"writing": "The tiny store was filled with flowers.  They peaked from the glass fronted refrigerator’s and erupted from vases where they had been tastefully arranged.  Even the floor and shelf lined walls were almost hidden from view.  A fairly wide path lead from the front door and through this sea of sweet smelling greenery to an old polished wood counter upon which a battered register sat.  From the back room behind this counter someone hummed a simple melody that wafted through the air. \n\n    This lovely sound grew closer, and the top of a head appeared from behind the register.  Finely combed brown hair cascaded down to unseen shoulders in a bob cut, and from those silky locks two small rounded nubs of antler protruded.  Far above a dozen balloons followed the vertically challenged creature, their nylon cords held in a dainty hand.  With a grunt of effort they hopped up onto a stool beside the register, and the face that arose into view proved to be quite pretty in a plain sort of way. \n\n   Sapphire eyes were framed by oval ears that tapered to a thin point.  The deer’s muzzle sloped downwards, delicate and small, terminating at a black button nose.  The bridge of her muzzle was covered in tan freckles that spread to her cheeks, and below this was a smile that could melt ice.  Two curved fangs protruded downwards from the corners of her mouth, pointing to a thin neck and narrow shoulders.  The doe’s small breasts barely pushed out against the top of her simple yellow dress, and along with thin arms and legs gave the muntjac the appearance of a teenager.  No one would have ever guessed she had just celebrated her twenty-seventh year.  Still humming away she tied the strings to the side of her cash register, and placed a small cardboard sign on the countertop which read “Add a balloon to your arrangement for just one dollar more.”\n\n    The jingling of the bell over her shop door grabbed the small deer’s attention.  “A customer,” she whispered excitedly to herself.  A business suit clad beaver approached the counter, his face buried in the cell phone held in his hand.  He tapped away at the device as the doe launched into her practiced greeting.  “Good morning sir, and welcoming to Jani’s Flower Bonanza,” she called out in her lightly accented singsong voice.  “My name is Jani, how am I helping you today?”\n\n  The beaver stopped before her and signaled for the deer to wait by raising his arm and extending one claw tipped finger.  He continued to tap away while Jani leaned forward to examine the paw with a look of confusion.  “Oh!  He is wanting to shake the hands,” she thought suddenly, his strange gesture finally deciphered.  Jani reached out and grasped the beaver’s hand in her own, pumping her arm up and down.  The beaver’s head snapped up, a look of surprise on his face.  “What are you doing, let go of me,” he cried out, ripping his claw tipped digits from her surprisingly tight grasp.  “Shaking your hand sir,” she replied happily. \n\n  “Well next time keep your paws to yourself,” the beaver grumbled, shoving his phone into a coat pocket. \n\n“Do not worry sir. I have no choice but to keep them to myself.  They are attached to my wrists.”\n\nHe frowned, unsure of how to respond.  “Riiiiight ----------- good to know.  Just give me a dozen roses, and make it quick.  I have a meeting to get to.”\n\n  Jani’s smile grew even wider at the mention of roses.  “Oh, yes sir.  I have many colors, what kind are you liking!?”\n\n  “Any color, doesn’t matter, just hurry it up.”\n\nJani scratched her head.  Any color? That was such a hard decision to make.  “Are they for a special occasion?  Red is perfect for dates, and white would go nicely with wedding or proposal.”\n\n  The beaver thumped his tail angrily, patience all but gone.  “What is this, twenty questions,” he snarled. \n\nJani jumped, releasing a surprised bark at the rude beaver’s sudden outburst.  “No sir -----th - this is a flower shop,” she replied uncertainly.\n\n  The beaver just stared at her with genuine confusion plastered upon his face, unsure if the muntjac was messing with him or not.  He stood there for a moment, and then turned away, grumbling under his breath.\n\nJani waved at the beavers back while he stormed towards the entrance, her cheerful smile returning.  “Thank you, come again!”\n\n  The only reply she got was the sound of the door slamming shut.\n\n \n \n\n   That evening Jani knelt in her front yard with a big floppy sunhat perched upon her head, and busied herself planting petunias.  While her trowel dug shallow holes for each star shaped red flower, Jani thought over the day’s events.  There had only been six customers, which was a good day really.  Usually that number was much lower, but as usual most of them left without buying anything.  She just couldn’t figure out what she was doing wrong. \n\n   Jani’s social life wasn’t much better.  All of her friends and family still lived in Bharat, and it made the little deer feel so lonely.  Almost every night she would call them on her holo-phone, but talking to the grainy three dimensional images of her loved ones just made the deer feel worse.  She wasn’t going to give up though.  Jani just knew she would make friends eventually.  The little deer just needed to figure out how.\n\n  With a sigh the doe straightened up and stretched her back, letting her eyes wander around the cul-de-sac she called home.  The sun was beginning to set behind the one story ranch house across from her.  Its shingles had been freshly painted a robin’s egg blue with white trim, and in the driveway a tall rabbit leaned over the hood of a 58 Boulevard coupe.  It was a massive car, covered in chrome that had been polished to perfection.  Jani had often seen the lanky lapin working on it, and she watched him for a while as he struggled to remove some part from the engine.  From time to time he would reach out an oil covered hand to the tool box on the front fender and fumble for a pry bar or socket.  Not long after Jani noticed him the front door of the blue house swung open, and a voice called out. \n\n   “Jerry!  Could you be a dear and pick up the twelve pizza’s I just ordered?”\n\n  Jerry looked up from his work, wiping grease covered hands on his grey coveralls.  “Babe, I just finished pulling the alternator, it’s gonna take me another half hour to get the new one in.”\n\n  “But I need them nooow,” the voice whined, and Jani saw something begin to emerge.  It looked like the doorway was blowing a bubble, and it took a minute for her to realize what it really was.  A belly, one of the biggest Jani had ever seen.  It stretched over two feet from the brown furred rabbit who owned it, and was barely contained by an ill-fitting t-shirt that failed to cover even half of her barrel shaped bulge, revealing a half circle of thinly furred flesh that seemed to shimmer just as much as the cherry red paint on Jerry’s car.  It was pressurized, the faint remnants of side rolls that had been pulled tight giving away just how unnatural of a state this was for the full term looking bunny.  She pressed her palms into the small of her back and waddled to the edge of the porch. The rabbit’s gravity defying belly brushed over the railing, and lowered onto the thin wood, making it creak and bend beneath the load she forced upon it.  The rotund rabbit seemed relieved to have something support the bolder of flesh, and with a satisfied moan she moved her hands to rub gentle circles along its bulging sides.\n\n  “Don’t you want me to win my first competition,” she asked, a slight pout forming on her lips. \n\n  Jerry’s shoulders slumped, how could he say no to the love of his life.  “Of course I do Delila, no one wants to see you win more than I do.”  He approached the globe of flesh that threatened to snap the porch railing and looked up at the rabbit it was attached to.  “I’ll call a hover cab, did you want anything else while I’m out?”\n\n  Delila wiggled her wide hips, tail flicking with excitement at the idea of more.  Weeeell we are out of heavy cream, Candy just finished off the last five gallons.  Oh, and carrot cake, like ten ----no, fifteen carrot cakes!  Gotta get my thirty thousand calories in for the day or else coach Candy is gonna be pissed.” \n\n   “I’ll see what I can do,” he chuckled, planting a tender kiss on her puckered navel, “but the cab only has so much room.”\n\n  Jani smiled at the tender display of affection and went back to work, but soon the soft tap of paw pads on concrete reached the doe’s sensitive ears, and when Jani looked up again she noticed her next door neighbor Michelle approaching.  The plump albino rat was returning from her evening jog, and hadn’t yet noticed the short doe among the bushes and flowers, not until it was too late.\n\n  When Michelle reached the edge of the yard Jani sprang to her hooves and waved at the jogging rodent.  “Hello again neighbor!  Hope you have had good day.”\n\n  The rat jumped, letting loose a startled squeak.  Michelle’s tail went ramrod straight, eyes widening with surprise, but only momentarily.  Once she realized who was to blame for scaring her half to death those eyes quickly narrowed into a smoldering glare.\n\n  “I’m so sorry for scaring,” Jani said, stifling a giggle with one dirty paw.  “Just wanting to say hello.”\n\n  The albino rat took a deep breath and placed her hands on the picket posts of Jani’s fence. \n\n  “You seem to have a bad habit of doing that – err – Jenny is it?”\n\n  The deer shook her head, causing the brim of her sunhat to flop about.  “No, no, it’s Jani, but is an easy mistake.”\n\n    “Oh terribly sorry Jessy,” replied Michelle, her voice dripping with disinterest.  Where is my head today?”\n\n  “It’s on your shoulders silly,” giggled Jani.\n\n   Michelle ground her teeth, gave a thin lipped smile, and nodded slightly at the small deer who swung too and fro before her, sending the skirt of her yellow sun dress twirling about brown furred knees.\n\n “Listen, you seem nice enough, a dim bulb obviously but nice.  So I’m going to keep this real simple.  You NEED to stop bothering me every time I leave my house.  I don’t want to smell your flowers, I don’t want to try your brownies.  I just want to enjoy my exercise routine in peace and quiet.”\n\n  Jani paused at this, her brow furrowing with thought.  “But, to ignore you wouldn’t be neighborly.”\n\nMichelle leaned over the fence, casting her shadow upon the smaller deer, her claw tipped digits digging furrows through the white washed fence posts.   “Neighborly,” she asked with a sinister glint in her eyes. “The next time you bother me I’ll show you my definition of neighborly.”\n\n  The rat’s veiled threat flew right over Jani’s head.  The doe bounced on her slender hooves, releasing a squeal of excitement at what she believed to be an invitation.  “Oh that sounds lovely,” she cried out, clapping her hands.  “I am so very eager to learn!”\n\n  Michelle’s tail wilted, ears folding back into golden hair.  “Great, now I have a headache,” she muttered under her breath.”\n\n  Jani approached her neighbor, reaching up to lay her hand upon the rat’s shoulder.  “Aww, you poor thing,” she said sympathetically.  “Would you like me to be getting the aspirin?”\n\n  Michelle rose up, twisting her shoulder out of Jani’s grasp.  “No,” she snarled through clenched teeth.  “You can take your aspirin and shove it!”  With that the rat stormed off, muttering to herself as she went.\n\n   Jani watched Michelle go, taking off her sun hat to scratch her head.  “Shove it where,” she wondered.\n \n\n  After that day thick clouds settled over the neighborhood, and Jani was forced to stay inside and away from her garden while torrents of rain fell outside.  The doe spent her evenings after work sitting by her bay window, looking out at the garden.  She worried about her flowers, if the rain was too hard, or lasted too long they could be damaged or drowned.  So when blue sky’s finally returned Jani was overjoyed.  She grabbed her pruning shears and practically leapt from the front porch and into her realm.\n\n  She moved from one flower bed to the next, checking petals for mold, propping up damaged stems with thin sticks and twine.  Around her birds sang their soothing melodies from the trees, drowning out the faint hum of hover cars that passed through tufts of cloud high above. \n\n  She became lost in her little world, even going so far as to speak with her wounded patients.  “Oh you poor sunflower” she cued.   “Let me helping you with those nasty grubs.”\n\n  “I’m sorry but it’s gonna have to wait till later.”\n\n  Jani froze, her ears twitching, searching for the source of that curt reply.  It was so close.  Her mouth opened, her mind coming to one amazing conclusion.\n\n  “Gasp, little sunflower, you can talk!?\n\n  “Delila please!  You promised me a week ago you’d help me with these tests.”\n\n  There it was again, and this time it sounded just like her neighbor.  Jani stared down at the little yellow flower with a blank expression that often came over her when deep in thought.  Gears turned slowly in her head.\n\n“Michelle is too big to be sunflower,” that was Jani’s final conclusion.  She smiled and nodded, agreeing with herself.  The voices she had heard were coming closer as well, and of course flowers don’t walk.  So that meant it had to be her neighbor approaching.  The little deer rose to her hooves, slapped dirt from her knees, and watched a curios procession approach.\n\n   The fecund rabbit from across the street plodded towards Jani’s house with a slow and deliberate pace.  A white tank top struggled to contain her thick, meaty breasts, which spilled from the sides of each cup, slapping against the top of her gut with every slow, swaying step.    She seemed a bit sickly.  Her cheeks puffed from time to time with thick, sharp belches, but the brown furred rabbit’s pretty face was focused and confident, even if she did wince once in a while. \n\n  Delila’s back was pulled forwards into a sharp curve by the oblong swell that erupted from her waist.  It seemed to have grown slightly since Jani had last seen her, hanging a bit lower, protruding a little farther, and flaring sharply at the sides where her stomach pressed for more room.  The tightly packed mass shuddered from time to time, contracting the flushed pink skin and forcing her gut to lift slightly.  Each spasm sent her belly button shooting outwards from the shallow crater of thick fat that encircled it.  The beginnings of a faint red line shot down from between her breasts, arching and widening until it sliced through her navel, then tapering back down into the crotch of her sweat pants.  Jani always thought the rabbits belly looked like a ripening apple, and this thought of course led to her thinking of baking an apple pie. \n\n  In two hands Delila gripped a rope, which extended over one shoulder and down to the red flyer wagon that rolled along behind her on squeaky wheels. The small metal cart was completely filled by an oval of orange and tan Corgi.\n\n  The rotund dog argued with the lab coat clad rat who brought up the rear of this parade, when her mouth wasn’t full of course.  The Corgi’s wide pointed ears with their stud earrings flicked every time her jaws clamped around the large meatball sub that sat wedged between ample breasts.  Chewing frantically, the dog drummed her hands on the rounded shelf of the ball belly that anchored her to the wagon, grinning smugly up at Michelle with bulging cheeks.\n\n  “Well things changed squeaks, the champ needs to step up her training if she’s gonna win, and what does that mean?”\n\n  Delila’s ears shot upwards, her back straightening suddenly, forcing the heaving two and a half foot drum to rise in salute.  “Every day is buffet day,” she barked out like some character from a boot camp movie. “No pain, no gain!”\n\n  Jani could plainly see that the Corgi was bullying Michelle, the poor rat’s hands were clenched by her sides, tail raised high like a cobra preparing to strike.  There was anger in her eyes, but she almost looked hurt by this sudden change of plans.\n\n“I wasn’t talking to you butterball,” she snarled through gritted teeth at the smug little dog.\n\n  “Well excuuuuuse me princess,” Candy replied in a nasally, mocking tone.  Raising her thick tan furred right arm she directed a clawed middle finger at the frustrated scientist.\n\n  Delila thumped one of her powerful feet, turning as best she could to look at her two bickering friends.\n\n   “Candy cut it out!”\n\n  The rotund Corgi crossed her arms and slouched into the wagon.  “Pfft whatever,” she muttered.  Candy stared down at the massive sub still jutting from her cleavage with a pout on her face for a moment, and then practically unhinged her jaw.  Rows of sharp white fangs visible for barely a moment, before she thrust her head forward and deep throated the foot long snack.\n\nDelila lowered the rope from her shoulder and finished her slow, lumbering turn to face Michelle.  She looked genuinely remorseful about letting her friend down, ears wilting as she looked into her friends angry eyes. \n\n  “I’m really sorry dude, like I just found out today that Candy wants to ramp up my training.  Could I test your space food in a few days?”\n\n  Michelle’s shoulders slumped, she couldn’t stay mad at Delila. “I only have a week.  If this product line isn’t tested now I’ll never make the deadline and that obnoxious tit Phoebe will get the contract.  You know I can’t let that happen.  It would be like that protein bar fiasco all over again, I’d never hear the end of it.”\n\n  Delila wrapped her arms around Michelle and drew the rat in for a big bear hug.  She had to bend forward to accomplish this, causing her belly to slap against her thighs and hang between them like a ripe fruit.  It pressed into Michelle’s groin and upper chest, making the rat’s whiskers twitch and teeth chatter as she tried to downplay just how much she enjoyed the tender embrace.  “Oh Michelle, you worry too much about that awful bird, she’s nothing but hot air.”\n\nMichelle nuzzled her face into Delila’s pillowy cleavage and sighed.  “Easy for you to say, you don’t have to deal with her.”\n\n“I guess you’re right, but I know you’ll find a way.  You always do.  She hasn’t destroyed you yet, right?”\n\n  Michelle looked up at the chubby face of her best friend and nodded, trying to put on her most convincing smile.  “No, not yet. \n\n   With a sigh the rat pulled back from their embrace and patted the sides of Delila’s bulging gut, hardly denting the taught flesh.  “Well good luck with your training, and call me ok.  If you need digestive aids or – you know – anything.”\n\n “Geeze, I’ve gone through one fucking sub and we still aren’t at the buffet,” snapped the immobilized Corgi, her mouth slathered in tomato sauce.  “Enough with this fucking soap opera, we’re wasting valuable training time!”\n\n  Delila rolled her eyes at the petulant dog, and turned to leave.  “I’ll eat em out of business just for you Michelle, so keep your phone handy.”\n\n  Michelle stood there in front of Jani’s front gate, mere feet from the curious doe, and watched Delila head off down the street with her bitchy friend in tow.  Jani felt so bad for her neighbor.  She looked lonely and defeated, and it made her think of her own loneliness.  Perhaps she could cheer Michelle up and help her with her problem.  After all that’s what good neighbors did.\n\n   “If you are needing help my friend perhaps I can assisting you,” Jani called out, wringing her hands nervously.  “Would you like to be talking about it over tea?”\n\n  The rat stared off for a moment before responding to the question.  She turned her head and inspected the doe with a look of dazed curiosity.  The whiskers on the right side of her muzzle began to twitch, along with her right eye.  A smile flooded Michelle’s face, a sinister smile.\n\n  “Well hello again neighbor!  I’m glad you asked that question.”\n \n\n \n\nJani stared up at the monstrosity of mortar and brick before her.  It wasn’t like she had never seen Michelle’s house before, it was just that she had never seen it up close.  The massive structure dominated every inch of land between Jani and Delila’s modest homes, and must have stretched back several football fields.  Numerous factories, high rise buildings and even a nuclear reactor could be seen from behind the sprawling Georgian style mansion that fronted the street, making Michelle’s home look more like an industrial complex than anything else.  Michelle walked beside her, one hand pressed to the deer’s back, forcing her towards the entrance. \n\n  “So nice of you to volunteer Jani, very neighborly of you!  You’re doing a great thing for science today, isn’t that exciting,” asked the rat, her voice pleasant and upbeat, eyes cold and calculating.  Michelle sized up Jani like a hungry predator, and led her past the threshold and into the oak paneled entrance hall. \n\n  “Oh yes, very much exciting,” squeaked Jani as she skipped along beside the albino rat, looking around her at the framed awards and photo’s that they passed.  One in particular showed a massive oblong of tiger striped red and purple that Michelle seemed to be hugging.  Jani stopped in her tracks and stared up in awe at the spectacular sight.\n\n“Ah yes, my Guinness Record, quite an experience, very fulfilling.”  Michelle straightened the frame slightly, stepping back to make sure it was centered before motioning for Jani to follow her deeper into the heart of the building.\n\n  “You – you looked like ripe tomato,” stuttered Jani as she rushed to catch up to the fast paced rat.\n\n  “Well aren’t you sweet, thank you for saying so!  Left me with a bit of baby fat as they say.  It’s the reason why I do my daily jog, though recently I haven’t been able to enjoy them like I used to.”\n\n  Michelle stopped at a door and emphasized her last sentence, eyes narrowing while her outstretched paw wrapped around the knob.  “Oh that’s terrible to be hearing,” replied Jani, her heart going out to the poor rat.\n\n  Michelle’s unhinged smile just grew even wider.  “Oh don’t you worry about me,” she said, opening the door. “After today something tells me things will be juuuuuuust fine.”\n\n“Oh good,” Jani replied with a happy bark. \n\n  The room they entered was almost empty, and its light blue walls were devoid of pictures.  A conveyor belt stretched into the middle of the room, stopping before a rather comfy looking padded leather chair. \n\n  This wasn’t like any laboratory that Jani had ever seen, not that Jani had ever been in a lab before.  She had seen them a lot on television and in the movies though, and they usually were filled with strange equipment and beakers of multi colored bubbling liquid.\n\n  “This is lab,” she asked with a hint of confusion, glancing up at the rat who stood next to her.\n\n“Oh heavens no, I wouldn’t let you within a mile of my lab.  This is just one of my testing rooms.”\n\n   Jani was confused, she thought she would be assisting Michelle with exciting experiments, like building a Frankenstein.  The reality didn’t match her expectations at all.  “Oh, so how can we science without a lab?”\n\n  Michelle walked past the doe and up to the black leather chair, tail flicking happily.  “Oh Jani, you don’t need a lab to pursue scientific endeavors,” the albino rat said, resting her shoulders upon the back of the chair.  Michelle leaned over it to eye her prey.  The simple minded doe was falling right into her trap, it was just too perfect!  Soon Jani would be too stuffed to leave her house, allowing Michelle to once again jog in peace.  Just thinking about it sent a tingle of joy through her spine.\n\n“Come here,” she said with a Cheshire grin, patting the recliners cushioned seat, “and I’ll explain.”\n\n  Jani nodded her head with a smile.  The chair was twice as tall as she was, but the deer was able to slide onto the cushion easily enough, and wiggle backwards with her butt, legs and hands from there.  Her dainty hooves dangled a foot above the ground and kicked back and forth, exhibiting the excitement of their owner.  “I am so happy to be helping you Michelle,” she said, looking up at the albino rat with childish joy. “Is nice to be needed and not alone with flowers.”\n\n   Michelle was caught off guard by that one, just hearing the word friend made her uncomfortable.  The rat’s grin faltered for a moment, but the deer didn’t seem to notice.  “Ahem, yes.  Well ------- friend.  The task I have for you today is very important.”\n\n  Jani’s jaw dropped slightly, her eyes following Michelle as she moved to the side of the chair where a control panel stood on a pedestal.  No one had ever trusted her with anything important before.\n\n   “As a product tester it will be your job to sample my new line of deep space colonization rations.  Your input will allow me to complete them in time to meet my deadline for the Global Space Association, so listen carefully.  All you have to do is eat each sample and tell me what you think.  Can you handle that?”\n\n  “Oh yes, I will do best job for you I promise,” Jani cried out, bouncing in her seat like a giddy child on Christmas day. \n\n  Michelle began flicking switches on the board, and with a mechanical whir the conveyor belt rose to meet Jani’s chin.  “Excellent!  Well enough of this gay banter then, let’s get started!”\n\n   Jani was surprised by the sudden movement, her oval ears wilting slightly, head pulling back to examine the belt.  A line of light brown circles emerged from the small window at the other end of the conveyor, each one steadily approaching her face.\n\n   “These are my condensed meal tablets, each one an exact recreation of the original.  First up we have roasted chicken.”\n\n  Jani laid back in the chair with a look of determination, opened her mouth, and let the first hockey puck sized tablet fall effortlessly past her lips.   As she chewed Jani noticed a thick, fudge like quality similar to brownies, but the taste was completely different.  Her tong was overwhelmed with the savory spices, the juicy white meat.  It was just like the real thing, no, it was even better!  Jani closed her eyes and swallowed, a look of satisfaction on her face.  It settled heavily in her stomach, but left Jani craving more.\n\n  “Oh my, this is delicious!  Very firm but is tasting just like chicken.”\n\n  “Splendid,” cried Michelle, clapping her paws.  “I’ll make a note of that firmness, now let’s try the next sample.  We need to make sure the formula is stable.  So let me know if there is any variation in taste.” \n\n   Jani tried to reply but found her mouth instantly filled by another brown disc, and then another.  The conveyor was moving faster now, and Jani quickly found her cheeks bulging with three of them.  She chewed as quickly as she could, forcing large chunks down her throat with thick, straining gulps.  She was determined to not let a single disc hit the ground, she wouldn’t let Michelle down.  Her new friend was counting on her.\n\n  She quickly fell into a steady rhythm, her jaws moving rapidly, head tilted back, cushioned by the thickly padded backrest.  The flavor flooded her taste buds, never variating, always delicious.  When the conveyor finally stopped Jani found herself chomping at thin air. \n\n  “Well!  You handled that quite well Jen – er - Jani.  I think you might be a natural at this.”  Michelle was genuinely pleased with Jani’s performance.  It was rare to find a tester who could keep up with the conveyor belt’s medium setting.  Usually Michelle had to manipulate their jaws with hydraulic actuators so they could manage the speed.\n\n  Jani beamed from ear to ear, a smile so pure even Michelle couldn’t resist its simple charm.  “You are really thinking so,” exclaimed the brown furred muntjac.\n\n  “I don’t usually say things I don’t mean my dear,” said Michelle with a smirk.  “Now how were those samples, did you notice any variation in the taste?”\n\n  Jani smacked her lips, the flavor of roasted chicken still fresh on her tongue.  “It tasted sameness to me, always very yummy.”\n\n  Michelle nodded and began scribbling notes onto her clipboard, giving Jani a few moments to recover from testing.  She felt pleasantly full, but the synthesized food sat like a brick in her stomach, making Jani feel heavy and sluggish.  She ran a paw across her abdomen and felt a slight curve in her once flat belly.  She didn’t have much time to think about this new development though.\n\n  “All right,” chirped Michelle enthusiastically.   “Next we have steak and potatoes!”\n\n  The conveyor rolled to life once more, and Jani braced herself for the next round of tests.  The steak and potatoes were also delicious, so were the hotdogs and beans that followed it, and the fettuccine alfredo.  Each new disc weighed her down, forcing Jani’s toned rear deeper into the cushions.  She was feeling uncomfortably full by the time they reached the lasagna.  The deer’s breathing had grown shallow, her eyes half lidded.  She still ate with a look of determination, her jaws moving a bit slower, still managing to keep up with the flow of condensed meals but beginning to ache.  Something started to press into Jani’s lap, but the doe couldn’t look down, not until she finished.\n\n  When the belt finally stopped again Jani’s cheeks were bulging.  Her jaws struggled to break down the wad of lasagna flavored discs that filled her mouth.  Her head bobbed up and back like a baby bird, forcing barely chewed chunks down her gullet with the pure momentum of the movement.  Each thick swallow slid slowly down her throat, and added to the stomach ache that Jani had tried so hard to hide from Michelle.  She slumped forward once her mouth was clear, gasping for air. \n\nThat’s when Jani discovered what had been pressing so firmly into her thighs. The yellow material of her dress tented outwards as if a basketball had been shoved under her skirt, but the doe’s hesitant paws found only the firm surface of her engorged abdomen beneath the cloth.  Just the pressure of her paw tips sent sharp bolts of pain through the engorged orb, forcing her slender paws to retreat.  She looked up at Michelle\n\n  “I am not --- feelings so good,” she moaned, her head slumping back into the cushioned chair.  She released a wet, sharp belch and held the sides of the solid bulge pressing into her lap. \n\n Jani’s tongue slid over her dried lips like sand paper on wood.  Her mouth had suddenly gone bone dry.  “Oh, did not think-urp-tummy could get so big,” she said with a whimper, her face flinching as another spasm of pain rolled through her overloaded gut.  “Is not happy with me I think.”\n\nMichelle glanced up from her clipboard, eyed Jani for a moment, and then returned to her notes.  “Yes, yes, that’s to be expected.  I’ll get you some pain killers momentarily, but first, how was that lasagna?”\n\n   Just hearing the word lasagna made Jani’s stomach churn.  It had been just as good as the others, but her body seemed to be rejecting food at this point.  “”Was – very good – flavor was always same – but is making me very thirsty,” she croaked out hoarsely. \n\n  “Hmm, probably too much sodium,” Michelle mumbled into her clip board.  “Computer, activate water fountain.”\n\n  A beep rang out in reply, and with a hiss of pressurized air a pedestal rose beside Jani’s chair.  The sickly doe rolled her head to examine it, and was relieved to find a faucet sticking from its flat top, with a full pitcher and water glass by its side.  Jani lunged for the pitcher with a speed that surprised Michelle.  The poor deer’s gut gurgled angrily, unhappy with the movement it was forced to endure as Jani Leaned onto her side, forcing her ball gut to press painfully into the armrest.  She didn’t care though, only quenching her thirst mattered at the moment.  Water dribbled from the corners of her mouth, dripping down onto her dress and seeping into her fur.  She made short work of the pitcher, but the thirst still persisted.  With shaky hands she refiled the pitcher, and resumed her desperate chugging.  Each gulp made her insides twist into knots, her stomach was running out of room.  The yellow dress had reached the limits of its elasticity, and now imprisoned her ballooning belly.  The fabric creaked and crackled, but these sounds were drowned out by the high pitched, liquid squeals of her tortured stomach.  Her belly button itched as the small hole was forced closer and closer towards the surface.  It was losing its circular shape.  Flattening into a tender, shallow tear drop that could be easily seen through the tightening cloth. \n\n  Michelle just watched the spectacle play out in front of her. The albino rat was loving every moment of it, her eyes glued to the swelling orb as it began to break free.  Threads popped all along the sides of her dress, revealing widening diamonds of brown.  Half way through her third pitcher the seams finally failed.  With a crack the whole front snapped apart like a rubber band, the tension it had been under propelling the cloth upwards to flop back onto the deer’s meager breasts. \n\n  With this newfound freedom Jani’s gut surged forwards, pressing harder into the recliners side and pushing her backwards until she lay wedged between both armrests.  She still feebly reached for the faucet, but the distance was too great now.  She quickly gave up, her energy far too low.  She groaned, letting the empty pitcher fall from her grasp, and rested her hands gently on the surface of her bulbous belly.  Her hide was hot to the touch, and as firm as a watermelon.  She lay there, legs curled up to press into the tender, thinly furred underside of the bulbous mass that pinned her in place, and whimpered.\n\n  It took a moment for Michelle to snap out of her haze.  She realized her inner thighs had been rubbing together, her nether lips dripping with sexual desire.  The little deer was putting on quite a show, and it was pushing all of Michelle’s buttons.\n\n  She shook her head, and put down her clipboard.  “Ahem, well I think we should take a break before starting the next testing phase,” she said.  Trying not to appear eager Michelle approached Jani and kneeled before her belly.  With practiced movements she pressed her palms into Jani’s swollen sides, searching out pockets of air and forcing them upwards with a deeper press of her hand.  Jani squirmed, letting lose short, pained barks in between belches, but Michelle could tell that even once the deer was thoroughly burped she still wouldn’t be able to hold much more.  Not without some help anyhow.\n\n   Michelle’s mind wandered to the other project she had been working on, and removed an injector from her pocket.  Inside it sat a vial of Nano machines, microscopic robots programed for one specific purpose.  It was untested however, a complete unknown.  If it worked Jani’s body could repair itself, never rupturing, always expanding, but if it failed ---------.  Did she really want to watch this eager to please dear eat that badly?\n\n  “All right Jani, I’m going to give you something to help with the pain.  You might feel a slight pinch -----.”  The rat pressed the injector into one of the numerous blue veins that had been forced to the surface by her overloaded stomach, and pressed down on the triger.  Jani was in so much pain she didn’t even notice the sharp pinch of the needle. \n\n   Michelle returned the injector to her lab coat pocket and pressed an ear to the surface of Jani’s gut.  Just below her skin it sounded like a boiling cauldron, clear signs of the violent turmoil within.  The albino rat loved those sweet, high pitched tones.  They were music to her ears, but as she listened a new sound began to build. \n\n    The deep, pulsating ache emanating from the core of the doe’s belly felt like it was going to split her apart, and even worse than that, it prevented Jani from helping her friend.  How could she let Michelle down like this?  The little deer moaned, her eyes shut tight, and sucked air through clenched teeth.    “Michelle I – I am so sorry –gasp but – glooorglubglub!” \n\n  Jani’s apology was cut short by the bubbling roar.  She opened her eyes, and watched the surface of her stomach pulsate with inner movement.  Her pain began to disappear, replaced by a tingling sensation that spread through her abdomen, and onwards to her extremities.  Just as quickly as it started, the feeling left her, and the over packed bloat protruding from her waist grew still.   \n\nMichelle straightened up, looking pleased with herself.  “Hmmm, sorry for what?”\n\nJani flopped onto her back, her belly following the sluggish, fumbling movement after a few seconds delay.  It shifted as one solid mass, rolling across her thigh and down into the space between her wide spread legs, where it teetered to a stop.  From her slumped position all Jani could see was her mountainous gut.  “The pain, is all gone --- but how?”\n\n  “Just a mild sedative to settle your muscles,” said Michelle in what she hoped was a convincing tone.\n\n  Jani poked and prodded her belly, barely denting the pressurized surface.  “So – so is this meaning I am not needing to stop testing?”\n\n  Michelle patted the top of her gut, creating the same deep sound a volley ball made when it hits the ground.  “Stop testing?”  Why Jani, we’re just getting started!”\n\n  Jani wiggled her but, trying to sit up, but mostly succeeded in shifting her gut from side to side.  The doe’s mouth curled into an eager grin, her brows lowering with determination.  “Yes!  Let us continue the science,” she cheered, pumping her arms into the air.  Michelle had to stifle a smirk, and the fact that the dimwitted doe had managed to drag such a response out of her was quite the surprise.  Maybe her annoying neighbor wasn’t so bad after all.  She was one of the most willing test subject’s Michelle had ever come across, even if she was like claws on a chalkboard personified.  Perhaps once she’s an unmovable ball I can keep her around like a pet, Michelle thought.\n\n   “I do so love your enthusiasm, Jani!  Testers such as yourself are rare these days, you could go far in this field.” \n\n  Jani beamed with pride, wrapping her arms around the medicine ball that jutted from her waist, paw tips barely touching the thin crater that had once been her navel.  “I am just wanting to be bestest science helper for my new friend.  Is what friends do.”\n\n  “Well friend, you’ve been a tremendous help so far, and I think you’re ready for the next test,” she said enthusiastically.  “Computer, lower the feeding tube please.”\n\n  The same beep as before rang out through the room, followed by the whir of gears. Looking up at the source of the noise Jani was surprised to see a clear plastic mask descending towards her face.\n\n   “To go along with my condensed meal tablets I created a vitamin shake in several different flavors, just slip on that mask and we’ll get started.”\n\n    It resembled a scuba mask, with a similar mouthpiece, and she pulled it towards her to slip the elastic head band over her silky hair.  Her teeth bit into the rubber mouthpiece like a bridle, the mask fitting snuggly around her muzzle. \n\n  Jani wasn’t even done tightening the straps when a steady flow of liquid flooded her mouth.  It was thick, creamy, just like a vanilla milk shake. \n\n  Jani gulped it down like she hadn’t eaten in days, her eyes focused on the rounded hill that blocked her view.  At first all she could feel was the increasing pressure, followed by an itchy feeling that began to spread from the deer’s bulging flanks.  Her skin was beginning to split, forcing itself to continue conforming to the overloaded organs within, and her finger tips sought out the itchy fissures to try and sooth them.  Soon her arms began to widen, paw tips losing ground to her expanding girth.  A liquid groan of defeat rumbled from the core of her stomach, and Jani watched her belly begin to rise like bread dough.\n\n  The pace was slow but steady, and Michelle could no longer resist the temptation to worship the growing monolith.  Moving to the front of Jani’s chair, Michelle pressed her whole body into the rising ball.  It reached up to her breasts, and threatened to bump into her chin, but that was fine with Michelle.  With her arms wraped around as much of her girth as she could reach the rat ground her body into the tender flesh, paws rubbing soothing circles across the hot, thinly furred surface.  Michelle could feel the front of Jani’s stomach pressing into her crotch as it expanded forward.  It was hanging over the edge of the chair’s seat cushion now, forcing Jani’s legs as wide as the arm rests would let them.  It was unaffected by the pull of gravity, pushing straight out into thin air, pushing Michelle backwards while also rising higher and higher until her chin rested comfortably on the rumbling surface.\n\n  Jani kept sucking, waiting for Michelle to stop the flow and question her about the taste, but she never did.  Vanilla changed to chocolate, then strawberry, mango and strawberry.  Michelle wasn’t interested in collecting data any more, the vitamin shakes had already been tested weeks ago.  This was purely for pleasure now, Jani was at the mercy of Michelle’s sexual hunger.  “Don’t mind me dear, just – unf – running a few elasticity tests,” she grunted out.  Jani just nodded her head, shaking the tube that hung from the ceiling. \n\n  Her belly was beginning to ache again as the pressure within her reached all new levels.  The pain grew until it was sharp, piercing deep into the core of her quad sized bulge.  Then she felt it, her stomach began to tingle again, washing the pain away.  It shuddered farther out, extending far enough now to tip Jani forward.  She could feel her butt beginning to lift from the seat cushion.  The view beyond the wall of her belly improved slightly, and Jani could finally see Michelle.  The rat looked so happy, her eyes closed, whiskers twitching at the corners of a peaceful smile.  Seeing her new friend so happy drove the little doe to swallow even harder, and with a shuddering gag that convulsed through her throat she relaxed her muscles, and just let the heavy liquid rush past uninterrupted.  The sudden increase finally forced Jani’s flattened navel to thrust outwards, the skin thin and crinkled.\n\n   The tingling was constant now, and so was the pain.  Deep within Jani the Nano machines fought to repair her stomach lining.  Dozens of ruptures had been repaired already, but they were starting to become overwhelmed.  Michelle could feel the doe’s belly pressing into her knees now, and the aroused rat was forced to step back and end the tender bear hug.  Without her body to keep Jani seated her torpedo shaped monstrosity of a stomach tilted forward, thumping into the ground and raising the doe high in the air like a child on the end of a see-saw.  The sudden impact angered the sensitive beast, and it vibrated with a deep bubbling growl.  Her flesh was almost transparent, displaying each and every vein that struggled to pump blood to the far flung corners of her globe.  Her grapefruit sized belly button pressed hard into the wood floor and bulged oddly to the side.  It looked ripe and purple, the flesh around it a deep red that radiated outwards from the center like a ruby flower.  Slowly fading into pink and tan where her fur and flesh was less mangled.  The stretchmarks were deep fissures now, fault lines that quivered with instability.\n\n  Looking at Jani squirming with discomfort atop her deformed abdomen, Michelle began to realize she had gotten carried away again. This happened from time to time, and it usually didn’t end well for her test subjects, but it had been eight weeks since her last workplace abdominal failure, and she was confident the Nano machines would keep Jani together.\n\n  The doe’s face was beat red, her cheeks and neck swollen, eyes watering.  Deep within her something was beginning to give.  The tingling was unbearable now, she couldn’t tell where it ended and the pain began.  Her stomach was ripping everywhere, there was nothing more the overworked Nano machines could do.\n\n   “Well that’s enough for today,” Michelle said with a flustered squeak, running her hands through her golden hair.  She started to walk towards the control panel, but it was too late for that.  The machines couldn’t keep up with the damage any longer, and with a rubbery squeal the dark red fault lines that arched across the bulbous surface split like a wet paper bag.\n\n  Michelle stopped mid walk and balled her fists when the rumbling splash filled the room. It was followed by a heavy thud and a torrent of multi - colored goo that rushed past her foot-paws.  The rat’s heart skipped a beat, she knew what that meant.  Despite herself the rat shuddered with orgasmic release and tried to compose herself.  “Sigh, well I wasn’t planning on popping you, but I’m not gonna lie -sigh- splitting you apart felt real good.”  Not bothering to turn around, the lab coat clad rat sauntered towards the door like a new woman.  The vast weight of her annoying neighbor lifted from Michelle’s shoulders at long last.\n\n  “Oh well, she was fun while she lasted.  Computer,” Michelle called out.  “There appears to be a bug in the nano-machine’s coding, find it and rectify.  Notify sanitation there’s a mess in testing room six as well.”\n\n  The computer acknowledged her commands with the same beep it always used, and without looking back Michelle quickly left the room to clean herself up.\n\n   Jani’s body was hidden by the plush leather chair, which had been knocked over by the force of her stomach’s detonation.  Only one limp, lifeless arm could be seen draped over one of the legs.  It was small and delicate, covered in bits of chewed food and blood, and it was beginning to twitch.\n\n   The blood and gore that covered the floor and walls was moving, slithering towards the chair as if it was being sucked up by a straw.  The mass of red pooled around the hidden deer, shrinking rapidly from view until not a single trace remained.  Only half digested meal tablets and pools of vitamin shake met the eyes of the cleaning crew when they entered the room. \n\n   “Jeez Frank, we should have brought the whole cleaning cart with us,” grumbled a young male rat who bore a striking resemblance to Michelle.  He was rather short and heavy set, his thick frame clad in a white jumpsuit.  “Yeah, I’ll go grab it.  Just get the body wrapped up while I’m gone alright Ted, I don’t want to be stuck here all day cleaning up ma’s latest mistake.”\n\n  “Frank turned his tall, lanky body towards the door and disappeared around the corner, leaving Ted to his gruesome task.  He rolled out the bag onto a clean section of floor and unzipped the front.  “Sigh, knew we were overdue for another one of these,” he muttered to himself.  “All right, let’s get this over with.”\n\n  The stocky rat approached the overturned chair and bent over.  She looked peaceful, her eyes closed.  If Ted didn’t know any better he would have thought she was just sleeping.  He gripped her hand tightly in his own, and her eyes fluttered open.\n\n   “Ahhhhh, get it offa me, get it offa me,” he cried, trying to shake Jani’s powerful grip.  “Hello,” said Jani with a sleepy yet pleasant voice.  “My name is Jani, nice to be meeting you.”\n\n  Ted dragged the small deer from behind the chair in his flailing attempts to free his hand.  Jani looked around in a daze, only half aware of the terrified rat she clung to.  “Help, heeeelp me! It’s a zombie!  Mom created another fucking zombie, can you believe this shit!”\n\n  Jani finally released her grip, sending Ted crashing backwards into the wall.  Still screaming obscenities at the top of his lungs the terrified rat raced for the door, almost knocking over Michelle on his way out. \n\n  “Ted!  What the hell is going on!  Can’t I have some peace and qui ------- JANI!”\n\nMichelle stood there in the doorway, her tail stiff with shock, and stared in disbelief at the undamaged doe laying amongst a sea of half digested slop.\n\n  “What ----- happened,” Jani asked weakly.  “Can’t remember.”\n\n     Michelle grimaced, rubbing the bridge of her muzzle with wo claw tipped fingers.  She could feel a migraine coming on.\n\n“You just – ah – blacked out, too much to eat, that’s all,” she lied. \n\n  Jani gazed down at her abdomen, confused to see it flat and toned once again.  “But where did tummy go,” she asked with a much stronger voice, looking up at Michelle with wide, curious eyes.  “Oh, well you threw up when you passed out, see -----,” said Michelle, sweeping her paw across the food splattered room. \n\n  Jani shot up, a look of shock on her face.  “Oh no!  I’m so sorry to be making mess.  Please forgive me.”  The little deer didn’t seem to realize she was naked and covered in muck.  She went about scooping up the ooze that coated the floor, looking around for a trash can. “I will gettings the mop and be making clean with very much quickness, you will be seeing.” \n\n “She just shot right up, ma,” Ted exclaimed.  Almost stumbling over his words to get them out.  “It was crazy!  She gripped my hand like a vise and ---.”\n\n  “Yeah, ok, alright Ted!  It’s alright, “grumbled the angry rat, trying to be as motherly as she could.  “The nanomachines just had a delayed reaction, that’s all.  They must not be able to repair sustained damage to the body.”  Her tone softened as she spoke and ended with a pat on the shoulder.  “Now get this cleaned up while I deal with my headache.”\n\n  Michelle approached the naked, food smeared deer where she knelt on the floor, surrounded by little sandcastles of sludge.  Michelle regarded her with cold eyes, her mind turning, hands clasped behind her back.  This was an interesting development, something worthy of further study.  Perhaps this headache of hers could have its uses after all.  There was much data to be collected.”\n\n  The lab rat knelt down in front of Jani, looking into her wide, innocent eyes. “That’s alright Jani, the janitors can take it from here.”  She stood up, reaching out a hand to the doe.  Come on, let’s get you into a shower and a new set of clothes.”\n\n  Jani looked at the offered hand for a minute, studying it thoughtfully, and then grasped it with both hands, pumping her arms up and down in the most violent attempt at a handshake Michelle had ever seen.\n\n  “Oh thanking yous so much Michelle, you are so niceness with the hospitalities and I am hoping to have been help to you with the researches.”\n\n  Michelle yanked Jani up onto her feet, almost losing her balance in the process, and ripped her hand from the doe’s vice-like grip.  “Jeez-uh-yes, yes.  You’ve been a huge help.  In fact, Jani, how would you like to be my new lead tester?”\n\n  The little deer gasped so deeply Michelle thought it was the beginning of a heart attack, but she was soon screeching like an excited school girl.  Jani bounced on her dainty hooves and clasped her hands together, furiously nodding her head.  “Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!  I am accepting, I accepting!  What great honor for me.  Thanking yous so much, my bestest friend!”\n\n  Michelle tried to lead her naked neighbor towards the door while Tom, still shaken up by this sudden resurrection, got to work with his mop.\n\n  “Friend, right.  Jani, have you ever signed a legally binding contract before?”\n\nJani tapped her chin and thought about that.  “Ummm, no.  Jani has never been needings the contract lenses.”\n\n  “Michelle just nodded her head and smiled.  Good, she was going to have fun with this new toy of hers.  Well, as much fun as she could have with someone as annoying as Jani.",

The rabbit&rsquo;s gravity defying belly brushed over the railing, and lowered onto the thin wood, making it creak and bend beneath the load she forced upon it.&nbsp; The rotund rabbit seemed relieved to have something support the bolder of flesh, and with a satisfied moan she moved her hands to rub gentle circles along its bulging sides.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t you want me to win my first competition,&rdquo; she asked, a slight pout forming on her lips.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jerry&rsquo;s shoulders slumped, how could he say no to the love of his life.&nbsp; &ldquo;Of course I do Delila, no one wants to see you win more than I do.&rdquo;&nbsp; He approached the globe of flesh that threatened to snap the porch railing and looked up at the rabbit it was attached to.&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll call a hover cab, did you want anything else while I&rsquo;m out?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Delila wiggled her wide hips, tail flicking with excitement at the idea of more.&nbsp; Weeeell we are out of heavy cream, Candy just finished off the last five gallons.&nbsp; Oh, and carrot cake, like ten ----no, fifteen carrot cakes!&nbsp; Gotta get my thirty thousand calories in for the day or else coach Candy is gonna be pissed.&rdquo;&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll see what I can do,&rdquo; he chuckled, planting a tender kiss on her puckered navel, &ldquo;but the cab only has so much room.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani smiled at the tender display of affection and went back to work, but soon the soft tap of paw pads on concrete reached the doe&rsquo;s sensitive ears, and when Jani looked up again she noticed her next door neighbor Michelle approaching.&nbsp; The plump albino rat was returning from her evening jog, and hadn&rsquo;t yet noticed the short doe among the bushes and flowers, not until it was too late.<br /><br />&nbsp; When Michelle reached the edge of the yard Jani sprang to her hooves and waved at the jogging rodent.&nbsp; &ldquo;Hello again neighbor!&nbsp; Hope you have had good day.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The rat jumped, letting loose a startled squeak.&nbsp; Michelle&rsquo;s tail went ramrod straight, eyes widening with surprise, but only momentarily.&nbsp; Once she realized who was to blame for scaring her half to death those eyes quickly narrowed into a smoldering glare.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;m so sorry for scaring,&rdquo; Jani said, stifling a giggle with one dirty paw.&nbsp; &ldquo;Just wanting to say hello.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The albino rat took a deep breath and placed her hands on the picket posts of Jani&rsquo;s fence.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; You seem to have a bad habit of doing that &ndash; err &ndash; Jenny is it?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The deer shook her head, causing the brim of her sunhat to flop about.&nbsp; &ldquo; No, no, it&rsquo;s Jani, but is an easy mistake.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Oh terribly sorry Jessy,&rdquo; replied Michelle, her voice dripping with disinterest.&nbsp; Where is my head today?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; It&rsquo;s on your shoulders silly,&rdquo; giggled Jani.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Michelle ground her teeth, gave a thin lipped smile, and nodded slightly at the small deer who swung too and fro before her, sending the skirt of her yellow sun dress twirling about brown furred knees.<br /><br />&nbsp;&ldquo;Listen, you seem nice enough, a dim bulb obviously but nice.&nbsp; So I&rsquo;m going to keep this real simple.&nbsp; You NEED to stop bothering me every time I leave my house.&nbsp; I don&rsquo;t want to smell your flowers, I don&rsquo;t want to try your brownies.&nbsp; I just want to enjoy my exercise routine in peace and quiet.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani paused at this, her brow furrowing with thought.&nbsp; &ldquo; But, to ignore you wouldn&rsquo;t be neighborly.&rdquo;<br /><br />Michelle leaned over the fence, casting her shadow upon the smaller deer, her claw tipped digits digging furrows through the white washed fence posts.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Neighborly,&rdquo; she asked with a sinister glint in her eyes. &ldquo; The next time you bother me I&rsquo;ll show you my definition of neighborly.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The rat&rsquo;s veiled threat flew right over Jani&rsquo;s head.&nbsp; The doe bounced on her slender hooves, releasing a squeal of excitement at what she believed to be an invitation.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh that sounds lovely,&rdquo; she cried out, clapping her hands.&nbsp; &ldquo;I am so very eager to learn!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle&rsquo;s tail wilted, ears folding back into golden hair.&nbsp; &ldquo;Great, now I have a headache,&rdquo; she muttered under her breath.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani approached her neighbor, reaching up to lay her hand upon the rat&rsquo;s shoulder.&nbsp; &ldquo;Aww, you poor thing,&rdquo; she said sympathetically.&nbsp; &ldquo;Would you like me to be getting the aspirin?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle rose up, twisting her shoulder out of Jani&rsquo;s grasp.&nbsp; &ldquo; No,&rdquo; she snarled through clenched teeth.&nbsp; &ldquo; You can take your aspirin and shove it!&rdquo;&nbsp; With that the rat stormed off, muttering to herself as she went.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Jani watched Michelle go, taking off her sun hat to scratch her head.&nbsp; &ldquo;Shove it where,&rdquo; she wondered.<br />&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; After that day thick clouds settled over the neighborhood, and Jani was forced to stay inside and away from her garden while torrents of rain fell outside.&nbsp; The doe spent her evenings after work sitting by her bay window, looking out at the garden.&nbsp; She worried about her flowers, if the rain was too hard, or lasted too long they could be damaged or drowned.&nbsp; So when blue sky&rsquo;s finally returned Jani was overjoyed.&nbsp; She grabbed her pruning shears and practically leapt from the front porch and into her realm.<br /><br />&nbsp; She moved from one flower bed to the next, checking petals for mold, propping up damaged stems with thin sticks and twine.&nbsp; Around her birds sang their soothing melodies from the trees, drowning out the faint hum of hover cars that passed through tufts of cloud high above.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; She became lost in her little world, even going so far as to speak with her wounded patients.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh you poor sunflower&rdquo; she cued.&nbsp; &nbsp;&ldquo;Let me helping you with those nasty grubs.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;m sorry but it&rsquo;s gonna have to wait till later.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani froze, her ears twitching, searching for the source of that curt reply.&nbsp; It was so close.&nbsp; Her mouth opened, her mind coming to one amazing conclusion.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Gasp, little sunflower, you can talk!?<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Delila please!&nbsp; You promised me a week ago you&rsquo;d help me with these tests.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; There it was again, and this time it sounded just like her neighbor.&nbsp; Jani stared down at the little yellow flower with a blank expression that often came over her when deep in thought.&nbsp; Gears turned slowly in her head.<br /><br />&ldquo;Michelle is too big to be sunflower,&rdquo; that was Jani&rsquo;s final conclusion.&nbsp; She smiled and nodded, agreeing with herself.&nbsp; The voices she had heard were coming closer as well, and of course flowers don&rsquo;t walk.&nbsp; So that meant it had to be her neighbor approaching. &nbsp; The little deer rose to her hooves, slapped dirt from her knees, and watched a curios procession approach.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; The fecund rabbit from across the street plodded towards Jani&rsquo;s house with a slow and deliberate pace.&nbsp; A white tank top struggled to contain her thick, meaty breasts, which spilled from the sides of each cup, slapping against the top of her gut with every slow, swaying step.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She seemed a bit sickly.&nbsp; Her cheeks puffed from time to time with thick, sharp belches, but the brown furred rabbit&rsquo;s pretty face was focused and confident, even if she did wince once in a while.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Delila&rsquo;s back was pulled forwards into a sharp curve by the oblong swell that erupted from her waist.&nbsp; It seemed to have grown slightly since Jani had last seen her, hanging a bit lower, protruding a little farther, and flaring sharply at the sides where her stomach pressed for more room.&nbsp; The tightly packed mass shuddered from time to time, contracting the flushed pink skin and forcing her gut to lift slightly.&nbsp; Each spasm sent her belly button shooting outwards from the shallow crater of thick fat that encircled it.&nbsp; The beginnings of a faint red line shot down from between her breasts, arching and widening until it sliced through her navel, then tapering back down into the crotch of her sweat pants.&nbsp; Jani always thought the rabbits belly looked like a ripening apple, and this thought of course led to her thinking of baking an apple pie.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; In two hands Delila gripped a rope, which extended over one shoulder and down to the red flyer wagon that rolled along behind her on squeaky wheels. The small metal cart was completely filled by an oval of orange and tan Corgi.<br /><br />&nbsp; The rotund dog argued with the lab coat clad rat who brought up the rear of this parade, when her mouth wasn&rsquo;t full of course.&nbsp; The Corgi&rsquo;s wide pointed ears with their stud earrings flicked every time her jaws clamped around the large meatball sub that sat wedged between ample breasts.&nbsp; Chewing frantically, the dog drummed her hands on the rounded shelf of the ball belly that anchored her to the wagon, grinning smugly up at Michelle with bulging cheeks.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Well things changed squeaks, the champ needs to step up her training if she&rsquo;s gonna win, and what does that mean?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Delila&rsquo;s ears shot upwards, her back straightening suddenly, forcing the heaving two and a half foot drum to rise in salute.&nbsp; &ldquo;Every day is buffet day,&rdquo; she barked out like some character from a boot camp movie. &ldquo; No pain, no gain!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani could plainly see that the Corgi was bullying Michelle, the poor rat&rsquo;s hands were clenched by her sides, tail raised high like a cobra preparing to strike.&nbsp; There was anger in her eyes, but she almost looked hurt by this sudden change of plans.<br /><br />&ldquo;I wasn&rsquo;t talking to you butterball,&rdquo; she snarled through gritted teeth at the smug little dog.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Well excuuuuuse me princess,&rdquo; Candy replied in a nasally, mocking tone.&nbsp; Raising her thick tan furred right arm she directed a clawed middle finger at the frustrated scientist.<br /><br />&nbsp; Delila thumped one of her powerful feet, turning as best she could to look at her two bickering friends.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Candy cut it out!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The rotund Corgi crossed her arms and slouched into the wagon.&nbsp; &ldquo;Pfft whatever,&rdquo; she muttered.&nbsp; Candy stared down at the massive sub still jutting from her cleavage with a pout on her face for a moment, and then practically unhinged her jaw.&nbsp; Rows of sharp white fangs visible for barely a moment, before she thrust her head forward and deep throated the foot long snack.<br /><br />Delila lowered the rope from her shoulder and finished her slow, lumbering turn to face Michelle.&nbsp; She looked genuinely remorseful about letting her friend down, ears wilting as she looked into her friends angry eyes.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;m really sorry dude, like I just found out today that Candy wants to ramp up my training.&nbsp; Could I test your space food in a few days?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle&rsquo;s shoulders slumped, she couldn&rsquo;t stay mad at Delila. &ldquo;I only have a week.&nbsp; If this product line isn&rsquo;t tested now I&rsquo;ll never make the deadline and that obnoxious tit Phoebe will get the contract.&nbsp; You know I can&rsquo;t let that happen.&nbsp; It would be like that protein bar fiasco all over again, I&rsquo;d never hear the end of it.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Delila wrapped her arms around Michelle and drew the rat in for a big bear hug.&nbsp; She had to bend forward to accomplish this, causing her belly to slap against her thighs and hang between them like a ripe fruit.&nbsp; It pressed into Michelle&rsquo;s groin and upper chest, making the rat&rsquo;s whiskers twitch and teeth chatter as she tried to downplay just how much she enjoyed the tender embrace.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh Michelle, you worry too much about that awful bird, she&rsquo;s nothing but hot air.&rdquo;<br /><br />Michelle nuzzled her face into Delila&rsquo;s pillowy cleavage and sighed.&nbsp; &ldquo;Easy for you to say, you don&rsquo;t have to deal with her.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I guess you&rsquo;re right, but I know you&rsquo;ll find a way.&nbsp; You always do.&nbsp; She hasn&rsquo;t destroyed you yet, right?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle looked up at the chubby face of her best friend and nodded, trying to put on her most convincing smile.&nbsp; &ldquo; No, not yet.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; With a sigh the rat pulled back from their embrace and patted the sides of Delila&rsquo;s bulging gut, hardly denting the taught flesh.&nbsp; &ldquo;Well good luck with your training, and call me ok.&nbsp; If you need digestive aids or &ndash; you know &ndash; anything.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp;&ldquo;Geeze, I&rsquo;ve gone through one fucking sub and we still aren&rsquo;t at the buffet,&rdquo; snapped the immobilized Corgi, her mouth slathered in tomato sauce.&nbsp; &ldquo;Enough with this fucking soap opera, we&rsquo;re wasting valuable training time!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Delila rolled her eyes at the petulant dog, and turned to leave.&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll eat em out of business just for you Michelle, so keep your phone handy.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle stood there in front of Jani&rsquo;s front gate, mere feet from the curious doe, and watched Delila head off down the street with her bitchy friend in tow.&nbsp; Jani felt so bad for her neighbor.&nbsp; She looked lonely and defeated, and it made her think of her own loneliness.&nbsp; Perhaps she could cheer Michelle up and help her with her problem.&nbsp; After all that&rsquo;s what good neighbors did.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo; If you are needing help my friend perhaps I can assisting you,&rdquo; Jani called out, wringing her hands nervously.&nbsp; &ldquo;Would you like to be talking about it over tea?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The rat stared off for a moment before responding to the question.&nbsp; She turned her head and inspected the doe with a look of dazed curiosity.&nbsp; The whiskers on the right side of her muzzle began to twitch, along with her right eye.&nbsp; A smile flooded Michelle&rsquo;s face, a sinister smile.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Well hello again neighbor!&nbsp; I&rsquo;m glad you asked that question.&rdquo;<br />&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;<br /><br />Jani stared up at the monstrosity of mortar and brick before her.&nbsp; It wasn&rsquo;t like she had never seen Michelle&rsquo;s house before, it was just that she had never seen it up close.&nbsp; The massive structure dominated every inch of land between Jani and Delila&rsquo;s modest homes, and must have stretched back several football fields.&nbsp; Numerous factories, high rise buildings and even a nuclear reactor could be seen from behind the sprawling Georgian style mansion that fronted the street, making Michelle&rsquo;s home look more like an industrial complex than anything else.&nbsp; Michelle walked beside her, one hand pressed to the deer&rsquo;s back, forcing her towards the entrance.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; So nice of you to volunteer Jani, very neighborly of you!&nbsp; You&rsquo;re doing a great thing for science today, isn&rsquo;t that exciting,&rdquo; asked the rat, her voice pleasant and upbeat, eyes cold and calculating.&nbsp; Michelle sized up Jani like a hungry predator, and led her past the threshold and into the oak paneled entrance hall.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh yes, very much exciting,&rdquo; squeaked Jani as she skipped along beside the albino rat, looking around her at the framed awards and photo&rsquo;s that they passed.&nbsp; One in particular showed a massive oblong of tiger striped red and purple that Michelle seemed to be hugging.&nbsp; Jani stopped in her tracks and stared up in awe at the spectacular sight.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ah yes, my Guinness Record, quite an experience, very fulfilling.&rdquo;&nbsp; Michelle straightened the frame slightly, stepping back to make sure it was centered before motioning for Jani to follow her deeper into the heart of the building.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; You &ndash; you looked like ripe tomato,&rdquo; stuttered Jani as she rushed to catch up to the fast paced rat.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Well aren&rsquo;t you sweet, thank you for saying so!&nbsp; Left me with a bit of baby fat as they say.&nbsp; It&rsquo;s the reason why I do my daily jog, though recently I haven&rsquo;t been able to enjoy them like I used to.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle stopped at a door and emphasized her last sentence, eyes narrowing while her outstretched paw wrapped around the knob.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh that&rsquo;s terrible to be hearing,&rdquo; replied Jani, her heart going out to the poor rat.<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle&rsquo;s unhinged smile just grew even wider.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh don&rsquo;t you worry about me,&rdquo; she said, opening the door. &ldquo; After today something tells me things will be juuuuuuust fine.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh good,&rdquo; Jani replied with a happy bark.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; The room they entered was almost empty, and its light blue walls were devoid of pictures.&nbsp; A conveyor belt stretched into the middle of the room, stopping before a rather comfy looking padded leather chair.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; This wasn&rsquo;t like any laboratory that Jani had ever seen, not that Jani had ever been in a lab before.&nbsp; She had seen them a lot on television and in the movies though, and they usually were filled with strange equipment and beakers of multi colored bubbling liquid.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; This is lab,&rdquo; she asked with a hint of confusion, glancing up at the rat who stood next to her.<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh heavens no, I wouldn&rsquo;t let you within a mile of my lab.&nbsp; This is just one of my testing rooms.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Jani was confused, she thought she would be assisting Michelle with exciting experiments, like building a Frankenstein.&nbsp; The reality didn&rsquo;t match her expectations at all.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh, so how can we science without a lab?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle walked past the doe and up to the black leather chair, tail flicking happily.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh Jani, you don&rsquo;t need a lab to pursue scientific endeavors,&rdquo; the albino rat said, resting her shoulders upon the back of the chair.&nbsp; Michelle leaned over it to eye her prey.&nbsp; The simple minded doe was falling right into her trap, it was just too perfect!&nbsp; Soon Jani would be too stuffed to leave her house, allowing Michelle to once again jog in peace.&nbsp; Just thinking about it sent a tingle of joy through her spine.<br /><br />&ldquo;Come here,&rdquo; she said with a Cheshire grin, patting the recliners cushioned seat, &ldquo;and I&rsquo;ll explain.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani nodded her head with a smile.&nbsp; The chair was twice as tall as she was, but the deer was able to slide onto the cushion easily enough, and wiggle backwards with her butt, legs and hands from there.&nbsp; Her dainty hooves dangled a foot above the ground and kicked back and forth, exhibiting the excitement of their owner.&nbsp; &ldquo;I am so happy to be helping you Michelle,&rdquo; she said, looking up at the albino rat with childish joy. &ldquo; Is nice to be needed and not alone with flowers.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Michelle was caught off guard by that one, just hearing the word friend made her uncomfortable.&nbsp; The rat&rsquo;s grin faltered for a moment, but the deer didn&rsquo;t seem to notice.&nbsp; &ldquo;Ahem, yes.&nbsp; Well ------- friend.&nbsp; The task I have for you today is very important.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani&rsquo;s jaw dropped slightly, her eyes following Michelle as she moved to the side of the chair where a control panel stood on a pedestal.&nbsp; No one had ever trusted her with anything important before.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo; As a product tester it will be your job to sample my new line of deep space colonization rations.&nbsp; Your input will allow me to complete them in time to meet my deadline for the Global Space Association, so listen carefully.&nbsp; All you have to do is eat each sample and tell me what you think.&nbsp; Can you handle that?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh yes, I will do best job for you I promise,&rdquo; Jani cried out, bouncing in her seat like a giddy child on Christmas day.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle began flicking switches on the board, and with a mechanical whir the conveyor belt rose to meet Jani&rsquo;s chin.&nbsp; &ldquo;Excellent!&nbsp; Well enough of this gay banter then, let&rsquo;s get started!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Jani was surprised by the sudden movement, her oval ears wilting slightly, head pulling back to examine the belt.&nbsp; A line of light brown circles emerged from the small window at the other end of the conveyor, each one steadily approaching her face.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo; These are my condensed meal tablets, each one an exact recreation of the original.&nbsp; First up we have roasted chicken.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani laid back in the chair with a look of determination, opened her mouth, and let the first hockey puck sized tablet fall effortlessly past her lips.&nbsp;&nbsp; As she chewed Jani noticed a thick, fudge like quality similar to brownies, but the taste was completely different.&nbsp; Her tong was overwhelmed with the savory spices, the juicy white meat.&nbsp; It was just like the real thing, no, it was even better!&nbsp; Jani closed her eyes and swallowed, a look of satisfaction on her face.&nbsp; It settled heavily in her stomach, but left Jani craving more.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh my, this is delicious!&nbsp; Very firm but is tasting just like chicken.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Splendid,&rdquo; cried Michelle, clapping her paws.&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll make a note of that firmness, now let&rsquo;s try the next sample.&nbsp; We need to make sure the formula is stable.&nbsp; So let me know if there is any variation in taste.&rdquo;&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Jani tried to reply but found her mouth instantly filled by another brown disc, and then another.&nbsp; The conveyor was moving faster now, and Jani quickly found her cheeks bulging with three of them.&nbsp; She chewed as quickly as she could, forcing large chunks down her throat with thick, straining gulps.&nbsp; She was determined to not let a single disc hit the ground, she wouldn&rsquo;t let Michelle down.&nbsp; Her new friend was counting on her.<br /><br />&nbsp; She quickly fell into a steady rhythm, her jaws moving rapidly, head tilted back, cushioned by the thickly padded backrest.&nbsp; The flavor flooded her taste buds, never variating, always delicious.&nbsp; When the conveyor finally stopped Jani found herself chomping at thin air.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Well!&nbsp; You handled that quite well Jen &ndash; er - Jani.&nbsp; I think you might be a natural at this.&rdquo;&nbsp; Michelle was genuinely pleased with Jani&rsquo;s performance.&nbsp; It was rare to find a tester who could keep up with the conveyor belt&rsquo;s medium setting.&nbsp; Usually Michelle had to manipulate their jaws with hydraulic actuators so they could manage the speed.<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani beamed from ear to ear, a smile so pure even Michelle couldn&rsquo;t resist its simple charm.&nbsp; &ldquo; You are really thinking so,&rdquo; exclaimed the brown furred muntjac.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t usually say things I don&rsquo;t mean my dear,&rdquo; said Michelle with a smirk.&nbsp; &ldquo; Now how were those samples, did you notice any variation in the taste?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani smacked her lips, the flavor of roasted chicken still fresh on her tongue.&nbsp; &ldquo; It tasted sameness to me, always very yummy.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle nodded and began scribbling notes onto her clipboard, giving Jani a few moments to recover from testing.&nbsp; She felt pleasantly full, but the synthesized food sat like a brick in her stomach, making Jani feel heavy and sluggish.&nbsp; She ran a paw across her abdomen and felt a slight curve in her once flat belly.&nbsp; She didn&rsquo;t have much time to think about this new development though.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; All right,&rdquo; chirped Michelle enthusiastically.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Next we have steak and potatoes!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The conveyor rolled to life once more, and Jani braced herself for the next round of tests.&nbsp; The steak and potatoes were also delicious, so were the hotdogs and beans that followed it, and the fettuccine alfredo.&nbsp; Each new disc weighed her down, forcing Jani&rsquo;s toned rear deeper into the cushions.&nbsp; She was feeling uncomfortably full by the time they reached the lasagna.&nbsp; The deer&rsquo;s breathing had grown shallow, her eyes half lidded.&nbsp; She still ate with a look of determination, her jaws moving a bit slower, still managing to keep up with the flow of condensed meals but beginning to ache.&nbsp; Something started to press into Jani&rsquo;s lap, but the doe couldn&rsquo;t look down, not until she finished.<br /><br />&nbsp; When the belt finally stopped again Jani&rsquo;s cheeks were bulging.&nbsp; Her jaws struggled to break down the wad of lasagna flavored discs that filled her mouth.&nbsp; Her head bobbed up and back like a baby bird, forcing barely chewed chunks down her gullet with the pure momentum of the movement.&nbsp; Each thick swallow slid slowly down her throat, and added to the stomach ache that Jani had tried so hard to hide from Michelle.&nbsp; She slumped forward once her mouth was clear, gasping for air.&nbsp;<br /><br />That&rsquo;s when Jani discovered what had been pressing so firmly into her thighs. The yellow material of her dress tented outwards as if a basketball had been shoved under her skirt, but the doe&rsquo;s hesitant paws found only the firm surface of her engorged abdomen beneath the cloth.&nbsp; Just the pressure of her paw tips sent sharp bolts of pain through the engorged orb, forcing her slender paws to retreat.&nbsp; She looked up at Michelle<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;I am not --- feelings so good,&rdquo; she moaned, her head slumping back into the cushioned chair.&nbsp; She released a wet, sharp belch and held the sides of the solid bulge pressing into her lap.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;Jani&rsquo;s tongue slid over her dried lips like sand paper on wood.&nbsp; Her mouth had suddenly gone bone dry.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh, did not think-urp-tummy could get so big,&rdquo; she said with a whimper, her face flinching as another spasm of pain rolled through her overloaded gut.&nbsp; &ldquo; Is not happy with me I think.&rdquo;<br /><br />Michelle glanced up from her clipboard, eyed Jani for a moment, and then returned to her notes.&nbsp; &ldquo;Yes, yes, that&rsquo;s to be expected.&nbsp; I&rsquo;ll get you some pain killers momentarily, but first, how was that lasagna?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Just hearing the word lasagna made Jani&rsquo;s stomach churn.&nbsp; It had been just as good as the others, but her body seemed to be rejecting food at this point.&nbsp; &ldquo;&rdquo; Was &ndash; very good &ndash; flavor was always same &ndash; but is making me very thirsty,&rdquo; she croaked out hoarsely.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Hmm, probably too much sodium,&rdquo; Michelle mumbled into her clip board.&nbsp; &ldquo;Computer, activate water fountain.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; A beep rang out in reply, and with a hiss of pressurized air a pedestal rose beside Jani&rsquo;s chair.&nbsp; The sickly doe rolled her head to examine it, and was relieved to find a faucet sticking from its flat top, with a full pitcher and water glass by its side.&nbsp; Jani lunged for the pitcher with a speed that surprised Michelle.&nbsp; The poor deer&rsquo;s gut gurgled angrily, unhappy with the movement it was forced to endure as Jani Leaned onto her side, forcing her ball gut to press painfully into the armrest.&nbsp; She didn&rsquo;t care though, only quenching her thirst mattered at the moment.&nbsp; Water dribbled from the corners of her mouth, dripping down onto her dress and seeping into her fur.&nbsp; She made short work of the pitcher, but the thirst still persisted.&nbsp; With shaky hands she refiled the pitcher, and resumed her desperate chugging.&nbsp; Each gulp made her insides twist into knots, her stomach was running out of room.&nbsp; The yellow dress had reached the limits of its elasticity, and now imprisoned her ballooning belly.&nbsp; The fabric creaked and crackled, but these sounds were drowned out by the high pitched, liquid squeals of her tortured stomach.&nbsp; Her belly button itched as the small hole was forced closer and closer towards the surface.&nbsp; It was losing its circular shape.&nbsp; Flattening into a tender, shallow tear drop that could be easily seen through the tightening cloth.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle just watched the spectacle play out in front of her. The albino rat was loving every moment of it, her eyes glued to the swelling orb as it began to break free.&nbsp; Threads popped all along the sides of her dress, revealing widening diamonds of brown.&nbsp; Half way through her third pitcher the seams finally failed.&nbsp; With a crack the whole front snapped apart like a rubber band, the tension it had been under propelling the cloth upwards to flop back onto the deer&rsquo;s meager breasts.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; With this newfound freedom Jani&rsquo;s gut surged forwards, pressing harder into the recliners side and pushing her backwards until she lay wedged between both armrests.&nbsp; She still feebly reached for the faucet, but the distance was too great now.&nbsp; She quickly gave up, her energy far too low.&nbsp; She groaned, letting the empty pitcher fall from her grasp, and rested her hands gently on the surface of her bulbous belly.&nbsp; Her hide was hot to the touch, and as firm as a watermelon.&nbsp; She lay there, legs curled up to press into the tender, thinly furred underside of the bulbous mass that pinned her in place, and whimpered.<br /><br />&nbsp; It took a moment for Michelle to snap out of her haze.&nbsp; She realized her inner thighs had been rubbing together, her nether lips dripping with sexual desire.&nbsp; The little deer was putting on quite a show, and it was pushing all of Michelle&rsquo;s buttons.<br /><br />&nbsp; She shook her head, and put down her clipboard.&nbsp; &ldquo;Ahem, well I think we should take a break before starting the next testing phase,&rdquo; she said.&nbsp; Trying not to appear eager Michelle approached Jani and kneeled before her belly.&nbsp; With practiced movements she pressed her palms into Jani&rsquo;s swollen sides, searching out pockets of air and forcing them upwards with a deeper press of her hand.&nbsp; Jani squirmed, letting lose short, pained barks in between belches, but Michelle could tell that even once the deer was thoroughly burped she still wouldn&rsquo;t be able to hold much more.&nbsp; Not without some help anyhow.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Michelle&rsquo;s mind wandered to the other project she had been working on, and removed an injector from her pocket.&nbsp; Inside it sat a vial of Nano machines, microscopic robots programed for one specific purpose.&nbsp; It was untested however, a complete unknown.&nbsp; If it worked Jani&rsquo;s body could repair itself, never rupturing, always expanding, but if it failed ---------.&nbsp; Did she really want to watch this eager to please dear eat that badly?<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; All right Jani, I&rsquo;m going to give you something to help with the pain.&nbsp; You might feel a slight pinch -----.&rdquo;&nbsp; The rat pressed the injector into one of the numerous blue veins that had been forced to the surface by her overloaded stomach, and pressed down on the triger.&nbsp; Jani was in so much pain she didn&rsquo;t even notice the sharp pinch of the needle.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Michelle returned the injector to her lab coat pocket and pressed an ear to the surface of Jani&rsquo;s gut.&nbsp; Just below her skin it sounded like a boiling cauldron, clear signs of the violent turmoil within.&nbsp; The albino rat loved those sweet, high pitched tones.&nbsp; They were music to her ears, but as she listened a new sound began to build.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; The deep, pulsating ache emanating from the core of the doe&rsquo;s belly felt like it was going to split her apart, and even worse than that, it prevented Jani from helping her friend.&nbsp; How could she let Michelle down like this?&nbsp; The little deer moaned, her eyes shut tight, and sucked air through clenched teeth.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Michelle I &ndash; I am so sorry &ndash;gasp but &ndash; glooorglubglub!&rdquo;&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani&rsquo;s apology was cut short by the bubbling roar.&nbsp; She opened her eyes, and watched the surface of her stomach pulsate with inner movement.&nbsp; Her pain began to disappear, replaced by a tingling sensation that spread through her abdomen, and onwards to her extremities.&nbsp; Just as quickly as it started, the feeling left her, and the over packed bloat protruding from her waist grew still.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br />Michelle straightened up, looking pleased with herself.&nbsp; &ldquo;Hmmm, sorry for what?&rdquo;<br /><br />Jani flopped onto her back, her belly following the sluggish, fumbling movement after a few seconds delay.&nbsp; It shifted as one solid mass, rolling across her thigh and down into the space between her wide spread legs, where it teetered to a stop.&nbsp; From her slumped position all Jani could see was her mountainous gut.&nbsp; &ldquo; The pain, is all gone --- but how?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Just a mild sedative to settle your muscles,&rdquo; said Michelle in what she hoped was a convincing tone.<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani poked and prodded her belly, barely denting the pressurized surface.&nbsp; &ldquo; So &ndash; so is this meaning I am not needing to stop testing?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle patted the top of her gut, creating the same deep sound a volley ball made when it hits the ground.&nbsp; &ldquo;Stop testing?&rdquo;&nbsp; Why Jani, we&rsquo;re just getting started!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani wiggled her but, trying to sit up, but mostly succeeded in shifting her gut from side to side.&nbsp; The doe&rsquo;s mouth curled into an eager grin, her brows lowering with determination.&nbsp; &ldquo;Yes!&nbsp; Let us continue the science,&rdquo; she cheered, pumping her arms into the air.&nbsp; Michelle had to stifle a smirk, and the fact that the dimwitted doe had managed to drag such a response out of her was quite the surprise.&nbsp; Maybe her annoying neighbor wasn&rsquo;t so bad after all.&nbsp; She was one of the most willing test subject&rsquo;s Michelle had ever come across, even if she was like claws on a chalkboard personified.&nbsp; Perhaps once she&rsquo;s an unmovable ball I can keep her around like a pet, Michelle thought.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;I do so love your enthusiasm, Jani!&nbsp; Testers such as yourself are rare these days, you could go far in this field.&rdquo;&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani beamed with pride, wrapping her arms around the medicine ball that jutted from her waist, paw tips barely touching the thin crater that had once been her navel.&nbsp; &ldquo;I am just wanting to be bestest science helper for my new friend.&nbsp; Is what friends do.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Well friend, you&rsquo;ve been a tremendous help so far, and I think you&rsquo;re ready for the next test,&rdquo; she said enthusiastically.&nbsp; &ldquo;Computer, lower the feeding tube please.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The same beep as before rang out through the room, followed by the whir of gears. Looking up at the source of the noise Jani was surprised to see a clear plastic mask descending towards her face.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo; To go along with my condensed meal tablets I created a vitamin shake in several different flavors, just slip on that mask and we&rsquo;ll get started.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; It resembled a scuba mask, with a similar mouthpiece, and she pulled it towards her to slip the elastic head band over her silky hair.&nbsp; Her teeth bit into the rubber mouthpiece like a bridle, the mask fitting snuggly around her muzzle.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani wasn&rsquo;t even done tightening the straps when a steady flow of liquid flooded her mouth.&nbsp; It was thick, creamy, just like a vanilla milk shake.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani gulped it down like she hadn&rsquo;t eaten in days, her eyes focused on the rounded hill that blocked her view.&nbsp; At first all she could feel was the increasing pressure, followed by an itchy feeling that began to spread from the deer&rsquo;s bulging flanks.&nbsp; Her skin was beginning to split, forcing itself to continue conforming to the overloaded organs within, and her finger tips sought out the itchy fissures to try and sooth them.&nbsp; Soon her arms began to widen, paw tips losing ground to her expanding girth.&nbsp; A liquid groan of defeat rumbled from the core of her stomach, and Jani watched her belly begin to rise like bread dough.<br /><br />&nbsp; The pace was slow but steady, and Michelle could no longer resist the temptation to worship the growing monolith.&nbsp; Moving to the front of Jani&rsquo;s chair, Michelle pressed her whole body into the rising ball.&nbsp; It reached up to her breasts, and threatened to bump into her chin, but that was fine with Michelle.&nbsp; With her arms wraped around as much of her girth as she could reach the rat ground her body into the tender flesh, paws rubbing soothing circles across the hot, thinly furred surface.&nbsp; Michelle could feel the front of Jani&rsquo;s stomach pressing into her crotch as it expanded forward.&nbsp; It was hanging over the edge of the chair&rsquo;s seat cushion now, forcing Jani&rsquo;s legs as wide as the arm rests would let them.&nbsp; It was unaffected by the pull of gravity, pushing straight out into thin air, pushing Michelle backwards while also rising higher and higher until her chin rested comfortably on the rumbling surface.<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani kept sucking, waiting for Michelle to stop the flow and question her about the taste, but she never did.&nbsp; Vanilla changed to chocolate, then strawberry, mango and strawberry.&nbsp; Michelle wasn&rsquo;t interested in collecting data any more, the vitamin shakes had already been tested weeks ago.&nbsp; This was purely for pleasure now, Jani was at the mercy of Michelle&rsquo;s sexual hunger.&nbsp; &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t mind me dear, just &ndash; unf &ndash; running a few elasticity tests,&rdquo; she grunted out.&nbsp; Jani just nodded her head, shaking the tube that hung from the ceiling.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Her belly was beginning to ache again as the pressure within her reached all new levels.&nbsp; The pain grew until it was sharp, piercing deep into the core of her quad sized bulge.&nbsp; Then she felt it, her stomach began to tingle again, washing the pain away.&nbsp; It shuddered farther out, extending far enough now to tip Jani forward.&nbsp; She could feel her butt beginning to lift from the seat cushion.&nbsp; The view beyond the wall of her belly improved slightly, and Jani could finally see Michelle.&nbsp; The rat looked so happy, her eyes closed, whiskers twitching at the corners of a peaceful smile.&nbsp; Seeing her new friend so happy drove the little doe to swallow even harder, and with a shuddering gag that convulsed through her throat she relaxed her muscles, and just let the heavy liquid rush past uninterrupted.&nbsp; The sudden increase finally forced Jani&rsquo;s flattened navel to thrust outwards, the skin thin and crinkled.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; The tingling was constant now, and so was the pain.&nbsp; Deep within Jani the Nano machines fought to repair her stomach lining.&nbsp; Dozens of ruptures had been repaired already, but they were starting to become overwhelmed.&nbsp; Michelle could feel the doe&rsquo;s belly pressing into her knees now, and the aroused rat was forced to step back and end the tender bear hug.&nbsp; Without her body to keep Jani seated her torpedo shaped monstrosity of a stomach tilted forward, thumping into the ground and raising the doe high in the air like a child on the end of a see-saw.&nbsp; The sudden impact angered the sensitive beast, and it vibrated with a deep bubbling growl.&nbsp; Her flesh was almost transparent, displaying each and every vein that struggled to pump blood to the far flung corners of her globe.&nbsp; Her grapefruit sized belly button pressed hard into the wood floor and bulged oddly to the side.&nbsp; It looked ripe and purple, the flesh around it a deep red that radiated outwards from the center like a ruby flower.&nbsp; Slowly fading into pink and tan where her fur and flesh was less mangled.&nbsp; The stretchmarks were deep fissures now, fault lines that quivered with instability.<br /><br />&nbsp; Looking at Jani squirming with discomfort atop her deformed abdomen, Michelle began to realize she had gotten carried away again. This happened from time to time, and it usually didn&rsquo;t end well for her test subjects, but it had been eight weeks since her last workplace abdominal failure, and she was confident the Nano machines would keep Jani together.<br /><br />&nbsp; The doe&rsquo;s face was beat red, her cheeks and neck swollen, eyes watering.&nbsp; Deep within her something was beginning to give.&nbsp; The tingling was unbearable now, she couldn&rsquo;t tell where it ended and the pain began.&nbsp; Her stomach was ripping everywhere, there was nothing more the overworked Nano machines could do.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Well that&rsquo;s enough for today,&rdquo; Michelle said with a flustered squeak, running her hands through her golden hair.&nbsp; She started to walk towards the control panel, but it was too late for that.&nbsp; The machines couldn&rsquo;t keep up with the damage any longer, and with a rubbery squeal the dark red fault lines that arched across the bulbous surface split like a wet paper bag.<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle stopped mid walk and balled her fists when the rumbling splash filled the room. It was followed by a heavy thud and a torrent of multi - colored goo that rushed past her foot-paws.&nbsp; The rat&rsquo;s heart skipped a beat, she knew what that meant.&nbsp; Despite herself the rat shuddered with orgasmic release and tried to compose herself.&nbsp; &ldquo;Sigh, well I wasn&rsquo;t planning on popping you, but I&rsquo;m not gonna lie -sigh- splitting you apart felt real good.&rdquo;&nbsp; Not bothering to turn around, the lab coat clad rat sauntered towards the door like a new woman.&nbsp; The vast weight of her annoying neighbor lifted from Michelle&rsquo;s shoulders at long last.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh well, she was fun while she lasted.&nbsp; Computer,&rdquo; Michelle called out.&nbsp; &ldquo; There appears to be a bug in the nano-machine&rsquo;s coding, find it and rectify.&nbsp; Notify sanitation there&rsquo;s a mess in testing room six as well.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The computer acknowledged her commands with the same beep it always used, and without looking back Michelle quickly left the room to clean herself up.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Jani&rsquo;s body was hidden by the plush leather chair, which had been knocked over by the force of her stomach&rsquo;s detonation.&nbsp; Only one limp, lifeless arm could be seen draped over one of the legs.&nbsp; It was small and delicate, covered in bits of chewed food and blood, and it was beginning to twitch.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; The blood and gore that covered the floor and walls was moving, slithering towards the chair as if it was being sucked up by a straw.&nbsp; The mass of red pooled around the hidden deer, shrinking rapidly from view until not a single trace remained.&nbsp; Only half digested meal tablets and pools of vitamin shake met the eyes of the cleaning crew when they entered the room.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Jeez Frank, we should have brought the whole cleaning cart with us,&rdquo; grumbled a young male rat who bore a striking resemblance to Michelle.&nbsp; He was rather short and heavy set, his thick frame clad in a white jumpsuit.&nbsp; &ldquo;Yeah, I&rsquo;ll go grab it.&nbsp; Just get the body wrapped up while I&rsquo;m gone alright Ted, I don&rsquo;t want to be stuck here all day cleaning up ma&rsquo;s latest mistake.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Frank turned his tall, lanky body towards the door and disappeared around the corner, leaving Ted to his gruesome task.&nbsp; He rolled out the bag onto a clean section of floor and unzipped the front.&nbsp; &ldquo;Sigh, knew we were overdue for another one of these,&rdquo; he muttered to himself.&nbsp; &ldquo; All right, let&rsquo;s get this over with.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The stocky rat approached the overturned chair and bent over.&nbsp; She looked peaceful, her eyes closed.&nbsp; If Ted didn&rsquo;t know any better he would have thought she was just sleeping.&nbsp; He gripped her hand tightly in his own, and her eyes fluttered open.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Ahhhhh, get it offa me, get it offa me,&rdquo; he cried, trying to shake Jani&rsquo;s powerful grip.&nbsp; &ldquo;Hello,&rdquo; said Jani with a sleepy yet pleasant voice.&nbsp; &ldquo; My name is Jani, nice to be meeting you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Ted dragged the small deer from behind the chair in his flailing attempts to free his hand.&nbsp; Jani looked around in a daze, only half aware of the terrified rat she clung to.&nbsp; &ldquo;Help, heeeelp me! It&rsquo;s a zombie!&nbsp; Mom created another fucking zombie, can you believe this shit!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani finally released her grip, sending Ted crashing backwards into the wall.&nbsp; Still screaming obscenities at the top of his lungs the terrified rat raced for the door, almost knocking over Michelle on his way out.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Ted!&nbsp; What the hell is going on!&nbsp; Can&rsquo;t I have some peace and qui ------- JANI!&rdquo;<br /><br />Michelle stood there in the doorway, her tail stiff with shock, and stared in disbelief at the undamaged doe laying amongst a sea of half digested slop.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo; What ----- happened,&rdquo; Jani asked weakly.&nbsp; &ldquo; Can&rsquo;t remember.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Michelle grimaced, rubbing the bridge of her muzzle with wo claw tipped fingers.&nbsp; She could feel a migraine coming on.<br /><br />&ldquo;You just &ndash; ah &ndash; blacked out, too much to eat, that&rsquo;s all,&rdquo; she lied.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani gazed down at her abdomen, confused to see it flat and toned once again.&nbsp; &ldquo; But where did tummy go,&rdquo; she asked with a much stronger voice, looking up at Michelle with wide, curious eyes.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh, well you threw up when you passed out, see -----,&rdquo; said Michelle, sweeping her paw across the food splattered room.&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani shot up, a look of shock on her face.&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh no!&nbsp; I&rsquo;m so sorry to be making mess.&nbsp; Please forgive me.&rdquo;&nbsp; The little deer didn&rsquo;t seem to realize she was naked and covered in muck.&nbsp; She went about scooping up the ooze that coated the floor, looking around for a trash can. &ldquo;I will gettings the mop and be making clean with very much quickness, you will be seeing.&rdquo;&nbsp;<br /><br />&nbsp;&ldquo;She just shot right up, ma,&rdquo; Ted exclaimed.&nbsp; Almost stumbling over his words to get them out.&nbsp; &ldquo; It was crazy!&nbsp; She gripped my hand like a vise and ---.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Yeah, ok, alright Ted!&nbsp; It&rsquo;s alright, &ldquo;grumbled the angry rat, trying to be as motherly as she could.&nbsp; &ldquo; The nanomachines just had a delayed reaction, that&rsquo;s all.&nbsp; They must not be able to repair sustained damage to the body.&rdquo;&nbsp; Her tone softened as she spoke and ended with a pat on the shoulder.&nbsp; &ldquo; Now get this cleaned up while I deal with my headache.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle approached the naked, food smeared deer where she knelt on the floor, surrounded by little sandcastles of sludge.&nbsp; Michelle regarded her with cold eyes, her mind turning, hands clasped behind her back.&nbsp; This was an interesting development, something worthy of further study.&nbsp; Perhaps this headache of hers could have its uses after all.&nbsp; There was much data to be collected.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The lab rat knelt down in front of Jani, looking into her wide, innocent eyes. &ldquo; That&rsquo;s alright Jani, the janitors can take it from here.&rdquo;&nbsp; She stood up, reaching out a hand to the doe.&nbsp; Come on, let&rsquo;s get you into a shower and a new set of clothes.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Jani looked at the offered hand for a minute, studying it thoughtfully, and then grasped it with both hands, pumping her arms up and down in the most violent attempt at a handshake Michelle had ever seen.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Oh thanking yous so much Michelle, you are so niceness with the hospitalities and I am hoping to have been help to you with the researches.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle yanked Jani up onto her feet, almost losing her balance in the process, and ripped her hand from the doe&rsquo;s vice-like grip.&nbsp; &ldquo;Jeez-uh-yes, yes.&nbsp; You&rsquo;ve been a huge help.&nbsp; In fact, Jani, how would you like to be my new lead tester?&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; The little deer gasped so deeply Michelle thought it was the beginning of a heart attack, but she was soon screeching like an excited school girl.&nbsp; Jani bounced on her dainty hooves and clasped her hands together, furiously nodding her head.&nbsp; &ldquo;Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!&nbsp; I am accepting, I accepting!&nbsp; What great honor for me.&nbsp; Thanking yous so much, my bestest friend!&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; Michelle tried to lead her naked neighbor towards the door while Tom, still shaken up by this sudden resurrection, got to work with his mop.<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Friend, right.&nbsp; Jani, have you ever signed a legally binding contract before?&rdquo;<br /><br />Jani tapped her chin and thought about that.&nbsp; &ldquo;Ummm, no.&nbsp; Jani has never been needings the contract lenses.&rdquo;<br /><br />&nbsp; &ldquo;Michelle just nodded her head and smiled.&nbsp; Good, she was going to have fun with this new toy of hers.&nbsp; Well, as much fun as she could have with someone as annoying as Jani.</span>",
