Uncertain Love – By J.D.Taylor The storms continued to batter the Pridelands. Torrential downpours hydrated the dry land beyond. Bright flashes of lightning cracked through the dark, sending shivers through the spines of animal across the Pridelands. Kopa and Kuwinda entered a secretive cave, escaping the downpour that bombarded the land. They shook their fur as they entered, barely drying their fur as they strolled in. After a quick, loving nuzzle, the two felines chuckled nervously before strolling to separate sides of the cave. Smiling at each other as they said down. Their feelings were just blossoming. As they fell softly asleep. Kuwinda wiggled around uncontrollably. She shot awake, incredibly warm and panting rapidly. A powerful, warm, fuzzy feeling had grown inside her stomach, spreading further down to her pelvis, all the way to the ball of fur at the end of her tail. She knew this feeling instantly and her ears dropped to the side of her head. The unbearable heat, a strong, passionate feeling pulsing through her heart, into her bloodstream. The rich, lustful aroma pumping out of her body. The sheer powerful sensation she had faced for days now, ever since she had met Kopa once again. She was in heat. The young lioness shrunk back into a corner of the cave, her long, slender tail shooting between her legs. As she did, she started to hear the rough, deep snores of a male lion, Kopa. His presence, even on the opposite side of the cave, sent shivers down her spine even more. What if he woke up? Would he sense she was in heat? What would he do? She had heard many things from the other lionesses in the pride. How male lions don’t stay around. How they simply mate and then leave their mate to it. She also heard about how they treated their mates, attacking and forcing them to mate for days on end, hoping to spread their legacies across the savannah. As she stood there, mere meters away from a male lion whilst in heat, Kuwinda thought of this. Her body trembling in fear and instability caused by her oestrus. She couldn’t help but look at the sleeping lion before her. The magnificent, majestic lump of muscle and fur tucked away in the other side of the cave, snoring his mane-coated head off like a gentle fluffy cub. She thought about all the rumours, all the beliefs about male lions. How could he ever be like that? Without thinking, she slowly arose to her paws, walking slowly towards the sleeping lion. Her tail still laid in between her legs, making her body tingle all over. With each breath, she tasted his strong, near choking, musky scent rattled across the top of her throat, shooting to her brain. His dark brown mane slightly fluttered in a sharp draft, shuddering through the exit of the cave into the ravaged, thunderous Pridelands beyond. As she approached him, she noticed the numerous scars etched into his flesh, all varying in size and depth. How many fights had he been in? She analysed every inch of his body with intrigue, freezing especially when his pelvis came into view. Nestled softly between his legs rested three lumps of fur and flesh, nestled underneath. The two larger lumps, round and ripe, nestled on the outside, slightly dangling to the ground. The orbs of life itself. Kuwinda stared at them, her body trembling with anticipation. The roasting, boiling feeling in her pelvis sparked as she stared at them. A wet, moist feeling flushing through her body at the same time. Nestled in between these, a third, smaller lump rested. Its exterior was coated in fur, with a slight opening at its tip. A pinkish, fleshy rod resting deep within. Kuwinda had heard many things, about how powerful such a rod could be. But to see one in the flesh. It seemed normal, unimpressive. Why was every lioness in the Pridelands fighting for this? As the young lioness was lost in thought, Kopa slowly awoke. Kuwinda jumped, terrified of being caught eyeing the lion, she leapt into the corner of the cave, far away from him. She laid down, eyes closed, hoping he wouldn’t detect her scent. Kopa awoke, his paws stretched out in front of him. In his peripheral vision, he saw a flash of shadow cross to the other side of the cave. Slowly waking up, a strong, sweet scent rattled across his muzzle. A lioness, in heat. Tracking its source, his nose turned to the other side of the cave where he had seen the shadow shoot towards a few seconds earlier. There, he noticed the still, seemingly sleeping lioness he had spent most of the day with. Kuwinda. He shot back, his mind losing itself in the scent. Instinct had started to ick in. Here, lying in the same cave as him, was a young, strong, beautiful lioness in heat. How could he resist such an opportunity? He stared at her, a warm, uncontrollably feeling brewing in his chest and pelvis. Eager to see more. He slowly walked forwards. In time, he found himself mere meters away from the ‘sleeping’ lioness. He examined her body. Every muscle pumped with power. He thought about the creatures that could potentially meet their end at her paws. Zebra, Wildebeests, Giraffes. Him. As he approached her rear, he noticed her tail had flopped down, revealing the source of her scent. A soft, small hole resting beneath a larger orifice. Her scent grew incredibly potent as he approached. His nose mere inches away from her entrance. Kuwinda, eyes still cemented together in fear, felt the young lion’s breath, pouring hot, steamy air across the surface of her opening. She felt a pooling, moist feeling in her pelvis grow, seemingly flowing down towards her opening. She felt it run out of her body, caressing the lips of her entrance as it did so. Kopa noticed this. As the liquid began to flow down her rear, her aroma grew to unprecedented levels, practically choking the young lion. He knew just what it was, and how to make it all worthwhile. With one, passionate, uncontrolled lick, he stopped the liquid's flow. It tasted amazing, so sweet and musky. It was perfect. Kuwinda’s eyes shot open as she felt Kopa’s tongue brush against her rear. Every inch, every bump and groove of his tough tongue against her sensitive, boiling entrance’s lips. This feeling sent ripples through her body. her heartbeat skyrocketed. Was he really doing this? She remembered what the other lionesses had told her, about how male lions treated their mates. Knowing this, she arose to her paws like a flash, but what she witnessed next shocked her even more. In the blink of an eye, Kopa had lept back, sprinting to the other side of the cave. His tail shot between his leg, hiding the powerful, precious jewels she had examined earlier. He flopped down in the cave’s corner facing away from her. His large, muscular body curved around, hiding his face from her view. This behaviour stunned the young lioness. True, he had taken interest in her, but to simply run away as she realised what he was doing, to hide and cower. This wasn’t the behaviour she had been told about. A soul-crushing feeling freezing feeling spread over her body. As she slowly approached him, she heard what sounded like murmurs, cries even. As she loomed over the lion, she realised the truth behind Kopa’s unique posture of life. The young lion, tearful and torn, turned around, seeing the lioness approach him. He wiped the stream of tears from his face. “Kopa?” Kuwinda slowly asked, their eyes locked. His breathing intensified as hers slowed. She had never seen him like this, so scared, so emotional. All she could do is stand there, looking down at him. Kopa eventually regained control of himself, his voice still rumbly, however. “I'm so sorry! I didn’t-“ “It’s ok.” Kuwinda lowered her head, brushing it against Kopa’s soft, messy mane. A tingle shuddered through her body, channelling down her spine like a bolt of lightning. Without thinking, she gave him a comforting, loving lick across his face. He stared up at her, still watery in the corner of his eyes. “You are so beautiful.” He whispered, causing Kuwinda to start to blush. He turned his sight away from her, a wave of doubt, regret rushing across his face as he turned towards the cave’s exit. The downpour battering the land outside. “I couldn’t-“ His words were silenced by another wave of snuggles from Kuwinda. Her scent had only grown once more as she snuggled up to him. She looked down at him as he brushed against her. “I know what you think, about yourself.” His eyes closed as he spoke. “But I know that you are an incredible lioness.” He thought deeply. He had lost so much, seen so much. His sudden shock of fear came from his loyalty to his mate, Karimu. Sure, she may be dead, but what would she think? He had tasted the scent of another lioness. He had been unloyal. Part of his mind was broken, dying in embarrassment and regret as he laid down. “Any lion would be glad to have you by his side.” Kopa’s words shocked Kuwinda. How could he think that? He was arguably the greatest lion of recent ties. The most powerful, the most handsome. He was a legend! And now, nestled next to her. He was ripping that legend apart, breaking up under her paw. Deep down, he wasn’t the strong, fearless, unstoppable lion everyone knew he had feelings, emotions, fears. He was like every male lion but in a good way. He had instincts, sure. Many of them that they used rested deep in him but he had control, a balance. He cared about his mate only wanted to make her safe, secure. Kuwinda froze for a moment. The boiling heat inside of her tingled through her mind. He had tasted her scent. Could he really like her? She looked into hi yes once more, giving him a more flirtatious look. Kopa picked up on this, calming down as he made a bit of space between them. Instinctively, Kuwinda rolled up next to him. “Kopa?” She purred. The lion turned to her, rather confused as to her intentions. She slowly brushed herself against him, feeling every muscle in his body. her tail rose as she did so. “Kuwinda?” The young lion looked down at the heated lioness. She was indeed beautiful. He could tell from the moment they had met, that she was special, different from all the other lionesses. Just being in her presence was an honour. “You don’t have to be afraid.” She licked through his ear, only gaining his attention further. Her next few words would change everything, however. “I wouldn’t mind.” Her mind, still fluttered by his compliment, had been made. She wanted this. She wanted Kopa no more than anything. He was perfect. She loved everything about him, but especially his loving, caring personality. He was more than just a legend. Where everyone else saw an unstoppable, fearless, majestic lion, she now saw a complicated, fearful, yet caring lion. He truly cared about her and everyone close to him. He was unique, and she wasn’t going to let him go. Kopa looked on as Kuwinda arose to her paws, only stopping as she laid down in front of him. Her tail flickered upwards, revealing her entrance once more. Kopa laid still, completely shocked. Was she really ok with this? “Are you sure?” he queried, his eyes focused further up her body to the sweet, cute face nestled ahead. She turned her head to him, giving him a confirmative, passionate smile. Despite this, he still felt a little worried. This would be Kuwinda’s first time. Does she truly understand what it would entail? “It’s going to hurt, you know?” “I don’t mind.” She turned around, snuggling up to him. Her body brushed against his chest, her scent blossoming with every second of contact. “I trust you.” As she brushed away from him, she flicked her tail into his face giving him a closer view of her entrance. Kopa instantly lost all sense of worry and doubt. He had become enticed by her once more. Pure primal instinct kicked in, and his tongue met her entrance once more. Kuwinda hummed and groaned in pleasure as she felt his tongue caress her. The clear, scent-filled liquid that rippled out of her before brewed once more, drooling out of her and onto Kopa’s awaiting tongue. After a few, precious moments, Kuwinda once more arose to her paws. Kopa stood up alongside her. smiling, Kuwinda flicked herself under her on love, slivering her head closer to his pelvis with every nudge. She saw his hanging lumps of pride, nestled deep between his leg. She wondered what they felt like. And here, right now, she would find out. Brushing her face into his pouch, her nose and mouth clogged with his scent. Strong, masculine, earthy. She loved it! Without thinking, she softly caresses his pride with her tongue, forcing the male lion to grunt and shiver in lustful joy. He had never felt such an interaction, especially on such a sensitive part of his body. Hearing the pleasant gasps from her mate, Kuwinda halted her assault. She moved away from him, laying down beside him. She looked into his eyes passionately, but also rather confused, bewildered. She didn’t really know what to do now. “What happens now?” Her ears flickered as she laid down. Kopa, still high from their short interaction, equally looked slightly nervous. He knew, just as much as she did, deep down. “I think you know.” He gave her a comforting rather flirtatious smile, before realising what he was doing. He stuttered. “But you don’t have to if you-“ “No, it’s fine.” The lioness fully rested her body on the cold, slightly damp rocky ground beneath them. The coldness on her fur and skin collided with the boiling feeling of desire inside her. She was ready to truly show her love for this incredible lion, in a way she could only do with him. Seeing her lay in such a position sent shudders through Kopa’s spine. It had been ages since he had been in a situation like this, about a year in fact. He never thought he would be like this again. But here he was. A sense of duty, pride even, rushed over him. He knew he was ready, ready to move on. Kuwinda was worth it, after all, even if nobody else could see it. He analysed her positioning, her fur-soaked body lying flat to the puddled ground, her rear nearly hidden by the cold, saturated, rocky floor. “Arch your back a bit.” He advised he slowly approached her rear. She listened to his request, arching her back and in turn, raising her rear somewhat. Now, her entrance was truly visible, in all its moist glory. Kopa now standing above the lioness, nestled his pelvis closer to hers before feeling a connection of flesh. His pride fully sprung from its sheath. Nestling above her back and neck, he started to give her constant, affectionate licks across her wet scruff, causing the lioness to stretch her neck outwards. Kuwinda felt the lion mount her. His weight, every muscle in his body, felt surprising light. She felt his rather slippery, soft member rub against her entrance as he positioned himself. Not long after, his long, passionate licks across her neck sent her into overdrive, forcing her to release a series of lustful moans. On one of these licks, he entered her. she felt his member glide into her opening, the small, flaky barbs on his surface brushing against her internal walls ending bolts of ecstasy through both felines. Kuwinda’s muscles contracted, biting down on the intruding member. Kopa wasn’t used to such force, as he froze, unsure whether to continue or not. She was so tight. The heat built up around him, so much so that he started to feel recognisable, bubbling feeling in his orbs already. Luckily, Kuwinda relaxed her muscles along with her. This gave him some rest and allowed him to slide further in until his pride was fully inside her. Slowly but surely, he began to remove himself. A wave of moans and groans came from both linos as he did so. Nearly leaving her body, he pushed back in. He continued this movement for a few minutes, darting in and out of her with building speed. From the constant sound of ecstatic groans, Kuwinda was loving it, and so was he. He had never been with such a powerful lioness. With every dive he took into her, she would push back on him sandwiching his rod further into her with every pulse. This is how they did it. In, out, in, out, in. This lasted for minutes but couldn’t last forever even if they both wished it could. The air around them steamed, only letting both lion and lioness become lost in their embrace. Both felt so much love, so much affection for each other Kopa couldn’t help but lick at Kuwinda’s neck, causing her to pant heavenly. Neither of them could believe how much they need this, needed each other. Kuwinda was the first to realise this. Without warning, her body shot into overdrive. Her claws retracted from their cushioned holding, scratching the rocky, cold ground as a wave of superheated liquid erupted inside of her. She felt it gush from deep within, spraying up to her mate’s member, soaking it with her scent. Her body tensed, rippling as she felt her insides tremble. Her body suckled on Kopa’s pride, teasing it with the sheer tightness of her athletic, powerful muscles. Kopa felt it too, its pressure nearly forcing him out of the lioness’ body. All this time, he had felt a rumble deep within him. As he felt the lioness’ scent rush out of her, he could barely hold onto reality much longer. “KUWINDA!” He roared as he couldn’t contain himself any longer. Shoving himself as far as could, the pooling feeling in his orbs erupted, pumping out a creamy, slippery substance out of his body and into hers. The cream of life. Each moment, each pulse paralysed both felines. The orgasms of each sending shockwaves through their partner’s body. As their bodies exchanged their lust-filled fluids, the pair roared in unison. Lightning crackled with every roar, hiding their screams of lust from the rest of the world. As Kopa’s pride pulsed, the small prickly barbs shot into Kuwinda’s flesh. At first, she didn’t even recognise the pain, her lust for him and his seed was too much. But as they both calmed down, the pain became visible across her muzzle. She gritted her teeth. She knew this was natural. He wasn’t trying to hurt her, nature was. Finally, their pleasurable bursts of lust ceased. Both felines exhausted. Kopa attempted to slowly and softly pull out of his mate, but his barbed pride had other ideas. It scraped across Kuwinda’s internal walls sending bolts of pain through the lioness. Kop instinctively grasped her scruff with his mouth, allowing him time to safely remove himself from her presence without her attacking her in a pain-induced attack. He let go as soon as he was out. Kuwinda still shocked by the pin she received, lunged for him, scratching his face with her paw before collapsing on the cold, cooling floor. She rolled on her back, making the pain ebb away, leaving only the warm, fuzzy feeling of their love bubbling within her. She felt the creamy mixture of their love swish and swash inside of her as she rolled mixing and concocting in unknown forms. After some time. She stopped, resting on her stomach, panting heavily. She noticed the large lump of fur laying next to her and snuggled up to him. His chest beat in rhythm with hers. Both felines exhausted from their intensive lovemaking. The land around them dried, the last of the water evaporating into the air, relaxing the two knackered felines. “That…” Kuwinda struggled to breathe, panting heavily as she brushed her head into Kopa’s mane. “that was… INCREDIBLE!” She flopped down next to her tired mate, snuggling up to him. Their scents had become entangled with each other, barely possible to distinguish one from the other. Kopa, who was also exhausted, just snuggled back up to Kuwinda his breath brushing over the back of her head. “I know!” His pants caused the lioness to raise her head, allowing him to carefully, passionately lick her forehead. “I know!” And with that, the feline duo fell asleep. Kopa rested one of his front paws across Kuwinda’s stomach, feeling the heat in her stomach die down. He felt proud of his performance, and that he had been able to mate with such a beautiful lioness. He loved her, and he would not let anything get between them, not now. He drifted off into a deep sleep, as the storms outside rumbled on, providing their own source of life back into the Pridelands. Neither lion knew, however, that life had been formed in this very cave, not just now, but in the past. Kopa was that life. Kopa remembered the day he met Kuwinda, all those years ago. He remembered their betrothal. He knew this place as special. His start. Their start. And the start of a new generation…
