The Black Cat, a.k.a, Felicia Hardy: A sophisticated and elegant, renowned thief. A woman who loved the thrill of pulling off a magnifcent heist, or the mystique that came with attending a social event to scope out a new target; she smiled at the thought of how eloquent she looked in this black dress. It would be certain to turn heads, thanks in-part to her shapely figure. A perfect way to help hide her intentions. Little did she know, though, that her days as a thief were coming to an end. The Lizard had released his 'cure' upon the city, and already it had pervaded the air. Turning all who breathed of it into feral lizards. And Felicia would be no exception.
"OK. Equipment is check. That just leaves-" An intense itching sensation accompanied a gut-wrenching, cracking sound. Felicia didn't even have time to consider what might have caused such agony. Only knowing that it paled in concern to what was happening to her hands. No longer the soft and nimble appendages that she was frequent to seeing. Now they were rigid, and scaled, tipped with hard, black talons. It held her attention between a mix of horror and amazement. Rendering the woman oblivious to similar changes with her feet. The dainty shoes that she had chosen to wear were shredded by massive talons, disproportionate to the rest of her body. But growth soon rippled upon her neck and arms, remedying such asymmetry. Her legs bulged with muscle and tone, the green of the thigh scales helping to accentuate a creamish hue on her stomach. She lamented over the loss of her thumbs, the tools that she had so expertly honed.
More of Felecia's humanoid stature was being lost by the second. And she would have given all she had stolen, a hundred times over, to make it stop. But that was not to be, as the changes finally forced the woman onto all fours. A degrading, bestial stance. She felt the corners of her mouth broaden and pull wide to expose sharpened teeth; such pain. Around her, the room seemed to widen, eyes switching to a position less suited for binocular vision. She shut them tight, trying to deny what was reality, attempting to scream for help. All that had made her such a proficient thief, once-fair complexion, large breasts, and beautiful hair, were being twisted and erased from her features. Felicia's reptilian eyes went wide in horror behind a bluish, forked tongue; it wasn't just her form she was losing, it was also her mind. Much like the rags of her black dress that were scattered about. So too, were Felicia's thoughts becoming torn and sundered.
'What thoughts and memories are mine?' Everything both made sense and didn't. Instinct filling in the holes that the removal of reason had left. An urge: To stay on all fours and hunt. Like the predator that she was, that she wanted to be. She braced her leathery pads against the floor of her room, doing as instinct commanded, momentarily losing balance until an equally leathery tail burst its way from the tatters of her skirt. Euphoric was all the woman's more primal brain could comprehend from the action as her underwear was catapulted free from her powerful flank.
Felicia was all but gone, replaced by a predatorial and cunning lizardess. Now, only one most basic goal remained. She shook herself free of any pieces of clothing that had survived, and stood on her hind legs. Sniffing the air for the scent of a proper mate. A distinct smell intrigued the former thief. A male, nearby, and desiring to copulate. Responding with a mating call, she looked around. Scouring the area for any visual sign or clue of the other's presence. Wood splintered as the door to her abode was shattered by a powerful, scaled hand. For a moment, Fight or Flight leveled what surprise had incited. The female backed into a defensive stance, hissing at the intruder. But the other lizard's tone did not indicate a desire to fight or kill for territory. But instead, to claim her.
The male was big. His hide, a dark and emerald shade of green. She watched him examine her. Sizing his potential mate up. He circled for a pause of time. Finally acknowledging that she was worthy a moment later when his organ left its vent with a dominant roar. Everything after that was dictated by instinct. Felicia spread her well-muscled legs and tilted a look back at him, beckoning to mate. And so he did. Ramming his length into her with forcefully precise thrusts. She felt his weight on her back, roaring with delight over the mating frenzy that had overtaken the two. They were, more or less, beasts now. Sentient, yet influenced by instinct, and they would mate no other way. The two peaked with a chorus of roars and hisses. And Felicia felt the male's seed nestle its way inside of her folds. Panting. Satisfied. Joyous over the knowledge that this was the first of many, many mating cycles for them. Not because she liked it, but because it meant the preservation of her kind, of instinct.
