All in all it was a decent spring afternoon. It was a Friday, and many of the teens were anxious to spend their weekend on dates or hanging out with friends. Tom Richards walked slowly down the halls, taking his time after classes ended to collect his thoughts and plan his days off. His mother wasn't overly strict with him, trusting the eighteen year old to take care of himself before she got home from work. Being a single mother she often worked late into the evening, but was fortunate enough to find a job with long weekends to spend with her beloved son and the rest of her family she had saved from a trailer park. \n\nHe was a tall, handsome hybrid with a rugged look to him. Dark tiger stripes covered his chocolate brown coat, while his grandmother's racoon mask stretched around his blue eyes, toning down the glare of the sun when he was outside. The rest of the features and proportions of his body where distinctly wolf like, traits passed down from both his parents lupine half's. In many ways that was lucky for him as hybrids of more than three species were infertile. \n\nAs he walked, he wondered what he would do for the rest of the day. 'Video games are an option, and then there's that let's play I was meaning to watch...' He thought to himself. However as he left the main building, his thoughts were interrupted by harsh tones coming from another student. Tom turned the corner and saw a wolf girl, almost as tall as he was with a mildly athletic build. Perky A cup breasts filled out the top of her school uniform, her neck and wrists were covered with collar and bracelets. The dark leather stood out on the bright pink and crimson fur that covered her body, while two wing like markings covered her eyes. She currently held a scowl directed towards some other wolf boy, bearing her sharp, slightly yellowed teeth. \"Gimme the pack of cigs you owe me, you duck fucking shit tickler!\" in spite of the serious tone, the wording was ridiculous, and Tom couldn't help but break out into a hearty laugh. Upon hearing him, the pink wolf girl turned her scowl in Tom's direction. \n\nTom knew she probably thought he was making fun of her, and decided to be honest with her, as it was probably the best way to avoid a fight. \"Sorry, that was a sweet burn! Very clever.\" The pink wolf's eyes went wide as the anger melted off her face. \"Uhh, thanks.\" She looked Tom up and down, clearly impressed by the looks of the young man who interrupted. \"But, uh... give me a sec,\" Before returning her attention to the other wolf, taking a moment to glance back at Tom before speaking again. \"Look ass clown, I can't get those damn things cheap and I'm jonesing like hell, so you better find me some decent smokes before you find a hundred pounds of pig shit in your locker tomorrow!\" The other wolf nodded and started running off, clearly taking her threat seriously. \n\nIn spite of her demeanor Tom snickered again, causing her to look at him once more. \"Sorry again, I'm just not used to hearing insults that are so... Colorful.\" At first Tom was trying to avoid getting pulled into a fight, but he liked girls with a fire to them, and with her 'knows what she wants' attitude and cleaver-but-fowl mouth, he decided to risk an introduction.
