they did.&nbsp; By the time those things showed up there wasn&rsquo;t anyone left to warn.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The hovering EBS droid suddenly stopped, swiveling to face back the way it had come.&nbsp; &ldquo;Attention citizen, you are in danger.&nbsp; Please seek shelter immediately.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Something was out there, darting between abandoned cars that had escaped the bus&rsquo;s wrath.&nbsp; Allie and Nina peered out of the tiny window, trying to get a better look at the approaching figure.&nbsp; &ldquo;Shit, someone&rsquo;s still out there!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Becky and Ann rushed into the living room and peaked over their shoulders.&nbsp; &ldquo; What, that&rsquo;s impossible,&rdquo; muttered Ann.&nbsp; &ldquo;Shhh, not so loud,&rdquo; whispered Becky.&nbsp; &ldquo; Those things might hear you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; All four of them scanned the street, searching for another glimpse of this mysterious, smoke shrouded figure.&nbsp; &ldquo; There, behind that mailbox,&rdquo; whispered Allie, pointing to the blue metal box across the street from them.&nbsp; A grey furred head peered out from behind it, scanning the deserted street.&nbsp; &ldquo; It&rsquo;s Pam,&rdquo; Nina cried out.&nbsp; She&rsquo;s ok!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Pam stepped out from her hiding spot and rushed across the street, her body illuminated by the still burning bakery, and up to the front door of Nina&rsquo;s building.&nbsp; &ldquo;Nina, Allie!&nbsp; Let me in, please let me in,&rdquo; she cried, her fists pounding on the door.&nbsp; The squirrels dress was stained with dirt and blood, the skirt torn in several places.&nbsp; The droid followed her, continuing to blast its automated message.&nbsp; &ldquo;Attention citizen, you are in danger.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina pushed her way past the three women and out into the hallway.&nbsp; Her hands gripped a chair near the top of the barricaded door and flung it off, followed by the chrome trash bin.&nbsp; Becky rushed out into the lobby, her hooves clacking on the marble floor, and pulled the otter away from the pile of furniture.&nbsp; &ldquo; What the hell do you think you&rsquo;re doing, you&rsquo;ll let them all in!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Let me go!&nbsp; She needs help, I can&rsquo;t leave her again, I can&rsquo;t!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;You help her and we&rsquo;re all dead, you hear me,&rdquo; shouted the horse, pushing Nina away from the barricade and onto her ass.&nbsp; &ldquo; Those things are stalking her, just because you can&rsquo;t see them doesn&rsquo;t mean they aren&rsquo;t there, and I&rsquo;m not gonna end up like ------.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Becky never got a chance to finish that sentence, Allie&rsquo;s fist made sure of that.&nbsp; It connected with the horses jaw with a heavy crack, knocking the much larger animal to the ground.&nbsp; The badger stood over her, massaging her sore hand, eyes narrowed, teeth bared.&nbsp; &ldquo;Next time you lay a finger on my Nina I&rsquo;ll put you in the hospital, understood?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Becky just stared at the badger in shock, blood trickling from her busted lip.&nbsp; &ldquo;Good, now come on babe,&rdquo; she said, helping Nina to her paws.&nbsp; &ldquo;Let&rsquo;s get this door open.&rdquo;&nbsp; Together they frantically dismantled the tangled mass of furniture, but time wasn&rsquo;t on their side.&nbsp; &ldquo;Hold on Pam, we&rsquo;re coming!&nbsp; We need to clear the door!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Hurry, I can hear them coming,&rdquo; came the muffled reply from the other side.&nbsp; The drone was drawing the infected towards her, a dinner bell that was whipping them into a frenzy.<br /><br />&nbsp; Ann stormed past Becky as she got to her hooves, her face flushed with anger.&nbsp; &ldquo; That bitch is leading them right to us, your both nuts!&nbsp; Come on Becky, let&rsquo;s head to the cellar.&nbsp; If they want to kill themselves that&rsquo;s fine, but I&rsquo;ll be damned if they take me with them.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Nina and Allie didn&rsquo;t bother saying anything, too caught up in the task at hand.&nbsp; There was still so much piled in front of the door, they found themselves wasting time trying to untangle the chairs and tables, and the bigger pieces like dressers and desks required both of their strength to move.&nbsp; Outside they could hear the rising shrieks and cackles, so many voices raised in an insane chorus of noise.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Pam&rsquo;s voice was nothing but a whimper now, a pathetic squeak.&nbsp; She turned from the door to great the oncoming hoard that rushed up to great her, resigned to her fate.&nbsp; &ldquo;Aaaaahhhhhhhh get off of me, no NOOOOOOO!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; That was it, they had failed.&nbsp; Nina collapsed into tears, beating her fists against the mostly free door.&nbsp; They could hear the squirrel being dragged away, out into the street.&nbsp; Allie gritted her teeth and turned away from the door.&nbsp; Their neighbors had left them, retreated to the musty dust covered bowls of the apartment building.&nbsp; If they had stayed, if they had helped, maybe Pam would be safe with them now.&nbsp; Cowards.&nbsp; The badger hoped they rotted down there.<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina had grown quiet, exhaustion was beginning to claim the otter, and only the occasional whimper left her lips now.&nbsp; Allie scooped the otter up into flabby yet powerful arms and hugged her close, feeling the silent, shivering sobs that wracked the poor creature&rsquo;s body.&nbsp; Allie didn&rsquo;t know how to comfort her, the badger&rsquo;s mind lacked the words.&nbsp; &ldquo;Come on, you need to lie down,&rdquo; she said forlornly, stepping back into their apartment.&nbsp; She kicked her VR headset off of the couch with a claw tipped foot paw and gently laid Nina out on the cushioned surface.&nbsp; The otter curled into a ball, tucking her tail in between her legs, and cried into the armrest.&nbsp; Allie draped her in an old blanket and stood there for a few minutes feeling lost, powerless to comfort her grieving love.<br /><br />&nbsp; The noise outside was deafening, and eventually Allie found herself drawn to the living room window.&nbsp; She knew what she would find, the badger had seen it all before when the bus had plowed down their street and into the bakery, unleashing those things on the panicked crowd.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; She didn&rsquo;t even try to count how many there were, canines, bovines, felines, every type of animal you could think of cavorted in the street.&nbsp; Their muscles stood out like tree routes, eyes blood red, mouths dripping white foam.&nbsp; The males all sported engorged, rock hard members that leaked a constant stream of milky ooze.&nbsp; As they hopped from car to car on all fours or skittered among the wreckage they left trails of slime in their wake, but the females had experienced even greater changes.&nbsp; Their breasts had torn free of cloth prisons, inflated to cartoonish proportions.&nbsp; Milk dribbled from thick, fattened teats onto the rounded, protruding shelves of their upper bellies.&nbsp; Some only sported small orbs that could be mistaken for a normal pregnancy, but others dragged medicine ball sized masses of taxed flesh along the ground, their faces twisted into an almost constant state of bliss.&nbsp; They shuffled from male to male, presenting their dripping wet nether lips, raising their asses and tails high into the air.&nbsp; They had no shortage of tackers, many of the males even fought each other for the right to go first, slashing, clawing and tackling each other, sending foam, seed, blood and fur flying in every direction, but it was the center of this crazed orgy that drew Nina&rsquo;s attention.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; A crowd of wild, feverish males surrounded Pam, ripping her clothes away with their claws while the grey squirrel squirmed atop the massive rod that impaled her.&nbsp; It was a goat who had won the right to fill her first, and he bore the wounds to prove it.&nbsp; One of his eyes was swollen shut, his chest and legs dripped blood from numerous claw marks and bites, but he seemed unfazed by these injuries.&nbsp; An unhinged grin was plastered on his face, and he laid upon the hood of a car like a king upon his throne.&nbsp; His hands gripped Pam&rsquo;s ankles tightly, pulling her farther down onto his pulsating length.&nbsp; Allie could see the outline of his dick bulging through her abdomen, traveling all the way to the bottom of her firm, cantaloupe sized breasts with each thrust.&nbsp; Pam&rsquo;s head rolled back, her mouth spread wide in a silent scream.&nbsp; Her limbs were stiff with shock, her claw tipped toes spread wide like little exclamation points.&nbsp; Males leapt and cavorted around them, impatiently awaiting their turn, snarling at each other and the goat who pumped Pam up and down upon his shaft.&nbsp; They didn&rsquo;t have to wait long.<br /><br />&nbsp; A deep, rumbling cry built deep within the goat&rsquo;s chest, louder and louder, until it was a piercing scream of triumph.&nbsp; The outline of the goat&rsquo;s dick began to disappear as Pam&rsquo;s once flat stomach rounded out like an inflating balloon.&nbsp; Her belly fur bristled and shifted, forced to conform to the newly rounded surface, while her inner muscles involuntarily squeezed the massive meat spear, desperate for every last drop.&nbsp; With each new stream of seed her belly stretched farther and farther away from her until it was a rigid oval of furred flesh that forced Pam and the dick that still speared her inflamed lips to lean forward.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; The goat released her ankles and slumped back onto the hood exhausted and satisfied, allowing Pam to dangle there limply like a marionette, her belly a ripe fruit swaying before the crowd.&nbsp; It sent them into an even greater frenzy, and renewed fighting broke out among the infected hoard over who would be the next to make her full term swell even riper.<br /><br />&nbsp; A hulking alligator, his blood stained hoodie the only thing left clinging to their scaly body, freed himself from the feral hoard and leapt onto the cars roof.&nbsp; While the rest fought amongst themselves he seized the opportunity and claimed his prize, ripping the limp, bloated squirrel from the goats softening shaft with a wet pop.&nbsp; He lifted Pam up by her tail and eyed the dazed, twitching squirrel hungrily, his watermelon sized testicles beginning to swell with even more seed.&nbsp; The gators battering ram of a dick pulsated with need, the veins that snaked across its length pumping more and more blood into the aching shaft.&nbsp; With a snarl he stabbed it deep into her punished pussy, making Pam&rsquo;s eyes bulge, a squeaky, lust filled cry leaving her lips.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Allie could already tell Pam was infected, the squirrel had that dreamy, almost drunken smile beginning to form on her face, and red was beginning to pool at the corners of her eyes.&nbsp; The squirrel began to push back against the seven foot reptile&rsquo;s thrusts, her bare foot paws pressing into his still growing ball sack, massaging and squeezing it with soft paw pads. The gator growled in pleasure, his jaws clamping around her throat as he reached his peak, teeth pressing just hard enough to hurt.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Pam sensed how close the massive reptile was and redoubled her efforts, rubbing her inner thighs along the rigid pole, it was the final push that sent him over the edge.&nbsp; Clamping down even harder onto Pam&rsquo;s throat the alligator let loose a pleasured growl, his teeth finally puncturing flesh, sending droplets of blood trickling onto her breasts.&nbsp; It looked like a firehose had been jammed deep into her womb and turned on full blast.&nbsp; The fluffy, full term ball she had sported just seconds ago rapidly expanded in every direction, the fur spreading thin, showing more of her pink, taught skin.&nbsp; Pam&rsquo;s cheeks puffed outwards, and she vomited all over the creaking dome, her stomach crushed by the expanding womb that took over more and more of her chest cavity.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Each powerful blast of seamen forced her skin to stretch thinner and thinner as the squirrel&rsquo;s womb took up every bit of available space, but it still wasn&rsquo;t enough.&nbsp; The bottom of her ribcage dug painfully into the expanding sack of seamen, preventing it from moving upwards.&nbsp; It gave her belly a flat shelf like top that jutted out past her slowly growing breasts, and highlighted the curved bones.&nbsp; The next heavy blast of seed cracked them apart like wish bones, allowing her womb to rush up towards her muzzle.&nbsp; It crushed Pam&rsquo;s lungs, pushing her breasts aside and forcing milk to spray from each stiff, rubbery nipple.&nbsp; The alligator was forced to lean forward by the growing weight attached to his massive rod, and soon he rested upon the ball of creaking flesh that Pam had become.&nbsp; Their weight dented the cars roof inwards, the grating groan of bending metal mixing with the rubbery squeals and liquid sloshing from her tortured orb.&nbsp; Pam caressed the shiny, red ball of flesh, her fingers brushing over bruised purple patches and blood red stripes of torn skin.&nbsp; She reminded Allie of an overfilled exercise ball, and as the alligator panted with exhaustion, waiting for his knot to deflate, the squirrel began to giggle, her pointy front teeth chattering, tail flicking into the reptiles face.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Allie turned away from the window and walked back towards the living room couch, she had seen enough.&nbsp; The badger found Nina fast asleep, her facial fur still damp with tears.&nbsp; The otter shivered and flinched, her dreams filled with dark and twisted creatures.&nbsp; Allie tucked the blanket more snuggly about her restless love, and left the room.&nbsp; If they were going to have a chance at survival the badger knew they would need to fortify the building, and there was a lot of work ahead of her.<br />&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; An uncomfortable quiet fell over everything as night approached.&nbsp; Allie had spent all day trying to seal every window and door the best she could.&nbsp; The badger had decided to raid her neighbor&rsquo;s apartments, taking whatever she thought was useful.&nbsp; With some nails she found in Ann&rsquo;s kitchen junk drawer and most of the floorboards from Barbara&rsquo;s living room the badger had boarded up the first floor&rsquo;s windows.&nbsp; The horse&rsquo;s weight lifting bench and bar bells had been re-purposed as a barricade for the back door as well, along with some of the sheep&rsquo;s furniture.&nbsp; Once she had finished fortifying the building as best she could the badger turned her attention to supplies.&nbsp; Every item of food in the building was rounded up and organized, every sink and tub filled in case they lost running water, and she had even put together a rather impressive set of makeshift weapons, selecting a samurai sword she had purchased last year from a shady junk store that soled hookah&rsquo;s, wicker furniture and other cheesy trinkets for herself.&nbsp; At the time Nina had been upset with the badger&rsquo;s impulse buy, but at least now it was good for something.<br /><br />&nbsp; The otter wasn&rsquo;t awake to witness any of her girlfriend&rsquo;s hard work though, exhaustion had made Nina dead to the world, and once darkness fully settled over the city Allie joined her, dropping into a plush recliner where she was soon claimed by an uneasy sleep.<br /><br />&nbsp; Outside the fire that had engulfed the remains of the bakery across the street had finally burned out, only twinkling embers left to disturb the inky shadows.&nbsp; Emergency Broadcast drones still floated by uselessly above the street, silent observers of a desolate land.&nbsp; The colder temperatures that came with the setting sun pushed the smoke towards the ground where is swirled amongst the wreckage like flowing water, obscuring the pavement from view.&nbsp; Most of the infected had wandered off, drawn to other victims or new mates.&nbsp; Only the females who had grown far too large to move remained.&nbsp; A fox rested on her side near the apartment building&rsquo;s front steps, a dazed, distant look upon her face.&nbsp; She stared off into space, bubbling foam escaping her open muzzle.&nbsp; Her arms and legs hugged the medicine ball sized orb that erupted from what must have been a trim waste only hours ago.&nbsp; Now it seemed to bubble like a coffee pot, the taught flesh constantly shifting and warping with internal movements.&nbsp; Her golf ball sized belly button warped into ovals and oblongs, the ruby red crinkled budge nothing more than a ship trapped upon a storm tossed sea.<br /><br />&nbsp; The fox was lucky, like most she had been spared the full attention of the hoard, Pam had faired far worse.&nbsp; She dwarfed them all, a bizarre Lovecraftian horror.&nbsp; The frame of the car that had become the squirrel&rsquo;s permanent resting place touched the ground, unable to bare the weight of the thick, wide, sausage shaped abomination her womb had become.&nbsp; It extended six feet from Pam&rsquo;s naked, cum coated body, her legs crushed and useless beneath its mass.&nbsp; The tortured, slithering tube of flesh was long enough to rest upon the hood of another car, creating a volatile bridge of sickly purple skin coated in grey fuzz.&nbsp; It pushed her frail, thin torso back into the windshield, cracking the glass and crushing her spine.&nbsp; The squirrel was dead, had been for hours.&nbsp; Her body nothing more than an egg sac now, she had become the vessel for a new type of infection.&nbsp; The virus was adapting, mutating, Pam was only the first of many.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Her head slumped against vein covered breasts that were mockeries of pregnant bellies, each nipple a thick dark golf ball that leaked a constant, pressurized spray of milk.&nbsp; Her eyes were dull, pupils dilated, an unhinged smile frozen upon her face.&nbsp; Each solid sack of milk bobbed atop the writhing meat tube bellow, making Pam&rsquo;s head flop from side to side like a macabre puppet.&nbsp; There were countless slithering coils beneath the surface, almost visible through the paper thin pelt.&nbsp; They moved through the fleshy tube with enough force to rock it from side to side, a solid sway that made the deep gashes that striped her hide grow wider and darker.&nbsp; The skin bulged outwards between these week points, giving her elongated belly the appearance of a freshly pealed orange resting on its side, each slice radiating from the dark blue cone of her rapidly failing navel.&nbsp; Black ooze had begun to trickle from its tip, and a few spurts erupted from her tortured stretch marks, mixing with the puddles of cum and sweat that coated the pavement below.&nbsp; The thrashing, writhing tendrils were too much for the trash bag thin skin, their constant movement only hastened the end of this oozing oblong egg.&nbsp; What had started as a trickle quickly became a spurt, then a geyser.&nbsp; The skin popping away along the seams of deep red that striped it like snapping thread.<br /><br />&nbsp; It shuddered like a wounded animal, bowing in the middle where it hovered above the ground, and split apart, flaps of flesh whipping open like the petals of a gore filled flower, unleashing a tidal wave of dark purple, ooze covered slugs.<br /><br />&nbsp; They slid across the ground, covering it in slick black goo, and almost immediately began to hunt, slithering off in every direction, and leaving trails of ooze in their wake.&nbsp; They wouldn&rsquo;t have to look far for new hosts.<br />&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Ann slept soundly on a makeshift bed of painter&rsquo;s tarps and laundry that only dulled the cold radiating from the basement floor.&nbsp; The sheep seemed untroubled by her current predicament.&nbsp; Laying on her back, arms and legs stretched out comfortably, she snored away without a care in the world.&nbsp; Becky watched her from across the room with a mix of envy and anger.&nbsp; The horse had spent hours arguing with the stubborn, ill-tempered sheep about what to do.&nbsp; Ann was confident that the National Guard would save them any day now, all they needed to do was wait.&nbsp; Becky wasn&rsquo;t so sure.&nbsp; They had only brought a few days&rsquo; worth of food with them, and although the basement windows were far too narrow for any of the infected to squeeze through there was only one exit, back through the lobby, and if those things were able to get into the building they would be trapped.<br /><br />&nbsp; As she sat there on the ground, her back against the washing machine, Becky realized she had made a mistake following Ann down here.&nbsp; Nina and Allie were fine, the horse had heard them fortifying the building all day.&nbsp; &ldquo;Fuck this,&rdquo; she muttered.&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll go upstairs in the morning and apologize,&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; She pulled the blanket that had been resting on her lap up around broad shoulders and made herself comfortable.&nbsp; Her troubled thoughts couldn&rsquo;t keep sleep away any longer.&nbsp; Closing her heavy eyes Becky slipped away into dreams, and was soon softly snoring.<br /><br />&nbsp; If she had been able to fight off the urge to sleep for a few minutes longer Becky probably would have heard the wet slap of slugs hitting the basement floor.&nbsp; They slithered through narrow gaps in the window frame above Ann&rsquo;s crudely made bed, dropping all around and even on to the sheep&rsquo;s white wool coat.&nbsp; They could see her heat signature from the street, and they all had one destination in mind.&nbsp; They slithered under her red t-shirt, over the black bra that covered her d cup breasts, across her toned fluffy abdomen, and wriggled past the elastic band of her grey sweat pants.&nbsp; The first ones to arrive at her matching black panties tried to slither through the nylon material, until a new arrival discovered the edge of this obstruction, and the moist pink petals within.<br /><br />&nbsp; Its slick, dark purple body slipped past Ann&rsquo;s pussy lips, making the sheep moan in her sleep.&nbsp; It was quickly followed by another, and another.&nbsp; Their fat long bodies began forcing themselves into her two at a time, then three at a time.&nbsp; Her panties bulged like an overloaded diaper, and the constant stimulation made Ann grip the tarps beneath her, her legs spreading, knees bending, hooves clenching with orgasmic bliss.&nbsp; She never felt the infection spreading through her, never awoke to see her t shirt begin to writhe and bubble outwards.&nbsp; Her mind slipped away peacefully, sank into the feverish ecstasy of the virus.&nbsp; When the sheep opened her red dilated eyes there was no longer any Ann.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br /><br />Becky snorted awake, something wet was moving between her legs.&nbsp; The horse shivered, her hands rushing to check her shorts, but her lower arms hit something rounded and solid below her firm double D&rsquo;s.&nbsp; She looked down, her sleep crusted eyes falling upon a strange round shape that filled her lap and tented the blanket that covered her muscular body.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; What the hell -------- Ann, were you fucking with me in my sleep?&nbsp; I am so not in the mood for this practical joker shit,&rdquo; she said angrily, ripping the blanket off of her body, but what lay beneath it was no prank.&nbsp; The firm, slowly swelling orb of brown fur that stretched the fabric of her tank top to its limits was real, and it moved with a bubbling intensity.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; She screamed, tried to scramble away from the onrushing stream.&nbsp; Her foot paws kicked and stomped the squishy invaders, scattering them across the cold cement floor, but it was no use.&nbsp; The infection was already spreading.&nbsp; Her mind was growing numb, coherent thoughts were leaving, fragmenting.&nbsp; Her limbs grew heavy, unresponsive, their muscles began to spasm.&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Heheheheheeeeee bigggy big grow!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Becky looked up, her eyes locking on to the red eyed sheep who slowly emerged from the dark.&nbsp; She cackled, her face warped by a painfully wide grin, foam trickling through her clenched teeth.&nbsp; Her hands slapped at the curved sides of the quad sized, raspberry shaped mass that forced her to lean forward.&nbsp; It thudded into her knees and swayed like a metronome with every shuffling step.&nbsp; The girthy sausage sized slugs covered her body, all headed towards her bare crotch, panties and pants long since discarded.&nbsp; If Becky could see past the writhing bump covered girth she would have seen the sheep&rsquo;s pussy spread painfully wide by dozens of them, their tails flapping against her ass and thighs as they slid farther into her depths.<br /><br />&nbsp; Ann wobbled to an unsteady stop before the confused and terrified horse and wrapped her hands around as much of the bulging mass as she could, her hands no longer able to touch the bare pink thumb that erupted from its peak.&nbsp; Her palms pressed into the damp, feverishly warm skin, barely denting the surface, and with a breathless giggling grunt she bent backwards, every muscle in her fluff coated arms straining to lift the still inflating blob upwards until she was fully upright.&nbsp; All Becky could see was the red lightning bolts that cascaded out of her puffy cloud white wool coat, splitting the coarse hair like rapidly widening fault lines.&nbsp; It was the last thing Becky saw with her darkening red eyes before the virus fully took hold.&nbsp; It raced at her face, propelled by gravity, and smashed into her with all its weight.&nbsp; She could barely breathe, her head turned sideways into the washing machines chromed surface.&nbsp; She could hear the muffled cackling above her, felt the swarm beneath the creaking layer of flesh thud against her face relentlessly, and began to giggle.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br /><br />The basement door crashed open, swinging back to crash into the wall where the doorknob embedded itself into the sheetrock.&nbsp; Nina shot up, releasing a startled squeak, head turning frantically for the source of the disturbance that rocketed her awake.&nbsp; Across from her Allie jumped out of the recliner, her cheaply made samurai sword clenched tightly in her right hand.&nbsp; She rushed to their front door, which had been reinforced with wooden boards hammered into the frame, and peaked through the peep hole while Nina looked on nervously.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh no,&rdquo; she whimpered.&nbsp; &ldquo; Please tell me they didn&rsquo;t break in!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Allie shushed the otter, her eye never leaving the tiny hole.&nbsp; Everything had gone quiet again, and the badger was listening so hard that her ears were ringing.&nbsp; She could see the front door was still barricaded, and at first the hallway seemed deserted.&nbsp; She wasn&rsquo;t prepared for the veiny, blood red eye that suddenly stared back at her.&nbsp; &ldquo;Peekieboo! Heheheheheheeeeee!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Shit,&rdquo; Allie cried out, stumbling back from the door, her sword dropping to the floor.&nbsp; Nina jumped to her paws and screamed, panic taking over.&nbsp; &ldquo; They did, they broke in!&rdquo;&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;N &ndash; no, it&rsquo;s Becky,&rdquo; the badger replied, her heart pounding.&nbsp; &ldquo;I heard her voice.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Something smashed into the apartment door with enough force to knock picture frames from the wall, snapping Allie from her momentary paralysis.&nbsp; The wooden boards splintered, the flimsy door cracked with each powerful blow.&nbsp; Allie rushed for her discarded sword and retrieved it from the floor.&nbsp; Nina watched the badger grip it in both paws and raise it above her head, turning sideways and spreading her legs like she was about to strike a baseball.&nbsp; &ldquo;Becky?&nbsp; What &ndash; what does she want?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina didn&rsquo;t answer her, she growled at the door and prepared for a fight as the repurposed floor boards began to snap away from the doorframe.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Lock yourself in the bedroom Nina,&rdquo; she said as calmly as she could.&nbsp; &ldquo; And no matter what you hear, don&rsquo;t open the door.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;What,&rdquo; the otter cried out, her ears flicking up, tail stiff with stubborn indignation.&nbsp; &ldquo;Im not just going to leave you al ---.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Allie tore her eyes off of the splintering door and shouted angrily at Nina.&nbsp; &ldquo;I said GO, NOW!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; She charged at the otter as the door finally gave way, pushing her into the bedroom, the door slamming shut behind the stunned water weasel.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Lock it Nina, please,&rdquo; shouted Allie, her voice trembling, tears beginning to dampen her fur.&nbsp; She could hear something slowly approaching, thick heavy clops that filled her with dread.&nbsp; &ldquo;I love you, you&rsquo;re the best thing that&rsquo;s ever happened to me Nina, and &ndash; and I&rsquo;m sorry I took you for granted.&nbsp; Goodbye.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Allie spun to face her enemy, sword ready to strike, and waited for the right moment.&nbsp; She could hear Nina pounding on the door, screaming at her to not leave her, but Allie knew if she didn&rsquo;t try to fight back then they were both doomed.<br /><br />&nbsp; Becky stumbled towards Allie like a zombie, back bent, arms outstretched, all of this to counterbalance the smooth oval egg that jutted feet from her body, the horse&rsquo;s stubborn abs refusing to give in to gravities demands.&nbsp; It was a rock hard battering ram of mottled mauve, bruised and bleeding around the herniated lump of a navel that marred its otherwise smooth surface.&nbsp; Faint blue veins slithered across the shiny fuzz covered expanse, narrow streams that struggled to supply her vast globe.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; She laughed madly, a feverish giggling cackle that was muffled by the thick white foam filling her mouth.&nbsp; Allie&rsquo;s stubby tail flicked nervously, her body tense, ready for action.&nbsp; She had to wait, had to let the lumbering horse get close.&nbsp; She only had one chance.<br /><br />&ldquo;Heheeeeeee groooowy grow tiiimmme,&rdquo; the horse shouted ecstatically, her unblinking red eyes locked onto the badger. With every clumsy step her knee would strike the five foot swell and anger its slimy inhabitants.&nbsp; The skin would ripple slightly like a pebble thrown into a pond, the flesh so taught their agitated slithering could barely dent the surface.&nbsp; Becky watched it bob and slosh closer and closer, the horses grinning face disappearing from view, dwarfed by the shiny orb.&nbsp; Her hands swiped at the badger, the horse&rsquo;s belly propelling her forward, but Allie was much more nimble than the engorged horse.&nbsp; The green haired badger dodged to her right and rushed past Becky, the horse unable to turn in time.&nbsp; She shrieked angrily, unable to stop herself, and smashed her oval girth into the bedroom door. Her arms flailed, unable to reach the wall, and the horse could only rock from side to side as she fought to regain her balance.&nbsp; Allie kicked out her leg and brought her foot paw crashing down onto the back of Becky&rsquo;s knee.&nbsp; The horse collapsed, crashing onto her back with a gurgling gasp as the whole weight of that turgid girth came to rest atop her, knocking the air from her compressed lungs.&nbsp; She flailed about uselessly, a turtle trapped on its back.&nbsp; &ldquo;Noooooo not fair,&rdquo; she whined.&nbsp; &ldquo; You need grow groooooow!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Allie backed away from the immobilized horse, towards the apartment door, her sword at the ready.&nbsp; Her mouth was dry, her heart pounding.&nbsp; She watched the horses bare legs spread wide, revealing the stretched out tunnel her vagina had become.&nbsp; It bulged and warped, spitting out a tangled mass of deep purple slugs that made Allie sick to her stomach.&nbsp; &ldquo; What the fuck, what the fuck,&rdquo; she said with shivering lips.&nbsp; The badger didn&rsquo;t know what to do, things were getting out of hand.&nbsp; Where was Ann, what had gotten to them down there, why was Becky full of those disgusting bugs?&nbsp; She backed into something hard, its surface covered in bulging bumps, and froze with a gasp of surprise.&nbsp; &ldquo;Heheheeeeee growwww time,&rdquo; giggled the familiar voice.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Allie tried to turn, but a white fluff covered hand gripped her wrist with unnatural strength, squeezing it until the badger&rsquo;s eyes filled with painful tears and she was forced to drop the sword.&nbsp; With her free hand Becky punched blindly at the sheep behind her, her blows connecting with the Ann&rsquo;s face again and again until her grip loosened on the badger&rsquo;s wrist.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; She rushed across the room, gripped a wooden chair, brandishing it at the massive sheep that struggled to claw her way through the door.&nbsp; Ann was a misshapen orb, her belly resting heavily on the ground, a warped mass of basketball sized bulges that shifted, rose and fell across the angry red surface.&nbsp; A thick unending swarm of slugs crawled their way out from under her purple streaked, vein covered mass.&nbsp; A carpet of slime that slithered towards the badger.&nbsp; Allie screamed, swinging the chair at the fat purple waves that wriggled at her paws.&nbsp; The chairs legs sent them flying into the walls, on to furniture, but there were always more to replace their fallen comrades.&nbsp; &ldquo;Get offa me!&nbsp; Get the fuck off,&rdquo; she screeched, her paws stomping into their rubbery bodies as dozens more began to slither up her legs.&nbsp; Allie was beginning to panic, she was trapped, her only escape route blocked by the undulating bushel of grapes wedged into the doorway.&nbsp; It seemed like Allie only had one option left, to shove the engorged sheep out of the way.&nbsp; With her mind made up the badger charged Ann, her wooden chair raised like a medieval jouster&rsquo;s pole.&nbsp; &ldquo;Get out of my apartment you BITCH,&rdquo; she bellowed, smashing the chair into the top of the flesh coated hive of slugs.&nbsp; The legs pressed into the sheep&rsquo;s paper thin pelt, releasing a liquid squeal from deep within its core, but it refused to move.&nbsp; Instead the jagged ruby wounds that radiated from her cone shaped navel split apart, unleashing a pressurized spray of black ooze that coated Allie and the ticking time bomb of a sheep.&nbsp; Allie stumbled back in horror, frantically wiping the black goo from her face.&nbsp; Ann&rsquo;s shocked, bulging eyes stared at the badger, her lower lip trembling as if she was on the verge of tears.&nbsp; &ldquo; No ----- feel good,&rdquo; she moaned, black fluid beginning to mix with the foam dripping from her muzzle.<br /><br />&nbsp; There was a loud creak, and Ann detonated like a water balloon, unleashing a tsunami of slugs and goo that crashed into the walls, swept up furniture in its wake, and buried the badger completely in her wriggling doom.<br />&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Nina watched the black liquid rush under the bedroom door from her curled up spot near the bed&rsquo;s head board.&nbsp; She cried, her heart aching.&nbsp; It was all over, Allie was gone, Pam was gone, everything and everyone she had ever known or loved had been taken from her in just one day.&nbsp; She felt so hopeless and alone.&nbsp; The apartment had grown quiet again, only the otter&rsquo;s anguished wails punctured the stillness of the night.<br /><br />&nbsp; When her door know began to rattle the otter didn&rsquo;t bother locking it, she hadn&rsquo;t bothered when Allie had shoved her into the room to begin with.&nbsp; The otter didn&rsquo;t care anymore.&nbsp; Let them come, they could have her.<br /><br />&nbsp; The door clicked open, and Nina watched it swing back to reveal the slime coated body of her one true love.&nbsp; Allie smiled at Nina, her red eyes twinkling merrily, and cradled the quad sized ball that undulated in her paws like snakes in a bag.&nbsp; &ldquo;Heheheee, growy grow tiiiimmme,&rdquo; she crowed happily, waddling towards the bed, and in that moment Nina came to a realization.&nbsp; She wasn&rsquo;t alone, not as long as she still had Allie.&nbsp; Even if they both lost themselves to the virus they would still be together.&nbsp; The otter wiped away the tears that streamed from her bloodshot eyes, stood up from the bed and reached out for Allie, embracing the giggling, fecund badger in her arms as the thick purple slugs began to swarm the otter&rsquo;s legs.&nbsp; &ldquo;I love you Allie, I love you so much.&rdquo;</span>",
