The two had been rivals for a long time now, often facing each other in even battles, always trying to defeat the other for good. They fought to protect others, or to expand their region, and at times just to try the other - there really wasn't a time the two saw but didn't duke it out.\n\n\tThey hadn't grown so strong and muscular just from fighting each other, though the need to defeat the other was definitely the heaviest motivation for both. Since the two had been rivals for so long they had both aged and been at a verge of digivolving, at a point where a Digimon changes their form to the next, to a higher step of that hierarchy. Neither knew the other was also about to digivolve and with them having a weird sense of respect towards their shared rivalry, they had both held back their digivolutions. I wanted to try writing a lil bit to go with the pic and yeah hey, hope that was good enough.
