day he setup a few beartraps in the woods to trap and kill a wild bear that took refuge in his woods. After priming the last trap he readied his rifle and started his walk down his normal trail. Everything seemed normal, as the woods crawled to a restless quiet--thats until he heard it. \n\nA large roar echoed through the woods, and it was close!\n\"It sounds close; and way too big..\", Kei said, brandishing his weapon.\nHowever, the fox was too slow, as the beast charged at him, throwing Kei into a state of fear. He took one step back out of reflex and heard a metal clang, followed by the snapping of his tibia. \n\nKei barely had enough time to scream in pain before the bear raised its claws and swung at him. The claws tore through his flesh and bone, ripped his left arm to shreds and taking parts of his torso. In a last-ditch effort Kei readied his weapon in his remaining hand, and shot the beast clean in the skull before it could swipe again. \n\nThe rest of that day is a blur, but he remembers sluggishly draping himself over Jei before passing out on the felines back.
