THE RISE OF TYRANNY
Page 1:
"I-I think I'm lost." An obvious statement, but one Penelo had to hear herself say to shake back into reality. She never should have let Rimzat talk Vaan into going on ahead without her, not under conditions such as these. She trusted Vaan wholeheartedly in his decisions, but the bangaa was a different story.
"If I make it back, I'm going to strangle that lizard with his own dreads." She vowed under her breath. An entertaining fantasy at best in her current situation. She had no intention of going back, not without Vaan, even if it meant her own demise. He was all she had left of worth in this world and she'd sooner die with him than live without.
The only thing that was keeping her together in this insufferable place was the knowledge that she had been through far worse situations. She and Vaan had gone against the Empire itself and survived, The dangerous journey had helped her form strong bonds with those such as the young Solidor. Having survived such ordeals, Penelo knew she was destined for far greater things than to meet her end in some godsforsaken desert. There would still be doubt on this journey, but she knew she'd make it.
'I've survived worse, and I will survive this.'
She, perhaps naively, proceeded further into the westerlands.
Page 2:
The air was arid, dry and stifling. Penelo winced away from the beating bright sun high above the Dalmascan Westersands, wiping her brow. To her alarm, the hand that brushed away the beads of sweat felt alien to her. Rigid and leathery, not at all like the girlish fingers that she'd expected to feel. It cramped and ached as she jerked her hand in front of her face in time to see it begin spasming and cracking; fingers wildly flailing and fusing before her disbeleiving eyes. Those very same cramps shot up the whole of her arms and elbows, budding green scales over the areas of discomfort.
Had she contracted some rare kind of illness or magical curse? Whatever it was, Penelo knew that she had to act fast or what was happening would take not just her hands. So it went that her boots bulged, strained, ripped and finally exploded from what unseen changes had occurred within. Her feet, as she had known them, had been reduced to a pair of three brutish talons twitching nervously in the infancy of her overall changes. A fourth digit had migrated to the insides of her heels, still blank of any kind of daggered protrusions.
"This, this.....how, what?!" Penelo shrieked. It was all she could do in light of whatever horrible experience was being visited upon her. An experience she was viewing incredulously through fearful blue eyes.
Page 3:
"Gahh" Her thighs swelled to a degree beyond what the straps of her stylized outfit could hold, creaking and tearing. It was no different for the upper areas of her suit. They chimed in with sounds of their own duress, tearing in areas where extra bulk was most prominent. Scraps of leather went flying in all directions and left any surviving cloth hanging limply across her scaled thighs. Penelo knew not what she was becoming, it was a horrifying puzzle that she did not want to put together, but forced herself to in the hopes of reversing the process. Penelo tallied up what she saw of a body that was no longer recognizable as her own: The hulking taloned feet, and higher up similarly massive calves that were responsible for her boots' demise. The pair of scissored claws sitting atop her stumpy fingers. Where had she seen these traits before?
Page 4: Fabric deconstucted into threads and fell away against her bulging back. The ground jumped away from Penelo during the explosive few moments of change that grew her whole body to a point of ravaging her outfit into shreds. Her form was nearly bare to present itself for Penelo's morbid interest, feminine features all but gone. Her small breasts no more than poorly defined bumps now. At the bottom half, her legs had bulged and toned into thick assets suited for running beyond speeds that any human could hope to match. She continued looking down, her stance wobbly because of new anatomy; panties stretching to absurd lengths against an appendage that would become the solution to her unstable posture. She stood now, an abomination in her own eyes, that she wished nothing more than to simply cease living. Hysterics were abound in her mind, but she knew that there was still one place the changes had barely touched. The scales crept up around her cheeks for the finale.
Page 5: They smothered her complexion with diverse highs and lows of greens and yellows. Her breathing became shallowed, strangled gasps that escaped as she clawed uselessly at her pulsing throat.
"Help, someone help! Can't.......breath......hurts....helprrrrraagh" Her vocalizations wildly pitched down several octaves until she was no longer capable of human speech. Now silenced, Penelo could only watch through clenched teeth as the proportions of her face distorted and moved around. Her small nose had ballooned into a bulbous vague protrusion to match up with her broadening jaw line. All the crunching and grinding made it impossible for her to deny her reality, and then the pain returned. It felt like someone had taken her head and dragged it across a sea of knives.
Searing pain made her bite down even harder than before to brace against the tide of agony washing over her. She flared her widening nostrils and panicked as her field of view shifted, the side effect of her eyes moving further to the sides of her head. Above them, small spines poked through her balding head, curved aerodynamically at an angle opposite to the large set of horns that had split off from her initially bulbous nose. Now more fearful than pained, she raised her head back and watched with open-eyed horror as blond locks fluttered past her face; the last departed strands of hair.
As if a brittle piece of wood, Penelo's back gave a sharp crack. Her head almost slammed into the ground, and she nearly toppled herself trying to redistirbute weight across her hulking form, something a small nub plucking at her panties was rapidly trying to correct. An earth-shaking roar tore out from her daggered maw, it was the closest thing Penelo could equate to a scream.
Page 6: Her stance righted, and her changes slowed. Her nearly complete tail swished around and about, its movements told of an individual scared and emotionally broken. Inside she yelled for help, but it was the same as last time, a roar that went far and wide. Only this time, it received a response.
Page 7: The ground behind her rumbled in the midst of his steps. She wanted to run, but was too struck with fear at what she saw behind her.
His scales were brighter, his hide more decorated with ridges than her own, but most of concern was the one piece of jewelry that hung around its neck.
"Vrraann, rrrrit's meurr." She forced herself to articulate the garbled sentence as best she could, hoping to start a dialogue, and for a moment it seemed to work. Her former friend stayed himself and flared his nares, inspecting the female before him and taking in Penelo's scent.
"Penelorrrgh!" Vaan grabbed at his head with stubby arms, shaking and swaying it about as if in mental turmoil. Penelo watched, heartbroken, as her dearest friend staggered about into the rockface of the valley. There were several more moments of protest and then Vaan's erratic behavior calmed and ceased. She stepped forward and reached out, it wasn't until she saw the feral beast in his eyes that she knew she'd made a mistake.
Vaan approached upon a heavy, menacing gait to which Penelo recoiled. She stayed motionless, hoping that he would come to his senses, but knew it was not to be as soon as she saw his throbbing penis slide out from his vent. He took another step towards her, then a second, and a third until Vaan was close enough for Penelo to smell. She felt her rational mind slipping in favor of bestial needs, the need to hunt and more importantly to mate.
She turned to face away from Vaan and present herself with an approving hiss. His answer was a full-on tackle, pinning her down. She felt him position, his massive length inches from her slit, the head gently bumping against her scaley clit.
'Feels so good, so goo-what's happening to me?!' Clarity and cognisance flickered back into Penelo. She jerked herself free from an unsuspecting Vaan long enough to get a running start. She had to get out of here, she realized now that giving into her feral side would be a one-way trip. There was no way she could bring herself to hurt Vaan even as he currently was, her only option was to escape.
'Gotta' run, gotta' get away from him and get help!' Intuition told that she could retain her humanity if she got as much distance between herself and Vaan. It was not to be, for she only managed to run a few paces before Vaan violently slammed her back down, this time latching on with a mating bite.
'Why, I could've fixed this, fixed us... Why?' Penelo felt herself beginning to fade at the touch of Vaan's member tracing itself along her outer folds. She closed her eyes, knowing what her fate was to be. A single tear streaked down the side of her snout and was swallowed by the dry of the valley floor. Vaan's shaft found its target and lined up with her sex, giving an unconsented thrust into her virgin folds that snuffed out her previous existence once and for all.
When her eyes opened again, they were not the ones of a kind and upbeat girl. These were the feral slits of an apex predator in the throes of a mating frenzy. Her flank slammed against his hips like waves crashing against a bulwark; she pushed herself on to his member encouragingly and let him climb all over her with reckless abandon. Over and over he slammed himself into her, each thrust more vigorous than the last, working to that oh-so-sweet reward they both desired. Their eyes met for a brief moment, a moment composed of unparalleled pleasure; the male's warm seed sprayed out into the female's welcoming inner walls; the height of pleasure. Rocks shattered into pieces around them, so powerful were their combined roars. Amid a sea of broken and shattered rocks, the two collapsed on each other as a satisfied heap. This place was now their home, this place was where they would raise a family. This place was the beginning of tyranny.
