"description": "Finally at my favorite planet in the solar system! 'v' \n\nMars is a fascinating planet. It's an earthlike planet but on the smaller scale. The tempreture on mars is pretty darn cold, the hottest being a fine 70 degrees F in more temperate places, but it gets as cold as -225 F (20 C and -153 C respectively). \n\nThe atmosphere is also really thin so it isn't exactly a breathable place. On top of that there isn't much of a magnetic field so...yeah radiation up the ass right there. \n\nDespite these however I consider Mars one of the best planets around, being our closest neighbor and the similarities it has and also the fact some guy with a telescope looked at it and saw what he thought were canals; Mars has constantly been the subject of weather or not there is life on it, even now humanity STILL keeps looking around for it on the red rusty rock. \n\nMany science fiction media often take place on mars weather people go there to live on it, or if it's a place where you find life already present (and usually they're not fans of visitors.) Tragically it's also thought to be a place where there WAS once life on it, but has sense died out thanks to high radiation and thin atmosphere around it. Regardless Mars has earned this awesome aspect about it. \n\nMars has also been significant culturally as well; representing things like war because of it's red color reminding the ancient folks on Earth of the blood red color, hell the planet's named after the Roman version of Aeries, the God of War. Mars also has 2 moons: Phobos and Deimos. Geographically speaking, the 4th planet from the sun also has one of the largest volcanoes in the solar system; Olympus Mons as as tall at 16 miles. tall quite sizeable don't you think? l3 \n\nThe weather is nuts on mars specifically its dust storms. These wild 'sand blizzard' get so bad sometimes the entire planet gets covered in dust for WEEKS; not great if you have allergies as bad as I do, and the dust devils are so crazy you'd think they'd be tornadoes, try jumping through those and see what happens >: 3 \n\nANYWAY apologies for the long ass walls of text. \n\nTLDR; I fucking love mars and despite the rambling I don't think I covered outright everything on how frigen awesome this planet is I fell in love with it simply cause it was my favorite color, but that love grew every time I learned something about it. \n\nSo forgive me that I've gone all out with this more so than the others so far :> \n\nUP NEXT the biggest planet in the solar system: JUPITER >83 \n\nPixies © to @@jeffron",
