How could she screw up like that? She was the best assasin in all of Eltabbar, if not in all of Thay. The red wizards feared her and called her the \"Red Death\", both meaning the color of her fur and spelling death for any red wizard that becomes a target of hers. It was only a matter of time until she became a target herself and her last task was a trap. She barely escaped the Conjurer's tower alive, blowing all of her ressources on the way and now she was here in the alley, surrounded by some mediocre assasins of a rival guild and still she was at a major disadvantage. Being as experienced as she was she could not see any way to escape from this alive and so instead she concentrated on the thought of taking with her as many of them as she could. Her eyes were narrow and she hissed silently at them... when he came. A big and burly half dragon clad in black platemail with a humongous ugly greatsword fitting him in size and strength. He wasn't exactly the sneaky type as he slowly rattled along the alley, his eyes fixed on her situation. One of her persecutor turned to the newcomer: \"This is not of your business... half-blood. Leave now and you shall go unharmed.\" The giant spit out before responding calmly: \"See, I can't do that. I just can't bear cowards ganging up on someone like that... but I am a nice guy, so I'll return your favour: 'Leave now and you shall go unharmed.' \", the dragon also imitated the assasin's voice when he made his counter offer and a slight grin came to his snout, as he drew that pointy slab of steel that could have been as easily a sword as it could have been a sharpened steel girder. Then everything went so fast ...\n\nThe battle ended with her slitting the throat of the last of her assailants pushing him against the wall, when the upper body - and only the upper body - of another smacked against the wall right beside her, still a look of surprise on his face. The half dragon laughed loud and filled with joy: \"Now that was fun, wasn't it?\" Luca had no idea, who that guy was. Was his appearance really coincidence? She shook hear head, it barely mattered now. All that mattered was, that he had saved her from certain death. Her code of honor was quite specific at that point. She turned to him and bowed her head slightly: \"You saved my life, stranger. I am in your debt.\" He was untouched by the battle, only his giant sword was drenched in blood. He walked over to her clanking at each step and stuck the sword into the ground beside her. His eyes still were on fire with the joy from battle and with more than only that that. \"Damn right, you are ...\" was his answer, as he started unlacing his crotch plate ...
