"description": "Another first-time character concept of a Demordicai Diamonds comic character. \n\nMelvin is the polar opposite of Jack and one of the four male children of Aspen Village. His hobbies include: Chasing butterlies, catching frogs, climbing trees (but not too high), playing pretend, and cuddling. He loves hugs, especially from his mommy. He is about eight years old and is the youngest of the four male children.\n\nOf the four boys, Melvin is the most cowardly but the most caring and thoughtful out of all of them. He is raised almost solely by his mother while his father is out at sea making a living off the ocean's bounty and sending his pay back home. Melvin lives a very coddled life and is an only child. His mother cares deeply for him and babies him maybe a little too much for his own good.\n\nMelvin is considered more as a tag-along than an actual member of the group of boys. He often gets bullied by Jack because of his gentle nature and other less-than-manly tendencies. Because of his association with the group, Melvin gets talked into doing naughty pranks and gets into trouble and then feels bad about it and tattletales on the group.\n\nMelvin is generally very obedient and does what he's told and loves receiving praise about what a good boy he is. He's scared of girls but harbors no ill will toward them. He confides a lot of his secrets and feelings in his stuffed animals and likes to cuddle with them but knows better not to do that in public lest he get bullied and teased about it.\n",
